Ch1. Who's ever glad to see the merchant?
Ch:1
"...So wow... This is what a comic-con is like" whispered Tod. We all dumbly in agreement as we stood in awe at the entrance of comic-con. It was huge!
We had decided to go to comic-con this year. We had dressed up as our favorite characters.
Tod was dressed as Orochimaru from Naruto.
Sam was dressed as Carnage from Marvel.
Dan was dressed as Deadpool who was also from Marvel.
Jack was dressed as Cell in his first form from DBZ
Dante was dressed as Devimon from Digimon
Seven was dressed as Severus Snape from the Harry Potter book series.
Deth was dressed as Darth Maul from Star Wars
and Molan was dressed as Molag Bal from the Elder Scroll game series
After a while, we decided to go look at the stands. One really got our attention, it was runned by this guy dressed as the Merchant from Resident Evil 4, and on display was a Replica of the Snake summoning contract from Naruto, the tail of Cell which Jack's costume unfortunately lacked do to not having the right materials, black claws which Sam's costume lacked and could use to make his costume look more like the comic version, a miniature replica of the Basilisk from Harry Potter which would go perfect Seven's collection of monster replica’s from the Harry Potter books, a black digivice with a red trim which Dante thought looked cool, a replica of Molag Bal's mace from Skyrim and which was also one of the most powerful weapons in the game, a replica of Deadpool's belt , a replica of Darth Maul's lightsaber and Darksaber.
We immediately went to the stall and asked for the items. They were even fairly priced! Molan was about to hand the guy running the stall the money but his hand stopped midway and a look of and shock realization came over his face "is dressed like the Merchant, has a stall at comic-con, has items we all want, prices are suspiciously fair.... you're the Merchant aren't you?" he then deadpanned, all of our eyes widened with shock, as we all went through the same checklist in our heads and we all came to the same conclusion. Oh, freakin Tartarus he is the Merchant!
The Merchant sighed "you're going to run away screaming like the last person to figure that out aren't you?" crossing his arms waiting for us to run away screaming as he said.
We all looked at each other and smiled. "No way" began Dan "This is a dream come true!" he all but squealed, barely . We all nodded in agreement. We all had reasons to want to become our character's and go to the land of MLP and we knew we'd probably end up in a version of it where Celestia was a bitch and we all end up with a harem or a herd as it's apparently known as in Equestria.
The Merchant blinked, clearly not expecting that reaction "Okay thank you, here's a little something extra as a thank you" he then handed us a large cardboard box with our items as we handed him the money. We all smiled as we blacked out.
We all groaned as we got up. And looked around to only to gasp and joy in shock we saw each other. We were literally our characters! Tod was now Orochimaru he was wearing an Akatsuki cloak except instead of red clouds it had red snakes curling down the arm sleeves and one on the back circling the kanji for snake. Sam now had the Carnage symbiote covering his body. Dan was now Deadpool. Jack was now Cell in his first form. Dante was now Devimon except the symbol on his chest was red instead of orange. Seven was now a somewhat younger more handsome version of Snape. Deth was now Darth Maul as he appeared in the phantom menace except he shoulder length smooth black hair. Monlan was now Molag Bal except he had a pair of wings that looked to be a cross between bat and dragon wing coming out of his back.
They began to inspect their new bodies. Deadpool after he stopped destroying their eardrums by squealing like an anime school girl began flexing his muscles which caused them to roll their eyes at the newly merc with the mouth.
Than the bagan to inspect their surroundings they found themselves in some kind of forest which made them conclude they were in Everfree forest. They then noticed a large black wooden trunk with a silver lock sitting on the ground in front of them.
“This must have been the box the Merchant gave us” said Snape as he crouched down in front of the trunk inspecting it, he than waved his hand in front of the lock which then unlocked with a resounding click.
“How did you know to do that?” Asked Maul with an raised eyebrow.
A look of uncertainty crossed Snape’s face before he answered “I do not know”. Snape was about to stand up only to be pushed to the side by Deadpool, causing Snape to fall on his but to the side.
Deadpool bent his back and stuck his butt out and gripped the lid of the trunk “Now let’s have a lookie” said deadpool, he wiggle his bottom then threw open the trunk,then promptly fell in it and screamed like goofy.
We all blinked and ran to the trunk and cautiously peered inside, which revealed a grey stoned spiral staircase leading into the depths. After we walked down the ridiculous amount of stairs we found as a Deadpool a slowly regenerating splat puddle in a simple square stone room with doors on all sides. Then we heard the voices that would haunt us the rest of our lives, well at least one that was terrible enough to haunt us the rest of our lives and it was yellow.
“Ewwww! Road kill! Kill it! Burn it! Hit with a shovel repeatedly!” screamed the insane sounding, annoying as heck yellow voice.
“You realize that Roadkill is us right?” Deadpanned the blue voice.
“Oh great!” said Cell, face palming “we can hear them too!”, the rest of us, minus Deadpool, groaned in agreement.
“Hey look giant grasshopper and a ugly gargoyle! Run for your lives!” screamed the yellow voice
anime tick marks appeared on Cell’s and Molag Bal’s foreheads.
Maybe this won't be as great as we thought we would.
