Prolouge "Hello, you want to know about me? Well, I'll tell you about me from where I was from to now. I was born in a family that cared for my brothers and sisters but I was the odd one out. My brothers and sisters were the ones to get everything in the house food, tv, beds, and even the bathroom. I was the last to get everything the last amount of food, having 5 minutes of tv, going to bed in a sleeping bag, and wait for minutes or more for a turn in the bathroom. And when it came to school, they got C's and D's but I got A's and B's which could have been good if my parents noticed. It was when I just turned 18 is when I thought 'I'm done with this family I'm getting out of here.' So I packed some things I needed a phone, some money, water, and food. Oh and the money was from my brothers and sisters wallets and purses. So when everyone was asleep, I snuck out and ran to go to the bus stop and catch a ride to anywhere but where my family was. Then I ended up at a place called 'Canterlot High School' and that's when my new life started for me... Danto Ettore." Chapter 1: New StudentAuthor's Note First Chapter. Not to shabby to me, Enjoy and send some feedback if you want. Chapter 1: New Student "Well, this is the school." Danto said as he got off of the bus, "Let's get the year over with, get a good job, and live my life." he started walking through the yard, getting ready to enroll in the school. "Heads up!" "What?" Danto saw a ball coming right for him. "Woah!" he said as he ducked under the ball. "You okay?" "Yeah." "Sorry I was trying to get the goal but I guess I overpowered it a tiny bit." "More like a lot but..." he said walking toward the soccer ball and picking it up, "That was a good kick." he tossed it to the kicker as they caught it. "Really?" "Yeah." "Well, names Rainbow Dash." "Danto Ettore. I'm new here." "Really?" "Yeah." "Where did you come from?" Danto had a slightly pause. "I don't really talk about it, you know?" "Oh I see. Well, come on. Since you here, let me show you around." Later after the tour... "That's basically what this school has." "Nice." "Hey Rainbow!" said a joyful voice from a girl with REALLY poofy hair, well so Danto thought. "Hey Pinkie." "Hey Rainbow, who your new found friend?" "This is Danto." "Hey." Danto said taking a glance at the energetic girl's very poofy hair. "What's with your hair? "What this? It's been like this for my whole life." She said as she pulled a container of cupcakes out of her hair. "Want one?" Danto, although surprised by what she did, decided to take a cupcake from the box. "Thanks. How did you-" "Don't ask, that's Pinkie being Pinkie." Said Rainbow. "Yep." "Alright." *RRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGG* "Lunch already?" "Yep. Hey, maybe Danto would like to see the rest of our friends." "What do you think Danto?" "Sure, I got nothing that better to do." "Cool. Come on." Rainbow said as her, Pinkie, and Danto walked to the cafeteria. Later, they headed out of the lunch line with their food as they looked and found Rainbow's friends sitting at a table. "Hey, Rainbow. Who's your friend?" said a girl wearing a cowgirl hat. "This is Danto, he's new so I showed him around the school earlier." "Hey." "Howdy. Names Applejack, but you can call me AJ for short. I'm the owner of Sweet Apple Acres." "Nice." "My name is Rarity, I'm the owner of Rarity's Boutique." "That place with all those clothing and slightly fancy designs?" "Yes, how did you know?" "I heard some people talking about it when I was on my way here." "Nice to know that my store is still getting recognition." "I'm Sunset Shimmer." "Nothing else really? No past story or business or what not?" "She does have a past, but we choose not to talk about it." "Huh. Well, you're not the only one with a past that you don't want to talk about." "Thanks. That makes me feel a little better." "No problem." "I'm Fluttershy." The light pink haired girl murmured behind her hair. "What is your name?" "Fluttershy." She whispered again. "Rainbow?" "That's Fluttershy. She's...Shy." "Apparently." "So, what brings you here?" Rainbow asked. "Just being me, finding what I can do, you know how it goes." "Cool. What did your parents think when they send you here?" "What do you mean?" "Did they want you to be or do something you wanted to do?" Danto had a slight hesitation due to the fact that they didn't know what he's been through and him not wanting to tell them what happened in his life. "Danto?" Danto shook his head and came back to reality. "They just told me to be the best at what I'm looking for." "Cool." Later after they finished their lunch, they decided to head home for the day. But Danto didn't know what to do by the fact that he didn't have a home and didn't have enough money for one, so he decided to stay in Rainbow's or one of her friends home until otherwise. Chapter 3: Reunited"Hey I just remembered. Me and the girls are working on posters in the gym, wanna help?" "Sure." "Awesome, let's head there now." When they entered the school and started walking to the gym, Danto thought he saw someone he knew walk around a corner. "What is it?" Rainbow asked being concerned that Danto looked away in a different direction since she's never seen him to this before yesterday. "Nothing, I just thought a friend of mine was here." "Who?" Danto sighed because this was one of the happy memories of his past other than his parents. "His name is Aldon, Aldon Gregario. He was my friend at my last school before he left because he had to move. I haven't seen him in a few years ever since. I think I'm just seeing things." "Well, let's keep going. We don't wanna keep our friends waiting." "Right." As they both entered the gym, they saw Rainbow's friend making the poster. "Hey guys." "Hey Rainbow, Hey Danto." "Hey. So what are you, or maybe we, doing here?" "We're making posters for our after school programs." "Cool." Danto saw Sunset trying to help 3 girls with a poster and saw that they didn't really need her help. "Sunset Shimmer Over Here!!!" Pinkie Shouted and waving her arm to Sunset on the other side of the gym. As Sunset started walking toward her friend, Danto heard people saying her name and giving looks of disappointment and with a touch of anger. Sunset groaned, "I had no idea the whole school would be here." Danto thought, 'What could she have done that caused this?' Pinkie and Rarity looked at each other and pick up the poster that they were working on. "What a eye-catching advertisement, if I do say so myself." Rarity said. "And it smells cake!" Pinkie said being happy as Danto could tell she is one for sugar based foods. "It does?" Fluttershy then tried to smell the poster and had her eyes closed. Pinkie walked to her and put the poster on her face and as she took it of Fluttershy had some frosting and what looked to be sprinkles on her face. "I used frosting instead of paste." "Uh Fluttershy, you got a little somthin', uh..." Fluttershy wiped her cheek to get some of the sprinkles off, "Did I get it?" "Heh, Not exactly" Sunset turned Fluttershy toward her and got a small towel and wiped her face from the stuff from the poster. Danto chuckled quietly from what happened. "Good afternoon Students!" a voice announced from the hall. "I just wanted to tell you all that I am pleased that so many of you are going to participate in the first ever Canterlot High School Musical Showcase." she announced as the student cheered for what is going to happen tomorrow. Danto tapped Rainbow's shoulder. "What the Musical Showcase?" "It's just a competition that helps us raise money for the after school programs." "Oh." Danto said nodding and getting the idea of what it is. "This is a wonderful opportunity to raise money for our after school programs here at CHS," "I guess you didn't need to explain it a second ago." Danto said letting out a chuckle. "Yeah, I guess I didn't have to." Rainbow said chuckling as well. "So keep working on those signs and poster. I think this is going to be one of the most exciting events here at CHS, since the Fall Formal." Danto noticed that people started giving glares at Sunset as she was embarrassed and sat down with her head in her arms. 'What happened during the Fall Formal?' Later on, Rainbow and her friends were heading to the band room to practice when Danto noticed someone that looked like Aldon. Danto stopped and took a closer look, "Is that..." Danto walked closer to the person and did something Rainbow was surprised he got a response from it... "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck would chuck wood if he would know how to chuck wood if he would chuck wood?" "Well, the woodchuck would chuck wood. But he would not chuck wood because if he would chuck wood the woodchuck would chuck wood incorrectly. Why do you..." He stopped and recognized the voice that asked that "Wait, say the original." "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck would chuck wood?" He then turn around quickly and recognized who was asking him that. "Danto?!" "Aldon?" "Hey!" Aldon shouted giving Danto a big hug and lifting him off of the ground. "It's been forever since I seen you man!" He said putting Danto down. "How've you been?" "Well, despite the fact my back might be slightly rearranged, I'd say I've been good." "That's great. How did you even get here?" "Let's save that for later. Anyway, How have you been?" "I've been great, this school has everything I could ask for. I was thinking of visiting you, but it looks like it's the other way around." He said chuckling. "Yep." Danto said laughing slightly. Rainbow tapped Danto shoulder, "Danto?" Danto turned around. "Hmm?" "Are you going to introduce us to your friend here?" "Oh. Everyone this is Aldon, Aldon Gregario." "Hey." "He was a friend of mine at my last school, but he had to moved so we haven't each other since." "Yeah, It's great seeing you here man." "Thanks, now to have it the other way around for a minute." Danto walked to Rainbow and started introducing each of her friends, "This is Rainbow Dash or Rainbow for short." "Nice to meet you." "Same here." Danto walked to Rarity. "This is Rarity, owner of Rarity's Boutique." "Oh, you're the owner of that store." "That's right Darling. It is a pleasure to meet you." "The pleasure is all mine." Danto walked to Applejack, "This is Applejack or AJ for short." "Hey, aren't you one of the Apple family members?" "That's Right. Say, how did ya' know?" "Your name is like that farm uptown, Sweet Apple Acres." "I work there also." "Nice." Danto walked to Fluttershy, "This is Fluttershy." "H-Hello." "I see she stands by the name." "Yes, Yes she does." Fluttershy showed a small smile as Danto went to Pinkie. "This is Pinkie Pie. We just call her Pinkie." "Nice to meet-" Aldon was cut off by Pinkie shaking his hand vigorously and quickly. She was so excited, she even spoke quickly to a point where almost no on could hear her. "Its so nice to meet you, I mean everyone has to have a friend in their life. So you're Danto's very first friend?" She said and asked quickly as she let go of Aldon's hand which was still shaking. "Not first but," He spoke in a vibrating tone by his hand still shaking. Danto then held his arm so he can regain control from shaking. "Thanks. But I am one of his friends." "Cool!" Danto walked to the last person in line for the introduction. "And this is Sunset Shimmer." Aldon gave her a slight glare and forced himself to give a handshake. "Nice to meet you." He muttered. Sunset shook his hand and said "Nice to meet you too." in a slightly scared tone. "Okay, I'm done waiting. What happened at the Fall Formal? I need a explanation now!" Aldon sighed, "Are you sure you want to know?" "Yes please." "What happened there was-" "A accident I didn't intend to make." Sunset said cutting off Aldon. "What?" Aldon asked her in disbelief. "I was a bully that was basically ruling the school and was the winner of every Fall Formal there was. It was until a girl named Twilight Sparkle stopped me with herself and her friends, Rainbow, AJ, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie. I changed from then to now, but everyone is still upset about that and I don't know if they will drop it or not." "Wow. I didn't expect that for a story." "There's more to it. It's just... we won't explain it to you right now." "Aw man." "Sorry." "You really didn't mean any of that?" Aldon asked to be sure he can trust her. "No, that me isn't the me now. I hope you can forgive me." Aldon had his hand on his chin to think if he can trust her or not. He sighed and said, "Alright, I guess I can believe you." as he extended his hand to make it a agreement. Sunset was happy and hugged him because this is the first person that isn't her friends to forgive something she didn't intend to do. "Thank you." "No problem." Aldon said hugging her back. Rainbow cleared her throat, "Are we still heading to the band room or are we going to watch these two lovebirds hug some more?" Sunset and Aldon let go of each other and blushed from her saying that as Danto laughed at the idea. "Danto..." Aldon getting ready to do something. "Do you want your hair more messy than it is?" Danto then suddenly stopped laughing, "You wouldn't dare." "Try me." Danto then got the idea, "Okay, okay." "Alright," Rainbow said, "Let's go to the band room." Danto was going to go with them but was pulled back from Aldon, "You guys go ahead. I want to show Danto my friends here." "Alright, See you later Danto." Rainbow waving at him. "See ya." Chapter 4: New FriendsAs Aldon and Danto walked down the halls, Aldon pulled out a beanie that was a light blue color and put it on. Danto snickered, "Nice hat." "Oh, shut up." Aldon said as Danto chuckled. They both then entered a room where two people were experimenting with a jar of honey and some paste. "Let's see if combining to things that are sticky like these can be two times as sticky." said one with brown and blonde like hair "Let's get right to it." the other said with a yellow and light blue western looking jacket. Aldon cleared his throat. They both turned to the sound and saw Aldon with someone they didn't know. "Hey Aldon, Who's that? "This is a friend of mine before I met you two." "Hey." "Hey. Name's Elu, Elu Edmondo." Elu said giving Danto a handshake. "Nice to meet you. Could I call you El? Not being mean or anything." "Go on ahead, these two call me that all the time." "Ah." "Howdy. Name's Clemente, Clemente Orazio." "Your last name..." "Yeah, I know. So ya' new here?" "Yep. I was being introduced around by a girl named Rainbow Dash." "Wait, Rainbow Dash? The one with the hair like a rainbow or even Skittles possibly." He asked as Elu was laughing from the 'Skittles' name for Rainbow. "Yeah?" "She's cool, she's one of the few that stopped that Sunset Shimmer from ruling the school." "Yeah, I heard. Aldon explained. Oh and My name is Danto, Danto Ettore." "Nice to meet you." "So, what's going on here?" "We're experimentin' to see if you combinin' these two things that are sticky like this jar of honey and that tube of paste will make it twice as sticky." "Ooo. Nice thought." "I know, now let's try it." As they mix the honey with paste, Danto thought of Rainbow and what she was doing. He then was hearing music from the halls, 'What's that noise?' he thought. He walked to the door and opened it to hear the music being a little louder. "What's that music bein' played in them halls?" "It's probably people practicing in the band room." "Yeah, it's Rainbow and her friends practicing." "Skittles?" "Yeah... 