Chapters The classes at Canterlot High were very boring. Luckily, it was the last class for the Rainbooms. But it was math, the least favorite for all except Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle.
"At last! The day is over" said Rainbow Dash.
"I don't understand why you complain so much Dash" said Applejack.
"Are you kidding? At long last, the holidays are here!" said Rainbow excitedly.
"We know, you said that last vacation" Rarity said, closing her locker.
As they talked about their plans, Sunset checked her cell phone, reading the text messages sent by Adagio:
-Where are you? :/
Before she knew it, they were at the entrance to school.
"What about you Sunset?" Twilight asked.
"Hmm? What's up?" Sunset replied, confused.
"What are you doing over vacation" Rainbow said. "Will you come with any of us?"
"Oh, no. I'm sorry, I already had plans" Sunset said.
"With who?" Asked Applejack.
"I'm going on a trip to the forest with some friends" Sunset said.
"How fun the forest!" said Pinkie excitedly. "I will spend the vacations with my new cousin!" she said hugging Applejack.
"Yep, our families will meet for the first time" said Applejack smiling.
"That sounds great" Sunset said, smiling.
"Yeah" Rainbow said. "I would invite you Sunset, but Fluttershy and me only have two plane tickets to Cloudsdale" she said, pointing to Fluttershy.
"It will be very nice to return to our hometown" Fluttershy said timidly.
"Sounds nice" Sunset said. "And you two?" she asked, looking at Twilight and Rarity.
"I'm going visit the beautiful city of Manhattan with my family and Twilight will be joining us" Rarity said.
"I heard they have the most extensive library of all" said Twilight, adjusting her glasses.
"I'm happy for you" said Sunset.
"Looks like we all have plans. Shall we have one last get-together?" said Rarity.
"Yes! SLUMBER PARTY!" cried Pinkie excitedly.
"Where? At Pinkie's house as always?" asked Applejack.
"Nah! This time we're going to another house" Rainbow said.
"We have not been to Sunset's house in a long time" said Fluttershy.
"M-My house?" Sunset said nervously.
"Yes, slumber party at Sunset's house!" said Pinkie, hugging Sunset.
"It does not bother you, does it, dear?" Rarity asked.
"D-Doesn't bother me" said Sunset.
"Then why are you acting like this?" Applejack asked suspiciously.
"It's just... my house is very messy, I have not had time to clean it" said Sunset, as natural as
"So, we can't come to your house?" Twilight asked.
"No, it's not that, of course you can, no problem" said Sunset.
"Then it's decided! Party at Sunny's house!" said Pinkie excitedly.
The Rainbooms were talking about the great party they would have, but Sunset was not so excited by the idea. Now she had to think about what she would do with her other friends, the sirens.
"Well girls, we'll meet at my house tonight, see you!" Sunset said.
"What am I going to do? What do I do with the girls?" Sunset wondered. "I'll have to talk to them" she said, pressing on the accelerator.
It had been almost a year since Sunset and the Dazzlings got out alive from Mount Massive Asylum. Sunset gave the Dazzlings a second chance, the three sirens had reformed and now lead a better life.
Now they live with her at home, their relationship has improved dramatically.
Sunset had lost his job and spent her afternoons trying to find a new one. Although Waylon Park, her friend and former boss, deposited a huge sum of money to her bank account, she preferred to save that money for her university studies and for the Dazzlings.
Sonata got a job as a cook in a restaurant called Taco Mia.
Sunset did not want them to waste away at home, and convinced them to enroll in a school. As the Dazzlings did not want to have any relation with the Rainboooms, nor to return to Canterlot High, they enrolled in another school: Crystal Prep.

