Painting

Rarity was laying in her bed looking at dress designs in a book. While she was doing this Sweetie Belle entered her room and knocked on Rarity's door. Rarity looked over at Sweetie Belle as she was surprised by Sweetie Belle's interruption. She was glad that Sweetie Belle knocked on the door instead of barging in. She then spoke to Sweetie Belle.

"What's the matter Sweetie Belle? I don't need you to help with anything. You don't have any school. Do you need to be fed because if you do then I'm sorry that I forgot about feeding you." Rarity told her as she also apologized to Sweetie Belle if she didn't feed her. Sweetie Belle shook her head and spoke to Rarity.

"I just want to do something with you. You don't seem that busy and plus it would be good to just bond over something." Sweetie Belle said gently. Rarity thought for a minute and before she started getting annoyed she stopped herself and realized that she could bond with her sister as she knew how much she loved her sister. Plus she didn't have anything better to do. Rarity smiled as she agreed to do something.

"Sure thing Sweetie Belle! What would you like to do? It's your choice. I'll do anything with you." Rarity said as she didn't mind anything that Sweetie Belle would want to do. Sweetie Belle knew exactly what she wanted to do as she had did it along time ago when she was younger but she didn't know if Rarity participate in the activity with her and have fun while doing so. She then spoke about her idea to Rarity.

"This may seem like a silly idea but...I was thinking, since your not doing anything do you want to...footprint paint?" Sweetie Belle asked honestly. She knew how Rarity would react. She would feel unhappy if Rarity refused as it seemed really childish. Sweetie Belle knew that it was to childish but she wanted to do something with art.

Rarity thought about it for a bit more and decided to do it. She didn't want to refuse to do anything with her sister as she would feel bad about herself if she hurt her sisters feelings. She also knew that she needed a break from work as well so this might distract her. She did know that she would have to use one of her big sheets of paper.

She didn't mind as she had a bunch of paper that size and plus she had enough non toxic paint stored in her storage that can last for a few years so she agreed to do it. Plus she thought that it sounded fun. She smiled at Sweetie Belle and then responded to Sweetie Belle's request to footprint paint with her.

"Sure we can! I have safe paint in a storage area, The room is big enough for a canvas so it does sound fun, Let's do it." Rarity said. Sweetie Belle squealed happily and Rarity sat up and chuckled. She went inside her storage and looked around inside. She still had a large piece of canvas to paint on so she took it out and carefully laid it out on the floor. They surprisingly had enough room in the Boutique to paint.

Rarity took out some paint and brought it over to the canvas and sat by Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle sat by Rarity. Rarity removed her heels and put them up in a safe place. Sweetie Belle giggled as she removed her heels as they both went barefoot. Both Rarity and Sweetie Belle loved going barefoot so this was a great thing to do.

"What paint do you want to start out with?" Rarity asked Sweetie Belle as she decided that Sweetie Belle could choose. Sweetie Belle looked at the paint and then looked at Rarity. She thought about it for a while and then she decided to just pick any random random color to start with. She shrugged while smiling and responded to Rarity.

"Any color is fine!" Sweetie Belle said in a cheerful voice as she didnt mind what paint they used as long as they had fun together. Any paint wouldn't matter to her. She just wanted to have fun as she footprint painted with her big sister.

Rarity grinned at Sweetie Belle's answer and she picked up a paint brush and dipped the paintbrush into some red paint. She giggled as she took Sweetie Belle's ankle. Sweetie Belle smiled as she watched Rarity. Her eyes widened as she knew that it was going to tickle. She prepared herself for the ticklish sensations.

"Ready hon?" She asked smiling slyly. Sweetie Belle giggled and nodded as she braced herself because she knew that it would tickle. Rarity nodded and painted Sweetie Belle's right foot. Sweetie Belle burst forth adorable giggles which made Rarity chuckle. Sweetie Belle's foot wiggled around as Rarity held it while she painted.

She stopped and gave Sweetie Belle a break. She washed the paint off the brush and then dipped the paintbrush into blue paint and painted Sweetie Belle's other foot which caused Sweetie Belle to continue to squirm and laugh in Rarity's grasp. Rarity chuckled.

