Pinkie Pie was in Sugarcube Corner baking some muffins for customers. While she was baking she made sure that she was paid for each order. Soon she served a few more customers and went on her break. She went downstairs and outside. It was a few years after she had saved Sugarcube Corner from closing.
She sat down in her garage that was built by Sugarcube Corner recently. She turned on a lamp and opened up a welding book. She took out a snack from her pocket that she grabbed from the kitchen and stuck it in her mouth and started to eat it as she read her book.
As she read her book she chewed away at her treat. She flipped a few pages once she got done reading them and just continued as the garage grew quiet. She fixed her posture as she read her book while she took another bite of her snack. She finished her snack and somebody knocked on her door.
She got up and went over to her door and opened it. Twilight was standing there. Pinkie Pie smiled and let her friend in. Twilight walked inside and Pinkie Pie closed the door and Twilight spoke.
"I need your help with a pipe in my place again. I didn't mean to disturb you again but its important. My water pipe is broken." Twilight said. Pinkie sat back in a chair and thought to herself. She then looked at Twilight and responded to her friend as she asked her friend the details.
"It's that one in the second by the fourth column wall correct? That's the one that you checked yourself before." Pinkie Pie asked Twilight. Twilight nodded. Pinkie Pie nodded and then went up to her room. grabbed her helmet and then grabbed a small stick welder and started to walk to Twilight's. She stopped and looked back and then giggled.
"Well what are you waiting for?" Pinkie Pie said giggling. Twilight came to her senses and blushed and caught up to Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie and Twilight took a walk to her place which wasn't to far for them. Soon they got inside and Pinkie set her equipment up. Twilight pointed to the wall she was talking about.
"When did it become loose again? What did you do to make it loose anyway. I was sure your place was fine but now I know that I was wrong!" Pinkie exclaimed. Twilight thought for a few moments and answered her. Pinkie put on fire resistant clothing while Twilight spoke to her.
"I don't know. A few hours ago. The other job you did on the pipe didn't do to well and they came off and now it's been pointing outward for an hour now. I didn't do anything to it I swear! Twilight exclaimed. Pinkie Pie nodded at her and prepared to work.
Pinkie Pie got a chair and then brought it over to the pipe. She lit a flashlight up and checked it out. Twilight watched her while she waited. Pinkie inspected it thoroughly. She then put the flashlight away and turned on her welder. She put an electrode into the electrode holder.
"Well now we know what's wrong with your pipe. It's an absolute mess. I'm glad you told me immediately or it would have took along time for you to notice it again. But that's okay I'll weld it this time and then it won't come loose again." Pinkie exclaimed grinning. Pinkie got off the chair and then put on her helmet.
"Stand back Twilight. And maybe look away to." Pinkie warned a bit while laughing. Twilight acknowledged her and went into her kitchen. Pinkie Pie inspected it once more and shrugged. She then put her helmet down, lifted the broken piece and then started to weld it back together to the other pipe.
Twilight felt so embarrassed that she had to get somebody to come over and fix her place. She knew that the broken piece was her fault as she didn't get anybody to check it the last time Pinkie came over to help her. Twilight listened to Pinkie work patiently.
Pinkie Pie paid close attention to her work as she welded Twilights pipe. Twilight sat on her couch as she waited. She listened to Pinkie Pie work on the pipe continuously. She hoped that this would be the last time she needed to fix her pipe. She didn't want to go through this again.
Twilight felt bad for making Pinkie Pie come to her place again to fix a pipe that had came loose after it was supposedly fixed but there was nothing else that she could have done to fix her own pipe in her residence so that was why she had Pinkie Pie come over.
Pinkie Pie stopped welding and took out the electrode And put a new one in. She then continued welding the pipe back together. She made sure that the pipe pieces were sticking together as she didn't want it to screw up her best friend's pipe that was in her residence.
Twilight was very grateful for Pinkie Pie to come over to her place and fix a broken pipe for her. She didn't have the skills to do it herself so she was glad that Pinkie Pie knew how to help her. Pinkie Pie then stopped welding and took out the electrode. She then got off the chair and took off her helmet and jacket.
"There! That should keep your pipe together. If there is anymore trouble with it then come get me and I'll fix it for you again. I won't mind. I'm just frustrated at your pipes. You didn't do anything wrong. I'm hoping that this keeps your pipe together." Pinkie Pie giggled as she told her friend while she inserted the wall back in. She then took off her boots and put her sneakers back on and turned off her machine.
Twilight hugged her as she was extremely happy that her friend helped her. She didn't know what she would have done. She knew that telling Pinkie Pie was the right thing to do. Twilight hugged Pinkie Pie and spoke to her.
"Thanks so much Pinkie Pie. Your a great help. I appreciate you coming over and spending time to fix my pipe for me. That was kind of you. How much do I owe you?" Twilight asked. Pinkie Pie giggled at Twilight's question and spoke.
"Your welcome Twilight. It doesn't cost anything this time around. I understand that you can't afford to spend a lot of money and plus this pipe has been a pain in your tush for quite awhile so it was for free!" Pinkie Pie said. Twilight smiled and she hugged Pinkie Pie who giggled.
They both hung out for a while and then Pinkie Pie packed up her equipment and brought her equipment with her back to her place. Twilight closed her door. She was extremely happy that Pinkie Pie was patent to help her.
