Protector of Equestria: Season 1
One thousand years ago,Equestria was once a happy a care free land where magical equines also known as "ponies" were happy among other creatures. Magic,Adventure,Romance what more could a pony ask for?
**But one day,darkness came over all the equines, as terror spread throughout the land,legends has it that there were five rulers that spread terror throw out Equestria. So powerful that not even Starswirl the Bearded himself couldn't stop them, all hope was lost until the day came when one warrior willing to fight back against the evil, legend has it that “it” is not from Equestria, yet it has enhanced the abilities of all three pony types, the strength of an earth pony, the wings of a pegasus, and the magic of a unicorn. By using the 3 elements of a ponies it was able to vanquish the evil that brought threat to the land, and with that order was restored and the equines worshiped the warrior that saved their land, but it had mysteriously disappeared along with the threat. “Legend has it that “it” will return to proclaim his rightful place on his throne has the protector of Equestria. Huh……..interesting.” *I said closing the book as I put it back in my bag, from there I got my songbook and wrote down some lyrics that I've been having in my head for a while, sure I have to admit writing music is kinda hard when you don't have any inspiration, then again I don't really have any friends here, then again who needs them, well…..I did have one friends but…….** “Afternoon Logan!” I was brought back to reality by the sound of a familiar voice, I turned my head to see a brown stallion with a nice shade of brown mane and tail with a cutie mark of cheesecake it was Mr. Hooverton, he had his little cart of cheesecakes and a big smile on his face, I smiled back at him and closed my book, getting up on my two feet stretching my arms and legs I started skipping down the hill and down to Mr. Hooverton. “Afternoon Mr. Hooverton.” I said greeting him with a smile. “Cream Cheese get a “Logan useful” for this young man.” Mr. Hooverton said as a creamed colored unicorn filly popped her head out as her dark pink mane with a red highlight was covering her face, as she moved her name out of the way her tiny horn pops out, I chuckled a bit as I put my bag and looked inside for my bag of bit, as I pulled out my bag of bits I took out two bits out of it and handed them to Mr. Hooverton as he took them with a hoove. “Thank you Logan, so what's my favorite human up to on this fine afternoon.” Mr. Hooverton asked with a neighborly smile, I knew he was joking when he said “his favorite human” when he knew entirely that I am the only human here, but I'll let it slide. “Well you know me Mr. Hooverton, I'm just sitting here sitting on top of the this here hill, writing down my feelings into songs, you know the usual.”I said as Mr. Hooverton sighed as he shakes his head in disappointed “You and your songs, I say why don't you ever go into town and make some friends, who knows?” He said as he nudges me playfully. “Maybe you'll catch the mares attention.” He said, wiggling his eyebrows as he chuckled a bit, I chuckled along with him, you know I never really thought about having “friends” what with my mom home schooling me for my entire life but she never really explained to me the true meaning of “friendship”...............I know very cheesy. “Nah, I don't think I'm, you know ready to leave my home, and besides, you know how my mom his with the hole, you being my “protection” and all.” “But didn't you say, one of your biggest dreams is to make big on Broadway?” He said making a flashy movement with his hooves, that's is true all my life I always wanted to make my own music and release my first album and I even made up some amazing names for the albums that I'm planning to release to the entire land of Equestria. “I know but…” “Then go and make that dream come true, like I tell my little Cream Cheese “make tomorrow come today”, and by the time she's a full grown mare I want to her hold one of “your” albums.” He said putting a hooves to my chest. “I will, I'm getting a little practice here and there, my mom put me in a choir group when I was 6,......but then I was kicked out for being “human”.” I said feeling a bit pissed, there’s not a day that goes by where I hear at least one pony say “Oh look that human, let’s throw garbage at it just for fuck of it.” And if it's not that they’re criticizing me for being the princesses human abomination disguising himself has her son. Thank my “my spot of kindness” that I didn't make a big fuss about it. By the time I reached fourteen I have had visions or nightmares in the middle of the night which led to me sneaking a piece of chocolate cake which then lead to me making another chocolate cake for her due to the fact that i ended up eating the entire cake by morning. It wasn't hard, as a kid I learned a lot of things, when I was 10 I learned how to cook, at that same age I taught myself how to play music and make my own clothes, why because every time my mom’s dress designers would try to make me any cloths she