Chapters It was a calm night in the land of Equestria. A purple-blue/dark blue Alicorn flies overs the land pratroling for any danger to anypony, she sees a dark silhouette of what seemed to be a pegasus lying on the ground of the cold night. She flies down and lands on the ground to find out that it was a black-red Pegasus with a two elemental sided heart as its Cutie Mark. She was worried that she doesn't recognize the Pegasus from anypony in Equestria. She used her magic to summon a saddle-bag for the unconscious Pegasus which was a young stallion. She flew off knowing that the young stallion will soon get to understand his new home.
I woke up in a grass field next to a few flowers, I got up quickly and look around to notice that I wasn't in someplace familiar. I started to notice that I had hooves instead of hands. I freaked out for an hour while checking my body. ''Ok...I am a Pegasus. This is really strange.'', I said to myself to make sure I can talk. I sighed in relief, I got up on my hooves and looked around what looked liked a saddle-bag that are used on horse saddles. I picked it up with my hoof,''Ok...how can I pick this up with my hoof?'', I thought to myself. I put on the saddle-bag, and it fit me, surprisingly. I chuckled and started to think to myself. I saw what looked liked a town that might be a couple miles away. ''Lets see if I can use these wings...'', I said aloud, I started to flap my wings slowly with a running start and flew into the air. I was amazed and looked at the amazing view of the area and the town ahead. I tried out to see how fast I can go and flew as fast I did when I ran with full speed by running. I dashed off to the town and after 4 minutes of flying I made it to the town and landed perfectly. ''Ha! That was so FANTASTIC!'', I thought aloud in my mind. I started to see that ponies lived in this town. I saw normal ponies, Unicorns, and other Pegasi flying around. But the Pegasi were pushing or destroying clouds, I was in a 'poker face' moment for a bit. I walked around for a bit in this town and asked a white Unicorn with blue/light blue mane,''Excuse me, what is this town called?''. ''Ponyville.'', she answered with a party smirk on her face. ''Why? Did you just got born?'', she laughed a bit, I had a irritated face on my face. ''No, I woke up in a field not too far from here.'', I said as normal as I could, she nodded her head and said,''Well, it's good you finally woke up from dream to Equestria.'' I was shocked that I was right about not being in America. I walked away wondering how I got here and how I became a pony, until I bumped into someone.
Twilight was putting science and mechanical stuff on me to analyze me from head to hoof to tail. "Hmm.'', she started thinking to herself when the scans came out of the machine. I tried to see what it said,''What does it say?', I asked, trying not to yell like a prisoner in jail,''Well, the results say your not from Equestria. Are you?'', she asked with so much interest in those purple eyes of her's. I tried to not say anything until she gave me a look my mom would give me. I sighed,''Yes...I'm not from this so called country.'', I said to make it sound convincing. ''Equestria.'', Twilight said in a way that a person would say about something they never heard of. I looked at her,''Whatever it's called. I don't know how I got here in the first place.'', I said with concern about my way back home. Twilight looked at me with a certain look with her eyes,''Ok. I think I and Princess Celestia can help you with your problem.'', she looked at me with a sad and happy look,''Really?!''. I had got excited way too fast that my wings opened automatically. ''Yes, but I want to observe you before I take you to the princess.'', she smirked like she wanted me to stay here in this strange world,''I'll do anything to get back home.'', I said in a 'no matter the cost' tone to Twilight. She smiled and said,''Now, time for you to meet my friends.'', she smiled in joy.
