In the year 662 Canterlot has been under construction by a few earth ponies name Brown, Pink, Blossom, Cotton Candy, Snuzzle, Minty, Bluebelle, and Butterscotch. Brown and Pink are the oldest earth ponies around in their late seventies. The rest of them are in their mid-sixties besides Snuzzle. She’s two years younger than Brown and Pink. Until two years later when the pegasus and unicorns showed up. Firefly and Medley were both Pegasus and were experts of flying. Glory raised the sun because of her light magic that she made and Majesty raised the moon because of her dark magic.

Coral Grim was born four years ago under the Glory family magic tree of light. She then seeks some wisdom upon her family and her cousins with their dark side magic. Also, she stumbled upon her dark cousins once a few times and doesn't know how they got such power.

One day the Glory family got another foal. They named her Celestia as she was bright as the sun while the dark side of the family found out there getting a foal too, but hasn't been born yet.

Two years later when Celestia wanted to play a game with Coral Grim. The castle is finished, there was a lot of play time for games. She then hugged Celestia with her hooves and headed to the gala and carried Celestia with her left hoof as she walked outside while the sun shined on the back of Coral. They both looked at a few clouds, the breeze touched both of their faces, they both smiled, and then Coral took a deep breath and walked to the gala. The ponies are building the gala for another two years. Coral Grim got there and gave the baby to Princess Sunbeam known as Celestia's mom. "I'm heading over to the library to study some stuff. It might take a few hours," said Coral. Princess Sunbeam nodded her head up and down three times quickly as she understood her situation in her studies. She then took the baby from Coral and smiled.

A half hour passed by while Coral walked to the library. She then opened the library door and got in, then she found some books that she already read last year. Light magic spell class one, mid class light spells. She knows that reading most of these books here haven't been dark magic, but she doesn't know anything about dark magic. Coral only thinks that getting to the dark magic has to go through the restricted access however, she doesn't know how.

Two hours passed by as she read the same boring books over again. She started to get a depression and then sighed, "I wonder if there are any good books in this library," she noticed that the restricted section is always in the magic security lock up. Coral thought to herself, "I might have to sneak in the library at night." as she read some of the light spells from one of the books.

"Hey, Miss. The library is about to close within the next two hours." as the librarian spoke. Coral puts several books back where they belong. After that, she then left the library and walked home in the cold dark. As she walked, she noticed that the beautiful stars are out.

Once she got home, she ate a few vegetables. Coral crosses a mark of the last day of May thirtieth. She then headed to the sink and got some water then took a sip of it. "Ahhh, fresh water I clearly have to know how to use dark magic. Last time I asked from the dark family, and they wouldn't show it to me because I'm not dark enough. All I know is that they're hiding something." She had lots of thoughts and looked at the sink. Coral had both of her hooves in the sink as water dripped. She then turned a valve with her right hoof slowly. She put her hoof back in the sink and washed her face with cold water. Coral grabbed the towel on the right to wipe down her face, then she turned the valve back into place, and headed to her room for a short nap of four hours.

Nine o'clock evening. Coral got up and headed outside in the cold dark rainy night. She then headed over to the librarian house as she snuck to the window. Once there she opened the window quietly and went in. Coral then shaken off the water and made a wet mess. She looked around the dark kitchen room and then closed the window and used a dim light magic spell to see a tiny bit better. She searched around and noticed that there are stairs to the basement, then walked over there, and levitated herself downstairs. Coral heard some weird noise on the left side of the basement floor room. She then got to the basement floor and searched for doors. She noticed a door to her left and opened it slowly as it squeaked slightly loud, and also noticed that the librarian fast asleep and snoring pretty loud. Coral then snuck in the room and try to find the keys. She opened a few drawers quietly, but couldn't find them, then looked at the closet and smiled, she then opened the closet slowly and made a quiet squeaked sound. Coral turned her head left very quickly to see if she woke up however, she noticed she was still fast asleep, and then turned her head back and noticed there was a pair of keys on top of the shelf. She then levitated the keys carefully and noticed there are seven keys. She quickly duplicated the keys, after that Coral puts the real keys back on the shelf and then closed the door as it squeaked.

She then turned around to the right to see if the mare is still asleep. The librarian is still fast asleep with her snoring. Coral puts the keys in her pocket. She then headed to the door as it squeaked very quiet. Soon the floors started to squeak while she snuck. Her heart started to beat really fast. She then snuck out of the room and shut the door very carefully. Coral then levitated herself upstairs and back to the kitchen window. She then opened the window again with both hooves and got out of the house while she shut the window carefully with her magic. Coral noticed it's still dark time with a slight breeze on her back.

Coral Grim headed to the library and opened the door with one of the keys. She then walked in and it's dark in the room she used some light magic that she learned from one of the lights spells. She then found the book of the celestial crest on it and then opened the door that led down stairs. Coral walked down the stairs a few floors that lead to the restricted section. The lock is all dusty and lots of cobwebs on it. It's like they never used this part of the library before. She then started to wonder why. Coral then tried three keys; however, it didn't work. She tried the fourth key that she duplicated and put it in the lock and turned it to the left with her magic. The door suddenly opened while lots of dust in the air. The gate made a weird sound noise like a childish scream. Coral felt like something scary is about to happen. She clearly doesn't know anything beyond this point. She then entered the restricted section of the library. She then shivered a little bit and went in.

The gate slammed itself tight with an evil mare laugh. Coral turned her head to the left knowing there is no way out as the gate disappeared in the fresh red fog. The room floor got very moisture and cold while there was a nasty stench that just entered the room. She stood there shaken and wish to return home.

A few minutes later she knew she couldn't go back as the mist gotten thicker and weird sounds started happening. She walked and exploring the depths of pure darkness.

Hello and I hope you like the intro sure it's kinda terrible... not sure if anyone likes this part so far, but i'm sure the second chapter you might find it your liking .