'Skittles.'" Danto started walking to the band room being interest on what Rainbow and her friends are doing. "Hey, Danto." Danto turned around, "Aren't you going to stay here and watch this?" "I'll be back, I'll see the aftermath of that." "Alright." Danto started walking to the band room and as he got closer the music got louder and louder. As he reached the door he put his ear to listen to it before the reveal of something he wasn't ready to witness. "It's sounds... Beautiful." He then opened the door to see his friend having ears and pony tails at the end of their hair. He also took notice of Rainbow and Fluttershy having wings like a angel. "Woah." He walked inside and sat down on the floor to listen and watch as they practiced. When they finished playing, their ears and other appearances disappeared. Danto gave an applause even though what he witness was unbelievable. Rainbow notice and figured out he saw them with their addition features. "Danto!" "That..." "I didn't know you were gonna see that!" "Was..." "Please don't hate me for doing that for not telling you..." "AWESOME!!!" "Wait, What?" "That's gonna be one of the best things I've seen since I was here. And It's only been 2 days." "You... don't find that odd or unsettling?" "A Iittle, but it's not enough to have me weirded out. You guys are one of the few best things I've heard and seen." "Thanks." "I still can't believe that still happens when we play." Danto turned and asked Sunset, "This always happens when they play?" "Yeah." "Hmm..." "Oo, I have got to look into new accessories. Something that looks good in a longer ponytail. Oo! Maybe for some clip on earrings for when I got those adorable pony ears." Danto got a random notebook and wrote what Rarity ideas for when they "Pony Up" like that next time. "I just wonder why it happens, Princess Twilight took her crown back to Equestria. Shouldn't that mean she took all the magic have gone with her?" Danto and Sunset looked at each other knowing Danto was going to ask. "Don't ask, right now that is." "Got it." "Who cares why it happens, it makes my band totally awesome!" Danto then looked at Sunset nodding his head slowly sideways and giving a face with Sunset seeing it as 'I don't think that was a good idea saying that.' Rarity gasped and said "Your Band?" "Duh, It was my idea to start the Rainbooms so we can be in the showcase. And I'm the lead singer and Guitarist." Chapter 5: HatredThe door open showing a student with blue hair, black jacket, and a blue shield logo with a lighting bolt across it. "Hey, heard you outside. You guys are sounding really tight." He said. Danto gave a glare and growled quietly to the person. "Uh we're getting there. Rarity's still coming in a little late on the second verse and Applejack's bass solo could use a little more work, they'll get it together in time for the showcase." Rainbow said as Applejack and Rarity looked at each other for what they heard. "Uh, I don't suppose any of our friends from uh, 'out of town' might come. Uh, it being a special charity event and all." "Sorry Flash, I don't think Twilight is going to be back at Canterlot High anytime soon." Applejack said. "Flash?" Danto whispered to Sunset. "His name is Flash Sentry, he..." Sunset was saying before she was going to mention her and his past. "He was my Ex." Danto turned his eyes to Flash and had slightly unhappy thoughts in his mind for what he thought Flash was. 'Idiot, Stubborn, Air-head! This guy is like a idiot bird who can't tell which ways South and which way is North.' Danto thought as he let out a small chuckle to what he used as an example. "Oh yeah, okay. I just, you know, thought I asked." He said giving a point to the group. 'Yeah this guy looks and is probably an idiot, I already know he has a crush on this 'Twilight' they mention. I wonder if I'll meet with her later on.' Danto thought. "Uh, K-Keep on rocking it." Flash said walking backwards to the wall and walk to the door and out to the hall. 'Yep, idiotic guy who's crushing is here.' Danto started laughing a little for what he thought of out of nowhere. "What are ya' laughin' about?" Applejack "I'll say later." Danto said gathering his thoughts. "Well, someone is a quite smitten-kitten." Rarity said giving a chuckle afterward. She remembered something and looked at Sunset. "Oh, sorry. I always forget you and Flash were an item." "It's okay, Flash is a great guy. I never really liked him liked him, I was just using him to be more popular." She said as she put her head on her right hand, "Ugh, the old me was just awful wasn't she?" Everyone agreed except Danto because he wasn't at the Fall Formal, so he just said nothing. "But the important thing is you've turned yourself around." "Thanks Applejack, but I'm not sure everyone at CHS feels the same way." The speaker in the room beeped as Principal Celestia said "Sunset Shimmer, please report to the Main Foyer." "Gotta run. I volunteered to show some new students around the school. It be good to know the new me before they heard all the stuff about the old me." She said as she walked to the door and looked back at her friends. Rainbow waved as Danto said, "May the new you be better everyday." as he put two thumbs up for showing that he has faith in Sunset. "Thanks Danto." "We still got a few minutes before lunch starts," Rainbow said turning to her friends. "What do ya' say we do 'Awesome as I Wanna Be'?" 'Hmm... this might get interesting.' "Um, Rainbow Dash? I was wondering maybe we could play the song I wrote." "Uh, we'll get to it." Danto was planning on staying with them to listen to the song, but he heard steps outside the halls and wondered it was. He looked outside the halls and saw Aldon, Elu and Clem down the hall walking toward him. Danto noticed that Clem's and El's hands were stuck together with honey and paste as he figured out what happened. "Uh, Hey guys." Danto said getting his friends attention, "I'll meet you at lunch, I need to help my friends with something." "Alright see you there." Rainbow said. Danto waved as he walked down the hall to get to his friends and find a solution. He examined El's and Clem's hands before speaking, "Let me guess... you two put some on your hands and decided to high five each other, didn't you?" "What? No, no... Okay yeah we did. And our theory was right, to say the least." El said trying to pull off Clem's hand but was unable to, "Can you help us get unstuck?" Danto sighed, "Come on. Let's go to the bathroom and wash your hands, the water should dissolve the honey and paste." They all walked down the hall to find the restroom and get El's and Clem's hands unstuck. As they walked down the hall, they noticed Sunset and three girls with her that looked... different. "Do those three girls look..." Aldon said before his friends guessed what he was going to say. "Odd." "Suspicious?" "Uncalled for." "I was going to say different, but I guess those work to." "Eh, close enough." El said. "Here's the restroom." They went in and ran the water as they placed El and Clem's hand under the running faucet with the water doing its work. While this was going on, the bell rang meaning that it was time for lunch. "Is it almost done yet or are we going to have to-" El was asking before Clem grabbed his wrist and push it away from him causing them to be free and El landing on the floor. "Starve?" El finished as he got up. "Oops, Sorry El. Next time somin' like this happens again, I'll warn you that I'm gonna pull you hand away from mine." Clem said chuckling. "Ha ha, Laugh it up. Come on, we're gonna be late. The food calling us guys." "Right." they exited the bathroom and went to the cafeteria. Chapter 6: The BeginningAfter they got their food from the lunch line, they were looking for a place to sit as Danto remembered where Rainbow and her friends sat. "Over there." Danto said while pointing with his tray. "Do we have to? You do realize who sits with them right?" El said pointing out that he was remembering the old Sunset Shimmer as he looked at her walking to the table. "Oh don't be like that. If you are, I'm gonna start calling you a chicken for not sitting with her." "You better not." "Bawk Bawk, Ba-Kaw." Danto said jokingly, making El give in. "Fine. I'll do it." El said, deciding to give Sunset a chance to see if she can earn El's respect and trust to be a friend of his. Danto met up with Rainbow friends after trying to maneuver through the crowd. "Hey everybody." "Hey Danto, Are these your friends you mentioned earlier?" "Yep. Everyone this is Clem," "Howdy." "And El." "Hey." "Clem, El, meet my friends. Pinkie, AJ, Rainbow, Fluttershy, and... Rarity. Hey, where's Sunset?" "She's probably finishing up her tour." "You wouldn't mind would you?" Aldon said giving Rainbow the idea of them wanting to sit with Rainbow and her friends. "Go ahead, just pull up some extra chairs." The four of them pull up a chair for each and every one of them. El look at Sunset walking toward the table and sat next to him. "Hey, are you-" "Yep, Rainbow asked the same thing, just a few seconds ago." "Oh, okay." Danto leaned to El and whispered, "See she's not mean as she was before. She's redeeming herself. You got to trust her now." "Fine. I'll trust her, if it will shut you up about this." El whispered in response. "There you see. That was so hard now was it?" "Shut up." El said as Danto let out a small chuckle. "So, how was the tour?" "I don't know, I mean these girl there was. There was something off about them." "Like, off like this?" Pinkie said making her hair into a beard like figure on her face. Danto and his friends and a small chuckle from the first guess. "Or off like this?" she guessed again by using two pieces of lettuce as eyebrows and two carrots, one having a bite and the other not bitten, as teeth. Danto and his friends let out a small laugh for that guess. "Or or..." she was going to guess again but was cut off by Rainbow. "Maybe we should just let her tell us." Danto and his friend "aww'd" by the fact of the face guessing was done for now. "That's just it, I can't put my finger on it. They just acted sorta, strange around me. Maybe someone talked to them, told them about what I did. Augh, So much for a first impression." "Uh-huh" Fluttershy said agreeing with her judgement as everyone at the table looked her, "Oh that's probably not it." She said thinking it would fix what she didn't mean to say. She then slowly went down in her chair, not saying anything to try and help the situation. Danto nudged El, "Say something to cheer her up." "Why me?" "You're the only one who was talking slight trash about her when we were looking somewhere to sit. Besides Me, Aldon and Clem could cheer her up easily." "Fine. You owe me." "Deal." "Sunset..." El said as Sunset look at him to see what he would say. "Yeah?" "I don't think anyone would bother tell those three about your past. Personally, I wouldn't have trusted you, I probably would've told them about your past at the Fall Formal." "Y-You trust in me?" "Yeah. Danto and Aldon told me that your redeeming yourself by doing things like this. So, they told me to trust you and I will." "Thanks." "No problem." El said turning to Aldo and Danto as they put thumbs up for cheering Sunset up. "We're ready to take the Sirens." "Let's do it." They all headed to the gym to get the Battle of the Bands started. Chapter 10: The Auditions"Welcome to the first ever Canterlot High School Battle of the Bands. I do believe I speak for everyone when I say it is by far the greatest thing we have ever done here at this school." Principal Celestia announced as everyone cheered in agreeance with her. "It could have been better." Aldon said to his friends as they nodded. "We are so glad our three newest students encouraged us to turn this event to something exciting." She said. "But as this is a competition, we can only choose one winner." Vice Principal Luna said as everyone started glaring at one another. "Who is it going to be?" she said as everyone then started arguing with anyone around them. Later, the Battle of the Bands Auditions began. There was bands after bands with this, then came the two boys who had a pair of scissors and a snail on their shirts with them dressed as rappers were on the stage. They both started beatbox. They dropped their mic which caused feedback that some people covered their ears from the sound "Please do not drop the microphones." They left the stage as Snips said, "In your face Rainbooms." Aldon put his beanie back in place, "Finally, I thought they were never gonna shut up." "Next up, The Rainbooms." "Let's get ready to rock!" "Wait! Where's Rarity?" "Here, I'm here." Rarity said walking to them wearing a jacket with shiny material making El slightly hypnotized. "We will be performing in front of an audience, I'm not going to wearing something fabulous?" The Rainbooms got on the stage as they were getting ready to play, but they were talking about what they need to do during the battle if they get in. "What do you think they're saying?" "I don't know." Danto and his friends walked to the backstage to see what was going on. "What do you guys think?" Danto asked. "Uncalled for, considering what happened." "Train wreck by the middle." "I couldn't watch anymore." Danto sighed "Should've saw those response coming." They made it with the others when they were arguing with what happened. "And what's with the confetti Pinkie Pie? How am I supposed to shred when there's paper stuck in my frets?" "It was pretty distracting." "Ugh! Says the girl who was running from a light the whole time. A light!" "You still much better than most of other bands, I'm sure you'll make it to the next round. But it won't matter if you don't have that counter spell ready." Sunset said looking at Twilight. "You all find a place to practice where the Sirens can't hear you. I'll keep an eye on things around here." The next band had 3 girls with different instruments. One had a cow bell, one had a triangle, and the last one had a musical saw. They started playing as it gave El chills down his spine. "Augh. Got chills for a second there." Sunset turned to who said that. "Hey guys." "Hey Sunset, where did the Rainbooms go to?" "They went to go practice where the Sirens can't hear them." "Got it." "I'm gonna go check on them, watch the competition here. If you get called up, play and wait until I or the Rainbooms get back." "Okay..." Sunset walked out the doors to find the Rainbooms, Clem looked out to the audience and noticed something off. "Hey guys," he said as his friends turned to him, "Weren't the Dazzilings on the bleachers?" "Uh oh." "Thank you, next up, the Shredders of Light." "Well, we can't worry about that now. We need to play." "Got it. Let's get setup and get this done." They got their instruments and started getting set up. When they got everything ready, they were trying to think of a song to play to get in the battle. "What should we do? The song we practiced won't be enough." They pondered, then Danto got a song. "I got one, follow my lead." Danto played 2 strums of his guitar twice and played a riff. El got the idea and followed up on drums and so did Clem. They started the song as it seems. The crowd applauded for their performance and were cheering for what