would ether make them too large or too tight, so I decided to make my own so by look at her work, and my mom getting me a sewing machine I made my own clothes, and trust me I look a lot better in my “hand made” clothes than in a too large or too tight tux. “Well I hope you do, oh for crying out loud, Cream Cheese where is Logan’s cheesecake!?!” He yelled as the there was no response form behind him. “What's holding her up?” “ Give her a break Mr. Hooverton, I mean she's only a foal.” As I said that I see little Cream Cheese come out of the trunk and run up to me with a canister with a piece of cheesecake in…….. “Wait Cream Cheese, are you using your magic?!?” I said excitedly as she nods excitedly, I’ve always seen her trying to use her magic every time I go to Mr. Hoovertons Cheesecake House and now that I see her succeeding was amazing, as I saw her blue aura around the canister, I raise my hand up seeing the blue aura turning red as I pull the canister towards me, putting it on the palm of my hand. “You know I keep forgetting that you have magic.” Said Mr. Hooverton as he strapped his cart back on as little Cream Cheese run back on the trunk of the cart. “Well I better get going, these cakes aren't going to sell themselves, and remember Logan what I told you.” “I will bye Mr. Hooverton, bye Cream Cheese” I said waving them both goodbye as they wave goodbye to me back, by the time his cart was out of sight I walked back up the hill and sat back down underneath the tree, as I was about to take my notebook back out I heard the Canterlot Town Square clock ring, “Shit!”I panicked quacking packing my things along with my cheesecake in my bag, “Okay Logan you practiced this more than twice…...and.”* said as I span around as my magic activated, teleporting me back into my room at the castle.
Quickly taking the cheesecake out of my bag I ran down stairs to the dining room putting the cheesecake in the refrigerator, then I saw, one of my mom’s double fudge,three layer chocolate cake, and knew it was hers because on the third layer down is imprinted in ether yellow cream cheese frosting or buttercream frosting “Don't not let Logan eat!” I chuckled as went across the words with my finger getting a nice layer of frosting on my finger, bring it up to my mouth giving it a taste. “Up buttercream,she would never put cream cheese frosting on her cakes” *I said going going to the other side of the kitchen, opening the kitchen cabinets looking for a knife, finding a knife and grabbing a plate with a fork looking both directions I quickly go back to the fridge and cut a piece of cake getting a nice slice of my plate, closing the fridge door I grab my plate of cake as I drug my fork in the cake bring it up to my mouth and taking a bit out of it, the flavor of fudge mixed with the chocolate of the cake is intoxicating, I'm just wondering where my mom…...** “Sneaking another piece of my cake now are you?” I froze immediately after I heard a voice from behind me, and I knew who that was? As I turned around I could see her, that alabaster mare standing in front of the door frame, smiling at me. I knew she was ether ready to attack or she's going to use her magic to take my piece of cake, and that isn't going to happen today. “YOU AIN’T TAKING MY CAKE TODAY WOMAN!!” I said running to the wall quickly teleporting out of the kitchen, and into the hallway of the castle, sighing in relief I walk across the halls of the castle, but as unlucky as I am I could feel my mom right behind me. “We go through this everytime and everytime I end up winning.” She whispers in my ear, and I see a yellow light shine as I see silhouette of a alicorn behind me, I turned around smiling “So mom, how is my mother doing on this fine afternoon?” I said smiling nervously as I take a few steps back my plate on my hand as my mom chuckled “Well, I just finished taking my afternoon walk and I was hoping to see my son in his room enjoying his afternoon, until I realise that he has a piece of my double fudge chocolate cake, may I ask why?” she said as her horn light up yellow has my plate lights the same way, I knew what she was going to do and I wasn't going to allow her to take “my” piece of cake, cancelling her magic with mine I quickly run to opposite direction but was tripped by my mother's magic and was dragged back to her. “Now Logan, you know how I feel when you run away from mommy, do you want to leave mom alone?” She said as she made her baby face, she knew that I would always fall for that face, and if that didn't get me she would fake cry right in front of me, and I would just end up cry myself, I groaned as I give the plate to my mom as her smiled as she used her magic to lift me up on my feet and nuzzles my cheek, even though I was a bit mad I hugged her as she hugged me back with the same love. Something about hugging my mom was something that I didn't want to end, sure she's not my species mother, but she did take care of me from a baby to a young teenager she taught me how to speak how to write and she even taught me how to walk everything else me making clothes, cooking, baking I