A spell gone wrong. Enterance round: Manehatten

Twilight was walking out of her castle library, holding in her magic aura a book on dimension spells for the mirror portal. As she entered she set the book down and started reading. “I hope these spells will help with going to the human world and to Equestria easier. Sunset has meantioned something about a old legend in the nearby forest of her home.”

Twilight said to herself. Soon her horn started to glow followed by the mirror glowing. Twilight focused on the spell as the mirror glowed a bright purple. Soon the light subsided and Twilight saw that the mirror looked the same, but had a purple glow around it. “It worked” Twilight said “now I can pack some things and go visit my human friends and see what the fuss is all about.”

After Twilight performed the spell she prepared to pack some things, but started to notice something wrong. “huh? The portal hasn't stopped glowing" as the portal showed a darker shade of purple. "I thought the spell worked” Twilight said as she looked in the spellbook again "something isn't right."she muttered to herself. Suddenly the book was pulled out of her grasp and went directly into the portal. “What?! How is that possible?!” Twilight said panicking . The portal then started to pull Twilight towards itself. “This isn't supposed to happen!” she said “Something went wrong! I have to fix it quick!” She struggled but couldn't escape its pull. As soon as she was sucked in she hit her head on the mirrors side and fell unconscious.

Twilight groaned as she started to wake up. She remembered the mirror pulling her in and her hitting her head, which cracked her horn preventing her use of magic. Twilight rubbed her head to try and subside the pain in her head as she looked around and saw that she was still a alicorn. “That's odd” she said to herself “I should've became a human. Wait….this is Manehatten.” she said as she looked around. She was right, she was in Manehatten but it looked darker and more rundown. Most of the buildings she past while walking were covered in holes and some were even left as a pile of rubble. She noticed also there were no other ponies walking around or flying in the skies above . She walked a little down the sidewalk as she suddenly heard a loud explosion from behind her.

She turned around and saw a flaming car glide past her landing on its side as a burning hunk of metal with a older car following. The older orange car had with a white circle on the door with a number eight inside it and two miniguns on the rear fenders as it's main weapons. Then the car skidded to a stop and slowly turned around to face Twilight, who was shocked at what she just witnessed. Twilight was about to say something when suddenly the car started firing towards her sending bullets all over. She ducked under the barrage of bullets whizzing over her head as the car took off after her as she ran into a nearby alley.

Twilight ran as fast as possible through the alley but the car was still after her firing bullets that flew past her head and torso. She was close to the other side of the alley and hoped to hide somewhere nearby when suddenly a green car stopped at the exit. The car was a green Chevrolet Camaro equipped with machine guns on the front fenders and three rockets on a roof rack. Twilight slid to a stop in front of the car as the pony inside shouted at her. “GET DOWN!!” he shouted as four rockets flew from the roof of his car. Twilight ducked just in time as the rockets flew over her and hit the other car sending it into a flaming fireball.

The pony stepped out of the car and walked to Twilight. She saw that he was a young earth pony, blue coat and mane with a silver stripe along it. His cutie mark was two crossed flags and he was wearing some kind of jacket. “Let's go before you get killed.” he said as he got back in his car. Twilight didn't hesitate as she got in, she knew this was the safest to do.

“Who are you?” Twilight said to the stallion. He sighed and looked for the keys “names Speedy Silverstreak. I'm from Ponyville.” Twilight looked at him with a friendly smile “so am I. But who was that you just…..” she said pointing to the burning wreck. “That was Crazy 8…...or No Face as some ponies call him. No eyes, no tongue. Won only one time.” Twilight looked at the wreck and saw the body. He was right, no eyes and his mouth was sewn shut.

He backed the car out of the alley and drove down the road. “What the hell were you doing out there? No pony comes out during the tournament.” Twilight was confused at what he said “tournament?” he looked at her like she lost her mind. “The annual Twisted Metal tournament. The only vehicular death match in Equestria. How do you not know?”

“I'm not from here. I'm from a different Equestria. I'm princess Twilight Sparkle.” As soon as she said her name he slammed the brakes and stopped. “You can't be serious. You're not Twilight Sparkle. Twilight Sparkle has been dead for fifteen years.” Twilight was shocked, she didn't believe she died. Suddenly the car's radio started up.

“Congratulations on the audition round contestants. The first battle will be in Fillydelphia in two days. Only eight will advance from that round. Hope to see you soon.” the radio said before cutting to static. “That voice sounded familiar….” Twilight said. Suddenly they heard music from a distance. “Oh no” the Speedy said “It's her. We have to go now.” he said as he tried starting the car.

Twilight was confused until she saw a ice cream truck through her window. The truck was a Chevrolet step van painted white with pink and blue polka dots, equipped withtwo miniguns on the front, and a flaming pony head on top. “who is that?” she said to Speedy . He was to concern on leaving to notice her question. Twilight looked again and saw the pony leave the truck.

She was pink with a flat mane, wearing white pants with red polka dots, a leather harness around her torso, and a clown mask on her face. What surprised Twilight was the pony's head was on fire and a familiar laugh. “Pinkie Pie?” Twilight said to herself as the stallion started the car and drove off.

Meanwhile the pink pony saw from a distance Twilight looking and got back in her truck. “so…...alive after all these years.” she said with a dark low tone. “not for long. She will pay for what happened to us. Either by me or by my wish from Celestio. Either way she won’t survive this. Not by a long shot ” she said as she drove towards Fillydelphia for the next round.

“Not by a long shot……”

This is something I tried to do. I haven't seen anyone try to mix these two different franchises together (Twisted Metal and My Little Pony) but I hope this gets some people's interest. Any ideas for future chapters let me know in the comments.
