Chapter One
Pinkie smiled as she bounced through the forest on her way to Fluttershys house. She looked around, blinking her bright blue eyes. The pink mare slowed, coming to a stop as she heard a twig snap.
"Hello?" she called out, flicking her ear. She shook her head. "I wonder what that was.." She trailed off, scuffing the dirt with her hoof. "I must be imagining things." She said softly, trotting slowly on the dirt path.
The mare shivered softly, a cool breeze ruffling her light pink fur. She blinked once more, exhaling slowly as she looked around.

Pinkie Pie yawned softly, heading up the stairs and into her room. She smiled as she saw Gummy.
"Hey Gummy!" She said, petting his back. She made her way to the bathroom, changing into her pajamas and brushing her teeth. The mare began to brush her curly pink mane, then got into bed.
Pinkie grabbed a book off her bedside table, opening it. She began to read.
After a while she stopped, putting a bookmark in place and tuning out the light.