taught myself buy something that I don't get is, I've been with her for a long time and I haven't aged since I was eighteen I think I'm one hundred and fifty years old. I know how long a regular pony lives for, but I'm not ageing, why? After our hug I took a walk outside the castle gardens seeing the birds fly around me was something I liked to see when I was a kid, sure I didn't have any friends sure Mr. Hooverton his wife and filly were some what my friends but I don't having any that are my age, but I manage on my own. All I need was my mom, the animal and….. “HEAD UP!!!” I heard somepony yell as I saw a arrow fly across my face, turning quickly I saw three of the Royal Guards two with their bow and arrows and one with a sword which was held by his magic, I sighed shaking my head “Oh come on guys, was I enjoying my walk.” “Sorry, but we have some unfinished business.” one of them said chuckling a bit, I smirk as I raised my hand magically making “Beth” aspire. Beth was named my sword I got as gift from me retiring from the royal guard, yes it's hard to believe I was once in the royal guard when I was 7 I wasn't allowed in school because one I was a human and two on my third day I made a colt bleed for bullying me my mom saw an opportunity and she put me in royal guard training, seriously I was the top of the troopers and I was private in less than two weeks then in about three years I was the leader of the Royal Guard when I turned sixteen but when I turned eighteen I retired because I designed that I wanted more than being a guard, taking her out of her sword case I saw them move back as I walked towards them smirking at them “So you really think only they three of you could take me on?” “You know to be honest…….no.” He said has he whistled loudly, me feeling alarmed as I knew exactly what that whistle was, before i could even blink I saw the royal troops running down across the castle floors and others from a distance, I chuckled as I knew exactly what was about to happen. “Is that what i think it is?” I said as one of the three of the royal guard’s chuckled, “You did think it was going to be that easy did you?” he said smiling, I smiled back“You know for a minute there, yeah I kinda did.” “Silly human” “Trix are for” “Foals”, a second passed as the castle doors open as dozens of royal troops came out and others from behind me. Fighting for my mom’s protection for the good of all Equestria, only to one day fall dead on the floor “Never again” *I thought to myself, there must be more in life then putting my life in risk all the time, which I remember what Mr. Hooverton told me back at the tree** “by the time she's a full grown mare I want to her hold one of your albums.”* as I was remembering whatMr. Hooverton had told me, I walked in the throat room, seeing my mom look out the window I sat down on the steps where my mother's throne led to as I made my back straight as I feel myself patching my back, and my leg. I sighed as I lay my sword next to me strapping my hair in a scrunchy as I put my hands on on my face thinking about what had just happened. I honestly don't k of how long I can take it, I've been to war and back throughout my entire life and I feel like each time I fight those guards I need a different life something that won't led me to get brutally murdered, maybe find my own way around here, make some friends but then again who would be friends with a human. “What are you thinking about sweetie?” *I felt my head up to see my mom standing fight in front of me as I stood up.** “Nothing mom, just……….never mind.” I said with a, as my mom moves her head down as she nuzzles my cheek. “You been my son since you were a kid and I know that something is wrong.” “Well….. I feel……..really lonely.” I said as I feel a tear fall down my face, as I dropped my head. It true throughout my life I felt really alone, sure I had my mom but she wouldn't be there at times so I felt alone and sad all the time. She nuzzles me again as I wipe my face to get rid of my tears looking up to my mom “I understand how you feel, but what can you do I mean what with what happened with your father leaving us, Cadence leaving to live with her friends back in Manehattan, me taking care of Canterlot, and what happened with Lu-” “Don't, don't say her name I know what happened to her.” I said as I see her eyes full of tears I walk up to her as I hug my mom tightly, “I…...I didn't think you would remember.” “How couldn't I?” I said as she looks at me as my face is full of tears “I was the one who did it, how do you think I feel every time I pass by her room, every time I see the moon it reminds me of what I did to her!”* I said as my mom looks at me in shock, I just walk out of the room as I continue my sorrow of sadness in my room, laying on my bed as I dig my face in my pillow.~30 minutes later~I sit on my bed as I write down some more lyrics on my journal as I look out the window, seeing the moon in the distance as I see a figure of Luna it. I sighed as I continue writing my feelings in lyric form I then see a bit of light coming from my bedroom door I look and saw my mom standing there looking at me, “What are you up too?” *she asked trying to smile I smiled back and got up for a quick stretch looking at her as I walked towards her bring her into an embrace as she wraps her neck around me I pulled back as look at her my eyes sorta sleepy.