happened. "That was great!" shouted El. "Yeah, It had to be enough to get us in the competition." "What now?" "Let's get away from here before the Dazzlings are up, we can't get under the spell, no matter what." "Got it." They walked into the hallways and walked around to get away when the Dazzlings were going to be up. "Next up, Trixie and the Illusions." "Wait, aren't the Dazzlings next after them?" "I think so." "That's not really going to be good."' As they turned the corner as Danto bumped into Rainbow. "Hey Rainbow." "Oh, hey Danto." "You all heading back to the stage to play." "Yeah, my band is going to win this competition." "Our band, Rainbow." Applejack said. "Well, good luck." "Thanks, you too." They walked the opposite directions as Danto and his friends tried to think of how they could help the Rainbooms break the spell. "How could we help them with the counter spell?" "Be the backup beat?" "I don't think I'll really be a fan of that." "Would that mean assisting them on vocals and the beat?" "Sure, that sounds more like it." "Alright, it's settled." "Next up, The Dazzlings." "Good thing we're not there." "Yep." After about 10 minutes of walking through the halls, the intercom rang as Principal Celestia announced, "Can the bands that are participate in the Battle return to the gym." "Let's head there now." "Yep." They entered the Gym as Principal Celestia was going to announce what bands are in. "Thank you for showing us what you all can do, but we can only choose 16 bands for this competition. They are The Dazzlings, the Rainbooms, Trixie and the Illusions, Flash Drive, MC Snips and Dj Snails, Octavia Melody, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Photo Finish and the Snapshots, Bulk Biceps, Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops, the Diamond Dog Boys, Derpy and the Pony Pickers, the Green Cycle Band, iM>U, Tragic Comedy, and the Shredders of Light." "Why are we last?" "Don't know, don't think too much about it." Chapter 11: Round 1"First up, the Shredders of Light vs Trixie and the Illusions." "Well, that's great. We're going against the girl who always says her name in front of every sentence." "Does she?" Danto asked as Trixie walked towards them. "Trixie will not go to hard on you, but we will win this battle for ourselves and the school. And your not going to stop the Great and Powerful Trixie!" she said as she walked away to the stage. "Does that answer your question?" "Yep, Let's get this over with fast." "That's what we were thinking." El said as they walked to their side of the stage. They got up on stage as did Trixie and her band. "The Great and Powerful Trixie will make sure she won't be to rough." "I think we're the ones who are supposed to say that." Danto said as he turned the dial of the speaker to a 10 and strummed his guitar with a chord that had Trixie and her friends cover their ears. "Now!" When they played the final note in the song, Trixie and her band was blasted back from the sound. Everyone cheered as they left the stage showing that they were snapped out of the Sirens spell, but not for long. "Th-That's impossible!" Trixie said sitting and think how she was beaten and is now out of the battle. "Nothing is impossible in songs and music." "Nice referencing." "Thanks." "You haven't seen the last of the Great and Powerful Trixie!" Trixie said throwing down a smoke bomb. They coughed as they saw that she disappeared. "Where did she go?" El asked looking everywhere. "Over there." Clem said pointing by the bleachers as Trixie ran out the door. The Dazzling's were puzzled on how they have magic with them. "How did they do that? I want their powers." said Sonata. "Interesting. They possess magic, but it's not Equestrian." Adagio said as she was thinking. "Should we worry about them?" Aria asked. "Let's deal with everyone else, they'll be saved for last" Chapter 12: Round 2Author's Note Before people start saying stuff about it, I know Sweetie Drops is most commonly known as Bonbon. So don't really get upset about it, I saw this and made it as it is. If you want me to change the name to Bonbon, let me know otherwise, enjoy the chapter. Chapter 12: Round 2 Principal Celestia crossed out Trixie's band with a red marker as she slid Danto's band to the next round. Danto and his friends passed the Rainbooms as they walked to the halls again for them to think of another song. "Good luck out there." said Danto to Rainbow. "Pff, I don't need luck. My band has this in the bag." "Okay," Danto said shrugging and continued walking before turning to Sunset, "Good luck to the band." he whispered as Sunset put a thumbs up for it. They walked in the halls as they were trying to think of another song. "What lyrics can you guess think of?" "I don't know." They were thinking until Clem remembered the chart, "Hey, what band are we up against in round 2." "You wanna check?" "Sure." They all headed back to see who they're up against in the next round. "Lyra and Sweetie Drops." "Never heard of them." They looked to find the girls that they were about to face. They then found two girls by a grand piano and wondered if that was them. "Hey. Are you two Lyra and Sweetie Drops?" One of them turned and said "Who's asking?" "The Shredders of Light, we're supposed to go up against you 2 in the next round." "Oh, so you're the band were going to beat." "Wait, what?" "We came here to win and you 4 aren't going to stop us." "Hey we-" "Look," El said before something might've gotten out of hand, "We're sorry for what we did. How about we play a song together and we'll throw the battle for you 2." "How will we know you won't double cross us?" "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a muffin in my eye. That means we're not gonna cross you no matter what." The two girls glared at them thinking. "Okay, we'll believe you. See you at the stage." They said as they walked off. "El, What was that?" "Don't worry." El said showing his fingers crossed, "I don't always make promise." "Thanks man, come on. Let's get setup." "Wait. What song are we going to play?" "Do you need to ask?" El said pointing at the piano. "You mean-" "Yep, it's time we made our practice song, a stage song." "Alright, I don't know what you mean after that point. But we get the idea." Both bands set up as Lyra and Sweetie drops glared at the Shredders of Light when they finished. "We'll back you two up on the song 'Don't Stop Believing'." "Alright." "On 3. 1,2,3." Aldon said as both bands started Both Lyra and Sweetie Drops were blasted by Danto's chord strum as they continued. When they finished, Lyra and Sweetie Drops were helping each other as they were filled with anger after the match remembering El promised them. "The Shredders of Lights win and go on to Round 3.” “Alright!” They went back stage as Lyra and Sweetie Drops walked up to the Shredders of Light and was furious with them. “I thought you said you’d throw the round for us!” “I said the battle, not the round.” El said in a calm voice. “Why I outta…” Lyra said bringing her fist back getting ready to swing when Sweetie Drop intervened. “Don’t do it. We’re already out has it is.” They walked off into the hallway as Danto and his friends waited to see what will happen in round 3. “Next up Photo Finish and the Snapshots vs the Dazzlings.” Principal Celestia. “Let’s get out of here before were the ones who join in on the arguing.” “Right.” They walked through the doors in the hallways trying to think of another song. Chapter 14: Insanity and the Switch-a-rooDanto ran off into the hallways sitting on the floors trying to get over what happened. “Why? What did I do wrong to have this happen to me?” He asked himself as he was crying, “Why do people hate me so much?” “They don’t hate you. They just don't see the real you, yet.” A voice said near Danto. “What the… Who said that?” he asked as he got up and looked around then saw the trophy case. “I’m the personality with your anger and my name yours and truly…” the voice said as a silhouette of a figure just like Danto appeared. “Insanity.” “How did-” “Before you start questioning how and why I’m here, I’m you with all that anger and insanity building up inside you. It was all from your family that I was beginning to form and be finally able to talk to you in person or reflection in this case.” he said as he got the joke he instantly realized, "Well, there's one pun for you." Danto sarcastically laugh as he wiped off the tears from his face, "Very funny," he observed Insanity closer to compare himself with him. "Weird, you look like me but… the body is covered in darkness.” “Yeah, that’s what being the figure of someone with all this anger and craziness can be.” “Danto? Where are you?” Aldon's voice echoed the hallways. “Are those your ‘Friends?’” “Yeah.” Aldon found Danto as El and Clem followed them. “Finally we found you.” “Heh and yet it took them 5 minutes to do so.” “Who said that?” “The Trophy case.” Insanity said as they turned their heads to look and see him waving. “Hi.” They screamed as they were shocked, confused and amazed what happened. “Danto, what is that?” “Guys meet Insanity, my… ‘personality’ with a mind of it’s own.” “Woah, he’s like, your evil doppelganger.” “Thanks.” “Anyway, as much as we would want to question about you…” “Hmm-mm.” “We were going to check on you. You okay?” “Not really.” “Well, we had to tell Celestia that we needed time to look for you. So The Dazzlings went up against Flash’s band.” “That idiot getting all ‘joyful and full of pride seeing Twilight?’” “Yeah…” “Well, Let’s hurry up and get this over with.” “Hey. What about him?” Clem asked as he pointed at Insanity. “You can talk to me be a reflection off a object, mirrors, very polished glass, etc.” “Alright. Let’s go.” As Danto and his friends were heading to the stage, Aldon had to tell Danto something. “Oh yeah, Celestia said that each band will play one at a time when they get call up on stage. No second chances, no retries, what we do is what we get.” “Alright.” Danto said instantly stopping. “Danto, come on.” “I’m trying, I can’t move.” Danto said trying to move but gets no response. Aldon tried pushing him, but didn’t move him a single bit. “What is going on with you man?” Insanity chuckled echoed the hallways. “Insanity, what are you doing?” “I think Danto needs a little...assistance.” “What are you saying?” “Stand back.” Insanity said as darkness started growing from Danto’s feet. It reached to his chest as Danto tried resisting by moving but forget he can’t turn his head or his limbs. Danto then screamed as the darkness reached his head but was then muffled when it got to his mouth. He kneeled as his hands were the last thing to see of Danto himself. The figure then got up and opened it’s eyes to show the white in the eyes with black pupils. “Danto?” “He’s not in at the moment. I’m here for now.” Insanity spoke in a voice with a evil tone. “What did you do to him?” “He’s on my spot, check the trophy case.” They ran to the trophy case to see Danto within the reflection of the glass. “Danto!” “It feels weird being in a reflection guys.” “Don’t worry, I’ll give him back after we’re done playing our song.” “Oh yeah, what is the song?” “You’ll see soon enough, now…” Insanity said pulling a box from his jacket. He opened it to show 3 silver cuff bangle with the same symbol on each of them. “Wear these.” “Why?” “The song we’ll play is needing a metal tone that you guys don’t really have.” “Alright. If you say so.” Aldon said putting on the wrist wear as did Clem and El. “Now then… Let’s rock.” The four of them walked to the backstage where the Rainbooms just finished their song as they were arguing again. “None of this wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t show off! As usual.” Applejack said to Rainbow as they saw Danto and noticed he was... different “Good show Rainbooms.” Trixie said as she saw the Shredders of Light walking to the stage. “Hey look, it’s your friends who got us out in round 1. Hey good luck out there Criers of Light.” Trixie said as she was laughing to a joke which didn't really make any sense. Insanity stopped and looked at Trixie laughing and walked slowly to her direction. As he got closer, Trixie slowly stopped laughing. He was standing right in front her looking down slightly. “It took you this long to insult us? I should’ve known this kind of information coming from a so called ‘Magician’ and yet…” He said turning away. “Your band is called, ‘Trixie and the Illusions,’ That is a great name by the way for the Horrible and Untalented Trixie.” He finish bowing down to Trixie. “Thanks for the nickname the Horrible, Untalented, no good, Powerless Trixie.” he said as he got up and continued to the stage. Trixie stood there motionless and in shock of what she heard. She then ran out the doors with tears slowly coming out of her eyes. “You think that was a bit harsh?" Aldon asked. “Not to me it isn’t.” "I should've expected that." "Hey, she had it coming to her at some point." Author's Note Please welcome the horrible new character for the story and more to come, Insanity. Even though he looks and sounds evil, he's nice unless you get him at a moment like that. Well, onward to the next chapter then. Chapter 15: The Semi-Finals and DecisionBefore they started, Insanity handed Aldon the electric guitar. "Why are you giving me this?" "I'm going to try your spot for the song. Besides, you have the cuffs." He said as he activated the power of the cuffs by saying, "Activate" They follow that order as Insanity started the song with a muffled like beginning and then… The audience looked with their mouth opened after seeing the performance. One student clapped slowly and then one by one everyone was applauding to their music. Rainbow Dash cheered trying to get Danto to forgive him for what happened minutes ago. Insanity looked at her and walked away. Rainbow sighed and whispered to herself, “What have I done?” “That was awesome, we need to do this more.” “Well, a deal’s a deal.” Insanity said draining from Danto into a mirror. “There you go, 1 man who won't really be cheered up right there.” “Thanks. Now we just wait for what Luna and Celestia say.” Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna walked on stage, ready to announce who's going to be in the finals. “The band that will be joining the Dazzlings in tonight's finals…” “Come on…” "Please." "We had to have won this round." “The Rainbooms.” “What?!” Both bands shouted in disbelief that the Rainbooms made it to the finals. The Rainbooms walked on stage as the Shredders of Light left knowing their time in the Battle of the Bands… was finished. As the Shredders of Light left the backstage, they heard booing from the gym. “Hmm. Guess everyone upset as it is, mad if you will.” Rainbow saw Danto and was walking to him until Sunset said, “Don’t talk to him.” “Why?” “He still might be angry from what happened earlier.” Rainbow looked at him as he glanced at her and look straight forward. She sighed, “You’re right, come on. Let’s save this school again.” Danto and his friends went to a hill where on the top was a tree and climbed up and sat on the various branches. “Testing.” A loud feedback from Rainbow was heard by them as they covered their ears. Danto sighed. “What are we supposed to do? We won’t be able to see the finals until tonight.” Clem yawned, “I don’t know about you guys, but I’m gonna hit the hay for a while.” he said as he closed his eyes. El yawned, “Yeah, Let’s catch some zzz’s while we can. Maybe we’ll wake up when they start the finals.” he said closing his eyes and falling asleep. Aldon did the same, leaving Danto laying on the branch looking up and thinking, ‘Maybe, this school wasn’t such a bad choice after all…’ he thought as he closed his eyes. 6:31 P.M. They woke up to the sounds of barking right under them. When they looked down, it was a purple dog with distinctive green fur for ears, tail and on top of the head. “Spike?” Aldon asked jumping down from the trees. “What are you doing here?” “Twilight and her friends are in trouble.” “What happened?” “They were on stage setting up for the battle when Trixie and her friends opened a hatch and they all fell in.” “And tell me, why should we care?” Danto said closing his eyes. “Rainbow needs your help and-” Danto jumped from the trees and kneeled to Spike. “Don't ever say that name again.” He said while clenching his teeth. “Sorry for him. You remember right?” “Oh yeah... Well, Celestia said that Trixie and the Illusions will play in substitution for the Rainbooms.” “What?” “Yeah and they’ll start the finals at 7:00.” “It’s 6:35 now.” “Come on.” Aldon said running to the school. “Where are you going?” “We got a school to save.” Aldon said as he and his friends went to go get their equipment. “What about the Rainbooms?” Spike asked running to Aldon “Find someone to help them.” “But you just need to-” “Spike listen, those 3 girls are going to take over the school, then the world. We’ll distract them until the Rainbooms get here. Trust me, we know what we’re up against.” Spike nodded and ran off to find someone to free the Rainbooms and stop the Sirens once and for all. Author's Note The Shredders of Light are finished with the battle, or are they? All we can do now is wait until the Finals. Chapter 16: The Finals (Part 1)Author's Note For this chapter, you will need to go back and forth on the songs. It maybe weird, but I'll put which one you pause and which one you play. Chapter 16: The Finals (Part 1) It was 7:10, Danto and his friends were setting up their instruments on the hill they were on. “Again, why did we chose here and not the stage?” El asked putting a speaker on another speaker. “Because Trixie could pull the same lever and we would fall in the same position that the Rainbooms are at now.” “Right, Are the speakers hooked up yet?” Clem was test the sound as they were still setting up and gave a thumbs up showing that the sound was A okay. “Good. Now, a song.” “Right.” “Guys, did you forget who can help you?” The echo of Insanity said to the 4 of them. “Okay, fine. Do what you need to do. Ready?” “Ready.” Danto said going through the transformation before in round 3. As the Transformation finished, the Dazzlings were up and began with a green mist effect on the stage. “Uhh, Guys?” Clem said pointing to the stage. “Oh no, the Rainbooms are arguing.” Aldon said as he saw that before in the gym, Danto and Rainbow arguing, and the start of it, the cafeteria. “How do you know?” “Ever since the cafeteria happened, I noticed green mist floating through the entire room. My guess is that the mist is the anger of argument of everyone there. They must be feeding off of it. We need to stop them, save the people here, the school, and maybe even the world.” “Alright,” the figure said, “Let’s end this.” Insanity said tossing them the cuffs as they put them on, "Activate!" "Now!" Insanity shouted as they started as this was... The Final Battle. The Shredders of Light stood there as the Sirens circled around them. “I don't think those are special effects!” El said. “Ignore them. Keep playing!” (Read at end of V1) Danto and his friends were blasted by the voices from the Sirens and were on their back. Insanity went back into the mind of Danto before hitting the ground. “There too tough. We need more instrumental power, vocal power, anything that will help us.” “We could help.” a familiar voice said as they looked and saw the Rainbooms in a attire of each of their own individualities. "No way! No,no,no,no,no,no, N-O! We can get anyone else help but you 6!” “Danto,” Aldon said getting up, “We need all the power we can get. We have no choice.” Danto looked at them and then Aldon as he forcefully exhaled, “Fine.” Chapter 18: ForgivenessDanto walked away from his friends to the hill with the tree and climb up to lie back on a branch. He sighed, “Didn’t think I was going to save the school today. Maybe it wasn’t a bad choice coming here after all.” Danto heard footsteps coming his way and he poked his head out of the tree to see who it was. “Danto?” Danto jumped off the branch and landed on the ground, “What do you want?” "You're still mad at me?" "Not as bad. But yes." "Oh, well, aren't you not going to thank me- I mean us for helping you and your friends out?" "Well I guess I can say thanks for the fact that you said you and you friends." "No problem." Rainbow said as she walk toward the tree. They both sat beside each other and looks to the moon for a few minutes as the sound of crickets chirped around them. "I-I'm sorry." “For what?" "About earlier, when we were fighting." "Oh, that..." "Yeah, look I didn't know what came over me, I think the Dazzlings spell or whatever got to me and..." "Rainbow." "And I want to say I'm sorry for saying all those bad things about you and..." Rainbow said and was tearing up. "Rainbow," "And I so so SO sorry for hitting you on purpose, I wasn’t trying to hurt you and-and…” Rainbow they broke into tears and cried thinking that Danto was never going to forgive her for what she has done to him at that moment. Danto sighed as he made his decision to forgive Rainbow or not. "Rainbow," Danto said as he lifted Rainbow's head to face him. "I will never hate you, no matter what you do. Like you said, I'm away from my parents and that's okay. You're the only one, well excluding my friends, that understood, helped, and cared for me like a real friend would do. Just be careful on what you do or how you act." "Really?" "Really really." They gazed into each other eyes as the moonlight gleamed upon them. “You do look kind of awesome with what your wearing.” “T-Thanks. You're not too bad yourself.” Rainbow said regretting it knowing that Danto wore the same kind of clothes yesterday. Danto smirked, "You didn't need to say that..." They slowly moved their heads closer when… “Danto, Rainbow, where are you?” El asked. They pulled back as they both blushed. “We should head back.” “Y-Yeah.” As they were heading back, Danto held Rainbow’s hand as they both looked at each other and smiled. “I think it was the best idea ever for me to come here.” “You’d be right.” Author's Note What do we have here? 3 days in the school and already has a heart for a special someone. Chapter 19: Reunion Danto's family, who looked for him everywhere, found the stage with Rainbow, Danto and her friends sitting there. "Dan-two there you are!" Danto turned the voice he heard which he recognized. "Uh oh" "What is it?" asked Rainbow Dash "My parents." "Where were you Dan-two? We were worried sick about you." "I doubt that." whispered Danto to Rainbow. "Come on we're going home." His mom said grabbing his hand. "Mom wait." "No 'wait', we're going now!" "Mom listen!" "No 'listen' you’re going back with your brothers and sisters and that's final!" "MOM STOP!" Danto shouted that stop his mother in her tracks. He then got her grip off him. "Since when do you care for me?" "We needed that money you took-" his dad was saying but stop by Danto's mother elbowing him. "I mean to pick you up and take you home." "That house is crazy and yet I have a 2nd personality named 'Insanity'!" "He's right you know." Insanity's voice echoed to them. "Where are you at?" "Look at your pocket mirror mom." Danto's mother then pulls the mirror out from her purse. "Boo." "AHH!" she screamed and dropped the mirror on the ground. "Got you." "Well excluding the rudeness of your ‘imaginary friend’, " “Hey.” "We brought someone who might change your mind." "Who?" Danto's mother went to the car and opened the door for Danto to remember who stepped out. "Who's that?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Belladonna Desponia meaning beautiful woman or mistress, before I met you I had feelings for her but I just waited to tell her. She had a boyfriend that was WAY too defensive of her." "No way, I'm not going back to that crazy house. The real people who cared and weren't paid to act out for me are my friends. My REAL friends." "But-" "Look I know you're trying to help my parents get me back but I'm not going back no matter what. and besides," Danto said walking towards Rainbow "I already with someone that's special to me and I'm special for her. And you all can't realize that." "Danto, we can see you want to be here with your friends, but you need to come home now!" "I'm staying!" "You're Coming with US!" "No, I'm not." Danto's parents ran to grab him as he was trying to break free. "No!" Aldon shouted trying to get to Danto "Everyone, we'll double your allowances if you stop them from getting Danto!" Danto's father said as he and Danto's mother was still dragging Danto to the car. Danto's brothers tackled and pinned Aldon. "Let go!" "No way, we need that money!" one of Danto's brothers said. "Aldon!" Sunset ran to him but was stopped by Danto's sisters. "Your going nowhere!" one of Danto's sisters said. Then he thought of a way on how he can be free and get his brothers and sisters to stay with him at the school. (After 1st) One of Danto's brothers got off of Aldon and stood up and was surprised Danto voice when he sang. In fact, everyone was surprised when he was singing. He brother then joined in. (After 2nd) One by one, both Danto's brothers and sisters got off of Sunset and Aldon as Aldon joined in with the song. Then they all sang as one voice together. (After 3rd) Danto's brothers and sisters realized they were caring around themselves so much, they forgot about Danto growing up. You listen, all this time you were having my brothers and sisters under that house long enough. We are all choosing to live our life the way we want to live it." Danto's father was going to say something when he saw all of the people that are against him. "Fine, you all enjoy life without any parents then. Come on, we're leaving this place." Danto's father said as Danto's mother and Bella got in the car and both drove off. "Well, you all will need to find homes of your own if your gonna be here." Epilouge“Well, that’s what happened. I found my friend and made new ones, made my brothers and sisters stay and be themselves in this school, and am in a great relationship with Rainbow Dash. Aldon check on them and said, "Are you guys gonna eat lunch or make out more?" They looked at him then each other. "Give us about 3 minutes." Danto said. "Alright." Danto looked at Rainbow, "Best. ProlougeAuthor's Note Welcome to the start of the story with a storyline similar to some movies and shows. I hope you enjoy. Prolouge "Hello, you want to know about me? Well, I'll tell you about me from where I was from to now. I was born in a family that cared for my brothers and sisters but I was the odd one out. My brothers and sisters were the ones to get everything in the house food, tv, beds, and even the bathroom. I was the last to get everything the last amount of food, having 5 minutes of tv, going to bed in a sleeping bag, and wait for minutes or more for a turn in the bathroom. And when it came to school, they got C's and D's but I got A's and B's which could have been good if my parents noticed. It was when I just turned 18 is when I thought 'I'm done with this family I'm getting out of here.' So I packed some things I needed a phone, some money, water, and food. Oh and the money was from my brothers and sisters wallets and purses. So when everyone was asleep, I snuck out and ran to go to the bus stop and catch a ride to anywhere but where my family was. Then I ended up at a place called 'Canterlot High School' and that's when my new life started for me... Danto Ettore."

Danto said as he got off of the bus, "Let's get the year over with, get a good job, and live my life." he started walking through the yard, getting ready to enroll in the school. "Heads up!" "What?" Danto saw a ball coming right for him. "Woah!" he said as he ducked under the ball. "You okay?" "Yeah." "Sorry I was trying to get the goal but I guess I overpowered it a tiny bit." "More like a lot but..." he said walking toward the soccer ball and picking it up, "That was a good kick." he tossed it to the kicker as they caught it. "Really?" "Yeah." "Well, names Rainbow Dash." "Danto Ettore. I'm new here." "Really?" "Yeah." "Where did you come from?" Danto had a slightly pause. "I don't really talk about it, you know?" "Oh I see. Well, come on. Since you here, let me show you around." Later after the tour... "That's basically what this school has." "Nice." "Hey Rainbow!" said a joyful voice from a girl with REALLY poofy hair, well so Danto thought. "Hey Pinkie." "Hey Rainbow, who your new found friend?" "This is Danto." "Hey." Danto said taking a glance at the energetic girl's very poofy hair. "What's with your hair? "What this? It's been like this for my whole life." She said as she pulled a container of cupcakes out of her hair. "Want one?" Danto, although surprised by what she did, decided to take a cupcake from the box. "Thanks. Rainbow said as her, Pinkie, and Danto walked to the cafeteria. Later, they headed out of the lunch line with their food as they looked and found Rainbow's friends sitting at a table. "Hey, Rainbow. Who's your friend?" said a girl wearing a cowgirl hat. "This is Danto, he's new so I showed him around the school earlier." "Hey." "Howdy. Names Applejack, but you can call me AJ for short. I'm the owner of Sweet Apple Acres." "Nice." "My name is Rarity, I'm the owner of Rarity's Boutique." "That place with all those clothing and slightly fancy designs?" "Yes, how did you know?" "I heard some people talking about it when I was on my way here." "Nice to know that my store is still getting recognition." "I'm Sunset Shimmer." "Nothing else really? No past story or business or what not?" "She does have a past, but we choose not to talk about it." "Huh. Well, you're not the only one with a past that you don't want to talk about." "Thanks. That makes me feel a little better." "No problem." "I'm Fluttershy." The light pink haired girl murmured behind her hair. "What is your name?" "Fluttershy." She whispered again. "Rainbow?" "That's Fluttershy. She's...Shy." "Apparently." "So, what brings you here?" Rainbow asked. "Just being me, finding what I can do, you know how it goes." "Cool. What did your parents think when they send you here?" "What do you mean?" "Did they want you to be or do something you wanted to do?" Danto had a slight hesitation due to the fact that they didn't know what he's been through and him not wanting to tell them what happened in his life. "Danto?" Danto shook his head and came back to reality. "They just told me to be the best at what I'm looking for." "Cool." Later after they finished their lunch, they decided to head home for the day. But Danto didn't know what to do by the fact that he didn't have a home and didn't have enough money for one, so he decided to stay in Rainbow's or one of her friends home until otherwise.
