The creature jumps out of the water and lands five feet away from where I lied. The creature also happens to be floating, which is another bizarre ability for this thing to have.
The creature floats toward me with a look of surprise, making it drop its mouth. I couldn't hold out my screams any longer, as my mouth opens to let out a yell for help, but are then silenced, as the creature places one of its hooves on my mouth.
"Calm down," it said in a calm and feminine voice. "I know you're scared, but don't worry, I will not hurt you."

"Are you going to eat me?" I asked, making the creature roll its eyes.
