What's going and what have I been doing?

There's a flash of light and the smell of burning ozone as a griffin rises out of the smoke, looking around the room he notices that he is in a bathroom, there is some sort of loud music booming in the background. Pushing off the floor he trots over to a mirror, pulling the chain and purging the darkness out, sending the room into the light. Gasping as he looks himself over seeing that his head feathers are ruffled and matted with dirt and small traces of blood. Reaching out he tries to grab the handle at the sink and cringes as he looks at his talon, one of the claws is popped out of the joint.

He grabs it with his good one, biting his beak he pops in place, reaching out to turn the water on and splashed some on his face, looking around he notices some words painted on the wall "The Dawn".

"So that's where I am," Looking around some more then scratching the back of his head he lets out a yelp of pain. Looking at his talon seeing that there is some blood on it.

"W-Why....Am I bleeding?" He says looking at the mirror seeing that there is a cut above his eye.

"Did I get into a fight?" He thinks trying to remember something, but he can't remember what happen and starts to panic as he hears the door that he was looking for crack open reviling a earth pony, he stops walking and notices the griffin staring at him and panics running out yelling something about a griffin with blood on it and the music stops.

Blowing the feathers that fell in front of his face up "That doesn't sound good."

He gets up and walks to the door opening it a crack and looking out seeing the ponies running around in a panic, he opens the door the rest of the way and walks out, notices that his mouth is getting dry he walks over to the bar. The bartender hears somepony approach and turns around and jumps, dropping the cup he was cleaning.

"Are you ok" The griffin asks with a perplexed look, looking at the glass on the floor and back up at the bartender, Sighing he orders a drink. "Can I get a glass of water, Please."

The bartender looks from the glass to the griffin and walks away getting water for the griffin, he comes back with a glass and pours the water, he stops and backs away from the griffin.

"Thanks for the water" Picking of the glass and he starts to drink it as a blue glow surrounds it "What?". Scratching his head looking at the glass he turns around and his breath catches in his throat as he is now looking at five palace guards "What, why are they here?".

"Hello officers," He offers out his talon and they all tense up looking like he was going the attack them.

"What are you doing here griffin!" The guards states taking a defensive stance looking at the griffin who now looks extremely confused.

"What do you mean?"

"You have been spotted as the griffin that was breaking into a house, looking around and leaving, yelling in the street and then flying away with blood on your face. The ponies house that you broke into has not been found as of yet, so you are to be taken to the palace to be asked some questions!" The guard states looking back at the griffin trying to get the glass of water that's still floating, he stops and looks at the guard.

"And what if I don't know what you're talking about and don't want to go?" He asks returning to the glass.

"Then we will make you!" His horn starts to glow a bright orange as a ball of magic starts to form.

The griffin looks back over at the guard crossing his forearms. "Nope"

"So be it." He fires the orb of magic at the griffin, who dodges it to only get hit by another one. The last thought on his mind was. "But.....my water." Then everything starts to shift as there is a throbbing feeling in the back of his head and starts to fall forwards hitting the ground.

His eyes crack open only to be assaulted by the sun shining through the carriage windows.

"Stupid sun!" He grumbles sitting up looking out the window noticing the castle getting closer.

There is a sound as the carriage lands and the door open reveling one of the guards, they levitate him out and carry him trough the castle to the throne room, the door opens and sitting up at the top of the stairs in a very large throne was one of the princesses of equestria, Princess Celestia.

The guards bow as she gets up, she nods her head and they stand up and tell her about the griffin that they are holding but the griffin in question is not noticing that because he is to distracted by the size of the room and freaked out and confused about what's going on.

Celestia stops talking with the guards and walks over the griffin he has his back to her, she clears her throat, the griffin turns and jumps not expecting her to be there. A brief grin crosses her face going unnoticed by the guards.

"What is your name, griffin?" Her tone is demanding but calm.

"My name is Neo, your majesty" He says in a bow, well as good as somegriffin could floating in the air.

"Thank you and ..." She pauses looking at the guards then back at Neo narrowing her eyes. "and is what the guards said true about what you did"

Looking at her he shrugs, "I have no idea if it is or not, I woke up in a bathroom with blood on the back of my head" Neo reaches around to the back of his head and the blood has dried. " But buy the look of what might of happen and the fact that my head was bleeding and I had a splitting headache I would say, Yes" Neo goes back looking around the room as Celestia takes what he says in a couple of minutes later he looks back at her.

"I think we need to put you in the dungeon" His face falls as he start to freak out but Celestia put a hoof up to stop it. " But not because you did it but because you can't remember if you did or not and we would not want a criminal running around. That is why" She looks down at me. "Guards take him to cell number seven in the dungeons, I think that our guest might like that" She turns and walks back to the throne as the guards start to take Neo away.

The trip to the dungeon is not as far as Neo thought it was going to be, on the way to the cell there is a door that looks like it was reinforced to stop a dragon. He asks a guard what is behind it and he shudders so Neo drops the question. We finally come to a stop as the cell door open and he's thrown into the cell.

The cold floor and the musty smell of old water hits his nose and as he pushes himself up of the floor on to the cot, laying there I start to think about what happened.

"Why am I here in equestrian and what have I done in the town, why was there blood on the back of my head and what was the burn makes around me from and why am I getting tried all of a sudden"

Neo yawns starts to drift off to the land of dreams. His eyes snap open and he notices that he is not in the dungeon, he is not even at the castle, he's on the edge of a cliff looking off over the valley below. There is a breeze as it throws his head feathers in to his face startling him as he starts to fall into the opening behind him, using forearms and trying to dig into the muddy slope as he comes to a stop, flips over and slams his head into the floor jarring his vision. He shake his head clear as he starts to hear voices taking about something around the corner, he starts walking over and looking around it.

He stopped and saw two changeling taking one was a little bit bigger that the over one and they seemed to be figuring out what they have to do.

"What are we going to do, sssir?" The smaller one asks.

