Hello everyone! Welcome to my newest story, I would just like to point out that everypony's minds have been erased and replaced with ' new ' memories, so the ponies who where alive during the take over do not remember a life without Nightmare moon and Queen Celestia ( Ruptor ) I also added new names to them as I feel they would like to be adressed properly and if you look into it I actually have obvious links that base them either off their real name and such. ( Ruptor means Breaker. ) Also, Celestia does indeed have memory of a world where Twilight became her student and defeated Nightmare moon in visions. Thank you!

I'm Twilight Sparkle, the student- or well I'm called a servant of Queen Ruptor or ' Day breaker ' I respect her enough but do you ever wish for more? No you're right, maybe life is good the way it is. I have my only friend Spike with me, he's not around a lot though, my boss never lets me near him a lot.. for some reason.

Let's just say this isn't - no, it's paradise compared to other places around Equestria, hunger.. Fear, what could be worse? My ' mentor ' teaches me a bit of magic, she tells me that magic is well complicated. Some call her Day Breaker, my only mother - figure, my mother is dead I never knew why, I was told she was killed by an Earth Pony with a white coat. All I was ever told really. My father? He's well him, he doesn't ever visit and whenever I do he's pretty shaky and strange, like always.

I like to read, my mentor tells me that if I don't read and follow her ways I'll disappoint her and I - I.. just don't want to make her mad.

I've seen her mad....

I was told of a tale, about two beautiful ponies who ruled together, side by side but where murdered by the Queens. Maybe - just maybe.. Some say they murdered their true identities letting the nightmare take hold of them others say they murdered the true rulers others obviously say it's just a legend. Right?..

As I said before I like to read, quite a lot actually. I'm okay with magic I guess, my teacher tells me I have potential but if I don't exercise my power enough I'll be weak. The sisters are bad alone, but when they are on the floor together it's - hard to be brave. Imagine, a long eerie hall..

It seems like eye's are always peering over your shoulder, it's dark. It's cold, you approach the thrones. Day Breaker glancing at you in disgust, her mane alone is the brightest thing in that room while Queen Night comes from the shadows demanding you of something. Both of their power combined? I've seen them fight.. I've seen them fight Discord, he wasn't banished...

Any pony who threatens their rule is a threat, why don't I just run away? Maybe just maybe theirs hope. I've seen something it was the weirdest thing in Equestria, I was heading to the castle's library when..

' ' Why?... WHY?! ' ' Glooms of sorrow and screeches would send shocking pain through my heart, I made the littlest noise frozen in my very position, it felt like a sudden burst of ice freezing you eternally. But I blinked, it wasn't Queen Ruptor just a white - pure white alicorn with a beautiful flowy mane her violet eye's brighter than the moon on a clear night, so less threatening. I didn't speak.. I was breathe taken.

' ' Why are you doing this to me? Let me go.. please... I BEG OF YOU... please, I want my sister back. ' ' The pure white pony pleaded, I almost ran to help but I couldn't move, what was happening? It was like hearing a familiar voice whispering ' Twilight.. twilight ' over and over..

Soon I noticed, it was Day Breaker in her true form. It was her! How? Was Queen Night secretly like her? At first, I thought she was bluffing.. Day breaker wasn't like this but.. was she casted under a spell perhaps for all these years or am I just insane?

' ' Quite strange how you managed to break my spell sister, quite impressive I may say. To bad Celestia I won't be allowing this any longer! ' ' Her voice was like a cold husk, so empty and lifeless just a few chuckles here and there. The library seemed so bright and full of life compared to Queen Night's glares upon her own sister.

' ' Luna please - I will no longer hold myself back to your power! - ' ' Celestia's golden glow on her horn was bright, attempting to attack.. Luna.. as she said, suddenly the white pony's power was quickly reduced, only sending a small zap to Nightmare Moon, forcing a chuckle out of the nightmarish mare.

I can't believe what I did, I felt so mindless. I made a loud enough noise to catch the attention of the mares, their gazes locked on mine automatically it sending a chill down my worthless body.. I almost ran, Queen Night has never honestly paid any attention to me until now.. Her powerful posture and her wing's spread to make her seem more elegant. Celestia though.. Her glance was soft, tearing up almost like- no she couldn't know me in her true form.. But I felt like - I met my mother again.

' ' Twilight Sparkle! My student, get the elements of Harmony! Hidden in the orgins of history. The pony's of the elements hidden away in the doors of Nightmare moon! My student this is not who you are, I know you where memory wiped. I am Princess Celestia your care - taker and true mentor save Equestria! ' 'I was in pure shock, Nightmare moon glanced at me in pure disbelief and her sharp smile struck her heart.

I attempted to run but I failed, I was indeed struck with a spell to freeze me in my place. It was cold.. I had no control over my self, I felt powerless more than I ever have. I stared upon the princesses, trying to save my so called mentor, I felt like I could help. I couldn't.. I was just a unicorn..

' ' Sister.. either be banished or turn back. ' ' It was clearly obvious, Queen Night wanted her sister here. It was like a sharp thorn being stuck in your heart, no pony should have to give up their sister, right?.. Her eye's where having a blue - like glow in the darkness of the library, what was she going to do with me?.. Torture me, kill me?.. The Queen would do anything to have me out of her way... Wouldn't she?

' ' I- I.. I will join you once more, I don't know what I was thinking sister- ' ' I could slightly sense the lie in her tone, it was shaky the princess kept her head high in an effort to be brave but in reality she was so afraid.. Very afraid... I- I understand..

' ' Just please set my student free! She doesn't deserve this sister, I do.. Please do with you like with me, kill me. Just don't hurt her or my subjects - or your subjects, I don't care! They all that matters anymore.. ' ' Celestia was trying to hold back the pain, but she wasn't a perfect princess no matter how hard she tried but in the end she would do anything to keep the innocent safe..

' ' How noble! Well then, I shall set her free. ' ' Queen Night reversed the spell, and soon I came back to life like finally I felt alive. Celestia gave me that nod that said ' run ' and I did, I acted like this was my final day and it almost was.. I would never betray my mentor and I would find these things they call the Elements of Harmony..

I was racing down the halls, the eerie tone of the halls sending a shiver down my spine in an act of a way to feel protected I always kept track of my tracks. Until - I ran into her.