The Dazzlings left the room of their last class of the day and went to their lockers when they met with their friends.
"How did it go?" Sour Sweet asked.
"Horrible, math class is the worst" Aria Blaze said, opening her locker.
"For you, it's all the worst Blaze" said Indigo Zap.
"How about you, how did it go?" asked Adagio, putting away her books.
"Not as bad as yourselves, science is not a difficult subject" Sugarcoat said.
"Was it fun?" Sonata asked, closing her locker.
"The only fun was seeing the master make mistakes with the chemists" said Sunny Flare.
"Oh yeah! You should've seen it, it had pink hair! It looked like cotton candy" said Lemon Zest,
The eight girls walked down the school corridors, chatting about their vacation plans.
The old rivals of the friendship games, and former classmates of Twilight Sparkle.
Sour Sweet and Sunny Flare got along very well with Adagio Dazzle, they shared the same taste in design and in hobbies.
Indigo Zap and Sugarcoat shared personalities with Aria Blaze, practicing sports together.
Lemon Zest and Sonata Dusk became great friends as they both loved music and liked to do little pranks in class.
"So, you're going on a trip to the forest with a friend?" Sour asked.
"Yes, the four of us will spend all holiday in the forest" Adagio replied.
"The forest is not my favorite places. A lot of humidity, it ruins your hair" said Sunny, adjusting her hair.
"I've always been cautious darling, I'll take all my makeup and dryer" Adagio said.
"How would you use that if there is no electricity in the forest, genius?" asked Aria.
"With that much hair, it could be its own battery" Indigo said with a laugh.
"That would be illogical" Sugarcoat said, adjusting her glasses. "But I do not rule out that possibility" she said.
"Until the last fighting day, you never change" said Lemon, laughing.
"And what will you do on vacation Lemon?" asked Sonata.
"I'm going to a music festival, they say it will last the whole vacation. Indigo is coming too" said Lemon.
"Oh yeah, I heard they had a demonstration of motocross" Indigo said.
"That sounds great" Aria said, with a little jealousy. "And your plans Sugarcoat?" she ask.
"I will go with my family to visit India" she said in a proud manner.
"Well, Sour and me are going to the Manhattan fashion show" Sunny said.
"It seems we all have plans" Adagio said, smiling.
"Yes! Let's meet before we leave!" Said Lemon. "Let's go to my house and have a party!"
They all agreed and left the school, saying goodbye as they went their own way.
"Hi Sunset!" Sonata said, hug her.
"Hi Sonata. How did it go?" she ask.
"Boring, but good" said Aria.
"Well, I was a bit bored too, but we better go home" Sunset said.
Aria and Sonata got into the car's rear seats. Adagio walked over to Sunset and kissed her.
"Hard day?" Sunset ask.
"You have no idea" Adagio said, getting into the car.

The trip home was quiet. The four girls entered and relaxed. Onix was sleeping on the sofa, but he woke when he heard the door open. Seeing who it was, the little ferret happily jumped to see his mistress.
"Hey buddy, are you hungry?" said Sunset, stroking her pet.
"I'm hungry too!" said Sonata.
"What are we going to have for dinner?" asked Adagio.
"Tacos!" said Sonata.
"We ate tacos yesterday Sonata" said Sunset, "as Aria was doing all the chores around the house.
"Actually, how Aria was doing all the housework all week, she deserves to decide" she said.
"In that case, I want Chinese food" said Aria.
"I guess that's fine" Adagio said.
"As long as you order something vegetarian for me, it's okay" Sunset said, handing Onix to Sonata.
"Okay!" said Sonata happily.
"Well, the number is in the refrigerator. I'm taking a bath, figure out what you want by yourselves" Sunset said, climbing to the second floor.
"What are you going to want?" Aria asked, picking up the phone.
"First, I want to remove this uniform and go take a bath" said Adagio, walking towards the stairs.
"But Dagi, Sunset is in the upstairs bathroom" Sonata said.
"I know~" she said, smiling pervertedly, then went up to the second floor.
"Typical of Dazzle" Aria said, dialing the phone.
Sonata left Onix on the couch and approached her girlfriend.
"Ari, let's bath together" Sonata said.
"W-What? What the hell are you talking about? "Aria said, blushing.
"Please? I'll wash your back~" Sonata said, pulling her arm.
"Sonata, I'm on the phone, I can't-Ahh!"
Sonata pulled Aria to the bathroom on the lower floor while she laughed.

Later, the four girls were sitting in the dining room, enjoying their food. Even Onix ate with them.
"I have something to tell you something, I should have told you before" Sunset said.
"What is it?" said Aria.
"My friends want to have a slumber party at my house" Sunset said nervously.
"Don't worry honey, we have plans too" Adagio said.
"Really?" Sunset said in surprise.
"Lemon invited us to her house for our own slumber party" said Sonata excitedly.
"That's great, I'm glad that you get along with them" said Sunset.
"They're nice, no offense to your friends" Aria said.
"None taken. As soon as we finish dinner, I'll take you to Lemon's house, and tomorrow we can prepare everything to go on our trip" said Sunset.
"Will you come pick us up?" asked Sonata.
"I think it would be better for us to meet at the mall in the afternoon" Sunset said.
"Okay, we'll see you at that time tomorrow" Adagio said.
They continued with their dinner, satisfied to have everything organized for their trip to the forest.