"I don't know let me think, and stop doing that in sounds strange" The bigger one says looking around the cave.

"Ssssorry.....'cough' Sorry" The smaller one says looking at the spot were I'm at.

Neo slowly walks backwards and steps on a rock with his hindpaw and yelps. He doesn't move and the changelings stop taking and look over to where he's at. The bigger one starts to walk towards Neo glaring at him.

"What are you doing here?"

"I was lost and didn't know where I was." Neo says taking a step back from the changeling.

"Were you going?" The smaller changeling asks as his wings start to buzz.

"Nowhere" Neo says backing into the wall as the smaller changeling lunging at him biting his shoulder there is tearing sound as a chunk of meat falls out of the changelings red mouth as the blood from his shoulder starts to stain his tan feathers red.

"Aaahhhhh" Neo rolls over holding his shoulder looking up at the changeling that has a manic look in his face as the bigger one knocks the smaller one out of the way, looking at the changeling then the griffin.

"Why, Did you do that!?" He yells at the smaller one. "We needed him alive not" He pints to the griffin. " on the floor in a" His eyes squint. "Slowly growing pool of blood?" The bigger changeling sighs walking over the other changeling and punching him in the side of the face. There was a cracking sound as the side of the smaller ones face starts to bleed an acid green.

"Now help me move him" He says as he starts to pick up one side on Neo and the smaller one picks up the other side.

They carry Neo through the cave and put the slope that he fell down, there is no sound other that the hoofsteps of the changelings walking on the stone floor. The cave wall are a dark gray with some splotches of red here and there, like the was a fight, but if you look closer at them you notice that it's not blood but of paint. Neo is still being carried to the opening as they get closer he can see that the changelings are malnourished and look tired. They got to the top and dropped Neo on the ground.

"There, now you're out." The bigger one says as he starts to fly away he stops and come over and picks up the smaller one and they leave Neo on the ledge as they dive over the side and disappear.

The ledge starts to crack and chunks fall away as Neo falls down the side of the cliff, he turns his head and spots the ground rushing up to meet him.

"Aahhhhh!" He slams into the floor and looks around to see that he is in his cell still. He hears a noise and looks up the see two glowing green eyes.

Neo lays there staring at the eyes, he blinks and they're gone. He looks around in the dark to find the eyes again but he can't so he climbs up onto his bed and lays down looking at the ceiling. Neo tries to remember where he has seen eyes like them but he falls asleep.

Waking up in a cold dungeon is okay, waking up in a cold dungeon with the same glowing green eyes that were starting at you but they also have a cheshire like grin is not, that is the situation that Neo finds himself in so he does the only logical thing he can.

"Aahhhhhh!" The creature blinks and continues starting slowly getting closer and Neo tries to sink into the bed more. The creature blink then moves it face out of his as it sits down, Neo looks over at it to notice that it's a changeling so he starts yelling again, the changing sighs looking at the yelling griffin before getting mad as it eye starts to twitch.

"Stop, your insolent yelling this instance," The changeling shouts.

Neo stops, sits up and looks over at the changeling, after getting a better look at the changeling noticing who it is he starts to shake before starting to yell, but is stop by the changeling.

"No, No yelling if you yell again I will end you," It starts to laugh at the scared look that Neo's face looks like. "Now that was funny, I was just joking about the ending you part"

"What?"

"I said, I was joking"

"Why?"

"It's boring in here," Says the changeling looking around the cell.

"No, I meant why are you here y-your ch-chr.."

"Chrysalis, yes that is me" Chrysalis says.

"Y-Yah you, you're t-the queen of the cha..."

"Former Queen" She says interrupting him starting to look depressed the fun atmosphere is frozen on the spot and Neo looks contused.

"Huh....What do you former queen is you don't mind me asking that is," Neo says scratching his shoulder.

Still looking at the ground, "No, I need to tell someone this, here is what happened and this is the reason I'm all alone"

Chrysalis looks around from the crater that she is in seeing all her changelings on the ground, some are bleeding profusely and some are not moving. She shakily gets up, the crack running up her the side of her chitin shifts making her grimace in pain, looking out at the mass of changeling that are on the ground she spots some that look ok but as she gets closer, one of them has stick in its side.

Walking through the masses looking more depressed as she goes on, the ones that can stand up look at her, then go help that ones that are not dead. The changeling group back up, they look over at their falling ones, then walk away and stand by the Queen. After a month of running and stealing small amounts of love they run out so Chrysalis decides to go look for some herself, she wanders in to a town and is surrounded by royal guards.

"We have to scan you to make sure your not a changeling," The guards says.

"What," She blinks looking at them before understanding what he said. "N-No" She takes a step back as the guards horn starts to glow as a wave of light crashes into her knocking her on the ground as her disguise is forcibly remove, yelling in pain as it feels like her chitin is melting off of her, it stop as she breath heavily there is a gasp.

"It's the Changeling Queen", "What's she doing here", "We have to stop her", "No, no no no she can't be here" The group behind the lead murmur.

The main guard snaps out of it, "Get her!" He yells as they start to grab her and pull her through town to a carriage with a cell on it, she sees this and starts to shake.

"No let me go I have to save them," She starts to trash around. "It's all my fault," Tears start to form under her eyes."I have to save them, let me go," They throw her into the cage, she tries to grab the bars but her forearms fall as she is too weak to grip them.

"Let me go," She mumbles over and over again as the carriage moves farther and farther away from the town and from her starving changelings.

They arrive at Canterlot and bring her to Celestia but she falls to the ground, Chrysalis looks up to see Celestia and shudders, Celestia looks at Chrysalis wondering why there is tear marks on her face, she dismisses it as the guards start to tell Celestia were they found her she sits there and listens to them. When they stop she tells them to take Chrysalis to the dungeons and see that Chrysalis shakes and starts to cry as they carry her out of the throne room, all the while Celestia is wondering why Chrysalis is crying.

