Timidthy ran away as the kid's from behind him said,
"Hey TIMIDthy! Get back here or are ya a bigger coward then we thought!"
"He's not a coward he's a chicken and a scaredy cat!"
"No way that's an insult to cat's and chickens." Timidthy blushed red and started crying as he ran to the castle he never though he'd hate hearing his own name.
Celestia was sitting in her private study when the doors flew open,
"Mommy!" Timidthy cried with tears streaming down his face.
"The kid's we're making fun of me again! I can't take it, I need to change my name!" Timidthy finished. Celestia looked shocked and gave an understanding look,
"I understand Timidthy to be honest when I gave you your first name I hadn't thought it through. You may change your name." said Celestia, Timidthy smiled and hugged his mother, as he wiped some tears from his eye's. "Thank you, Mother." said Timidthy as he ran out the castle and made his way to Canterlot Town Hall. As he ran his friends Sweet Dreams, Bumper, and French Press came along for the journey.
"Hey Tim where are you going in such a hurry?" said Bumper as he was amazed on how fast Timidthy was going.
"I'm going to change my name." Timidthy said surprisingly his friends all said,
"Finally!" Timidthy looked shocked,
"What do you guy's mean "Finally"? said Timidthy curiously.
French Press spoke up,
"Well no offence Timidthy but your name has always been a bit....dorky. Especially with the misspelling. I swear when out english teacher saw how your name was spelled. I think she was ready to call Celestia and ask what she was thinking! Plus everypony knows your timid there's no reason to make it out by your name." Timidthy didn't look hurt instead he looked at Bumper and the look just screamed.
"Well?" Bumper gave a sheepish smile,
"Well your name is a bit lame I mean before I got to know you. I thought your name was spelled T-i-m-o-t-h-y not T-i-m-i-d-t-h-y. It drove mne nuts! Not to mention I always thought you looked more like a "Arnold" to me." said Bumper as a faint blush appeared on his cheeks. Sweet Dreams sighed and spoke,
"Well Timidthy your name is adorable but if you wish to change it then I'm with you all the way." Timidthy smiled confidently as the town hall came into view,
"Well looks like it's time for a change." said Timidthy as he stopped in his tracks, waved to his friends and went inside. Timidthy's friends waited anxiously as they all debated on what he'd change his name to. Then Timidthy came out looking pleased, Timidthy pulled out a official name document. And at the bottom it read Timidthy,
"Huh!?" said Bumper, French Press, and Sweet Dreams's at once.
"I thought about it and it's silly to change my given name." said Timidthy calmly.
"Okay but your middle name is Timid?" said Bumper with disbelief. Timothy blushed,
"Yeah my mom isn't the best with name's.....apparently." Timidthy said bashfully.
"I think the more important question is your last name is Balazs!?" said French Press trying to suppress a laugh. Timidthy blushed,
"Yeah, Yeah believe me I'm going to ask my mom about that." said Timidthy as him and his friends walked to the castle. Satisfied and relived he came to his senses.
Unfortunately for Timidthy three kid's had heard what his name was. The group consisted of two colts and a filly, the filly was black and had orange freckles. Her hair was orange as well and had cream colored line's streaking through it. Her cutiemark was a picture of a unidentified colt crying. The two colts that followed her we're waiting for a command. They we're twins, one had a red coat orange eye's and blue hair. While the other one had red eye's a blue coat and orange hair. The filly smirked evilly as she thought on how to make her new target miserable.
"Boys we have fresh meet." said the filly maliciously as her and her colt minons laughed evilly.
Timidthy and his friends sat in his room as they drank hot co-co and talked.
"I can't believe that after all of that you still kept your name!" Bumper complained.
"Yeah! You could've changed it to something much cooler!" said French Press, Timidthy was going to speak until Sweet Dreams spoke up.
"Well I'm glad he didn't his name is cute, adorable and it's fine just the way it is!" Timidthy blushed beet red and smiled sheepishly.
"Dawww! Looks like little Tim worked himself into a tizzy!" Bumper playfully teased, French Press snickered at the comment. While Timidthy blushed redder and Sweet Dreams rolled her eye's in amusement. Timidthy took a sip of his co-co and spoke,
"Well all of you did have fair point's but when I had the chance I realised I was doing it out of fear. I may not like being teased but what I don't want to do is subcome to peer pressure. I want to be my own pony." said Timidthy happily as his friends smiled, but for some reason Timidthy couldn't shake off this bad feeling that was starting to grow in his chest. And as Timidthy chose to ignore it, and his stop watch cutiematk started ticking. It would only get worse as it would pay a reminder of the catastrophe that would soon strike.