My story is inspired by the famous survival game; The Forest
The Forest is a video game of the first-person survival horror genre developed by Endnight Games for Microsoft Windows. The Pre-Alpha version of the game has been available on Steam since May 30, 2014. The game is open world, where there are no missions and the only objective that the player has is to survive only from a plane crash on an island Full of native mutants.
To better understand, I recommend watching the game. (If they want to play it well, if not in a gameplay)

Sunset took the Dazzlings to the house of Lemon Zest. The four girls were happily talking about their vacation to the forest.
"The first thing we'll do tomorrow is buy tents, ones with roof covers to not get wet, and sleeping bags" Sunset said.
"We also need the first aid kit: cotton, gauze, medication, bandages, band-aids, essentials, etc" said Adagio, reading the list.
"Don't forget about the food! We'll need knives, forks, spoons, plastic cups, and a mini grill" Sonata said.
"Don't forget the basics Sonata, like the hammer for the stakes, wire tweezers, and a portable shower" said Aria.
"We'll take care of the rest tomorrow" Sunset said, stopping at Lemon's house.
"We're here!" Sonata said excitedly.
"Have fun, I'll see you at the mall in the afternoon" Sunset said.
"Goodbye Sunset!" said Sonata, getting out of the car.
"Bye" said Aria, following her girlfriend.
"Don't let them fight" said Sunset.
"Calm down, I won't" Adagio said. "I'll see you tomorrow" she said kissing her girlfriend, then left the car.
When Sunset left, the Dazzlings entered the house. Their friends were in the living room waiting for them.
"What took you so long?" Indigo asked, annoyed.
"Stop complaining, Zap, do not start with your moods" said Sour.
"Can we stop fighting and have fun?" Sunny said.
"She's right, let the party begin!" Lemon shouted excitedly.
Later, the Shadowbolts girls had fun at their party; despite their fights, their arguments, and differences, they had a good friendship.
Especially Sonata and Lemon. Both had much in common. They spent hours at Lemon's karaoke.
Also Aria's friendship with Indigo and Sugarcoat. They looked a lot like tastes and personalities. The three girls were absorbed in the Lemon's new video game for three players.
And as for Adagio, she had a very good relationship with Sour and Sunny. At the party, Sunny painted Adagio's nails, and Sour combed her hair.
"How do you have so much hair?" Sour asked.
"It's a gift, I guess" said Adagio, a little proud.
At that moment Adagio's phone rang.
"Give me the phone, please" said Adagio.
Sour Sweet handed her phone, and Adagio saw a message from her girlfriend, she could not help smiling in front of her friends.
"I know that smile" said Sunny, smiling. "You're seeing someone?" she asked.
"Actually yes, we've been dating for almost a year" Adagio said, pride in her voice.
"Who is he?" asked Sunny Flare.
"She" said Adagio.
"Oh, that's... new, you did not tell us before" Sunny said, surprised.
"I had my reasons. You don't have to like it, I just hope you respect it" said Adagio.
"Of course, Dazzle" Sour said. "Then, who is it? Do we know her?" she asked.
"You could say that" said Adagio.
"You have to tell us more about her" Sunny said.
"I will, though there is not much to tell" Adagio said, sending messages to her girlfriend.