In the coming weeks as she lays on her bed she can sense the changelings that she save start to die, after about a month and a lot of crying and depression the last changeling dies leaving Chrysalis all alone so she ends what connection to the hive she has, she just starts at the wall across from the cell not eating or caring what happens anymore because she know that she has failed all of her subjects by getting them all killed in a last ditch effort to save them all.

In the months that fallowed she slowly started to eat the food that was given to her, before if she didn't eat the guards just tossed it on the floor. Now they sit it down on the floor for her, but they are still worried that she might try to attack them. After a while she got better be still remember her fallen lings and wanted justice for them. One night when she was sleeping there was a sound and the cell open, she backed against the wall not knowing what they were doing, they walked in caring something in the air, she see that what they are carrying is a griffin and was wondering why they were until they through it on the floor. She sat there watching it with i

She continues to stare at the griffin as it starts to thrash around in its sleep before yelling, falling out of the bed and looking over at her, she just stares at it before closing her eyes and lays down to sleep, but as she falls asleep she grins.

Waking up before the griffin, she slowly got out of bed and walked over to the griffins bed as it looked like he was about to wake up, she got right in his face staring at him as he wakes up she starts to move closer as he moves away she blinks, then moves her face, she sits down waiting for him to do something.

"Stop," Neo says holding up a talon.

"What....oh sorry, but that's what happen," She says looking at the floor until there is a banging sound and they both look up and see a guard with trays of mush. He sits them down and leaves as they start to eat. Once they finish eating he looks over at Chrysalis.

"Does Celestia know that because of what she that all the changelings that were with you died?" He asks looking at her with a sad look on his face, he never thought that Celestia would let something like that happen.

She yawns looking over at him, "No she does not and I'm not telling her because she wonder believe me anyway,"

"Oh, then I will tell her," He looks at her. "Because she needs to know how much pain she caused you and you won't or can't tell her so I will!" Neo stats, he looks back at Chrysalis she looks angry, her horn starts to glow a sickly green as one of the food tray launches through the air and imbeds itself in the wall with a hum about an inch or two away from his neck, he looks at the tray then looks back at her with wide eyes, he horn glows again.

"I think it's time to go to sleep," She glares and Neo "Don't you think!"

She unleashed a wave of energy from her horn the glow surrounded him as his head starts to buzz and the buzzing noise keeps getting louder as he covers his ears, his vision starts to fade, he falls over as she levitates him onto his bed as the buzzing stops he passes out.

Author's Note

I did a rewrite of this because the first one didn't sound good. If you could tell me how to make it flow better or how to make the dialog better. Really if you find something that needs fixed comment on it, if you want to that is. :applejackunsure:

Neon awakens with a jolt slamming his face into the tray that's in the wall. He yelps rubbing his nose, he grabs the tray and starts pulling in only to get it to move a couple inches, as he is busy on the tray he doesn't notice the guard standing at the cell door behind him.

"What are you doing…?" The guard asks perplexed.

Neo turns around and stars at the guard. "Ah" He starts to move forwards but he slams his face into the tray again holding his face looking at the guard, they stare at each other.

The guard rubs his face looking a Neo. "That looks like it hurt!"

Neo glares at the guard and looks back to his bed then to the guard, he shrugs his shoulder and lays back down pretending the guard is not there, but that is hard to do when he keeps on yelling things.

"Get up" The guard states Neo rolls over and puts the covers over him.

"Get up!" The guard yells as his horn starts to glow with the faint red. He pulls Neo off the bed and slams him into the bars.

“What are you doing” Neo moaned from the floor cracking his bones making sure they're ok.

"I was sent down here to get you" The guard says looking at Neo.

Neo grimaces and looks up at the guard. "Well, I'm up now" He says grinning rubbing his face.

The guard glares at Neo as he grins back at the guard. "I'm going to open the door so..." He looks up a Neo with a red tint around him. "...Never mind" The guard floats Neo away from the door as he grabs his keys to unlock the cell door. Neo floats out, the guard drops him on the ground and tells him to wait as he walks over and locks the cell door. The guard looks at Neo and his horn lights up again, Neo feels a slight tingly feeling over his hold body then it's gone.

The guard looks at Neo as he starts to freak out. "I just cast a charm on you that make it so if you try to escape Canterlot it will paralyze you until a guard finds you and brings you back so don't leave because if you stay outside the area of the charm too long you might die."

"So what's all this for?"

"You get to go outside and walk around because the princesses trust you right now not to cause problems; I don’t know why they would ever do this." The guard mumbles the last part as he picks Neo up and carries him to the door to the dungeon, he motions for the guard to wait, Neo looks over a Chrysalis asking her if she wants to come with but all he gets is a annoyed grunt as she rolls over. The guard walks down the hallway as Neo follows, looking around he spots the metal door again, and there are claw marks on it. He looks at the guard asking him what’s in the room, the guard looks at the door, shuddering he tells him to move on and to leave the room alone.

They arrive at the exit, the guard puts Neo o the ground as he opens the door and pushes him out telling but before the door closes the guard starts to tell him what not to do in the city the list is really long so Neo starts to lose interest in it and starts thinking of what he is going to do in the city. Neo gets off the floor as the guard stops talking; he tells the guard that he will be back later. The guard turns and leaves closing the door behind him. Neo starts to wander around trying to get out of the castle and ends up getting lost on the way.

"Why…why is this castle so big?" Yelling as he walks down the tenth hallway that he has passed in the last hour or more of walking.

Neo stops as he almost walked into a door, he looks up and stares at it, the door is twice as tall as he is and made with a gold and silver trim running the sides of it, the inner part of the door has the emblem of the sun on it. Neo starts to reach a talon to the door only to wince back as his talon starts to burn the closer to the door he gets, there is a loud shrieking sound as Neo's eyes go pale he drops his talon and grabs the sides of his head as the floor rushes up to meet his face.

Crack.....

