The Guardian Lycan

“So lemme get this straight, Equestria is ruled by two Princesses who are sisters and one controls the sun and one controls the moon?”

“Yep…the two have lived for over a thousand years and still look young.”

“Wow…I wonder if I’ll meet them.”

“I think you will.”

Fluttershy and Alex reach a small cottage that had some animals moving around, “Here we are, this is my home. Fluttershy says.

“Wow…it looks so peaceful and small,” Alex says.

“Which is exactly why I like it,” Fluttershy says as she smiles, Fluttershy reaches for the door and opens it, the two enter the cottage and still talk about the Land of Equestria.

“So your friend Twilight Sparkle is one of the four Alicorns and is a Princess?” Alex asks.

“Well, yes…you can ask her yourself…wait what?!”

Fluttershy exclaims and looks in front of her.

“What do you mean herself--oh?”

The two look in front of them to see five mares standing there with surprised expressions.

One had Purple fur with a Horn and Wings, another had white fur with a stylish hair and horn, another had blue skin with wings and multi-color rainbow hair, the fourth one was Pink and had poofy like hair, and the last one had Orange fur with a blonde ponytail.

“Oh…um hello girls…what brings you here?” Fluttershy says.

Fluttershy is answered with The Blue Pegasus tackling Alex.

“Fluttershy! Are you alright? Are you hurt? Did this guy do anything to you? Oh so help me, Celestia, if you hurt her…” She says with anger as she brought a fist in front of Alex’s face.

“Dash, stop! Get off of him!” Fluttershy says.

“Why? So he can attack us and hurt you again?” Dash says.

“No! He saved my life!” Fluttershy says.

“Saved your life? After Angel Bunny came to us and warned us you were in danger we rushed straight over here but didn’t find you…did this guy kidnap you?” Dash says.

“Rainbow Dash!” Fluttershy says with assertiveness.

Dash looks up at Fluttershy to see an angered and disappointed face.

“Alex here saved my life from four Timberwolves and he even comforted me in my time of fear…we learned so much from each other and he is my friend and he has never harmed me! So I'm asking you to get off my friend.”

Fluttershy says this with an angered stare in her eyes and her hands balled up in fists.

“Damn,” Alex says under his breath.

Dash looks down with her ears dropping as well as she gets off of Alex.

“Thank you…Alex are you alright?” Fluttershy asks as she offers a hand to him.

Alex grabs her hand and he is pulled up, “Yeah…but damn that was some tackle…did you play sports or something?”

“No, Dashie here is one of the fastest fliers in Equestria,” Fluttershy says with a smile.

“Oh, yeah…you told me that.” Alex says with a chuckle.

“Alright now that the drama is over…who are you?” The Purple Pony asks.

“Oh yes…how rude of me…My name is Alexander Meloni…I am a Human slash Lycan, and I am a Guardian of Gateway, and I assume you are Princess Twilight Sparkle yes? It is an honor, your highness.” Alex says as he crouches down and bows.

“Oh, no need for that, please…I don’t really like it when ponies do that…Or…In your case…human.” Twilight says.

“Well, you all should introduce yourselves,” Fluttershy says.

The White Unicorn steps forward, she had a white button-up shirt with a black skirt, she also wore a diamond-type bracelet and a red jewel necklace, “I’m Rarity, the fashion designer of Ponyville and might I say, I like those bracelets and rings you have on.”

“Oh, thank you, they're apart of my style,” Alex says as he raises them up, adjusting them.

The Blue Pegasus that tackled Alex earlier steps forward, “Name’s Rainbow Dash and…sorry for jumping to conclusions.” She says as she scratches her head and smiles awkwardly.

“It’s alright…you got a strong tackle though…you’d make a good Guardian.”

Then the Pink Pony steps forward, “Hi! I’m Pinkie Pie, and sorry but I gotta run, bye!” The Pink Pony then sprints out of the cottage.

“Knowing Pinkie, she might be planning a party for you,” Fluttershy says. Alex looks at her and chuckles.

Finally, the Orange Pony steps forward.

“Ah’m Applejack, pleased to meet ‘cha, Alex.”

“Thanks, I like your hat,” Alex says with a smile.

“Why thank you.”

Then Twilight steps forward, “I’m Twilight Sparkle…I want to formally introduce myself this time…so quick question…you said, Lycan?”

