The hunt for love
questions being answered
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI woke up to another gunshot. I shot up and looked around the room. I quickly look towards my guns to find that Applebloom had touched my m16. I frowned and stared at Applebloom. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!?!" She looked at me with a sad face. 'Oh, now she's tryin' to get out of trouble. She doesn't know me that well then because I never fall for that even for a pony' "Oh no you don't. Don't try to whine your way out of this one." She stared at the ground. "I was just seeing if that thing did the same thing." My frown went to a line on my face. I looked at her and lifted her chin to get her to look me in the eyes. "Yes it does the same thing, now wipe the tears off your face." She reached up with a hoof and rubbed her eyes. "How did you pull the trigger anyway?" "I just reached in with my tongue." "Ok, what persuaded you to lick the trigger on the first one?" "I thought it was black licorice and I wanted to taste it." I looked at her and face palmed. I looked at Applejack and saw that she hadn't even woken up yet. 'Damn and I thought I was a heavy sleeper.' I nudged Applejack and she started to stir. "Applebloom if you don't want to get in more trouble you might want to leave this room quickly." And with that Applebloom ran out the door and closed it. Applejack then woke up and looked at me. I simply smiled and looked at her. She looked at me and smiled back. We both leaned in and got into a passionate kiss with our tongues wrestling for dominance of the other.
After the kiss we got up and went out of the room. I looked outside to only notice that it was too early for us to go to work. So I decided that having a little breakfast couldn't hurt. I walked to the kitchen and began to cook. I got some apples and tried my best to make pancakes out of them. Before they were finished I walked back to my room and got the secret ingredient, Chocolate. I walked back to the kitchen and took off little pieces of the chocolate bar and dropped it in the pancakes. I was soon finished with making around eight pancakes and walked to the table with Applejack sitting there. I gave her four pancakes and I kept the rest. I didn't take a bite out of mine until I saw the reaction of how she thought. She took a bight and went from a tired look to a one of astonishment. "What the hay?" She took another bite out of her pancake to taste again. "What did you put in this here pancake?" "That's my little secret Ingredient your tasting right there." "Tastes good." "Thanks."
We finished our pancakes and walked out side to find a beautiful view of the sunrise. I put my arm around Applejack and looked at her. She was in the perfect place where if I crouched down I could see her in the way of the sunrise that reflected off her orange coat. I started to walk towards the barn to only stop and think. 'Probably not going to see any coons today. Might as well go ahead and help Applejack.' I walked up to Applejack and started to walk towards the orchard. "Ain't you gonna go and find the coons and stop them?" "Naa, their probably all gone anyhow. So I thought I might as well go ahead and get to kick'n trees with ya." "Alright if ya want to I ain't stopin' ya."
We made it all the way to the orchard within five minutes. We then started to kick tree's for the apples. "So did you have a good dream last night Applejack?" "Oh yea, I had a really good dream. I'll have to tell you about it later tonight." Her saying that got a smile on my face like I saw my favorite desert sitting on a table in front of me. I know what is going to happen tonight, I know the subject of what she was dreaming about, and I know that it is going to happen.
After kicking a couple of trees for their delicious Apples, we went to the house to find something to eat for lunch. When we got there we found Applebloom, Big Macintosh, and Granny Smith all sitting at the table, each enjoying their food. I walked to the kitchen and decided to make something that we probably all liked. I grabbed some apples and began to peel them. I then made some crust and put the apple slices in it. I then put crust over it and put it in the oven.
After around thirty minutes, it was finished. I grabbed the apple pie and brought it into the dinning room. I found that everypony was in there drooling. 'Must of made a great pie if they are drooling before they even took a bite out of it yet.' I put he pie in the middle of the table and began to cut it into slices. After doing so I grabbed a plate and put a slice on it. "Who wants the first piece?" Applebloom shot up like a bullet and ran towards me. I gave her the plate and watched as she immediately began to chow down on it. The rest walked up to me and I handed each of them a piece. I finally got my piece and walked towards my chair next to Applejack. I took a bite and watched everypony else to see their reactions. I watched as all of them turned into ones of amazement. "This here's a good pie sunny." "Eeyup" "Yahoo thats a good pie." "Dang, Brian, didn't know you could cook a good pie too." I watched as they stuffed the rest of their pieces of pie. I smiled and ate mine slowly.
After eating the pie, me and Applejack went back to getting apples. We ended up having a contest of who could kick the most tree's the quickest. We kicked around fifty tree's and kept on going. We were neck and neck and couldn't stop. By the time we stopped we were both out of breath, tired as hell, and ran out of tree's to kick. We looked at each other and smiled. We were both sweating so much that both of us were soaked. I looked in the sky to find the moon up high. I looked at Applejack and smiled. "So what was that dream, Applejack?" "It was one where we were both sweaty as buck and rutted like there was no tomorrow." I smiled. 'Ha so she planned us to do this all day and thought a contest would work. Smart gal new how to play me.' I looked at her and picked her up. "Guess what Applejack." "What?" "Your dream is about to come true."