The sound of something in pain outside her door alerts her as she sat the papers she was looking over down on the desk walking over the door her horn starts to shimmer a gold color as the door opens and out walks a white unicorn with a sunset yellow mane, she looks down to see a griffin laying on his side with a small amount of blood around his face.

Philomena is sitting on the griffin, looking at the unicorn questioningly as she pokes her beak into his head, the griffin stirs meaning that he isn't dead yet but the unicorn can see his shallow breathing.

Every bone in Neo's body feels like it’s on fire as he floats in an empty black void.

"Ahhh....make it stop!" Neo screams as tears start to form in his eyes.

"Stop screaming like a baby." A voice nonchalantly says. "You need to focus on my voice."

Neo tries to listen to the voice but the pain is too much as he starts to pass out.

"No, don’t do that!" The voice yells as it starts punching Neo until he is not on the verge of passing out.

"I was trying to be nice to you as seeing how you just tried to get into my friends room without permission" The voice says wiping the blood off its talons.

"W...w...h...at?" Neo moans out holding his side looking at the parsing red eyes.

"There was a griffin trying to get into her room what was a supposed to do let some griffin assassin in, No so I had to stop you" The voice says looking at the griffin with a crazy look in its eyes and a slightly panicked voice.

Neo looks at the voice thinking of what it said "What! Ahhh *gasp* my side!” Clutching his side he looks over at where he thinks the voice is. “I'm not some assassin; I was lost because the castle is so big"

"Oh" The eyes droop and the form sighs "Well, I’m sorry about this but it might hurt"

"What" Neo asks as his eyes start to burn. Neo yells as he opens his eyes to see the same red ones gazing at him but not from a griffin or pony but from a phoenix. The bird stares at his and he stares at the bird, the unicorn watching coughs and they both turn their heads to look at here. The unicorn spots the blood on the ground remembering that the griffin was bleeding.

"A..are you ok" The unicorn asks looking at them as the griffin and bird start staring at each other again.

"Yes, other than the fact that I'm bleeding on the floor, I will be back later" Neo mumbles.

Neo gets up and Philomena flies off his shoulder as he stands, she lands back on it glaring at him.

"So you’re coming with me I guess?" Neo questions her as she stares at him.

Philomena takes one of her wings and hits Neo in the head and points to the door. Neo grumbles and looks at the door then back at her.

"I sorry that you thought I” Neo looks at Philomena with mock offence” was an assassin and attacked me for no reason" Neo grins at Philomena, "Is that good?"

Philomena shrugs her shoulders as Neo started to walk away the unicorn that was standing there stopped him with a grimace looking at the blood on the side of his face, "Shouldn't you go to the infirmary...just watch out for the Doctor she can be a bit crazy at times." The unicorn turns to see that Neo is gone, "I really hope he heard the last part." She shudders closing the door.

"I'm sorry but this might sting." The Doctor said as she gets a cotton ball with peroxide on it and starts moving closer to him.

"Ah, what are you doing? The blood is from my ears and beak so why the cotton ball." Neo tells her backing up as she gets closer.

“Because it might be from a wound, and we don’t want that getting infected now do we” The Doctor states moving closer and closer as Neo starts to panic.

“But I don’t like cotton balls they feel weird” Neo moans looking at the cotton ball.

She looks at me and tilts her head she starts swaying on her hooves with a manic grin as she gets closer, "I have to do this as my job as a Doctor."

Neo backs up to a table as she gets closer he tells her to stop but she won't leave him alone. He looks around for a place to hide, it’s behind one of the shelves, he jumps off the table and runs around to the other side of the shelve.

He peaks out to see where she went, "What, She was just there" He mumbles looking around the room.

"What are we looking for...?" The Doctor grins. His breath catches in his throat as he turns his head and looks the Doctor in the eyes hers are massive and creepy looking, his shrink to pin pricks.

"..." Neo gulps, "Ahh" There is a loud crashing sound and a flapping of wings as he flies into a shelf's knocking it over as a green glow envelops his hindlegs pulling him back as he tries to get free he slips on metal tray and slams his head in to the floor again.

Neo wakes up trying to move as he can't because there are straps holding him in place, there is a noise that sound like a bone saw starting up. The Doctor appears in his face holding the saw; she gets right next to his face.

"Don't move, we wouldn't want you to cut that face of yours" She says dragging a hoof down his face as she leaves.

The Doctor walks over to a tray with tarp over it, she removes the tarp to see the shiny metallic tools that normally are used to help patients but now there just causing fear. There are different types scalpels sitting there and a, bone hoof saw, clamps, Retractors and there are many other things but what she picks up is the worst thing of them all it’s the cotton ball. She picks it up humming as she walks over to Neo starting at the cotton ball in pure terror.

The cotton ball touches his face and he yells, "Keep calm and stop yelling its only a cotton ball you silly" Shaking her hoof in his face.

After an hour or two of the Doctor cleaning his face and side off with a cotton ball she is done.

"There that wasn't so bad was it?" The Doctor asks as Neo is sitting on the floor rocking back and forth. Philomena is sitting above him shaking her head at him.

"I...I...have to g...go" He states stumbling out the door and into the hallway.

“Now let’s get something to eat”

He walks across the room and open the doors and sees that his is at the garden, it's nice he walks around and look at all the plants. Looking around he spots a place to sit and walks over to the edge and sits down to look out over the landscape its nice being out here in the crisp cold air. He sat there for a while before starting to get hungry so getting up and jump over the ledge “I probably could have walked back but this seemed better". "I really hope the barrier stops farther out because I would rather not get stuck" He say as starting to fall faster and right before he collides with some trees his wings open and he rotates his body so he is level, flies on back to Canterlot.

I end up finding some place to eat it's a small shop that sells sandwiches and salads; walking over to one of the servers and ask them if he can get something to eat.

"Why could you not get to eat here" He asked me looking confused at the question.

"Oh no reason I just didn't know if you serve food to a griffin" I tell him looking at the shop.