Alex chuckles and straightens his tie, “Why yes I did…I am also a human which is what I am right now.”

“I’ve read about humans as well as Lycans…but you don’t look like one."

“Well…since it’s daytime…I can’t really show you right now.”

"So you can only turn on a full moon?" Twilight asks as she takes out a notepad.

"We can transform anytime we want if it's either nighttime or in a dark area...Full Moons are forced transformations."

"Fascinating, but do you...become feral?" Twilight asks with slight fear.

"Oh heavens no, otherwise I wouldn't be a 'Guardian' Lycan," Alex says as he laughs.

Just then, pounds were heard at the door.

“Who is it?” Fluttershy asks

"This is the Royal Guard, we received a report about a creature!"

The group looks down in unison except for Fluttershy and Alex, "I take it you called them?"

"Y-yes...I did...I-I'm sorry...we were all just scared for Fluttershy--"

"Twilight," Alex says her name and she looks at him, "I am not mad at you or any of your friends, you have a right to be afraid and you have a right to send help...I would've done the exact same thing."

"Oh...okay..."

Alex then approaches the door, "I take it you received a report about me?"

"Who is this? Let us in now!" The Guard says.

"You plan to take me forcefully or nicely?" Alex asks.

"We received reports that one of the elements are missing and that an unknown creature is involved." The Guard says.

"Well...I am the unknown creature...however, I did not kidnap or hurt Fluttershy...I saved her from Timberwolves," Alex explains, "Okay, I'm going to open the door...do me a favor, If you have weapons...don't point them at me...I have not done anything wrong so threatening me isn't really a nice choice." Alex says.

Alex opens the door and two Guards walk in with their spears at their side, they look at Alex with small surprise but they have watchful-types of eyes.

"Great, now that our situation is settled, name's Alex...so...what happens now?"

The Guards look at him in surprise again as he was polite and showed no hostility.

"The Princesses would like to meet you personally." One of the Guards said.

"Then lead the way," Alex then turns around, "You girls coming?"

The Mane Six all walk behind Alex and step outside, they are greeted with a Large Carriage.

"Oh...nice, haven't seen something like this before," Alex says.

The Group climbs onboard the Carriage and the two Guard hook themselves up to it, they then spread their wings and they all are lifted off the ground.

"I haven't seen Celestia in a while, after the whole Tirek incident...It'd be good to see her." Twilight says.

"I got nothing better to do anyway," Rainbow says.

Alex smiles and looks at the view from above the clouds.

After a while group arrives at a city that seemed to hang on the side of a mountain, which seemed to also hold a large castle.

“Whoa…that’s pretty cool…how does a city and castle hang onto a Mountain like that?” Alex asks.

No one answers as they actually never thought about that, Alex looks at the town below and the large Castle ahead, the Carriage then lands in a grass field in the Castle Grounds.

“All of you, Princess Celestia requests your presence.” A Guard says to the crew.

“Thank you,” Twilight says.

The Six walk into a corridor which led up to some large doors.

“This place is huge,” Alex says.

“No kidding,” Dash says.

They walk through the large doors to see another large hallway, and at the end were two seats, one light and one dark, the six walk to the seats and stop.

“Please wait here.” The Guard says.

He walks away to go to a door that was on the left side of the seats.

“So…um…I’m not in trouble am I?” Alex says jokingly.

“No, Celestia and Luna are never cruel or anything like that, but when there is someone or something they have never seen…they would like to know who or what it is.” Twilight says.

“Fair enough...to be honest, My people and the Guardians would do the same...we protect one another."

Right after that sentence, two large beings walk out of the doors.

They were both females from the looks of it, One had white skin with a symphonic-like rainbow hair that flowed endlessly, the other was slightly less tall than the white pony, she had dark blue skin with Flowing Hair that had shined a starry night sky with stars. One had the marks of the sun and the other had the moon.

“Princess Celestia, Princess Luna,” Twilight says.

“Hello Twilight, how is your day so far?” Celestia asks.

“It’s been interesting,” Twilight says with a giggle.

“Also…where is Pinkie Pie?” Celestia asks.

“Planning a party for our new friend probably.” Twilight says.

“So do you have the human with you all?” Celestia asks.

“Oh yes! I will let himself do the introductions.” Twilight says.