Chapter 3: Reunited"Hey I just remembered. Me and the girls are working on posters in the gym, wanna help?" "Sure." "Awesome, let's head there now." When they entered the school and started walking to the gym, Danto thought he saw someone he knew walk around a corner. "What is it?" Rainbow asked being concerned that Danto looked away in a different direction since she's never seen him to this before yesterday. "Nothing, I just thought a friend of mine was here." "Who?" Danto sighed because this was one of the happy memories of his past other than his parents. "His name is Aldon, Aldon Gregario. He was my friend at my last school before he left because he had to move. I haven't seen him in a few years ever since. I think I'm just seeing things." "Well, let's keep going. We don't wanna keep our friends waiting." "Right." As they both entered the gym, they saw Rainbow's friend making the poster. "Hey guys." "Hey Rainbow, Hey Danto." "Hey. So what are you, or maybe we, doing here?" "We're making posters for our after school programs." "Cool." Danto saw Sunset trying to help 3 girls with a poster and saw that they didn't really need her help. "Sunset Shimmer Over Here!!!" Pinkie Shouted and waving her arm to Sunset on the other side of the gym. As Sunset started walking toward her friend, Danto heard people saying her name and giving looks of disappointment and with a touch of anger. Sunset groaned, "I had no idea the whole school would be here." Danto thought, 'What could she have done that caused this?' Pinkie and Rarity looked at each other and pick up the poster that they were working on. "What a eye-catching advertisement, if I do say so myself." Rarity said. "And it smells cake!" Pinkie said being happy as Danto could tell she is one for sugar based foods. "It does?" Fluttershy then tried to smell the poster and had her eyes closed. Pinkie walked to her and put the poster on her face and as she took it of Fluttershy had some frosting and what looked to be sprinkles on her face. "I used frosting instead of paste." "Uh Fluttershy, you got a little somthin', uh..." Fluttershy wiped her cheek to get some of the sprinkles off, "Did I get it?" "Heh, Not exactly" Sunset turned Fluttershy toward her and got a small towel and wiped her face from the stuff from the poster. Danto chuckled quietly from what happened. "Good afternoon Students!" a voice announced from the hall. "I just wanted to tell you all that I am pleased that so many of you are going to participate in the first ever Canterlot High School Musical Showcase." she announced as the student cheered for what is going to happen tomorrow. Danto tapped Rainbow's shoulder. "What the Musical Showcase?" "It's just a competition that helps us raise money for the after school programs." "Oh." Danto said nodding and getting the idea of what it is. "This is a wonderful opportunity to raise money for our after school programs here at CHS," "I guess you didn't need to explain it a second ago." Danto said letting out a chuckle. "Yeah, I guess I didn't have to." Rainbow said chuckling as well. "So keep working on those signs and poster. I think this is going to be one of the most exciting events here at CHS, since the Fall Formal." Danto noticed that people started giving glares at Sunset as she was embarrassed and sat down with her head in her arms. 'What happened during the Fall Formal?' Later on, Rainbow and her friends were heading to the band room to practice when Danto noticed someone that looked like Aldon. Danto stopped and took a closer look, "Is that..." Danto walked closer to the person and did something Rainbow was surprised he got a response from it... "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck would chuck wood if he would know how to chuck wood if he would chuck wood?" "Well, the woodchuck would chuck wood. But he would not chuck wood because if he would chuck wood the woodchuck would chuck wood incorrectly. Why do you..." He stopped and recognized the voice that asked that "Wait, say the original." "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck would chuck wood?" He then turn around quickly and recognized who was asking him that. "Danto?!" "Aldon?" "Hey!" Aldon shouted giving Danto a big hug and lifting him off of the ground. "It's been forever since I seen you man!" He said putting Danto down. "How've you been?" "Well, despite the fact my back might be slightly rearranged, I'd say I've been good." "That's great. How did you even get here?" "Let's save that for later. Anyway, How have you been?" "I've been great, this school has everything I could ask for. I was thinking of visiting you, but it looks like it's the other way around." He said chuckling. "Yep." Danto said laughing slightly. Rainbow tapped Danto shoulder, "Danto?" Danto turned around. "Hmm?" "Are you going to introduce us to your friend here?" "Oh. Everyone this is Aldon, Aldon Gregario." "Hey." "He was a friend of mine at my last school, but he had to moved so we haven't each other since." "Yeah, It's great seeing you here man." "Thanks, now to have it the other way around for a minute." Danto walked to Rainbow and started introducing each of her friends, "This is Rainbow Dash or Rainbow for short." "Nice to meet you." "Same here." Danto walked to Rarity. "This is Rarity, owner of Rarity's Boutique." "Oh, you're the owner of that store." "That's right Darling. It is a pleasure to meet you." "The pleasure is all mine." Danto walked to Applejack, "This is Applejack or AJ for short." "Hey, aren't you one of the Apple family members?" "That's Right. Say, how did ya' know?" "Your name is like that farm uptown, Sweet Apple Acres." "I work there also." "Nice." Danto walked to Fluttershy, "This is Fluttershy." "H-Hello." "I see she stands by the name." "Yes, Yes she does." Fluttershy showed a small smile as Danto went to Pinkie. "This is Pinkie Pie. We just call her Pinkie." "Nice to meet-" Aldon was cut off by Pinkie shaking his hand vigorously and quickly. She was so excited, she even spoke quickly to a point where almost no on could hear her. "Its so nice to meet you, I mean everyone has to have a friend in their life. So you're Danto's very first friend?" She said and asked quickly as she let go of Aldon's hand which was still shaking. "Not first but," He spoke in a vibrating tone by his hand still shaking. Danto then held his arm so he can regain control from shaking. "Thanks. But I am one of his friends." "Cool!" Danto walked to the last person in line for the introduction. "And this is Sunset Shimmer." Aldon gave her a slight glare and forced himself to give a handshake. "Nice to meet you." He muttered. Sunset shook his hand and said "Nice to meet you too." in a slightly scared tone. "Okay, I'm done waiting. What happened at the Fall Formal? I need a explanation now!" Aldon sighed, "Are you sure you want to know?" "Yes please." "What happened there was-" "A accident I didn't intend to make." Sunset said cutting off Aldon. "What?" Aldon asked her in disbelief. "I was a bully that was basically ruling the school and was the winner of every Fall Formal there was. It was until a girl named Twilight Sparkle stopped me with herself and her friends, Rainbow, AJ, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie. I changed from then to now, but everyone is still upset about that and I don't know if they will drop it or not." "Wow. I didn't expect that for a story." "There's more to it. It's just... we won't explain it to you right now." "Aw man." "Sorry." "You really didn't mean any of that?" Aldon asked to be sure he can trust her. "No, that me isn't the me now. I hope you can forgive me." Aldon had his hand on his chin to think if he can trust her or not. He sighed and said, "Alright, I guess I can believe you." as he extended his hand to make it a agreement. Sunset was happy and hugged him because this is the first person that isn't her friends to forgive something she didn't intend to do. "Thank you." "No problem." Aldon said hugging her back. Rainbow cleared her throat, "Are we still heading to the band room or are we going to watch these two lovebirds hug some more?" Sunset and Aldon let go of each other and blushed from her saying that as Danto laughed at the idea. "Danto..." Aldon getting ready to do something. "Do you want your hair more messy than it is?" Danto then suddenly stopped laughing, "You wouldn't dare." "Try me." Danto then got the idea, "Okay, okay." "Alright," Rainbow said, "Let's go to the band room." Danto was going to go with them but was pulled back from Aldon, "You guys go ahead. I want to show Danto my friends here." "Alright, See you later Danto." Rainbow waving at him. "See ya."
Chapter 4: New FriendsAs Aldon and Danto walked down the halls, Aldon pulled out a beanie that was a light blue color and put it on. Danto snickered, "Nice hat." "Oh, shut up." Aldon said as Danto chuckled. They both then entered a room where two people were experimenting with a jar of honey and some paste. "Let's see if combining to things that are sticky like these can be two times as sticky." said one with brown and blonde like hair "Let's get right to it." the other said with a yellow and light blue western looking jacket. Aldon cleared his throat. They both turned to the sound and saw Aldon with someone they didn't know. "Hey Aldon, Who's that? "This is a friend of mine before I met you two." "Hey." "Hey. Name's Elu, Elu Edmondo." Elu said giving Danto a handshake. "Nice to meet you. Could I call you El? Not being mean or anything." "Go on ahead, these two call me that all the time." "Ah." "Howdy. Name's Clemente, Clemente Orazio." "Your last name..." "Yeah, I know. So ya' new here?" "Yep. I was being introduced around by a girl named Rainbow Dash." "Wait, Rainbow Dash? The one with the hair like a rainbow or even Skittles possibly." He asked as Elu was laughing from the 'Skittles' name for Rainbow. "Yeah?" "She's cool, she's one of the few that stopped that Sunset Shimmer from ruling the school." "Yeah, I heard. Aldon explained. Oh and My name is Danto, Danto Ettore." "Nice to meet you." "So, what's going on here?" "We're experimentin' to see if you combinin' these two things that are sticky like this jar of honey and that tube of paste will make it twice as sticky." "Ooo. Nice thought." "I know, now let's try it." As they mix the honey with paste, Danto thought of Rainbow and what she was doing. He then was hearing music from the halls, 'What's that noise?' he thought. He walked to the door and opened it to hear the music being a little louder. "What's that music bein' played in them halls?" "It's probably people practicing in the band room." "Yeah, it's Rainbow and her friends practicing." "Skittles?" "Yeah... 'Skittles.'" Danto started walking to the band room being interest on what Rainbow and her friends are doing. "Hey, Danto." Danto turned around, "Aren't you going to stay here and watch this?" "I'll be back, I'll see the aftermath of that." "Alright." Danto started walking to the band room and as he got closer the music got louder and louder. As he reached the door he put his ear to listen to it before the reveal of something he wasn't ready to witness. "It's sounds... Beautiful." He then opened the door to see his friend having ears and pony tails at the end of their hair. He also took notice of Rainbow and Fluttershy having wings like a angel. "Woah." He walked inside and sat down on the floor to listen and watch as they practiced. When they finished playing, their ears and other appearances disappeared. Danto gave an applause even though what he witness was unbelievable. Rainbow notice and figured out he saw them with their addition features. "Danto!" "That..." "I didn't know you were gonna see that!" "Was..." "Please don't hate me for doing that for not telling you..." "AWESOME!!!" "Wait, What?" "That's gonna be one of the best things I've seen since I was here. And It's only been 2 days." "You... don't find that odd or unsettling?" "A Iittle, but it's not enough to have me weirded out. You guys are one of the few best things I've heard and seen." "Thanks." "I still can't believe that still happens when we play." Danto turned and asked Sunset, "This always happens when they play?" "Yeah." "Hmm..." "Oo, I have got to look into new accessories. Something that looks good in a longer ponytail. Oo! Maybe for some clip on earrings for when I got those adorable pony ears." Danto got a random notebook and wrote what Rarity ideas for when they "Pony Up" like that next time. "I just wonder why it happens, Princess Twilight took her crown back to Equestria. Shouldn't that mean she took all the magic have gone with her?" Danto and Sunset looked at each other knowing Danto was going to ask. "Don't ask, right now that is." "Got it." "Who cares why it happens, it makes my band totally awesome!" Danto then looked at Sunset nodding his head slowly sideways and giving a face with Sunset seeing it as 'I don't think that was a good idea saying that.' Rarity gasped and said "Your Band?" "Duh, It was my idea to start the Rainbooms so we can be in the showcase. And I'm the lead singer and Guitarist."
Chapter 5: HatredThe door open showing a student with blue hair, black jacket, and a blue shield logo with a lighting bolt across it. "Hey, heard you outside. You guys are sounding really tight." He said. Danto gave a glare and growled quietly to the person. "Uh we're getting there. Rarity's still coming in a little late on the second verse and Applejack's bass solo could use a little more work, they'll get it together in time for the showcase." Rainbow said as Applejack and Rarity looked at each other for what they heard. "Uh, I don't suppose any of our friends from uh, 'out of town' might come. Uh, it being a special charity event and all." "Sorry Flash, I don't think Twilight is going to be back at Canterlot High anytime soon." Applejack said. "Flash?" Danto whispered to Sunset. "His name is Flash Sentry, he..." Sunset was saying before she was going to mention her and his past. "He was my Ex." Danto turned his eyes to Flash and had slightly unhappy thoughts in his mind for what he thought Flash was. 'Idiot, Stubborn, Air-head! This guy is like a idiot bird who can't tell which ways South and which way is North.' Danto thought as he let out a small chuckle to what he used as an example. "Oh yeah, okay. I just, you know, thought I asked." He said giving a point to the group. 'Yeah this guy looks and is probably an idiot, I already know he has a crush on this 'Twilight' they mention. I wonder if I'll meet with her later on.' Danto thought. "Uh, K-Keep on rocking it." Flash said walking backwards to the wall and walk to the door and out to the hall. 'Yep, idiotic guy who's crushing is here.' Danto started laughing a little for what he thought of out of nowhere. "What are ya' laughin' about?" Applejack "I'll say later." Danto said gathering his thoughts. "Well, someone is a quite smitten-kitten." Rarity said giving a chuckle afterward. She remembered something and looked at Sunset. "Oh, sorry. I always forget you and Flash were an item." "It's okay, Flash is a great guy. I never really liked him liked him, I was just using him to be more popular." She said as she put her head on her right hand, "Ugh, the old me was just awful wasn't she?" Everyone agreed except Danto because he wasn't at the Fall Formal, so he just said nothing. "But the important thing is you've turned yourself around." "Thanks Applejack, but I'm not sure everyone at CHS feels the same way." The speaker in the room beeped as Principal Celestia said "Sunset Shimmer, please report to the Main Foyer." "Gotta run. I volunteered to show some new students around the school. It be good to know the new me before they heard all the stuff about the old me." She said as she walked to the door and looked back at her friends. Rainbow waved as Danto said, "May the new you be better everyday." as he put two thumbs up for showing that he has faith in Sunset. "Thanks Danto." "We still got a few minutes before lunch starts," Rainbow said turning to her friends. "What do ya' say we do 'Awesome as I Wanna Be'?" 