"Is that all, we feed griffins all the time when they come through here “He says " So would you like something to eat then" He asks

"Yes I would" He says and goes to sit down at one of the tables, turns out that griffins can eat daisy sandwiches but it doesn't taste good it tastes like flowers so he orders a salad. Remembering that someone’s missing, he starts to look around before spotting her sitting on one of the street lights, motioning for her to fly down to the table she does after landing she looks at him wondering what going on. He hands her a piece of lettuce from his salad. She looks at the lettuce and back at him before eating it; she grins before flying of the table and starts flying around.

"Hey, Do you know where there are any book stores around here" I ask him watching Philomena fly around.

"There is one right around the corner" He tells me

"Thanks" I say as I leave “Want a minute I didn’t pay” Shrugging his shoulder he keeps on walking until he find the store the waiter was talking about. The building looks like it was made with a gothic architectural style. Looking in one of the windows in the front of it and seeing that they have a poster for the new daring do book, Before opening the door he asks Philomena to wait outside, he opens the door it dings and someone shows up, it’s a gray coat and light blue mane her cutie mark is a book with a light behind it and she is a Pegasus.

"What do you need" She asks putting away some of the books that she was carrying.

"I was looking for a book and noticed that you have a sign up in the window for the new daring do book do you have any in stock" He asks looking around the shelves, he slides his talon on one and grimaces as there is dust on it, he wipes it off on his side.

"Do you mean Daring Do and the Crystal Pendant" She asks

"Yes that one do you have it" He asks scratching his head.

"We should have it let me go look" Turning to leave she tells him it look around as she goes.

Looking around he finds the mystery section there are books like; Nightmare Moon and the three Manticores, Sherlock Hooves, The Old Kingdom and There is a ghost behind you. There is a noise and Neo turns around to see the mare walking back.

“Here is the book” She says hoofing the book to Neo and as she does his talon touches her hoof and it’s cold.

“Are you ok” He asks as she looks at him then her hoof.

Scratching her head she looks back at him, “You were going to ask about me being cold weren’t you” Neo Nods

“That’s because I like to fly really high up where it’s cold so my body started to get colder to withstand the air, so now when it snows I don’t have to bundle up”

"That’s cool, so about the book how much is it" I ask nervously.

"Because it’s new that makes it 10 bits" She said looking at me

Neo opens his mouth to say something but stops, “Oh”

“Oh, what?” She asks staring at him.

“Could I give you an IOU” Neo asks grinning.

"So what you’re saying is you want me to let you have this book for free if you don’t pay it back" She says glaring at me

"No, I will pay you I just have no money right now" He tells her looking around the room.

Sighing “Fine, Let me tell you this if you don’t pay me back I will find you!" She says looking him in the eyes, a chill goes down Neo’s spine.

"So I can have the book then?"

"Yes, you can but remember what I said!" She says as she gets a bag to put the book in.

"Thanks" I say as a take the bag.

"Whatever just come back later" I hear her say as I leave I look around and see a flower shop and I think about how I angered Chrysalis "I wonder if she likes flowers" I think as I walk into the shop Philomena lands on his shoulder.

The sun starts to lower as the moon comes out, Philomena starts to faintly glow.

“That’s cool you’re like a living night light” Philomena shakes her head and chuckles.

They stumble around until Neo finds a flower shop peering through the windows the see if its open. Neo goes and opens the door, walks in and starts to look around there are flowers arranging from Lilly's to Roses and tons more.

"Hello" Neo says looking around.

"Yes, How may I help you" The pony says as he pops out from behind some shelves.

"AHH"

"Oops" He chuckles "So what do you need”

Neo stop holding his chest and glare back at the florist "I was wondering if you have some Black Rose's"

"Why do you want black roses" He looks at me then smiles "You have a special somepony there for don't you?"

I look around his shop and turn back to him "No…, Not really"

"Oh ok, I will go look in the back" He says as he turns to leave.

I walk around his shop thinking about what I have to do after this and looking around the shop some more, it gets boring so I start poking Philomena, I hear a noise and look behind me to see the florist staring at me then gasps.

“Is…i…s…is that the princess phoenix” He ask mouth agape.

Neo stops poking the glaring Philomena, “Yah”

“Oh no, no, no, no” He starts to freak out. “How did you get her, did you steal her”

Neo and Philomena stare at the pony as he starts to hyperventilate.

“We should probably go help him” Neo says as Philomena just shrugs.

Neo sighs as he walks over to the florist is and starts to get him to calm down so he will listen.

"Ok, so I found some, how many do you need" He looked at me.

"One" I say looking at my talons. I look up at the florist.

"....." He stares at me. “Agh”

"Yah, I only need one sorry for the trouble”

"Here" He said handing me the flower

"Oh and do you have a pencil and paper" I ask

"Here" He hoofs me the stuff glaring at me.

"Thanks" I say as I start to leave, I go and sit down and start to right on the paper.

I'm sorry for being a jerk and making you remember the pain and sorrow you had to go through so I got you this Black Rose.

I stop and look around then I fly back to the castle with Philomena following me. I land at the gardens they look nice at this time of night because of the glow the torches. I walk through the door and start going back to the dungeon but I end up getting lost again and all Philomena does it laugh.

I hear voices and look to see who it is, it is Celestia and a guard talking, It sounds like she was looking for someone named Philomena I look at the phoenix she shrugs and look away the Celestia looks over and notices me or Philomena and continued talking to the guard. They finish and the guard leaves and she starts to walk in the direction I'm standing at around the corner and didn't know how close she was. I look back around the corner and I'm staring at her because she lowered her face which is now level with mine.

"Hello” Celestia says looking at me.

"...Ahh" I'm holding my chest looking at her

"So what are you doing at this time of night" She asks raising her eyebrow looking at my bag and Philomena.

"Um.....I went to get food and stopped at the library" I told her.

"Ok, so what are you doing now and what’s Philomena doing with you" She asks looking at Philomena.

