Pinkie Pie was in Sugarcube Corner serving customers. While serving ponies treats Rarity came up to her. Pinkie Pie giggled as she saw Rarity. Rarity smiled at Pinkie Pie and Pinkie Pie smiled at Rarity as well. Rarity approached the counter and spoke to Pinkie Pie.
"One chocolate cupcake please." Rarity said. Pinkie Pie nodded as she got a cupcake out of the oven and put chocolate frosting on it. She then put it in a bag and served it to Rarity. Rarity paid Pinkie Pie and put her cupcake bag into her bag. She then spoke to Pinkie Pie.
"Want to do something later after your done working?" Rarity asked Pinkie Pie in hopes of being able to see her after she got off of her shift at work. Pinkie Pie giggled and nodded. Rarity left Sugarcube Corner and Pinkie Pie continued to serve customers.
Pinkie Pie wondered what Rarity wanted to do. She tried to think of places to take Rarity that Rarity would enjoy. She could take Rarity to a dress material shop or a tea shop. She dint know. She wondered if Rarity wanted to take her someplace. Soon she finished her shift and went to Carousal Boutique.
When she got there she went up to Rarity's door and knocked on it. Rarity opened the door and stepped aside to allow Pinkie Pie to walk into Rarity's place. Rarity closed her door and turned to Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie spoke to Rarity while Rarity listened to Pinkie Pie.
"Let's just hang out at a park or something. We need the exercise anyway so that can be fun. Come on!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. Rarity smiled and they both left Carousal Boutique and walked to a nearby park. When they got their Pinkie Pie enjoyed the slide and everything else there. Rarity sat down as she watched Pinkie Pie.
Rarity smiled as she watched Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie giggled as she enjoyed the park. At first thought Rarity would never do anything that childish but as she watched Pinkie Pie more she decided to forget her troubles and join Pinkie Pie. She raced over to her. Pinkie Pie was surprised that Rarity would want to do stuff like this but shrugged it off.
Rarity and Pinkie Pie went down the slide together several times as they laughed. Rarity and Pinkie Pie forgot all of the drama in their lives and acted carefree again. There wasn't work, or saving Equestria or making sure to act like adults there was just them in a park together.
They also played tag which they had a lot of fun with as they were able to catch eachother several times. They went back and forth just chasing and tagging eachother. Pinkie Pie won the game of coarse but Rarity didn't care as she was just glad that she could get away from work and have fun with Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie Pie was glad that Rarity was having fun with her. She knew that Rarity needed to get away from work but she also needed to have fun herself as she never got time to do that but now she was having time to do just that. They didn't care what anypony thought of them.
They both put out a blanket and laid down on it to take a break. Rarity and Pinkie Pie watched the clouds silently. Rarity smiled as she watched the clouds with Pinkie Pie. She loved this so much. At first she was embarrassed to admit that but she was glad that she loved it. She decided to tell Pinkie Pie.
"I love this Pinkie Pie. I've never had so much fun in my life. After years of thinking that fun was uncouth you changed my entire mind on it. Thank you for taking me here Pinkie Pie." Rarity stated smiling.
"Your welcome Rarity. I'm glad that you had fun here. I know I did. You just need to learn to let go and have fun you know?" Pinkie Pie said.
"Can we do this more often?" Rarity said laughing. Pinkie Pie giggled as she responded to Rarity.
"Sure we can." Pinkie Pie said. They both gossiped about the news in town and about what they heard about famous ponies or what they heard about regular citizens in Ponyville as they both relaxed. Pinkie Pie grinned as she got a mischievous idea. She silently poked Rarity and Rarity laughed.
"Oh is that how you want to act huh?!" Rarity said getting up. Pinkie Pie giggled as Rarity pounced her and and began tickling her. Pinkie Pie squealed in laughter as Rarity giggled while tickling her friend. Pinkie Pie squirmed on the blanket and tried to get away but Rarity held her down as she tickled her.
"Take this!" Rarity exclaimed as she tickled her friend. Pinkie Pie continued to giggle making Rarity want to tickle more. Rarity grinned at her friend. Pinkie Pie tried to squirm away but it was no use as Rarity tickled away getting Pinkie Pie's sides and stomach.
Pinkie Pie was giggling franticly. Rarity raised an eyebrow as she grinned at Pinkie Pie while tickling her. Pinkie Pie tried to get up but was held down by Rarity as she was tickled without mercy. Rarity giggled at her adorable friend. She tickled faster and blew a raspberry on her friend's stomach. Pinkie Pie squealed in laughter.
Rarity tickled her best friend mercilessly as she didn't hold anyone back while giving Pinkie Pie the worst tickling of hr life. Pinkie Pie absolutely enjoyed it as she giggled with joy. Soon Rarity stopped and cuddled with Pinkie Pie as they laid on the blanket in silence together.
Rarity held Pinkie Pie in a loving embrace as Pinkie Pie and Rarity relaxed. Rarity kissed Pinkie Pie on the cheek as they cuddled. They were so comfortable as they both enjoyed it. Soon they both got up and decided to have a race. Pinkie Pie won of coarse but Rarity didn't mind as she just enjoyed spending time with her friend.
Rarity and Pinkie Pie continued to cuddle with eachother. They both closed their eyes as they rested on the blanket alone with eachother. Rarity and Pinkie Pie breathed calmly as they relaxed from playing in the park. Soon they both decided to go home.
They both got up and packed up their stuff and headed back to Pinkie Pie's place. They soon got to her place and Pinkie Pie and Rarity turned to look at eachother. They both spoke.
"Thanks Rarity I had fun. Let's do that again sometime." Pinkie Pie said. Rarity thought that was a great idea and responded.
"Your welcome. We will." Rarity said. They both hugged eachother and Pinkie Pie went inside her place while Rarity walked to her home. She got home and went inside as she was happy from having a good day.