'Hmm... this might get interesting.' "Um, Rainbow Dash? I was wondering maybe we could play the song I wrote." "Uh, we'll get to it." Danto was planning on staying with them to listen to the song, but he heard steps outside the halls and wondered it was. He looked outside the halls and saw Aldon, Elu and Clem down the hall walking toward him. Danto noticed that Clem's and El's hands were stuck together with honey and paste as he figured out what happened. "Uh, Hey guys." Danto said getting his friends attention, "I'll meet you at lunch, I need to help my friends with something." "Alright see you there." Rainbow said. Danto waved as he walked down the hall to get to his friends and find a solution. He examined El's and Clem's hands before speaking, "Let me guess... you two put some on your hands and decided to high five each other, didn't you?" "What? No, no... Okay yeah we did. And our theory was right, to say the least." El said trying to pull off Clem's hand but was unable to, "Can you help us get unstuck?" Danto sighed, "Come on. Let's go to the bathroom and wash your hands, the water should dissolve the honey and paste." They all walked down the hall to find the restroom and get El's and Clem's hands unstuck. As they walked down the hall, they noticed Sunset and three girls with her that looked... different. "Do those three girls look..." Aldon said before his friends guessed what he was going to say. El finished as he got up. "Oops, Sorry El. Next time somin' like this happens again, I'll warn you that I'm gonna pull you hand away from mine." Clem said chuckling. "Ha ha, Laugh it up. Chapter 6: The BeginningAfter they got their food from the lunch line, they were looking for a place to sit as Danto remembered where Rainbow and her friends sat. "Over there." Danto said while pointing with his tray. "Do we have to? You do realize who sits with them right?" El said pointing out that he was remembering the old Sunset Shimmer as he looked at her walking to the table. "Oh don't be like that. "Or off like this?" she guessed again by using two pieces of lettuce as eyebrows and two carrots, one having a bite and the other not bitten, as teeth. Danto and his friends let out a small laugh for that guess. "Or or..." she was going to guess again but was cut off by Rainbow. "Maybe we should just let her tell us." Danto and his friend "aww'd" by the fact of the face guessing was done for now. "That's just it, I can't put my finger on it. They just acted sorta, strange around me. Maybe someone talked to them, told them about what I did. Augh, So much for a first impression." "Uh-huh" Fluttershy said agreeing with her judgement as everyone at the table looked her, "Oh that's probably not it." She said thinking it would fix what she didn't mean to say. She then slowly went down in her chair, not saying anything to try and help the situation. Danto nudged El, "Say something to cheer her up." "Why me?" Chapter 7: The PlanWhen they got to Principal Celestia's office, Danto and Aldon put their ears up against the door to listen to what their friends were discussing to Principal Celestia. "Dark Magic? Dear Princess Celestia..." She said as she wrote as El saw the pen was glowing as Sunset was writing. "Wow, didn't expect this." "Well, what do you expect? Rarity did Fluttershy's nails, Pinkie and Applejack was playing cards with El and Clem watching, Sunset was writing in the book, Rainbow was tossing her soccer ball back and forth, Danto and Aldon were just sitting tossing a baseball to each other. Applejack and Pinkie set down their cards to see who's was higher as El and Clem watched and commented on what they had as they put them down. "Ha! 4 Aces." Clem said. "Ha! 4... Jokers?" Chapter 8: The ExplanationThey all decided to head to head to a café called 'Sugarcube Corner' to talk about who the girls were. "Oo, I do hate you had to return to a time of crisis. We have some much catching up to do." "For starters, a certain blue haired guitar player was just asking about you." "Flash Sentry was talking about me?!" Twilight said loudly when she shows that she liked Flash Sentry, she then cleared her throat and continued as if the small outburst didn't happened, "Isn't that nice." "Perhaps you can give us the slightest gossip from your world." Rarity said taking a sip of her tea. "She's got a official title now," Spike the dog said as he played the dog treat as a trumpet, "The Princess of Friendship!" "Let me guess..." Danto was saying to Aldon. "Yeah... he's a talking dog that's with the girl from Equestria that says he is a dragon." "Got it." "Wow, that's really impressive. I guess you really were Princess Celestia's prized pupil." "She's even got her own castle." Spike added. "A castle?! You have a castle?" Pinkie and Sunset looked at Rarity in surprise, not usually seeing her that excited. She cleared her throat before talking, "Oh, how lovely." "What's new here? I mean besides your school being target by the dark magical creatures from Equestria." "Yeah... Applejack then caught a punch Rainbow threw in her direction as Danto and his friends looked in amazement from the moment. "We got nothing to worry about, now that Twilight's back." said Applejack. "Oh, I'm pretty sure I could find something to worry about. But it won't be the Sirens." "The sooner we do this, the better. Any idea where the Dazzlings might be?" Rarity and Sunset shook their head as Pinkie waved her hand showing that she knew where the Dazzlings should be. Pinkie drank her chocolate shake quickly with Danto and his friends being surprise she didn't get the old fashion brain freeze. "There's a big party for all the bands that signed up for the showcase, that would include the Dazzlings." she said finishing the last bit of her shake on the straw. "Well, we know where they're at now." El said. "Looks like we've got a party to crash." Twilight said as she wiped some chocolate off of Pinkie face while Pinkie smiled. As they finished their drinks, they went back to the school to try and stop the Dazzlings from taking over. As they made it in the gym, they saw that the bands were there with everyone was upset with everyone else. "Didn't expect the whole school to go under this much negativity." Aldon said. "Well, let's wait for the Dazzlings to show up." Twilight said. "You do that, we'll just observe what's going on." Rainbow then realized something seeing Danto and his friends in the gym also. "Really?" "Yeah." "That's strange. I look at that when I go back to Equestria." "Alright." They went to the table full of snacks and punch in case some people get thirsty. Pinkie started eating the cookies they had on the table one by one. As they observed the room, Danto found the person he doesn't appreciate, Flash Sentry. He saw him with a kid wearing a shirt with scissors on it puffing his chest out, giving Flash a free swing at him. Flash wound back and grabbed his cup, "I'm gonna get more punch." Twilight walked toward Flash as Flash was walking to the punch bowl when they bumped into each other and Flash caught Twilight. "Hey Aldon." "What?" Aldon asked Danto as he saw Flash and Twilight, "You got to kidding me." "Easy man. You'll get your moment, alright?" Aldon forced a exhale. "You're right, I'll get my moment." "Twilight?" "Heh, bumped, into, always, doing." "What are you doing here? You came for the big competition right?" "More like 'saving' it." Aldon said. "Something like that." "Not there's going to be any real competition, nobody wants it as bad as my band." Danto took a deep breath in and slowly exhaled. The gym doors opened as the Dazzlings came in. Rainbow noticed them, she then grabbed a chocolate chip from a cookie Pinkie was about to eat and flicked it in Twilight's hair. Twilight wiped it off and turned to see what Rainbow wanted, Rainbow showed Twilight the Dazzlings were in the spot where they wanted them. "Can you excuse me for just a minute?" Twilight said as she walked to where she can use the "Magic" to stop the Dazzlings. Rainbow and her friends did the same, but Pinkie didn't know what to do with the cookies, so she grab as much as she can and stuff them in her hair. Danto then thought of something, "Wait, guys." He said turning to his friends and getting their attention. "Yeah, What is it Danto?" "They said they 'pony up' when they play their instruments, right?" As Danto quoted Rainbow. "Yeah?" "Does that mean they're just going to stand there and have no 'magic' to help them at all?" "Uh oh." "That may be a good point, but this will be a bad result." Clem said. "I can't watch humiliation." El said turning away from the direction he was facing and covering his eyes. "Well, let's prepare for the one of the worst fails we've seen." Danto said forcing himself to watch them NOT stop the Dazzlings while he got his phone and press record. "There isn't going be a Battle of the Bands! We're going to make sure of that!" Twilight and her friends joined hands to have the magic of friendship help them. "Friendship is magic!" She shouted, but nothing happened in return. "Oh no." Danto whispered. "Why?" El whispered. "Guess it didn't happened whatever they were goin' for." Clem whispered. "Guess you were right Danto." Aldon whispered. "This is so bad. It's worst then a fail, it's... it's stupid. They're just standing there." Danto whispered. "Uh, weren't there rainbows and lasers and stuff last time?" "I don't understand, we're all together again. Why isn't this working?" Spike came out of Twilights bag and whispered, "You uh, really need to go ahead and do that whole 'Magic of Friendship' thing now." "I'm trying Spike, I thought the 6 of us standing together against the Sirens would bring out the magic we need to defeat them. That's what happened before." Twilight whispered to Spike. "Talk about throwing down the gauntlet, this group is obviously serious about winning. A little cocky though, aren't they? Claiming there won't really be a battle. It's seems they get this thing all, lock, up." Adagio said making more negativity to happen. "Not if the Great and Powerful Trixie has anything to do with it." Trixie shouted. "Whatever Trixie! We're the best band at CHS!" Flash said. "No, the Crusaders are gonna win!" A small girl with a pink bow in her hair said. Everyone started arguing and causing negativity the Sirens can use. The Dazzlings looked at Twilight and her friends and noticed they weren't arguing, they were looking at everyone else arguing. Twilight and her friends got out of the gym as fast as they could as Danto and his friends followed a little bit sooner so they weren't seen arguing as well. "Are they out front?" "Most likely." "Come on." they left the school and found the others in front of the school on the stairs as Twilight was trying to figure out why the magic of friendship didn't help them this time. "It doesn't make any sense. I've should've been able to create the spark to help us break their spell. That's how it worked before." "But to defeat me, you drew magic from the crown I was wearing. The Sirens magic comes from their music, so maybe you have to use the same magic to defeat them. Or maybe not." "No, I think you're onto something." "Really?" "It's only when you play music is when you transform right?" "Yep, ears, tails, the whole sha-bang." "So maybe the way to use that magic to defeat the Sirens is to play a musical counter spell." "Musical counter spell?" El whispered to Clem as Clem shrugged not knowing what is going on. "You mean, like a song?" "Uh huh. And in order to free everyone who's been exposed to the Siren's spell, we'll need them all to hear it." They all began to think on how they could get them all to hear the song. Rarity then knew where they can play the song, defeat the Sirens, and save the school once again, "The band competition. That the next time we can be certain that everyone will be in the same place at the same time." "Guess the Rainbooms are the band to beat." "And I believe you Twilight, became the Rainbooms newest member." Rarity said as her friends cheering for Twilight now being a part of the Rainbooms. "So, what do you want to play? Triangle?", Pinkie asked as she went through different instruments, "Sousaphone?", she asked as she play a note from a sousaphone, "Theremin?", she asked get a instrument that can control pitch as she played it, "So magical.". Danto then face palmed with Aldon shaking his head, Clem scratching the back of his head, and El taking a breath to what Rainbow saying "My Band" instead of something else like "Our Band." "It's our band and, of course as lead singer, she's the one with the magical know how to help us pull this thing off." "Okay, yeah that's cool. I'll just use this as a chance to hone my already insane good lead guitar skills." "It's only temporary and we don't have to win the battle of the bands, we just have to perform in the first round of the competition." "Then let's get to learning to that musical counter spell." "Well, that's just it. I don't know any." Twilight said as her friends 'aww'd' thinking that it is over. "But I'm sure I can figure out how to write one." "Totally," Spike said walking toward Twilight, "Twilight can write a spell like nobody's business, that's pretty much how she got to become a princess in Equestria." Chapter 9: SleepoverThey started heading to Pinkie's house, Rainbow turned to Danto, "Aren't you coming?" "Nah, It looks more like a girls night thing with you and your friends. We need to practice anyway. See you tomorrow Rainbow." "Alright, See you Danto." Rainbow said waving to Danto as she went to her friends heading to Pinkie's house. Danto waved to Rainbow in return. He turned to his friends and sighed, "Well, let's get to practicing." "Alright, let's head to my house and we'll practice there." "You guys practice at Aldon's?" "Yeah, all our equipment is there." "Yep, my bass, El's drums and Aldon has a mic setup and everythin'. Hey, Aldon didn't you have a guitar somewhere in your house?" Clem said. "Oh yeah, I forgot. Danto, it's kind of obvious with what you're going to have to play." "Yeah, yeah, get the message. Come on. The sooner we get to Aldon's house, the sooner we can practice." "Alright, let's go." Aldon said as they walked to Aldon's home. Later... They entered his house as Danto looked around, seeing everything was neat and clean. "Alright, welcome to my house Danto." "Wow. You keep this place tidy now, don't you?" "Yep. So what do you want to do? We can practice now and do whatever we want later or switch it around." "Let's practice now." Danto said as Clem and El agreed. "Alright, to the garage." They went into the garage where Danto saw a microphone, drums and bass setup. He then noticed a case and wondered what was inside. "Aldon, is this the guitar you mentioned earlier?" "Yep, open that thing, hook it up, and let's rock." Danto opened the case and saw the guitar and knew what it was. "A Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar?" "Yeah, how did you know?" "I always had a thing of wanting to play a guitar." "Well, let's see what you can do with it." "Really?" "Yeah, go ahead. Try it." Danto plugged the speaker cord to the guitar and was thinking of what solo to play. "I got it." Danto said grabbing a pick and raising high getting ready to play a solo from a song he listened to once in awhile. Danto finished the solo as his friend applauded. "I've never seen anyone do so much on a guitar before." Clem said. "Well, that guitar is yours now." Aldon said. "Really?" "Yep, you've earned it." "Thanks, now let's get to practicing." "Right, and I have the song in mind." Aldon said. "Places people." he said as he and his friends got in place with their instruments. "What song are we doing?" "Don't Stop Believing." "Oo, nice." "1, 2, 3!" El said clapping the drum sticks as he counted as Aldon press 'Play' for the song. They put their instruments up after they finished the song. "That was a good take." "Yeah it was. Let's get some food and call it a night." "Alright, let's order the classic food for a time like this. Pizza." "Perfect." They call the restaurant and waited for the pizza to be delivered. *Ding-Dong* "Pizza's here." "16.46" the pizza guy said giving Aldon the pizza as Aldon paid him the cash and cents exact. "Now, let's dig in." After they ate the pizza, they were getting tired and are starting to fall asleep one by one. They all were asleep as Danto texted Rainbow to see how she's doing. Hey Rainbow. Danto? Yeah? What are you doing? I don't know. I'm just checking on you. Why? Just seeing if you were up doing something. I was asleep when my phone buzzed so now I am. How are you? Good, we're down for the count from the pizza Same here. You ready for tomorrow? I think we got this. Same here. Hey rainbow. Yeah? What happens if both our bands face each other? Oh, we didn't think of that. Well, we'll find out soon enough Yeah Well, I'm gonna go back to bed Alright, same here. Night Rainbow Night Danto Danto put his phone down and fell asleep to be well rested and wide awake in the morning. Later that morning.... They woke up to the sunrise and were a little more awake from Aldon's alarm going off. "What time is it?" El asked rubbing his eyes. "8:30 A.M." "Alright, everyone up." Danto said, "We need to get ready for the Battle today." "Fine." El groaned, forcing himself to get up. After they all got up, they needed to see who did what do speed up the preparation for school. "Alright, we need to take a shower, practice, eat, and then head to school." "Who taking the shower first?" "I think Danto should, he's new in this house after all. Who agrees?" "Aye." "I." "Thanks guys." Danto said then remembering something. "Shoot, my stuff is at Rainbow's. I need to call her real quick. One of your three can take the shower first." he said grabbing his phone and calling Rainbow. "Hello?" "Rainbow, I need your house keys." "Why?" "My stuffs at your house." "Alright, come to Pinkie's house, knock on the door, and I'll give you my keys. Lose them and you're paying for new ones." "Deal. See you later." "See ya." Rainbow said hanging up. "I'll be back." "Alright, hurry up though, we need to practice." "Got it." Danto said walking out the door to Pinkie's house. *Knock-Knock-Knock* The door opened as Rainbow saw Danto, "Hey." "Hey, the keys." "Here." She said as she gave him the keys to her house. "Don't lose them." "I won't. I'll give the back when we meet up at the school." "Alright, see you until then." Rainbow said closing the door. Danto went to Rainbow's house, opened the door, grabbed his bag with everything he packed, locked the door, and left. "Well, that's everything. Now just need to take a shower, eat, practice and head to the battle." he said to himself as he walked to Aldon's house as he put Rainbow's keys in his pocket. Later, he made it back, took a shower, ate, and was getting ready to practice with his friends. "What song should we do next?" Asked Danto. "You know what, how about you choose." "Really?" "Yeah, go for it." Danto thought and had a song in mind. "I hope you guys know this one." he said as he started playing his guitar as they began practicing. Later after they finished practicing, they walked to school to see if Rainbow and her friends made it there before them. When they looked across the way, they saw them heading to the door as they did. "Hey Danto." "Hey Rainbow." "You ready for the battle of the bands?" "Yep. We're bringing the best we got. You?" "We're ready to take the Sirens." "Let's do it." They all headed to the gym to get the Battle of the Bands started.