"I was looking for dungeon then I got lost, who is Philomena by the way?" I say looking at the bird and she grins. “You, your Philomena” She nods and Neo face palms. Dumb Bird

“She has been following me around Canterlot today she pretty cool other that the whole min….” Philomena smacks him upside the head. “What!” Neo asks the glaring bird.

“Don't say that i'm not to do that anymore and I would rather not have to scratch you it was fun hanging out.” Philomena says in Neos head.

“Fine” Neo says looking at the Celestia.

"Well do you need help then?"

"Yes" He says looking at the floor now.

"Ok, Follow me than." She says as she turns to leave.

He follows and they look around at the paintings and they finally get to the dungeon.

"Thank you.” He glancing at the metal door as they walk by.

"You welcome."

Neo turn to the guard, He is just staring at him without blinking, walking around him and Neo opens the cell, walks over to Chrysalis, and put the flower and note by her and leaves to go out to the garden.

Walking around to get back to the garden was the easy part but not getting caught was the hard part as Neo walked around a corner he ran into one of the maids knocking her over, the towels that she was carrying went all over the hall.

"He let me help you up" He offers a talon.

The mare just stares at him with a shocked face as Neo walks closer she moves back, he stop and looks at her then to the towels then back to her. Walking over he starts to pick the towels up and they landed in the most inconvenient spot like one that was on a plant or other that way stuck on one of the bars a tapestry was on so he had to hover up to get it. All the while the mare is still sitting there. Sigh...She is no help at all, I wonder what's wrong with her.. Neo finishes and sits the pile next to her, she looks at in and back at Neo before grinning.

"Thank you, this was the first time I have ever seen a griffin." She says looking and him.

"Seriously?"

She nods and walks over to pick up the towels with magic.

"Ok...so...I'm gonna go" Pointing behind himself, the mare nods and walks away she looks over her shoulder to look at Neo but she look forward when he noticed.

...Awkward Walking down the hall he gets to a door and opens it to find...not the garden but the kitchen. Sigh

He hangs out in the kitchen, he gets a lettuces sandwich and walks out the door closing it, walking down the same hallway as before he notices a hallway that he didn't see before, he starts walking down it, opening the door at the end to find the garden. He walks around looking for a nice tree, walking around a bush he find a tree that has a blueish brown trunk and orange leaves "That will work." flying up to one of the bigger ones he lays on his side looking out over the land.

Looking up at the sky. "It's chilly." Neo bundles up with his wings.

Down in the dungeon Chrysalis rolls over and the rose is poking her in the side, she sits up and noticed a flower and a note not to far away from it. "What's this" She opens the note and reads it and looks over at the flower, and she smirks.

"Thanks" Chrysalis says then turns around and goes back to sleep.

Ouch (This will be rewritten but the things in it won't change much)

I stand there my eye twitching, I look around then turn and run. Discord facepaws and looks over to were I’m running, He then derides to teleport in front of me.

“AAAAHHHHH” I yell holding my talons up in front of my face. “Don’t h-hurt me” I mumble out.

Discord stands there looks at me and the trees in the garden, then starts to grin. He summons up a ball, he throws it at the tree it bounces off the tree, hits the fountain, and hits me in the back of the head, my face hits the dirt, I get up rubbing my face and getting the dirt off, I glare at Discord.

“Bull’s-eye” Discord smirks.

I look at him confused and angry. “So what are you doing are you going to try to take over equestria again or what” I ask accusingly as I scratch my cheek.

Discord summons up a cloud of cotton candy and lays down on it. “I don’t know what I’m doing yet” He says putting his arms behind his head “I do know though I’m not going back to stone” He states as a pair of sun glasses appear on his face. I walk over and rip some of the cloud off and eat it, it was the best cotton candy I have ever tasted. I look up to see Discord staring at me he shakes his head and lays back down.

I look at Discord still eating the cloud “So should I tell Celestia or Luna that your ba…” I stop taking as my throat starts to hurt then I start to choke out bubbles.

I look at Discord in fear as my lungs and throat start to burn, he gets up and floats over to me and looks me in the eyes with his yellow ones. “ If you tell them I will make you wish you hadn't , I will make your life chaotic forever until you die because even if I’m gone chaos will still be there watching you, if you tell them I will see you” Then he disappears.

I sit down and think of what happened. “I just got threaten by the spirit of chaos” I say out loud then I kick the ground “This sucks” I say walking back to the castle. I stop, turn and walk back to the pedestal and pick up some dirt and throw it at it. “That’s better” I say walking back.

I walk around to the front of the castle, I just noticed that it is darker out and the night guards are out. They see me and start to point there spears at me one of them accidently pokes me with it.

“Ouch” I say rubbing the spot “So what’s going on in there that you won’t let me in”

The guards look back and forth then at me “You are a griffin and not part of the country, you will need to have permission to see the princesses or get in to the castle”

I look at them confused, I scratch my head and look at them “So what you’re saying is that a prisoner can’t get to his cell to go to sleep, how rude” I say grinning

Their faces now have a shocked look to them and their horns start to glow, they hold me in place and pick me up and start to carry me.

“Oh, cool I don’t have to walk, thanks guys, but shouldn't one of you stay at the front of the castle to guard it.” I say looking around.

One of them facehoofs and walks back to his post “I will stay here” He says

On the way to my cell he stops by Celestia’s room and knocks on the door, it opens a crack and I can see Celestia’s face she blinks and starts to open the door.

“What do you want” She asks and looks at me and the guard, I wave to her and she sighs.

“I caught this griffin and he said that he was a prisoner” The guard says

“Yes he is, I know that I thought Luna told all of you that we have a griffin as a prisoner, but I guess she forgot, just sit him here” She says as the guard drops me.

“Ow” I say on the floor as the guard walks away and Celestia looks at me.

“Come in here” She states

“Why” I ask

“Because we need to talk about how you have been acting here” She says with her back turned as she is walking away.

“OK” I say as I walk in and the door closes.