Alex walks out from behind the mares and looks at the two princesses.

“Your Majesties…it is nice to meet the two rulers of Equestria,” Alex says this as he kneels.

“Oh, this one has manners as well…rise,” Celestia says.

Alex rises back up and straightens his tie.

“What is your name?” Luna asks.

Alex smiles and bows real quick, “My name is Alexander Meloni…but usually everyone calls me Alex.”

“I see…and I hear you saved dear Fluttershy from Timberwolves, is this true?” Celestia asks.

“How do you know that--never mind, I guess Twilight sent a letter," Twilight giggles then nods, "Yes I did.” Alex answers.

“How does one take on four Timberwolves by themselves?” Luna asks.

“Well…I’m not just a Human…I am also known as a Lycan…or a Guardian Lycan…My kind protects a land called Gateway, we protect the innocents and keep our world hidden in secret.” Alex says.

“Lycan? I heard about them…they’re dangerous creatures.” Luna says.

“Well, Guardian Lycans are friendly, we keep our instincts in control and we are peaceful until we must resort to violence,” Alex says.

“I see…may we all take witness to your Lycan form?” Celestia asks.

“I’m afraid, I cannot change until Night falls or if we are in a Dark place,” Alex says.

“I could help with that,” Luna says, her horn then glows and the room darkens as the windows are covered and no sunlight is to be found…it was dark enough for everyone to still see, the torches around the hallway then light up as well.

“Is that dark enough, dear Alex?” Luna asks as she smiles.

“Yes, it is…thank you,” Alex says, "Okay...I need to undress because I do not want to ruin my only Vest and Shirt." Alex then takes off his tie.

“Would someone mind holding my shirt and such?” Alex asks.

Rarity comes closer and holds the tie.

“One sec, I’m not done,” Alex says, he unbuttons his shirt and vest, taking them both off and revealing his bare chest.

“Whoa…” Rarity says as she was still standing close to him.

He was pretty muscular but slim, there was a six pack but not a big six pack.

“Thank you for the mental comment,” Alex says with a laugh.

“Comment? What comment?” Rarity says quickly.

Alex then takes off his shoes and socks.

“I know what you’re probably thinking since you said ‘whoa’,” Alex says as he takes off his pants.

He was right, Rarity was just staring at his bare, slim, and muscular chest and she was happy that she was standing next to him to see it even better.

“Alright…stand back everybody,” Alex says.

“Everybody?” Dash asks.

“What, do you say it differently here?” Alex asks.

“Yeah, we say everypony.” Dash says.

“Oh…then stand back everypony.” Alex says.

The six stepped away from Alex slowly.

“Okay…here we go...if you are frightened by pain or cracking and stuff like that, please look away or cover your ears...and not for the faint of heart." Alex’s breath becomes rapid as he starts shaking, he kept himself calm for what was about to happen...hopefully his audience was too.

He looks down to look at his hands, his nails started to crack and bleed slowly, he felt the bones in his fingers shift and break, nails started to shatter and grey fur started to sprout from his hands. Black Claws started to grow where the nails once were, he feels his hands start to swell and grow overall with some small muscle, he then feels dead leather-like black pads sprout from his fingerprints and palm.

"Tia...look at his hands." Luna whispers to her sister.

Alex then sees the fur spread onto his arms as well as sprout from his chest, he then sees his chest and arms gain some muscle...his body then starts to swell with strength but slowly, more snaps and cracks were heard from his back as his spine started to rearrange and extend.

"Look at him...he's gaining muscle." Rarity says.

Alex chuckles as more snaps were heard, "Sorry if this isn't a good sight, but It doesn't hurt...a lot." Alex then grunts as another snap was heard.

He then looks at his legs to see them gain muscle and swell, along with sprouting fur, he feels his boxers starting to be tested to their limits as his thighs swelled with muscle, a bulge then shows from the back of his boxers and it seems to be getting bigger.

More fur was sprouting all over him, his arm was fully covered, his body was nearly covered, his legs were halfway through. Alex looked at himself to see the grey fur spread even more...he then looks behind him. His feet started to crack bones, Alex groans and gets down on his knees. The toes started to sprout claws just like his hands, they then start to swell and sprout with fur. His feet start to extend and grow until they were almost as big as the lower part of his arm, pads started to sprout on the toes and prints, his balance then changes to the balls of his feet, bending the feet permanently as they became Digi-Grade.