Sunset's house was as noisy as Lemon's. Rainbow and Pinkie were playing Sunset's new video games, Rarity was painting Twilight's nails, Applejack and Fluttershy were having fun watching Spike and Onix play.
Only Sunset was away from the group, preparing in the kitchen for her guests... in addition to seeing the messages and photos that her girlfriend sent her.
"Sunny! Come and play with us!" said Pinkie.
"I'm coming!" said Sunset.
She came into the room with snacks, bowls full of fritters and goodies, with some drinks as well.
"I want it to be tomorrow" Rarity said excitedly.
"You're very excited" said Sunset.
"Of course darling, I've wanted to travel to Manhattan forever" said Rarity. "And now I'll go with one of my best friends"
"I really appreciate your invitation Rarity, but I do not want to be a nuisance to your family" said Twilight, adjusting her glasses.
"Of course not darling, I told you before, it's no trouble. I'm glad you're coming with me" said Rarity.
"So, you got everything ready for the trip?" Sunset asked, sipping her drink.
"I do, I have everything ready for tomorrow" Fluttershy said, stroking Spike.
"I still not, I will when I get home" said Rainbow, concentrating on the game.
"Remember we have to be up early Rainbow, or we'll miss the flight" Fluttershy said softly.
"I know, I know, don't worry" Rainbow said.
"I'm so super ready for the ApplePie meeting!" Pinkie said cheerfully.
"ApplePie?" said Twilight, confused.
"Applejack, Pinkie Pie, duh!" said Pinkie.
"Okay, okay, as Pinkie said, I'm also looking forward to our families getting together" Applejack said, stroking Onix.
"What about you Sunset? Are your friends and you ready for your trip to the forest?" Rarity asked.
"I've been talking to them," Sunset said, with the cell phone in hand. "They tell me everything is ready" she said.
"And to what forest will they go?" Rainbow asked.
"I do not remember the name, but it's supposed to one of the best campsites" Sunset said.
"Talking so much about the vacations makes me sleepy," Spike said. "Can we go to bed?" he asked.
"He's right, we should rest" said Sunset. "It will be a long day tomorrow for all of us"
Once they finished their games and the food, the Rainbooms got ready to sleep, in a few minutes, they all fell asleep. Except Sunset.
The messages from her girlfriend and her friends did not let her sleep, but they soon finished saying goodbye, and went to sleep.

The next morning, both parties were over. All the friends had left.
Sonata and Aria talked about topics of interest and Adagio was super concentrated on her phone, waiting for messages from her girlfriend.
"It's taken so long, when will she get here?" Aria said, a little impatiently.
"She said she'll be here soon, do not start with your moods" said Adagio.
"Calm down Aria, Sunny will be here soon" Sonata said.
"All right. But do not call Sunset 'Sunny' anymore" Aria said.
"Why?" she ask, confused.
"Because I get confused and think you're talking about Sunny Flare, just say Sunset" Aria said.
"Oh! You're right, I didn't even think of that," Sonata said. "But then why don't you tell Dagi that?" she ask.
"What?" said Aria.
"I don't call her Sunny" Adagio said. "I call her Sunsy"
"How cheesy" said Aria.
"You call Sonata: 'Nata', that's more cheesy" said Adagio.
"Shut up!" said Aria, annoyed.
"Make me!" Said Adagio, equally angry.
At that moment, Sunset appeared.
"Girls, fighting again?" asked Sunset.
"She started it!" Adagio and Aria said at the same time.
"I'm glad you got here just in time Sunset" Sonata said, relieved.
"I'm glad too Sonata, now if they have finished fighting, we can enter the mall?" said Sunset.
Once everything calmed down, the four girls walked into the mall and started shopping.
"Sunset! Can I bring marshmallows?" Sonata said.
"Sonata, we can not carry food on the plane" Adagio said.
"Don't worry Sonata, when we get to a store you can buy all the marshmallows you want" said Aria.
"Aww, thank you Ari," Sonata said, hugging her girlfriend.
"Yeah, yeah, you're welcome" said Aria.
"Well, now we have everything we need for the trip" said Sunset. "We just have to prepare everything to take the flight" she said.
"What time is our flight?" Adagio asked.
Sunset looked at her watch. "Well ... now it's 12 pm... In four hours," she said.
"Then we must hurry" said Aria.
"Right, let's go home and get everything ready" said Sunset.
They paid all their stuff, left the mall, and Sunset's car took them home.

When they got home, they quickly prepared everything. They also decided to take a bath and change clothes.
Later Sunset was the first to be ready. She waited in the living room for her friends.
"Are you ready?" asked Sunset.
"Relax, we're still on time" Aria said.
"It's two hours before our flight, and it takes us an hour to get through the airport, and an hour to actually get to the airport, we will not be on time!" Sunset said impatiently.
"Calm down honey, we'll be there in time" Adagio said, approaching her girlfriend. "We're still on time, don't worry" she said, kissing her girlfriend.
"Okay" said Sunset, a little calmer. "Wait, where's Sonata?" she asked.
"Here I am!" shouted a voice.
Sonata was coming down the stairs with her suitcase ready, and in the other hand she carried Onix.
"Sonata, Onix will not come with us, leave him in his cage" said Aria.
"Onix will come with us Aria" Sunset said.
"Really?" said Adagio, surprised.
"Yes, that's why I bought this" said Sunset, presenting a small animal cage.
"I thought you said the forest could be dangerous for him" said Aria.
"I know, but I can not leave him alone. Besides, I do not have anyone to take care of him" said Sunset, approaching Sonata to take her pet. "Onix will join us"
"Yes!" said Sonata excitedly.
"Well, now that everything is ready, can we leave?" Adagio asked.
"Yes, let's go" said Aria, walking to the door.
They left the house. This time, they took a taxi heading for the airport.