Twilight and I were walking around in Ponyville to go to meet her friends, our first stop was a place called, Sugarcube Corner. When we arrived to the place it looked like a gingerbread house for gingerbread people,''Your friend must like sweets.'', I said to Twilgiht. She nodded to what I said and we both walked inside the house. The bell that rang when the door opened let someone know that customers have arrived. I felt like something was staring at me, I looke to my right and saw a pink mare with blue eyes. I screamed of surprise and accidently hit my head against the ceiling and fell on my ass. The pink pony giggled in laughter,''Your weird you pegasus.'', she gasped so big that she started to hop around me. ''A new pony in Ponyville! Woohoo!'', she cheered in excitement. I rubbed the top of my head,''What?'', I asked,''Well whenever I see a pony I've never met. That means that they're new and I must through a party!'', she kept bouncing around me in excitement. ''By the way, I'm Pinkie Pie! You can call me Pinke, everypony does.'', she grinned at me, still excited. ''Nice to meet you, Pinkie. I'm Shadow Flare.'', I said to Pinkie Pie without asking her if she's always this excited. Pinkie got off of me and went to the back room,''Twilight, did I just get pinned down by a hyper pink pony?'', I asked in my 'poker face' moment. ''Uhh, yeah...she does that.'', Twilight laughed a bit without warning me first. I got up on my hooves, still a bit shocked how fast that was for meeting someone. ''So, while she plans my party, who should I meet next?'', I asked Twilight,''We should go meet my friend Rarity. She lives in a boutique.'', Twilight said and lead the way once again. While our walk to Rarity, I look at every single pony in an worried way. ''You ok, Shadow?'', Twilight asked with a bit of concern, I look at her and noded. "It's just...that I don't like how I'm different from everyone.'', I said with a sad sounding tone. ''The term is 'everypony' Shadow.'', Twilight corrected,''Ok. Thanks for correcting me.'', I said with a normal tone to not sound sad. ''You'll fit in Shadow, just see.'', Twilight said like she was sure about it.
We arrived at Rarity's boutique and I was just staring at how fancy and exquisite the boutique was. Twilight knocked on the door, we waited for 6 minutes until a white unicorn mare with a purple mane who is probably Rarity. ''Oh, Twilight darling. I didn't expect to see you today dear.'', she said in an excellent voice. ''It's good to see you too, Rarity. I have someone I like for you to meet.'', Twilight said while using her hoof to point to me. ''Greetings ma'am, I'm Shadow Flare. I'm new here to Ponyville and Twilight wanted me to meet you.'', I said as formal I could be. Rarity scooted up front of me quickly and examined me by every detail,''You seem like a very handsome stallion, darling. '', Rarity said in a motherly tone. ''Why thank you ma'am.'', I said, liking the compliment,''And the way you look is unique and mysterious, I like mysterious.'', said Rarity, with her fancy Canterlot talk. I blush with a bit of embarrassment, I chuckle,''It is very nice of you to like the way I look.'', I said to Rarity without trying to studder. ''Well, it was nice meeting you darling, but I got lots of dresses to make fore Fancy Pants' model. Toodles.'', Rarity left into her boutique and shut the door. I turn my head to Twilight and say,''She's nice, isn't she?'', Twilight noded,''She's a very generous pony Shadow. You might get a suit hoof-made from her.'', Twilight said as she turned around and I followed. Twilight leaded me to a place out at the edge of Ponyville, Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight told me it's a apple farm that has been around since the beginning of Ponyville and that her friend named, Applejack, works there. We made it to the acres part of Sweet Apple Acres and that's when I saw Applejack, she seemed like one of those old west cowgirls, since I lived in the west of America. We approched Applejack after she bucked a apple tree to get the apples down. Twilight told me that apple-bucking is when a pony uses their hind legs to hit the tree hard enough to force the apples off the branches. ''Howdy Twi, how are ya?'', asked Applejack in a happy mood,''I'm good, AJ. You seem in a cheerful mood.'', Twilight wondered. ''In a few days, Zap Apple Season will start and Ah can wait for it to come!'', Applejack said in a happy tone. ''Zap Apple Season?'', I asked in confusion, AJ looks at me and says,''Ya don't know what Zap Apple Season is? Zap Apples are rainbow colored apples that are made by a special type of lightning bolt on the trees. And Zap Apple Season is when we make anything that involves apples with Zap Apples instead of using normal apples.'', I was amazed by the sound of how this works. ''That sounds...awesome!'', I said out loud for no reason, I chuckled in embarrassment,''Ya funny, sugarcube.'', AJ said. Twilight walked beside me,''We better get going, I hope you go to Shadow's party AJ.'', Twilight said, Applejack tilted to the side in confusion. ''Oh, this is Shadow Flare. He is new here.'', Twilight introduced her to me,''Nice to meet you sugarcube. You must already know that I'm Applejack, or call me AJ.'', Aj said in a nice welcoming tone. Me and Twilight were about to head to her friend, Fluttershy's, cottage as she says until me and Twilight got teleported to what seemed to be a throne room to a old recolored castle in a modern era. I turned around and saw another winged unicorn, but she had white fur and a flowing mane with four different colors in it as she sits on her throne. I noticed a crown on her head and then Twilight saw her too, I bowed for the white winged unicorn since she was a queen. Twilight trotted to her and said,''Princess Celestia!'', in a happy tone. My eyes widened and got up on my hooves properly. ''It is good to have you here Twilight, but there is danger to Equestria again and I need you and your friends to defeat this threat.'', Celestia said in happy to a serious tone. The princess noticed me and it seemed like she knew me,''And take your new friend to help.'', Celestia said to Twilight. Twilight looked at me then back to the princess,''But princess he's just a normal Pegasus, I don't know if he can do to help.'', Twilight said in concern of me. Celestia smiled,''Trust me, he might just be a more of a surprise than he looks.'', said Celestia as like she knows something. ''Now, go my little ponies and save Equestria.'', Celestia said before she teleported us back to Equestria.