“You know you can’t act how you do here even though you’re a prisoner you’re also a guest here. What did you do by the way the guards said you were drunk, yelling and being a problem?” She says

“Probably, I don’t remember much of what happened I know about my life and what happened but the weeks of what happen now and before this I don’t remember, say I going to say I lost 2 weeks of my memories, why I don’t know but I’m going to find out what happened.” I stop to breath

“Oh ok, but as I was saying was that you can’t act how you do around me” I open my mouth to say something but she stops me “What I mean by that is, you have to treat me like royalty around my subjects not as somepony that you know” She pauses and looks at me “I bet you don’t act like that to your king”

“Well you lost that bet then, this is how I acted to Titan he doesn't care how I act around him so I’m not going to stop” I say as I look at Celestia and she looks shocked. “What’s wrong” I ask looking up at her.

“You said Titan” She asks

“Yes why” I say confused

“Why didn't you call him King Titan” She asks

“One he said I didn't have to, he also doesn't care if I do or not and before you ask I’m not the prince. He probably
would laugh at me if I told him what happen to me so far” I say straightening out my wings.

“So you’re saying that you know the prince and the king of the griffins” She says raising an eyebrow.

I look at her “Yes” I grin

“How do you know them” She asks

“Well that’s a long story” I turn to look outside “For another day” I say yawning.

Celestia looks outside then back at me noticing that I’m yawning and trying not to fall over. “What” She pouts “That’s not fare” She glares at me “Fine go to sleep then” She says as she walks away and I’m pushed out of the room by yellow magic.

I walk back to the cell, on the way back I look at all the paintings on the wall and notice that the pictures are so old that they are of the griffins and ponies at war, I look over at another one and see ponies and diamond dogs are fighting, I look close and notice that there is a pony that has black tentacles coming out of its back some of them are spearing ponies and D-Dogs alike. I walk away from the pictures and notice something sticking out of the wall behind some tapestry. I walk over to it and move it out of the way, turns out it was just the crest of the Eclipse Guards.

I look around and put the cloth back where it goes, I hear a sound and turn around to see nothing. I continue to the dungeon and see a night guard standing in front of the door.

“Halt, Who goes there” The night guard says lowering his spear

“Just me” I say looking around the hallway

“What do you want” The Guard asks

“Can I go through the door” I ask looking around

“Yes go on through, Prisoner” The guard says

I walk down the cells looking around, there is only one other room that looks like it has something in it. The door has blood stains on it and I can hear some shuffling hooves behind the door and I keep on walking to my cell, there is a guard there and I nod to him and he opens the door. I walk in and notice Chrysalis is asleep; I grin and walk over to her.

I turn and get my pillow from my bed and see an empty spot on her side so I go and lay down by her, It’s not that I like her like that, I like her like a friend and I don’t know what happens if she doesn't feed on love and I don’t think that anypony else will be nice to her, I end up falling asleep.

I wake up to see the angry face of Chrysalis.

“What are you doing” She asks

I rub my eyes and look over at her “I was sleeping”.

“Yes, In MY BED” She says glaring at me motioning to her bed.

“And you looked lonely and I didn't know what would happen if you didn't feed on love” I say looking at the ground.

Sigh “OK next time ask me, It will be fine for now without love to feed on, when I need some I will tell you” She says rolling her eyes

“So you saying that I can sleep here” I say looking at her

She looks away “Yes, you can”

“Thanks” I say as I lay my head back down.

“What are you doing” She asks

“Going back to sleep” I say shrugging my shoulders

“Ok” She said glaring at me a she lays back down.

In a cave across equestria Discord was sitting staring out at the sky.

"Well this is boring" Discord says to a pink cloud next to him. He gets up, walks over to a wall and punches it, the wall turns to pudding before his fist hit it, he looks down at his hand and back up to the sky. Discord snaps his fingers the pudding turns into bubbles and floats away. The clouds slowly start to turn gray as the ground is covered in darkness, rain pours out of the clouds as thunder rolls in from a far. Discord walks over to the edge of the overhang, looks down and notices a city off in the distance.

Discord walks back from the edge of the cliff. "Well let's show the world some chaos" He turns and starts to run to the edge of the cliff and jumps, Discord disappears into a cloud of cotton candy and out fly's a griffin with yellow eyes and bat wings.

"This is going to be fun" as he smirks and fly's off towards the city.

Chaos is back in the world! (This will be rewritten but the things in it won't change much)

I woke up in one of the trees that were in the garden. Looking around the see if anypony is there and pop my neck, I hear a gasp and I look around to see how made the sound and i notice that there is a alicorn standing there glaring at me.

I blink and ask the alicorn "What" I say ask I rub the sleep out of my eyes.

"..."The alicorn is just staring at me with its mouth open and its head to the side.

"..." I stare back at it and notice that its dawn outside. I put my talons behind my head as I lay back down on the branch.

"What are you doing up there" said the alicorn.

"Well, I was...Sleeping" I say blinking and looking around.

"Why are you in a tree" The alicorn asks.

"Well that's because your earth pony guard's can't get up here" I say patting the tree with a smug grin.

"As thou can see I'm not an earth pony" It says as it looks at its wings.

"Nope, No earth pony here only an alicorn" It said looking at me.

“I can see that” I say looking at its wings and horn.

“So do I have to come up there and get you out of that tree” It says spreading its wings out “Or will you come down here yourself”

I look around and say “How about I stay up here in this tree and you go away”

“So then what you saying is that I have to come up there and get you” It asks

“Yes” I say crossing my arms

“Ok then” It said as it fly’s up into the air, then bursts into a cloud of smoke.

“What” I state as it reforms next to me.

“This may hurt just a tad” It said as it gets closer to me

“What” I say as I feel a sharp pain in my neck as I start to pass out, the last this I see is the ground wanting to get to know my face better as I lose concusses.