A Tail then sprouts from his boxers, shredding them completely in the process as well, he then bend forward as his body swells and then starts to gain new height, he feels his body become more extend along with muscles, he feels his arms and legs extend longer, as well as his tail.

"I-Is...it me...or is he...growing?" Rainbow says as he watches the growing wolf.

"He's growin' alright." Applejack answers.

Alex's entire body was a Lycan...the only thing left was his head, "Last part." His hair starts to extend down to his lower body and it turns from Black to Snow-white, his teeth start to bleed as they begin to grow and sharpen, he bites to get rid of some pain in them, he then feels his ears grow and reposition to the top of his head, they then sprout fur. Finally, his face starts to grow and extend into a muzzle, sprouting more razor-sharp teeth, his nose darkens into what of a wolf's nose and grows with the muzzle...Alex's grunts became growls and his voice deepens and darkens.

His eyes finally turn from Aqua Blue to Blood Red.

Alex growls and breathes deeply, he then stands up straight...he was over Eleven feet tall.

“Oh, my sweet Faust.” Luna says.

Alex was now even taller than he was now…the fur covered his whole body and his hair shined snow-white.

“Ta-da.” Alex says, now in a deep growling voice, but could still hear that cheerful tone.

“Wow…I must say Alex…you are fearful…but amazing.” Celestia says.

“Oh look how muscular and handsome he is now! Not that you weren’t before.” Rarity says.

“You saying I’m not handsome as a normal being?”

“Oh no! Not at all--“

Alex then playfully whimpers like a large dog and he lays down like a sad pet.

“Aww…”

Fluttershy, Twilight, & Applejack all say this at the same time, Celestia & Luna giggle as they silently 'Aw'd' as well.

“I’ll cheer you up, Alex.” Fluttershy says this as he walks over to him and pets his head.

Alex deeply chuckles, “Thank you Fluttershy.” Alex says.

“I see that you even have fun in this form as well.” Luna says.

“Am I not allowed to joke around?”

“Oh no, I didn’t say that…it’s just amazing how you can get a laugh out of almost anything.” Luna says.

Alex then looks down.

“It’s so I can hide the truth about myself.” Alex says.

“What truth?” Luna asks.

“That, I’m a monster…and I don’t deserve to have happiness and friends.” Alex says.

“Why would you think about something like that?” Rarity asks.

“It’s true…that’s why…almost anytime I reveal myself…my monster self…they run off or shun me because they think I’m going to hurt them…even though they aren’t human as well…they think just because I’m a Lycan…I hurt anyone I come across.” Alex says.

“Now Alex!” Twilight says.

Alex then turns his head to Twilight.

“If that nonsense were true, would you even be a guardian, would you even be here with us, as soon as you met us…you didn’t even lay a hoof on us.” Twilight says.

“You are our friend…and nothing will ever change that.” Fluttershy says as she continues to pet him.

“That’s right and if anypony thinks otherwise, they don’t deserve to be your friend…and they’ll hear it from us.” Rarity says.

“We’re all here for ya, partner.” Applejack says.

“And we will never turn our backs on you.” Dash says.

“I…thank you…all of us…it’s surprising you all are quick to trust me and not pose me as a threat.” Alex says.

“You show no threat to us Alex…we welcome you to Equestria.” Celestia says.

“You may stay as long as you like.” Luna says.

Alex smiles at that statement, he then stands up, "Can I turn back now?"

Luna’s horn then glows and the sunlight shows up, Alex then widens his eyes at the light, he closes his eyes as he feels himself reverting back. Everyone watches as Alex reverts back to his original self, Rarity then quickly hands him his clothes.

“Thank you all…” Alex says as he quickly puts his clothes back on.

“Hey Alex, is this yours?” Dash asks as she holds up a case.

Alex turns back as he puts the vest and tie back on.

“Oh yes, it’s my Guitar.” Alex says as he takes the case.

“You can play music?” Luna asks.

“And sing.” Alex says.

Alex then opens the case to reveal his Guitar.

“I’ll play you all a tune.”

“We would love to hear it.” Fluttershy says.

Alex then puts his fingers to the strings and starts to strum a beautiful lullaby-like tune.