** “Nothing much, just writing down some lyrics in my song book…...well one of any books I have.”* I said as I see her horn light up, my songbook as she looks through the pages of the book. “These are all yours?” “Yeah, and that's just one book.” *I said with a smile, she just looked at me in shock as she continues flipping through the book** “Would you mind…….sing me one?” She asked smiling, I felt shocked, I mean my mom wanting to hear me sing, I mean sure I've been wanting to do that for years now but now I don't know anymore, I was about to deny but I saw how excited she looked so I figured why not. “Um…..I think I have one number I've been writing here but I need a piano.” I said a little bit nervously, she smiles as she magically teleport a piano in my room, I looked at it as I felt a little nervous singing in front of my mom, I had never sang in front of anypony, lead alone in front of my mom, but I was absurd by my mom when I looked back at her as she gave me a reassuring smile “It's okay, I wouldn't judge you, besides I've never heard you sing before.” she said giving me another reassuring smile, I smiled back as I inhaled and exhaled to calm myself down as I walk towards and sit near the piano. Being abandoned by my father and Cadence, what had happened to Luna I just, felt that maybe I wasn't meant to be here (obviously) but…….for some reason…..I am, but why, why me, why out of all the other humans my mom talks about in the other universe, why me? I was soon brought back to reality when I felt a soft feeling in my neck, turning my head around I see her sitting behind me with a smile and tears falling down her face, I knew that she loved it because I knew the type of smiles she had when she loved things, like a mother when she hears your child talk or walk for the first time.* “I *sniff* I really loved it.” she said smiling, I smiled back at her* “You, you really do?” “Yes, but why would you hide this…..talent from anypony?” “Well…..I wanted to sing to you when it was mother's day, but I couldn't, I didn't have the courage to sing in front of my mom or anypony for that matter because I was afraid I was going to……...humiliate you.” I said looking away from her, as funny as it sounds very time mom has ether friends or busses stallions and mares I would hide in my room’s closet. I don't know it's just something I “have” to do I can't really explain it. I felt my mom’s neck wrapped around my neck, even though I was the same height as her for some reason she could still wrap her neck around me, weird huh? As felt her neck rubbing against my neck I started scratching her behind the ear, as I see her smiling I smile back at her. “You I would never be ashamed of you, even though you're not the same species as us, you're still my son and I love you.” *she said with a smile*** “I love you too mom.”I said smiling “And now that you are telling this I've been thinking.” “Thinking about what mom?” *I asked** “Well, since the Summer Sun Celebration is coming up I was thinking you could sing for the celebration.” She said smiling, I just sat there a little bit nervously “I don't know” “Please, it isn't often that we get a song after seeing your mother ease the sun for all ponies to see, and maybe make some friends along the way.” she said, I still felt a bit nervous about me singing in front of a lot of ponies, especially at a celebration, but looking at my mom’s excitement I knew I had to give it a try, after all if I'm going to be making music later on in my life a celebration is a start. “Yeah, okay I'll give it a try.” I said with confidence in my voice, my mom now jumping with excitement as she hugs me tightly I chuckle as I hug her back. As she let's go I felt her warmth all over my body. “I'm so excited to see you up there we’ll leave first thing tomorrow.” “Okay” “But in the meantime, two mares have been wanting to see you.” “Huhr?” “Look behind you.” “What am I look atatatatat oh my…”I said after looking behind me see both…. “Blue Blazer, Starspitter, how how how how..” I said stuttering on the word “how” as all three of them giggle uncomfortable “Well you know me, bring ponies back to life, and they do owe for giving them a fun first day on the Royal Guard.” “Yes we do.” they both say with bedroom eyes as I look at them and back at my mom. “Wellhavefunbye.” before I could say anything she disappeared magically as I look at them Blue Blazer and Starspitter. “You two are not going to try too kill me again, now are you?” I said jokingly, they both giggles as they walk towards and sit next to me. “Not this time around.” Blue Blazer responded as she looks closer to me as she places her lips on my neck giving me butterfly kisses, I shutter in pleasure as I don't notice Starspitter leaning her head towards my left ear and whispers “But tonight we are going to rock your world.”*