Chapter 10: The Auditions"Welcome to the first ever Canterlot High School Battle of the Bands. I do believe I speak for everyone when I say it is by far the greatest thing we have ever done here at this school." Principal Celestia announced as everyone cheered in agreeance with her. "It could have been better." Aldon said to his friends as they nodded. "We are so glad our three newest students encouraged us to turn this event to something exciting." She said. "But as this is a competition, we can only choose one winner." Vice Principal Luna said as everyone started glaring at one another. "Who is it going to be?" she said as everyone then started arguing with anyone around them. Later, the Battle of the Bands Auditions began. There was bands after bands with this, then came the two boys who had a pair of scissors and a snail on their shirts with them dressed as rappers were on the stage. They both started beatbox. They dropped their mic which caused feedback that some people covered their ears from the sound "Please do not drop the microphones." They left the stage as Snips said, "In your face Rainbooms." Aldon put his beanie back in place, "Finally, I thought they were never gonna shut up." "Next up, The Rainbooms." "Let's get ready to rock!" "Wait! Where's Rarity?" "Here, I'm here." Rarity said walking to them wearing a jacket with shiny material making El slightly hypnotized. "We will be performing in front of an audience, I'm not going to wearing something fabulous?" The Rainbooms got on the stage as they were getting ready to play, but they were talking about what they need to do during the battle if they get in. "What do you think they're saying?" "I don't know." Danto and his friends walked to the backstage to see what was going on. "What do you guys think?" Danto asked. "Uncalled for, considering what happened." "Train wreck by the middle." "I couldn't watch anymore." Danto sighed "Should've saw those response coming." They made it with the others when they were arguing with what happened. "And what's with the confetti Pinkie Pie? How am I supposed to shred when there's paper stuck in my frets?" "It was pretty distracting." "Ugh! Says the girl who was running from a light the whole time. A light!" "You still much better than most of other bands, I'm sure you'll make it to the next round. But it won't matter if you don't have that counter spell ready." Sunset said looking at Twilight. "You all find a place to practice where the Sirens can't hear you. I'll keep an eye on things around here." The next band had 3 girls with different instruments. One had a cow bell, one had a triangle, and the last one had a musical saw. They started playing as it gave El chills down his spine. "Augh. Got chills for a second there." Sunset turned to who said that. "Hey guys." "Hey Sunset, where did the Rainbooms go to?" "They went to go practice where the Sirens can't hear them." "Got it." "I'm gonna go check on them, watch the competition here. If you get called up, play and wait until I or the Rainbooms get back." "Okay..." Sunset walked out the doors to find the Rainbooms, Clem looked out to the audience and noticed something off. "Hey guys," he said as his friends turned to him, "Weren't the Dazzilings on the bleachers?" "Uh oh." "Thank you, next up, the Shredders of Light." "Well, we can't worry about that now. We need to play." "Got it. Let's get setup and get this done." They got their instruments and started getting set up. When they got everything ready, they were trying to think of a song to play to get in the battle. "What should we do? The song we practiced won't be enough." They pondered, then Danto got a song. "I got one, follow my lead." Danto played 2 strums of his guitar twice and played a riff. El got the idea and followed up on drums and so did Clem. They started the song as it seems. The crowd applauded for their performance and were cheering for what happened. "That was great!" shouted El. "Yeah, It had to be enough to get us in the competition." "What now?" "Let's get away from here before the Dazzlings are up, we can't get under the spell, no matter what." "Got it." They walked into the hallways and walked around to get away when the Dazzlings were going to be up. "Next up, Trixie and the Illusions." "Wait, aren't the Dazzlings next after them?" "I think so." "That's not really going to be good."' As they turned the corner as Danto bumped into Rainbow. "Hey Rainbow." "Oh, hey Danto." "You all heading back to the stage to play." "Yeah, my band is going to win this competition." "Our band, Rainbow." Applejack said. "Well, good luck." "Thanks, you too." They walked the opposite directions as Danto and his friends tried to think of how they could help the Rainbooms break the spell. "How could we help them with the counter spell?" "Be the backup beat?" "I don't think I'll really be a fan of that." "Would that mean assisting them on vocals and the beat?" "Sure, that sounds more like it." "Alright, it's settled." "Next up, The Dazzlings." "Good thing we're not there." "Yep." After about 10 minutes of walking through the halls, the intercom rang as Principal Celestia announced, "Can the bands that are participate in the Battle return to the gym." "Let's head there now." "Yep." They entered the Gym as Principal Celestia was going to announce what bands are in. "Thank you for showing us what you all can do, but we can only choose 16 bands for this competition. They are The Dazzlings, the Rainbooms, Trixie and the Illusions, Flash Drive, MC Snips and Dj Snails, Octavia Melody, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Photo Finish and the Snapshots, Bulk Biceps, Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops, the Diamond Dog Boys, Derpy and the Pony Pickers, the Green Cycle Band, iM>U, Tragic Comedy, and the Shredders of Light." "Why are we last?" "Don't know, don't think too much about it."
Chapter 11: Round 1"First up, the Shredders of Light vs Trixie and the Illusions." "Well, that's great. We're going against the girl who always says her name in front of every sentence." "Does she?" Danto asked as Trixie walked towards them. "Trixie will not go to hard on you, but we will win this battle for ourselves and the school. And your not going to stop the Great and Powerful Trixie!" she said as she walked away to the stage. "Does that answer your question?" "Yep, Let's get this over with fast." "That's what we were thinking." El said as they walked to their side of the stage. They got up on stage as did Trixie and her band. "The Great and Powerful Trixie will make sure she won't be to rough." "I think we're the ones who are supposed to say that." Danto said as he turned the dial of the speaker to a 10 and strummed his guitar with a chord that had Trixie and her friends cover their ears. "Now!" When they played the final note in the song, Trixie and her band was blasted back from the sound. Everyone cheered as they left the stage showing that they were snapped out of the Sirens spell, but not for long. "Th-That's impossible!" Trixie said sitting and think how she was beaten and is now out of the battle. "Nothing is impossible in songs and music." "Nice referencing." "Thanks." "You haven't seen the last of the Great and Powerful Trixie!" Trixie said throwing down a smoke bomb. They coughed as they saw that she disappeared. "Where did she go?" El asked looking everywhere. "Over there." Clem said pointing by the bleachers as Trixie ran out the door. The Dazzling's were puzzled on how they have magic with them. "How did they do that? I want their powers." said Sonata. "Interesting. They possess magic, but it's not Equestrian." Adagio said as she was thinking. "Should we worry about them?" Aria asked. "Let's deal with everyone else, they'll be saved for last"
Chapter 12: Round 2Author's Note Before people start saying stuff about it, I know Sweetie Drops is most commonly known as Bonbon. So don't really get upset about it, I saw this and made it as it is. If you want me to change the name to Bonbon, let me know otherwise, enjoy the chapter. Chapter 12: Round 2 Principal Celestia crossed out Trixie's band with a red marker as she slid Danto's band to the next round. Danto and his friends passed the Rainbooms as they walked to the halls again for them to think of another song. "Good luck out there." said Danto to Rainbow. "Pff, I don't need luck. My band has this in the bag." "Okay," Danto said shrugging and continued walking before turning to Sunset, "Good luck to the band." he whispered as Sunset put a thumbs up for it. They walked in the halls as they were trying to think of another song. "What lyrics can you guess think of?" "I don't know." They were thinking until Clem remembered the chart, "Hey, what band are we up against in round 2." "You wanna check?" "Sure." They all headed back to see who they're up against in the next round. "Lyra and Sweetie Drops." "Never heard of them." They looked to find the girls that they were about to face. They then found two girls by a grand piano and wondered if that was them. "Hey. Are you two Lyra and Sweetie Drops?" One of them turned and said "Who's asking?" "The Shredders of Light, we're supposed to go up against you 2 in the next round." "Oh, so you're the band were going to beat." "Wait, what?" "We came here to win and you 4 aren't going to stop us." "Hey we-" "Look," El said before something might've gotten out of hand, "We're sorry for what we did. How about we play a song together and we'll throw the battle for you 2." "How will we know you won't double cross us?" "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a muffin in my eye. That means we're not gonna cross you no matter what." The two girls glared at them thinking. "Okay, we'll believe you. See you at the stage." They said as they walked off. "El, What was that?" "Don't worry." El said showing his fingers crossed, "I don't always make promise." "Thanks man, come on. Let's get setup." "Wait. What song are we going to play?" "Do you need to ask?" El said pointing at the piano. "You mean-" "Yep, it's time we made our practice song, a stage song." "Alright, I don't know what you mean after that point. But we get the idea." Both bands set up as Lyra and Sweetie drops glared at the Shredders of Light when they finished. "We'll back you two up on the song 'Don't Stop Believing'." "Alright." "On 3. 1,2,3." Aldon said as both bands started Both Lyra and Sweetie Drops were blasted by Danto's chord strum as they continued. When they finished, Lyra and Sweetie Drops were helping each other as they were filled with anger after the match remembering El promised them. "The Shredders of Lights win and go on to Round 3.” “Alright!” They went back stage as Lyra and Sweetie Drops walked up to the Shredders of Light and was furious with them. “I thought you said you’d throw the round for us!” “I said the battle, not the round.” El said in a calm voice. “Why I outta…” Lyra said bringing her fist back getting ready to swing when Sweetie Drop intervened. “Don’t do it. We’re already out has it is.” They walked off into the hallway as Danto and his friends waited to see what will happen in round 3. “Next up Photo Finish and the Snapshots vs the Dazzlings.” Principal Celestia. “Let’s get out of here before were the ones who join in on the arguing.” “Right.” They walked through the doors in the hallways trying to think of another song.
