Rainbow Dash solemnly patted her on the head and walked out of the cleaning closet. Scootaloo curled up on the cold, dank floor, sniffling as she tried to hold back the well of tears trying to pour through like the California dam. The darkness started to close around her, swelling her very soul with fear and fear itself. A silent call in the night reached out to he- BAM! Rainbow Dash and all of the orphans of the orphanage burst into the small filly’s room. Bits of party paper filled the air as they roared in celebrations! “Stop being so sad squirt!” Rainbow Dash cheered. Scootaloo sprang up to her feet, her back arched like a very mad cat. “How can you make fun of me like this!? I thought we were sisters!” The cheering died down, the fillies and the lone Ponaranian migrant quieted down to watch the events unfold. Rainbow Dash dropped her smile and padded towards Scootaloo very very softly. “Scootaloo… you’re right. We aren’t sisters…” A new wave of tears threatened to straight out of Scoot’s eyes. That was, until Rainbow Dash pulled out an adoption certificate from behind her back. “I’m you’re new mother!” This time, Scootaloo didn’t try to hold back her tears as she sprung forward onto Dashie’s big huge cute face. (in comparison to Scootaloo). The two of them left the orphanage, very happy with their newfound happiness and joy. Rainbow Dash let Scootaloo jump onto her back and then took off into the night sky. The two of them flew through the stars, enjoying the blissful moment shared by mother and by daughter. In all of her life times, Scootaloo never thought she would ever be so lucky to have such a cool mom such as Rainbow Dash. She’d been praying to Celestia and also praying to Luna for this very moment for the past twenty years of her life, only for it to finally come true on her nineteenth birthday! The two of them laughed, they cried, they simply lived in that beautiful night sky. Nothing can stop them now, no winds, no governments, no schools, no teachers, no straits, no traits, no evil baby sisters, and no vickys. (Several hours later) Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash finally arrived back to Rainbow Dash’s awesome flying cloud home. Scootaloo was a bit wary of stepping on the clouds as she had never ever been up on somewhere such as Cloudsdale before. It was huge and daunting compared to her little cleaning closet back in the Ponyville orphanage for discredited and miserable foals. It wasn’t too bad there, she got to eat her daily share of crackers and juice, but a pony can only enjoy so many crackers before the fiber started getting to their tummy, giving them tummy aches. Scootaloo jumped around Rainbow Dash, happy and as joyful as can be, as Rainbow Dash unlocked the door to her cloud house. Scootaloo accidentally slipped and ended up with her head sticking through part of the cloud wall, making her laugh as Rainbow Dash pulled her out, cradling her really closely. “Better watch out, squirt. Now I have someone for you to meet.” Scootaloo’s back legs dangled in the air wildly as her forelegs raked at the empty air in front of her. “Who? Who is it!?” She happily asked, wondering if maybe Rainbow Dash also got her a new dad while she was gone. Rainbow Dash continued to carry her throughout her giant cloud mansion. The mansion was huge, the room towered far above them, seemingly almost daunting if it hadn’t been for the fact that Scootaloo knew that this house was her brand new home. All hers! Eventually, Rainbow Dash reached the stairs, climbing up them until she reached the very tippy top on the second story of her house. She entered the master bedroom. Scootaloo peered inside as they walked into the room. Sitting on the edge of the master bedroom’s bed sat a light blue pony with blue hair of a darker hue. His hair was stroked back very aerodynamically. He gave her a huge smile as he spotted the two of them enter the room. “Hey’a guys!” He said. He shifted his body on the bed until his lower legs were dangling off and he was sitting up on the side of the bed. Pointing at the two of them he said, “This must be the filly you’ve been telling me all about, Rainbow Dash!” Rainbow Dash smiled back at him before she finally responded, “Yeah, she’s fresh from the orphanage. They had been treating her very kindly there.” The pony on the bed shot Scootaloo a wide grin before turning back to Rainbow Dash, “She looks a bit scrawny. I wonder what they feed them at the orphanage.” Rainbow Dash chuckled before patting Scootaloo on the head. Scootaloo nudged into the pats, enjoying the new simple comforts of life. Rainbow Dash turned back to the pony, “Probably a mix of slop,” she patted Scoots on the head again before continuing, “Don’t worry, Scoots, we’ll get you all stuffed up.” She used a hoof to point at the pony on the bed as she held Scootaloo in the other one. “Now, Scootaloo, it’s time for you to meet Uncle Soarin, he’ll be visiting us often as he sometimes gets quite lonely after leaving his family back in Sibearia to join the Wonderbolts.” She carried Scoots over to Uncle Soarin, who graciously accepted the young filly into his lap. Scootaloo leaned back against the stallion as he wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled the back of her head. “Don’t worry, Scoots, we’ll all be one big, happy family here.” Scootaloo giggled and nuzzled back as Rainbow Dash started to leave the room. Rainbow Dash turned around and waved to Scoots, “I’m going to go get dinner started, have fun!” Rainbow Dash sighed a breath of joy as she closed the door, smiling back at it, she was very happy. She couldn’t wait to join the Wonderbolts!
