Fluttershy and Discord walked down the trail, Fluttershy was humming, Discord groaned

"Do you HAVE to sing?"

Fluttershy giggled "I always sing when I'm in a good mood"

"Do you HAVE to be in a good mood?"

"Why wouldn't I be? By this time tomorrow, I'll be with all my friends again, oh I wonder what they're doing right now?"

"Probably having their magic DIGESTED," said Discord

"Their ALIVE Discord, I KNOW they are," said Fluttershy, frowning at his negativity

"You don't know ANYTHING Fluttershy"

Discord turned around

"And I can't wait to see the look on your face when you realize that the world isn't all Cupcakes and rainbows" he waved his hands around mockingly magical  "Because it ISNT, bad thing happen, and there's nothing you can do about it" he turned around and continued to walk forward.

Fluttershy stood stiffly for a second, then she caught up with him and said: "Hey, I know the world isn't all cupcakes and rainbows, but I would rather live my life thing that it mostly is instead, and if you don't mind me asking, why are you so-?"

"Shhh" Discord put a paw to her lips, Fluttershy did her best not to blush

"A Changeling?" she asked frightened

".....Maybe" Discord whispered, he walked carefully, Fluttershy then figured it out

"There is no changeling is there? You just said that I would stop talking"

"Maybe" whispered Discord, he continued to walk forward

"Sometimes I wonder if your really reformed"

Discord turned around and snapped "Of COURSE I AM, after all, Celestia sent you that letter all those years ago telling you that I DID fix that leak in the weather factory, didn't she?"

"No," said Fluttershy looking surprised

"Wait, you didn't know?"

Fluttershy shook her head

Discord facepalmed himself rather hard

"Well, NOW YOU DO," he said irritated, they continued to walk forward when Fluttershy suddenly said

"You did remember to pack food right? "

"No, I was too distracted," he said

"I can get us food, " she said running ahead

Discord laughed "Please, how could YOU get-"

Fluttershy was handed two baskets of berries and fruits from a pack of birds

"Thank you," she said smiling, she looked at discord and placed a basket next to him

"Dinners ready," she said

Discord groaned, how DOES she do that?

Fluttershy and Discord were in their sleeping bags, by a fire, Discord was already on his side,

Fluttershy sighed, she took out a picture frame of all her friends,

"So special" she whispered

"Goodnight Pinkie, Goodnight Spike, Goodnight Fluffy clouds, Goodnight Rarity, Goodnight Sassyfrass, Goodnight D.J, Goodnight Radiant, Goodnight Blueblood," she said quietly

"And goodnight Fluttershy!" Snapped Discord

Fluttershy put the picture away and looked up, there were so many stars in the sky

"Stars shining bright above you,...." she sang softly

"SERIOUSLY? MORE singing?" he asked incredulously

"Yes, Sing helps me relax," said Fluttershy

"WELL COULD YOU STOP, I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT" he said, he turned on his side

"Even if it IS the most beautiful sound I ever heard" he muttered

"What?" asked Fluttershy

"I THOUGHT I SAID BE QUIET" he shouted, he then closed his eyes, Fluttershy then laid on her back and did the same.

They walked towards the tunnels, but unfortunately, there were more than twenty of them.

"So one of these tunnels will lead us to the old village?" asked Fluttershy

"Yes", but-" Discord was interrupted, a letter hit him in the head, Fluttershy opened it

"Dear Fluttershy and Discord,

It's the ponies from the bunker,

We sent this to tell you good

luck on your journey, also, we

have just been told that Flurry

hearts, the princess of the

crystal empire has just turned

eighteen, can you believe it?But

We've been told that the crystal

empire is under extra protection

since there has been a changeling

that would visit every week.

Anyways, we hope you survive

this journey, and make it home

"Well,....anyways, which one is the right one?" she asked, stuffing the letter in her backpack

"I dont know,...." said Discord

"CHOOSE A HOLE WISELY, FOR ONE WILL LEAD TO THE CHANGELING HIVE, AND THE OTHERS, TO CERTAIN DEATH" said a mighty voice, the last word echoed

"WHO SAID THAT?" asked Discord

"IT WAS-" a pegasus poked her head from behind a cloud

"Me, hey guys, um I just wanted to warn you that one of these tunnels lead to the old village, and the others lead to certain death" she made the last word echo, they then noticed that she had a light yellow mane, a light gray coat, a pair of socks on her hooves a bubble cutie mark, and light yellow eyes that were crossed.

"Could you tell us which one?" asked Fluttershy politely

"You bet," said the mare

"Great," said Fluttershy, when Discord pulled her back

"No, thank you, but were good," he said

"Discord," said Fluttershy with a nervous laugh

"She's trying to help us" she whispered

"I don't like the looks of her," he said glaring at her

"I mean WHO wears socks with no shoes?

the pegasus smiled at them and waved

"She seems to know what she's doing," said Fluttershy assuringly

Discord sighed "Okay Fine," he said, he then faced the mare

"Which way do we go?" he asked

"First, you have to give me a high one, then I'll tell you"

"WHAT?" asked Discord

"I'll do it," said Fluttershy

"I know you'll do it," said the mare "But will he?"

the mare walked up to Discord

"Okay Mr.Down-in-the-dumps, put 'er there"

"Nope," said Discord folding his arms "I don't do high ones"

"Slap it, boss"

"Not gonna happen"

"Already on the top floor"

"NOPE"

"A little slappy, make mommy happy?"

"That's weird"

"Aw come on, JUST ONE LITTLE HIGH FIVE"

"Oh no thanks I'm good"

"Look, just do this-" the mare slapped her hoof against her own "But with your HAND"

"Thank for that demonstration, it really cleared up exactly what I will NOT BE DOING," Discord said stubbornly

"Discord, It's just a high one, we need to know the way!" said Fluttershy

Discord looked at the mare for a second, then groaned

"One high one and you'll tell us where to go RIGHT?"

"So easy," said the mare

"OKAY FINE" he was about to touch her hoof when she moved it

"Too Slow," she said

"TOO, SLOW?" asked Discord in disbelief

Fluttershy and the mare burst into laughter, however, Fluttershy stopped When Discord glared at her

"Okay, okay, Now I'm thinking we hug," said the mare holding out her hooves

Discord picked up a stick and tore it into two daggers, a dangerous glare on his face, the mare's smile quickly faded, she then began to run, Discord chased her

"THAT'S RIGHT YOU BETTER RUN MARE!!!"

"Wait!!!" said Fluttershy running after them, while Discord chased the pegasus into a tunnel, Discord ranted about how he was going to pound her until suddenly the mare had a smile on her face and said "Ta-Da, we're here" the mare took the daggers from Discord hands and tossed the aside

"You guys are really fun, good luck," she said walking towards the hole

"Unless....YOU DIE" the last word echoed before the mare left.
