Prologue
Chapter 0: Prologue
Many years ago on the world of Azeroth. Two factions of the Alliance and Horde have started their ever constant war once more. As heroes from both factions faced many dangers that threatened the planet, like the Old God, C’Thun. The Old Gods were once powerful eldritch beings serving the Void Lords. Masters of the shadows and insanity.
The heroes then were called to the Dark Portal, which was closed during the second Orcish Horde invasion of Azeroth. The Alliance forces led by Turalyon and Alleria Windrunner entered the Dark Portal to the planet called Draenor. However the Orc Ner’zhul destroyed the planet with many portals. His superior in the Burning Legion, Kil’Jaeden ripped out Ner’zhul’s soul, tortured it and placed it into a suit of armor. Ner’zhul was now called the Lich King.
The heroes of Azeroth went to the now called Outland. To find and defeat a night elf known as Illidan Stormrage. Also know as the Betrayer. The heroes of the Alliance and Horde worked with a broken Draenei named Akama and a Night Elf Warden named Maiev Shadowsong. Together they brought the Betrayer.
After that armies of the undead, called the Scourge attacked the nation of Lordaeron. Prince Arthas Menethil, a noble paladin learned that the plague of undeath was being spread through bags of grain. He slayed his own people and vowed vengeance against the Dreadlord Mal’Ganis. Arthas traveled to Northrend, and he put on the armor of the Lich King. Along with his weapon called Frostmourne. Arthas became the new Lich King.
Once again the armies of the undead arrived to fight the living. The time was right to seek justice for all of those Arthas killed. A war was brought onto the shores of Northrend. Led by paladin, Highlord Tirion Fordring, and Death Knight Darion Mograine. The heroes stormed Icecrown Citadel, and stopped Arthas for good. However there must always be a Lich King. So former friend of King Varian Wrynn of Stormwind, Bolvar Fordragon took the place of Arthas.
After the war in Northrend, the elemental spirits warned the shaman, and Warchief of the Horde, Thrall. That a terrible danger is coming. At the same time King Magni Bronzebeard of the Dwarves tried to use a ritual to communicate with Azeroth. It turned him into a diamond statue.
With Thrall leaving the Horde in the hands of his apprentice, Garrosh Hellscream, Thrall went to Nagrand in Outland to find out what was going on. Everyone learned that it was the return of the Black Dragonflight Aspect, Deathwing, that was responsible. Deathwing’s return caused the Cataclysm. An event that resulted in Azeroth being changed forever. Again the heroes were called on to save Azeroth in it’s dark hour.
After the Cataclysm, Garrosh declared war on the Alliance. He started a campaign of removing the Alliance from the continent Kalimdor. This included destroying the city of Theramore, ruled by mage Jaina Proudmoore. As a result Jaina tried to destroy the city of Orgrimmar in an attempt for revenge. Finally the Prince of Stormwind, Anduin Wrynn, went missing on a new continent south. A place covered by mists for thousands of years. The war finally came to a head when Garrosh sought out the heart of a Old God in Pandaria. This led to a rebellion by Darkspear troll leader Vol’Jin, and the Alliance to take Garrosh down. Garrosh was arrested and tried in Pandaria.
Despite the verdict being to allow Garrosh to live. Garrosh still escaped and went back into time to the time that the Orcish Horde drank the demon blood and became slaves to the Burning Legion. He formed the Iron Horde to seek revenge on Azeroth. However his forces were losing, and Thrall battled Garrosh to the death. With Garrosh losing, and Thrall breaking the rules of Makura. The alternate Draenor Gul’dan soon took control of the Iron Horde and made them into the Fel Horde. The heroes of Azeroth joined in an invasion of Hellfire Citadel. Gul’dan called one of the Generals of the Legion, Archimonde. After Archimonde’s defeat, Archimonde sent Gul’dan through the Dark Portal to an unknown location.
This location was the main Azeroth. Gul’dan found the encased body of Illidan Stormrage. He even went to the Tomb of Sargeras and successfully summoned the Burning Legion to Azeroth. The only hope for Azeroth is to find all five Pillars of Creation, before the Legion does. This is where our story begins…
On the planet of Equus. Ponykind is in a war of survival, with the Pulsar Militia. A army that wants only bipedal races to live in the universe. During their war, the Burning Legion attacked both sides. Many lives were lost on both sides, and the Pulsar was almost wiped out. Both sides learned about who attacked them and where they were found, on Azeroth. Both sides sending forces to Azeroth to fight the Burning Legion. With the Burning Legion fighting a war on two fronts now. It looks the end is in sight. First however, the Pulsar and United Equus must choose a faction, either the Alliance and Horde.