Me, Twilight, and her friends all appeared in Twilight's crystal designed castle that Twilight and I came out of hours ago. Twilight's magic went a bit shaky and she felt something familiar. ''Girls...and Shadow, I think Sombra is back.'', Twilight said in a serious war sounding tone. The others started talking and wondering how a evil pony named, Sombra, is back.''Who is Sombra?'', I ask wondering who this somepony is, Twilight and her friends started to look at me and it took awhile for Twilight to explain to me about 'King' Sombra. ''Okay, so how do we take down Sombra...again?'', I said for a moment with a bit of confusion. Twilight, me, and the others gathered around to figure out a plan to defeat him. ''I hope everypony knows the plan to stop him and save Equestria?'', Twilight asked everypony, me and the others noded in agreement. ''But I got to try out some of my abilities here, I'll be outside. Will you help me Twilight?'', I asked her. She smiled in excitement, she noded and joined to help me.
On the same night when Princess Luna found the new pony in Equestria, she flew back to Canterlot castle to tell her sister the news. Luna landed at the tower and met with Celestia. ''Sister, I have found a pony laying in the fields a few miles from Ponyville.'', Luna said to her Celestia. She looks at Luna with happy eyes,''Then he has come to help us. The Flame that lives in the shadows of time.'', Celestia said with hope in her old eyes that have kept so much regret for 1,000 years. ''We don't understand, dear sister. Thou must tell us.'', said Luna in question, Celestia give Luna a look that she hasn't seen in years. ''He has come to destroy the darkness that will return even stronger than before.'', Celestia said for luna to understand what she means.
I fell on my ass and thought,''OW! Who did I bump into?!'', I rubbed my forehead a bit. ''Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention where I was walking.'', I heard another female voice that was a sweet voice, I opened my eyes to see a purple-lavendor Unicorn with wings looking at me in worry. ''It's ok, I wasn't paying attention either.'', I said with a normal tone of voice, she started to look at me and then at my eyes in curiosity. ''Uh...what are you doing?'', I asked her with confusion,''Your eyes.'', She said. I raised a brow,''My eyes?'', she nodded. ''Your eyes are teal and they look like Princess Luna's eyes.'', she kept looking at my eyes. ''Uhh...who?'', I asked in confusion, she gasped and realized. ''I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Twilight Sparkle. What's yours?'' She smiled at me, I looked at her ass to see a tattoo on it that is similar to her name. I looked at my ass and saw a heart with both halves a different color flame. I looked back at her and said,''I'm Shadow Flare, nice to meet you miss Twilight.'', I smiled to show I'm friendly. She smiled a bit and started to look at my ass and move to it to get a better look, I started to blush to feel like I'm being embarrassed,''Interesting.'', she said to herself, loud enough for me to hear. ''What is?'', I asked her, she kept looking,''Your Cutie Mark is something I've never seen in the books I have read.'', she looked like she was getting excited about it. She grabbed my hoof and teleported me and her into what looked like a lab in a basement. ''Uhh..where are we?'', I asked, still confused on what's going on. ''My lab and I'm gonna run some tests on you.'', she made her mane into a cute bun and put on a lab coat while wearing glasses to be ready. I gulped in what she might do to me.
