Appleloosa is a small village located in a desert part of Equestria, with the classic aspect of the distant west, a town founded by terrestrial ponies in the middle of a desert. Appleloosa was set on a meadow where apple trees can grow because of the fertile soil. The economy of the town is sustained by the passage of the railway of Equestria, but mainly, by the sale of products derived from the apples.

Currently, the famous apple orchard belongs to the Apple family, the current manager of the fields is Apple Cider.

A earth pony born and resident of Appleoosa, with light brown fur, with blond mane, and green eyes. Her cutie mark is a glass of cider with a juicy apple on the side.

He is responsible for harvesting apples from the village, but his specialty is to create delicious apple cider, not as delicious as sweet apple acres, but it is almost just as good. The cider is very fond of buffalo, but they like their feet the most, is Apple Fritter.

A land pony, her mane is green and has light red bows on her bangs. Her Cutie Mark are 3 apple fritters, she helps the ponies with the sale of cakes for the buffalo.

The products would not be possible without the help of all the ponies that harvest apples, the best in that is, Brushel.

He is a large and strong male earth pony, light orange fur with a green mane with light green lines with green eyes and wearing a cowboy hat. His cutie mark is a wooden basket full of apples.

Yes. Life in Appleloosa is very relaxing, especially for a certain pony, Braeburn. A earth pony born and resident of Appleloosa, he is also Applejack's cousin. He is a very lively and excited pony, he is also somewhat distracted with some things, but especially he is very peaceful, he does not like violence very much.

Braeburn was in the apple fields, collecting fruits next to Brushel.

"Are you excited Braeburn?" asked Brushel.

"What are you talking about?" replied Braeburn confused.

"Soon will be the harvest season, and we will have a lot of work" Brushel said.

"Yes, we have a lot of work this year" said Braeburn, gathering the apple baskets.

"Luckily it will not be just the two of us, several ponies will help us too" said Brushel, raising the baskets to a cart.

"That's a great relief, let's go home, Mom and Dad are waiting for us" Braeburn said, pulling the basket

"I know, brother, we'll be there in time for dinner" Brushel said, making his own grimace.

As night fell Brushel and Braeburn returned to their parents' house.

"How was the harvest?" asked  Apple Cider.

"Good" Braeburn said.

"I collected more apples than Braeburn" Brushel said, with a little smug in his voice.

"That's my son!" Cider said. "You should be more like your older brother Braeburn" he said.

"Sure, Dad" said Braeburn, wearily.

"Well, go clean, your mother is making the dinner" Cider said.

“Yes, Dad” said Braeburn and Brushel.

Later, Apple Fritter prepared a delicious vegetable salad for his family.

"I have to tell you something very important" Fritter said.

"What is it dear?" Cider asked.

"They sent me a letter from ponyville, it's from smith's granddaughter" Fritter said.

"And what does he say?" Cider asked.

"She says he needs help on sweet Apple acres, her crops were too much and they need extra help”

Fritter said.

"Then one of us should go and help them" Cider said.

"But who will?" Fritter asked.

"I'll go, they need someone strong like me" Brushel said, smiling.

"I'm sorry son, but you will not go" Cider said.

"What?! But Dad, I'm the one" said Brushel.

"Forget it, I need you here" said Cider.

"Then who will? Mom? "Brushel asked confused.

"No, Braeburn" said Cider.

"Braeburn?" Brushel asked confused.

"Does it bother you?" Braeburn snarked.

"Of course not. Just surprised me” said Brushel with a little disappointment In his voice.

"It's settled then, tomorrow you're going to help your cousins with the crops, understood Braeburn?" Cider asked.

"Of course dad, nothing would make me happier than helping my cousins" Braeburn said.

Once the dinner was over, he followed the dessert. Family favorite, apple pie.

"This cake is delicious!" Bruchel said, devouring his dessert.

"Yes, you did good this time, Mom" said Braeburn, savoring his cake.

"Thanks, but it's not that bad" Apple Fritter said.

"Well, finish your food and get some rest, tomorrow will be a great day" said Cider

Once dinner was over, everyone went to their beds to rest.

In Braeburn's room, the young stallion prepared everything to travel to ponyville.

"I have not visited the family in a while" Braeburn said. "The last time I was in Ponyville was for the Apple reunion, and now, I think about it, I can’t visit the place" he said.

Suddenly a bird came in through the window.

"Hello my dear pet, Sky" said Braeburn.

Sky is a bald eagle of the desert mascot of Braeburn. He is very faithful and loyal.

"What do you say friend? Do you want to accompany me to ponyville?" asked the stallion.

The bird fluttered its wings, as a sign of affirmation.

"I'll take that as a yes" Braeburn said cheerfully.

Once the night came, the young stallion finished packing his things and went to sleep; with the thrill of

seeing his family.

Braeburn stood before a large forest. He did not know why he was in the woods, but he knew he was not at home. In the desert there are no forests like that. Everything was very dark, the whole forest was so dark; then he decided to walk through the forest, but it seemed that it would never end.

"This is huge!" Braeburn complained.

Somehow, without him noticing, he was at the end of the road. It didn’t make sense, but he knew he had to get to the other end of the forest. But what he saw, he didn’t expect.

"But what is it?" said Braeburn.

On a small hill, there was a strange figure, it looked like a pony, but the sunlight did not let it see clearly, until a very dark cloud covered the sun, now it was more difficult to see. But he managed to distinguish something, a long mane, soft as silk, surely it was a mare, he also managed to see a little of the color, it was a very beautiful rose.

Braeburn took off his hat, and combed his hair a little. "E-Excuse me, miss?" he said, as he approached.

But out of nowhere, a gust of wind begane to blow in his direction, the beautiful mare rose from where she was sitting, and began to move away.

"Wait! Please!" yelled Braeburn, fighting the wind.

But it was too late, the mare disappeared, the strangest thing was that it disappeared in a peculiar way. A lot of pink butterflies came out of the trees, and they began to completely surround the mysterious mare to the point where she disappeared with the butterflies, it seemed that it had become the butterflies.

Braeburn tried to reach it, but the wind became stronger, as if it had supernatural powers. It throw him back, disappearing into the dark forest.

"NOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!"

Braeburn felt a strange pressure on him; It was his pet, who tried to wake him, flapping his wings.

"Sky! What are you doing in my bed? "Braeburn asked, sleepy.

But he discovered that he was on the floor, realized that everything was a dream, and had fallen from the bed, and his pet was trying to wake him.

"Thank you my friend, I'm fine" Braeburn said as he stood up. "Go back to your cage" he said, thrusting his eagle into its cage.

Once his pet went back to sleep, he tried to do the same, trying to forget that strange dream.