Chapter 14: Insanity and the Switch-a-rooDanto ran off into the hallways sitting on the floors trying to get over what happened. “Why? What did I do wrong to have this happen to me?” He asked himself as he was crying, “Why do people hate me so much?” “They don’t hate you. They just don't see the real you, yet.” A voice said near Danto. “What the… Who said that?” he asked as he got up and looked around then saw the trophy case. “I’m the personality with your anger and my name yours and truly…” the voice said as a silhouette of a figure just like Danto appeared. “Insanity.” “How did-” “Before you start questioning how and why I’m here, I’m you with all that anger and insanity building up inside you. It was all from your family that I was beginning to form and be finally able to talk to you in person or reflection in this case.” he said as he got the joke he instantly realized, "Well, there's one pun for you." Danto sarcastically laugh as he wiped off the tears from his face, "Very funny," he observed Insanity closer to compare himself with him. "Weird, you look like me but… the body is covered in darkness.” “Yeah, that’s what being the figure of someone with all this anger and craziness can be.” “Danto? Where are you?” Aldon's voice echoed the hallways. “Are those your ‘Friends?’” “Yeah.” Aldon found Danto as El and Clem followed them. “Finally we found you.” “Heh and yet it took them 5 minutes to do so.” “Who said that?” “The Trophy case.” Insanity said as they turned their heads to look and see him waving. “Hi.” They screamed as they were shocked, confused and amazed what happened. “Danto, what is that?” “Guys meet Insanity, my… ‘personality’ with a mind of it’s own.” “Woah, he’s like, your evil doppelganger.” “Thanks.” “Anyway, as much as we would want to question about you…” “Hmm-mm.” “We were going to check on you. You okay?” “Not really.” “Well, we had to tell Celestia that we needed time to look for you. So The Dazzlings went up against Flash’s band.” “That idiot getting all ‘joyful and full of pride seeing Twilight?’” “Yeah…” “Well, Let’s hurry up and get this over with.” “Hey. What about him?” Clem asked as he pointed at Insanity. “You can talk to me be a reflection off a object, mirrors, very polished glass, etc.” “Alright. Let’s go.” As Danto and his friends were heading to the stage, Aldon had to tell Danto something. “Oh yeah, Celestia said that each band will play one at a time when they get call up on stage. No second chances, no retries, what we do is what we get.” “Alright.” Danto said instantly stopping. “Danto, come on.” “I’m trying, I can’t move.” Danto said trying to move but gets no response. Aldon tried pushing him, but didn’t move him a single bit. “What is going on with you man?” Insanity chuckled echoed the hallways. “Insanity, what are you doing?” “I think Danto needs a little...assistance.” “What are you saying?” “Stand back.” Insanity said as darkness started growing from Danto’s feet. It reached to his chest as Danto tried resisting by moving but forget he can’t turn his head or his limbs. Danto then screamed as the darkness reached his head but was then muffled when it got to his mouth. He kneeled as his hands were the last thing to see of Danto himself. The figure then got up and opened it’s eyes to show the white in the eyes with black pupils. “Danto?” “He’s not in at the moment. I’m here for now.” Insanity spoke in a voice with a evil tone. “What did you do to him?” “He’s on my spot, check the trophy case.” They ran to the trophy case to see Danto within the reflection of the glass. “Danto!” “It feels weird being in a reflection guys.” “Don’t worry, I’ll give him back after we’re done playing our song.” “Oh yeah, what is the song?” “You’ll see soon enough, now…” Insanity said pulling a box from his jacket. He opened it to show 3 silver cuff bangle with the same symbol on each of them. “Wear these.” “Why?” “The song we’ll play is needing a metal tone that you guys don’t really have.” “Alright. If you say so.” Aldon said putting on the wrist wear as did Clem and El. “Now then… Let’s rock.” The four of them walked to the backstage where the Rainbooms just finished their song as they were arguing again. “None of this wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t show off! As usual.” Applejack said to Rainbow as they saw Danto and noticed he was... different “Good show Rainbooms.” Trixie said as she saw the Shredders of Light walking to the stage. “Hey look, it’s your friends who got us out in round 1. Hey good luck out there Criers of Light.” Trixie said as she was laughing to a joke which didn't really make any sense. Insanity stopped and looked at Trixie laughing and walked slowly to her direction. As he got closer, Trixie slowly stopped laughing. He was standing right in front her looking down slightly. “It took you this long to insult us? I should’ve known this kind of information coming from a so called ‘Magician’ and yet…” He said turning away. “Your band is called, ‘Trixie and the Illusions,’ That is a great name by the way for the Horrible and Untalented Trixie.” He finish bowing down to Trixie. “Thanks for the nickname the Horrible, Untalented, no good, Powerless Trixie.” he said as he got up and continued to the stage. Trixie stood there motionless and in shock of what she heard. She then ran out the doors with tears slowly coming out of her eyes. “You think that was a bit harsh?" Aldon asked. “Not to me it isn’t.” "I should've expected that." "Hey, she had it coming to her at some point." Author's Note Please welcome the horrible new character for the story and more to come, Insanity. Even though he looks and sounds evil, he's nice unless you get him at a moment like that. Chapter 15: The Semi-Finals and DecisionBefore they started, Insanity handed Aldon the electric guitar. "Why are you giving me this?" "I'm going to try your spot for the song. Besides, you have the cuffs." He said as he activated the power of the cuffs by saying, "Activate" They follow that order as Insanity started the song with a muffled like beginning and then… The audience looked with their mouth opened after seeing the performance. One student clapped slowly and then one by one everyone was applauding to their music. Rainbow Dash cheered trying to get Danto to forgive him for what happened minutes ago. Insanity looked at her and walked away. Rainbow sighed and whispered to herself, “What have I done?” “That was awesome, we need to do this more.” “Well, a deal’s a deal.” Insanity said draining from Danto into a mirror. “There you go, 1 man who won't really be cheered up right there.” “Thanks. Now we just wait for what Luna and Celestia say.” Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna walked on stage, ready to announce who's going to be in the finals. “The band that will be joining the Dazzlings in tonight's finals…” “Come on…” "Please." "We had to have won this round." “The Rainbooms.” “What?!” Both bands shouted in disbelief that the Rainbooms made it to the finals. The Rainbooms walked on stage as the Shredders of Light left knowing their time in the Battle of the Bands… was finished. As the Shredders of Light left the backstage, they heard booing from the gym. “Hmm. Guess everyone upset as it is, mad if you will.” Rainbow saw Danto and was walking to him until Sunset said, “Don’t talk to him.” “Why?” “He still might be angry from what happened earlier.” Rainbow looked at him as he glanced at her and look straight forward. She sighed, “You’re right, come on. Let’s save this school again.” Danto and his friends went to a hill where on the top was a tree and climbed up and sat on the various branches. “Testing.” A loud feedback from Rainbow was heard by them as they covered their ears. Danto sighed. “What are we supposed to do? We won’t be able to see the finals until tonight.” Clem yawned, “I don’t know about you guys, but I’m gonna hit the hay for a while.” he said as he closed his eyes. El yawned, “Yeah, Let’s catch some zzz’s while we can. Maybe we’ll wake up when they start the finals.” he said closing his eyes and falling asleep. Aldon did the same, leaving Danto laying on the branch looking up and thinking, ‘Maybe, this school wasn’t such a bad choice after all…’ he thought as he closed his eyes. 6:31 P.M. They woke up to the sounds of barking right under them. When they looked down, it was a purple dog with distinctive green fur for ears, tail and on top of the head. “Spike?” Aldon asked jumping down from the trees. “What are you doing here?” “Twilight and her friends are in trouble.” “What happened?” “They were on stage setting up for the battle when Trixie and her friends opened a hatch and they all fell in.” “And tell me, why should we care?” Danto said closing his eyes. “Rainbow needs your help and-” Danto jumped from the trees and kneeled to Spike. “Don't ever say that name again.” He said while clenching his teeth. “Sorry for him. You remember right?” “Oh yeah... Well, Celestia said that Trixie and the Illusions will play in substitution for the Rainbooms.” “What?” “Yeah and they’ll start the finals at 7:00.” “It’s 6:35 now.” “Come on.” Aldon said running to the school. “Where are you going?” “We got a school to save.” Aldon said as he and his friends went to go get their equipment. “What about the Rainbooms?” Spike asked running to Aldon “Find someone to help them.” “But you just need to-” “Spike listen, those 3 girls are going to take over the school, then the world. We’ll distract them until the Rainbooms get here. Trust me, we know what we’re up against.” Spike nodded and ran off to find someone to free the Rainbooms and stop the Sirens once and for all. Chapter 16: The Finals (Part 1)Author's Note For this chapter, you will need to go back and forth on the songs. It maybe weird, but I'll put which one you pause and which one you play. Nonetheless, Enjoy. Chapter 16: The Finals (Part 1) It was 7:10, Danto and his friends were setting up their instruments on the hill they were on. “Again, why did we chose here and not the stage?” El asked putting a speaker on another speaker. “Because Trixie could pull the same lever and we would fall in the same position that the Rainbooms are at now.” “Right, Are the speakers hooked up yet?” Clem was test the sound as they were still setting up and gave a thumbs up showing that the sound was A okay. “Good. Now, a song.” “Right.” “Guys, did you forget who can help you?” The echo of Insanity said to the 4 of them. “Okay, fine. Do what you need to do. Ready?” “Ready.” Danto said going through the transformation before in round 3. As the Transformation finished, the Dazzlings were up and began with a green mist effect on the stage. “Uhh, Guys?” Clem said pointing to the stage. “Oh no, the Rainbooms are arguing.” Aldon said as he saw that before in the gym, Danto and Rainbow arguing, and the start of it, the cafeteria. “How do you know?” “Ever since the cafeteria happened, I noticed green mist floating through the entire room. My guess is that the mist is the anger of argument of everyone there. They must be feeding off of it. We need to stop them, save the people here, the school, and maybe even the world.” “Alright,” the figure said, “Let’s end this.” Insanity said tossing them the cuffs as they put them on, "Activate!" "Now!" Insanity shouted as they started as this was... The Final Battle. The Shredders of Light stood there as the Sirens circled around them. “I don't think those are special effects!” El said. “Ignore them. Keep playing!” (Read at end of V1) Danto and his friends were blasted by the voices from the Sirens and were on their back. Insanity went back into the mind of Danto before hitting the ground. “There too tough. We need more instrumental power, vocal power, anything that will help us.” “We could help.” a familiar voice said as they looked and saw the Rainbooms in a attire of each of their own individualities. "No way! No,no,no,no,no,no, N-O! We can get anyone else help but you 6!” “Danto,” Aldon said getting up, “We need all the power we can get. We have no choice.” Danto looked at them and then Aldon as he forcefully exhaled, “Fine.”
Chapter 18: ForgivenessDanto walked away from his friends to the hill with the tree and climb up to lie back on a branch. He sighed, “Didn’t think I was going to save the school today. Maybe it wasn’t a bad choice coming here after all.” Danto heard footsteps coming his way and he poked his head out of the tree to see who it was. “Danto?” Danto jumped off the branch and landed on the ground, “What do you want?” "You're still mad at me?" "Not as bad. But yes." "Oh, well, aren't you not going to thank me- I mean us for helping you and your friends out?" "Well I guess I can say thanks for the fact that you said you and you friends." "No problem." Rainbow said as she walk toward the tree. They both sat beside each other and looks to the moon for a few minutes as the sound of crickets chirped around them. "I-I'm sorry." “For what?" "About earlier, when we were fighting." "Oh, that..." "Yeah, look I didn't know what came over me, I think the Dazzlings spell or whatever got to me and..." "Rainbow." "And I want to say I'm sorry for saying all those bad things about you and..." Rainbow said and was tearing up. "Rainbow," "And I so so SO sorry for hitting you on purpose, I wasn’t trying to hurt you and-and…” Rainbow they broke into tears and cried thinking that Danto was never going to forgive her for what she has done to him at that moment. Danto sighed as he made his decision to forgive Rainbow or not. "Rainbow," Danto said as he lifted Rainbow's head to face him. "I will never hate you, no matter what you do. Like you said, I'm away from my parents and that's okay. You're the only one, well excluding my friends, that understood, helped, and cared for me like a real friend would do. Just be careful on what you do or how you act." "Really?" "Really really." They gazed into each other eyes as the moonlight gleamed upon them. “You do look kind of awesome with what your wearing.” “T-Thanks. Chapter 19: Reunion Danto's family, who looked for him everywhere, found the stage with Rainbow, Danto and her friends sitting there. "Dan-two there you are!" Danto turned the voice he heard which he recognized. "Uh oh" "What is it?" asked Rainbow Dash "My parents." "Where were you Dan-two? We were worried sick about you." "I doubt that." whispered Danto to Rainbow. "Come on we're going home." His mom said grabbing his hand. "Mom wait." "No 'wait', we're going now!" "Mom listen!" "No 'listen' you’re going back with your brothers and sisters and that's final!" "MOM STOP!" Danto shouted that stop his mother in her tracks. He then got her grip off him. "Since when do you care for me?" "We needed that money you took-" his dad was saying but stop by Danto's mother elbowing him. "I mean to pick you up and take you home." "That house is crazy and yet I have a 2nd personality named 'Insanity'!" "He's right you know." Insanity's voice echoed to them. "Where are you at?" "Look at your pocket mirror mom." Danto's mother then pulls the mirror out from her purse. "Boo." "AHH!" she screamed and dropped the mirror on the ground. "Got you." "Well excluding the rudeness of your ‘imaginary friend’, " “Hey.” "We brought someone who might change your mind." "Who?" Danto's mother went to the car and opened the door for Danto to remember who stepped out. "Who's that?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Belladonna Desponia meaning beautiful woman or mistress, before I met you I had feelings for her but I just waited to tell her. She had a boyfriend that was WAY too defensive of her." "Danto, please come back for your parents." she said walk toward Danto. “Why are YOU here Bella?” he asked “‘Bella’? I kind of like that nickname. But your brothers and sisters miss you and I miss you.” “You’re the most popular girl in the school, what happen with you and you don’t even know my friend’s names.” "I don't care just come back please." "No way, I'm not going back to that crazy house. The real people who cared and weren't paid to act out for me are my friends. My REAL friends." "But-" "Look I know you're trying to help my parents get me back but I'm not going back no matter what. and besides," Danto said walking towards Rainbow "I already with someone that's special to me and I'm special for her. And you all can't realize that." "Danto, we can see you want to be here with your friends, but you need to come home now!" "I'm staying!" "You're Coming with US!" "No, I'm not." Danto's parents ran to grab him as he was trying to break free. "No!" Aldon shouted trying to get to Danto "Everyone, we'll double your allowances if you stop them from getting Danto!" Danto's father said as he and Danto's mother was still dragging Danto to the car. Danto's brothers tackled and pinned Aldon. "Let go!" "No way, we need that money!" one of Danto's brothers said. "Aldon!" Sunset ran to him but was stopped by Danto's sisters. "Your going nowhere!" one of Danto's sisters said. Then he thought of a way on how he can be free and get his brothers and sisters to stay with him at the school. (After 1st) One of Danto's brothers got off of Aldon and stood up and was surprised Danto voice when he sang. In fact, everyone was surprised when he was singing. He brother then joined in. (After 2nd) One by one, both Danto's brothers and sisters got off of Sunset and Aldon as Aldon joined in with the song. Then they all sang as one voice together. (After 3rd) Danto's brothers and sisters realized they were caring around themselves so much, they forgot about Danto growing up. "We're sorry we treated you like you weren't there for 18 years Danto." "Y-You remembered my name." "Just because we didn't notice you, doesn't mean we didn't forget your name." "Thanks." "Well, this is touching. Everyone get back in the car!" Danto's father yelled as he walked to the car. When he looked back, nobody followed him, they just looked at him with disappointment. "Everyone in the car, NOW!" "We're not taking orders from you anymore. After what we realized, all you care is getting us back home." "Listen-" "No! You listen, all this time you were having my brothers and sisters under that house long enough. We are all choosing to live our life the way we want to live it." Danto's father was going to say something when he saw all of the people that are against him. "Fine, you all enjoy life without any parents then. Come on, we're leaving this place." Danto's father said as Danto's mother and Bella got in the car and both drove off. "Well, you all will need to find homes of your own if your gonna be here."
Epilouge“Well, that’s what happened. I found my friend and made new ones, made my brothers and sisters stay and be themselves in this school, and am in a great relationship with Rainbow Dash. I would say this is the best idea I ever choose for my life. If I were to choose to change my choice, I wouldn’t touch it or change my ways whatsoever. It was the best birthday wish I would want to have.” “Hey Danto! Are you done writing about what happened the past few days?” “Just about!” “Come on we need to practice.” “Sorry.” Danto went to the stage and was ready with the guitar he had. “Hey Danto.” “Hey Rainbow. Vinyl looked at him to see what he wanted. "Play this!" he shouted tossing he phone to her. She caught the phone and plugged it in and pressed Play. "Alright Rarity, start us off." [youtube=51PvUQh1PwE] After 10 minutes, Danto and Rainbow were still at the stage while everyone else was at lunch. Danto sighed, "This was the greatest choice I have made in my entire life." "Yes, yes it was." Rainbow said pulling him into a kiss. Danto broke the kiss and said, "I never gonna get over saying the three words of 'I love you'." "I don't think so either." Aldon check on them and said, "Are you guys gonna eat lunch or make out more?" They looked at him then each other. "Give us about 3 minutes." Danto said. "Alright." Danto looked at Rainbow, "Best. Birthday. Ever." as they kissed and proceeded to make out. Author's Note There. The story is done. After writing it for months, it's done.