I look around and see a light, I look over and see a sign that says “DON’T MOVE”. I look back and forth, being the smart guy that I am I move then I start to fall and fall. One of my friends once said that falling and hitting the ground didn’t hurt and when I see them next I’m going to punch them in the face.

“Were …cough… am I at” I say rubbing my temples

“I’m going to make you wish you never found this place” A demented voice says.

“There’s only one place were that voice could come from” As my eye go wide with remembrance of the voice.

“NO, It can be that voice” I say with sheer terror

“Yes, I’m baaack run for your life” It said as I push myself up off the ground and start to run away from the voice as I turn to dodge a bolt of magic.

“Leave me alone” I say as I dodge another bolt.

“NEVER” The voice say as it hits me in the side with a bolt of magic

“Aaahhh” I yell as the bolt singes my fur and burn my ribs, I hold my side trying to run with three legs as my lungs are filled with the smell of blood and burned fur. I feel a hoof on my shoulder and look to see the face of a unicorn but its missing one of its eyes in its place is stone with runes on it, it starts to glow and so does my side. I collapse on the ground in agony I start to yell and plead to the unicorn to stop but I just gives me the most creepiest grin I have ever saw.

He gets close to my face “As I said before I will never leave on till you are dead” It says as it grabs a hold of my throat with magic he grins at me as I start to rise off the ground, I start to gasp for breath.

He looks at me and starts to laugh at my pain “Would you like to know what happens next” He asks me as I start to lose sight and my lungs feel like there on fire.

“YOU DIE” He yells as he slams me in to the ground over and over again, and then proceeds to rip out my throat.

As I lay on the ground panicking slowly drowning on my own blood- Did I ever tell you that drowning is painful and scary well drowning on your own blood that is where your throats was at sucks. I there die. Yelling and gasping for breath is a weird way to wake up but if that happens then the pain from my ribs stopped it.

“W...What happened” I choke out

“…..I….he…..up” I hear a voice say

“What’s going on here” I hear a voice say

I open my eyes to see two alicorns looking at me, one keeps on glaring at the other, the blue one flicks her mane and walks over and sits down, the white own that I can tell is Celestia looks at me with a grim look. I notice that the doctor walks in there holding a clipboard with magic they look at me and sigh.

“So you’re awake now” They ask walking over to me

“Yes” I choke out after that I start to chough in pain and look at my talon to see blood on it. I hold my talon towards to doctor.

They look at it “Yah, There’s a problem with your blood, Oh and if you’re wondering my name is Charm Star”

I look over at her confused and look at Celestia. “What’s going and can you heal me so I can get up and you explain to me what happened”

“Yes I can” Charm Star says as her horn start to glow and I feel this tingly feeling all over my body I look over and the blue alicron and picture and memories flash in my find.

“Aahh” I Yell as my head feels like it’s going to pop. Star stops and looks at me. “What are you doing keep going” I yell at her and she starts up again and the pain is unbearable. This goes on for five minutes before I tell here to stop and look around to room to see Celestia and Luna looking at me gasping.

“What” I look around for a minute before stopping at Luna “I remember who you are your Princess Luna”

“Yes I am” She says looking at me strangely

“I have one question what did you do to me” I says pointing to the spot on my neck

“I took a sample of your blood” She said “But don’t get mad at me It was her doing” She says as she points a hoof at Celestia I look at her with a look of disbelief.

“Yes I did that but that was to see what was wrong with you” She states

“What’s wrong with me (Not that I already know)”I ask looking curelessly at the princess’s and Doctor.

Charm Star statin’s her papers and looks at me “We believe that as I said your blood has problems with it, we found out how because we took samples of it.” After she says that a jump out of the bed and my wings are glowing and a gust of wind blows the clipboard out of Charm Stars hoofs.

“Hey, Cool it still works” I says with a smile on my face, my grim darkens to a scowl “You took a sample of my blood” I close my eyes as my wings stop glowing “Why did you do that if you asked me for a sample I would have gave you one but no you have to go and take it from me so now I will take something from you” I says menacingly and start to walk over to the doctor. Celestia and Luna start to charge up their horns preparing for the worst. I reach down and pick up the clipboard.

“This is now mine” I say grinning

“WHAT” They all say looking at me confused

“What” I says looking over my chart “Here catch” I says as I toss the clipboard back to Charm Star. “Oh and I want that back when you’re done with it” I says grinning.

“….OK...” Charm star says looking at me “So as I was saying you have Griffin blood in you”

I interrupt her” So I’m a griffin what’s the problem then”

She continues “You have Pegasus, Changeling and a small trace of Unicorn Blood in you” Celestia and Luna gasp and look at me.

“What” I say as I shrug my shoulders

“YOU’RE A CHANGELING” Luna says as her horn starts to glow with cosmic magic “I WILL WIPE YOU OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH FOR WHAT YOUR KIND DID TO MY SISTER”

I hold my ears “Why” I say as I’m lying on the floor because it feels like my ears went through a blender. “I didn’t do anything and I’m not a CHANGELING” I yell at the end and look over at Luna to see a stop moving.

“Stop this Luna you’re over reacting” Celestia says to Luna as she stops charging her magic and sits down.

“Thank you” I tell Celestia, Charm Star walks over to me and whispers in my ear “We need to talk about you blood later”

“Ok” I say as I walk out to the garden.

I look over and find a bench to sit on and a breeze flows by and the cool refreshing air that I breathe in is a lot better than the castle air. There are birds flying around and for once in my life I feel at peace, I sigh and look over and notice something amiss. I get up and start to look around for something that’s wrong.

I walk over to this hedge I saw and I peer around it. I see this pedestal it’s covered in moss and tree roots. It was in disperse I walk over to the pedestal and start to pick off the died roots and moss that on it when I’m done I take a step back to view my work.

“It looks better but something’s missing still” I say scratching my chin

“How about some Chaos” The voice next to me says, I look over and my face pails.

“Y…You’re” I stammer out

“Yes” The being says

“You’re DISCORD” I yell

"Precisely” Discord says with a sinister grin.