"Hold still!" Rarity warned playfully. Sweetie Belle continued to laugh and squirm as her other foot was painted. She finished and told Sweetie Belle to wait and then she rinsed the paint off the brush and painted her right foot purple and her left foot orange. She smiled as she looked at her feet while she painted them.

She finished painting her feet and they both stood up on the canvas and Sweetie Belle danced all over the paper as she footprinted the paper. Rarity watched her sister playing in a carefree spirit. She felt so happy as she watched her beloved sister have fun. Rarity chuckled and walked all over the paper. They both giggled.

Sweetie Belle jumped and danced all over the canvas as Rarity smiled. Rarity didn't know how much fun she was going to have at first but now that she was footprint painting all over the paper she felt that it was absolutely a blast. She snickered and Sweetie Belle giggled while the painted the canvas with their foot prints.

Soon they both sat down and washed their feet. Sweetie Belle giggled as she washed her feet and toes as Rarity smiled while washing hers. They then dried their feet. Rarity then asked Sweetie Belle her paint choice.

"What would you like to paint with next?" Rarity asked Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle giggled childishly and thought about what paint to choose next she then decided to just go with any color randomly and then she spoke to her sister.

"I don't mind any color!" Sweetie Belle said as she reminded Rarity of what she said to her earlier. Rarity looked at the paints and dipped the brush in the the purple and then painted Sweetie Belle's feet and then dipped it again in the pink and painted Sweetie Belles feet. Rarity picked brown and red and then painted her feet and they both danced on the paper.

They kept bursting into laughter as they had to much fun. Rarity realized how childish they were looking but she didn't mind it as she was having really fun with her little sister. They both raced eachother and and danced while painting the paper with their feet.

They both painted their feet other colors while mixing them up. They painted their feet while choosing colors randomly while switching between different colors. They both chose the next paints and Rarity painted her feet while she painted Sweetie Belle's and they both continued to paint the canvas.

Soon the canvas grew in color with, green and purple and Pink and many other colors. They also mixed colors to make more. They both danced and even chased eachother playfully as they painted the canvas. They both laughed throughout the moment of them painting the canvas.

Time passed as they painted with their feet and printed all over the paper. Their foot prints stood out clearly all over the paper. They made sure not to overlap any prints so they printed paints with a few space between the prints. They were laughing hysterically.

Rarity realized that anybody could walk into their boutique and catch Rarity doing something childish but she didn't worry about it as she could always tell them that she was closed for that moment. She didn't care about what they would say. They both continued to fill up the canvas as they chose different paint after every printing.

Rarity and Sweetie Belle had a blast as they danced with eachother while they added color to the canvas. Sweetie Belle was laughing herself silly while Rarity also laughed at what they we're doing. Their giggles reached outside as people wandered past the boutique and thought about what could be happening.

They both danced and jumped all over the canvas as they had so much fun. They couldn't hold in their laughter as they danced and giggled. Rarity and Sweetie Belle realized that they had never had so much fun as they were having at that single moment. Sweetie Belle spoke to Rarity.

"Can we do this more from time to time?" She asked. Rarity giggled and answered Sweetie Belle as they danced around on the canvas. Rarity was having so much fun and so was Sweetie Belle.

"Sure Sweetie Belle I would love that, I'm having a lot of fun!" She told Sweetie Belle as they both danced around. Sweetie Belle cheered as she jumped and danced. Rarity laughed at Sweetie Belle's enthusiasm. They both stopped and cleaned off their feet and painted their feet other colors and then continued to dance all over the paper.

Soon the canvas was all filled up. They both stopped and sat down while they cleaned off their feet. They then took the paper and hung it up to dry and hugged eachother.

"Thanks so much Rarity!" Sweetie Belle said as they hugged eachother. Rarity looked at Sweetie Belle and spoke.

"Your welcome honey, I loved painting with you." Rarity said. She kissed Sweetie Belles forehead. They both dried their feet from the water that they cleaned their feet with.

They both relaxed on the couch as they looked at the drying canvas. They decided to keep it for memories. They both snuggled and Rarity kissed Sweetie Belle on the forehead as they relaxed.

"Did you have fun Rarity?" Sweetie Belle asked her sister. Rarity smiled and responded.

"Yes. I had fun." She told her sister as they snuggled and talked for the rest of the day as they were both happy that they foot print painted a canvas together.