At last they arrived at the airport. They got out of the car. The four girls entered the place to wait for their flight. There was enough time after security they decided to eat something.
"Girls look what I bought!" Sonata said excitedly.
The young siren showed a book that said: "Survival Guide* by Eric Leblanc".
"A survival book?" Aria asked.
"Yes! I got one for each of us!" said Sonata, handing over the books.
"This is very useful Sonata, we can use it in the forest" said Sunset.
"Yeah, that's good you sometimes think" said Aria.
"Hey!" said Sonata, annoyed.
"Because you always do" said Aria.
Sonata responded with a hug to her girlfriend.
"You two have a very weird relationship" Adagio said.
"You and Sunset do too" Aria said.
"But I do not spend all day fighting with her" Adagio said.
"But she hit you with a rainbow" Aria said, smiling.
"It's different!" said Adagio.
"Stop fighting, it's time to go" said Sunset.
Once they calmed down, the four girls went with the other passengers. After all the inspection of their stuff, all the shopping, they finally got to board the plane.
Fortunately, they all sat nearby, Adagio and Sunset on the right side of the aisle, and Sonata and Aria on the left side.
After a few moments, the plane took off. The four girls were happy to travel together on vacation. It was going to be a great trip. Everything was fine, nothing could go wrong.

After four hours of sitting on the plane, the four girls of Equestria were tired and bored; Aria was leaning back in her seat while reading the survival book her girlfriend bought, Sonata was eating the plane food, Sunset was leaning on her girlfriend's shoulder, listening to music, and finally, Adagio was simply sitting, looking through the window, the clouds and the night sky, while caressing the hand of her partner. Suddenly, a woman's voice sounded on the speaker.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we will be experiencing some turbulence. Please fasten your seatbelts."
Something very normal on an airplane, nothing to worry about. Some passengers did not bother paying attention.
But a strong blow made Sunset and the Dazzlings react. The voice rang again.
"Keep calm and please-"
But another loud sound interrupted the woman, a part had come loose from the machine, and all the air was coming in. It was what everyone feared: the plane was falling. There were papers and objects flying everywhere, the television screens were distorted, even a couple of people flew through the air. Sunset and Adagio remained in their seats, hugging each other and trying to stay in their seats, but it was difficult. Aria and Sonata were in the same situation.
The plane descended more and more, but where? To the ocean? Some place with land? They did not know. The only thing they hoped for was not to die.
Sunset tried to see through the window, but it was late, the plane fell, and everything went black.

The lights of the plane were blinking, everything was chaos, it looked like a horror movie.
Sunset woke up and she was in pain. She noticed that she was still sitting in her seat, she peeked down the aisle of the plane, and what she saw surprised her.
He was a red man, literally, from head to toe. Sunset watched as the man took a small child in his arms, and after he walked away, Sunset fainted again.

A few hours later, in that horrible disaster, the first to wake up was Adagio. The first thing she saw through the window was a forest, there was a lot of light, so it was very early. She straightened up in her seat, looked to her right, and was relieved to see Sunset at her side.
"Sunsy? Love? Wake up," said Adagio, trying to wake up her girlfriend.
Luckily, she woke up.
"Ugh! My head!" Sunset said in pain. "Dagi? Are you okay?"
"I am now," Adagio said, hugging her girlfriend. "I thought I had lost you," she said.
"Me too," said Sunset, relieved.
At that moment, moans were heard.
"Ugh! Damn! That hurt!" Aria said.
"Aria!" said Sunset and Adagio.
They got up from their seats and went to help their friends.
"Are you okay?" Sunset asked.
"I think so," said Aria.
Sonata, on the other hand, was unconscious.
"Sonata? Nata?" Aria said, trying to wake her up.
"Mmmm ... Ari?" said the little mermaid.
"Yes, it's me, are you okay?" Aria asked, worried.
"I'm fine," said Sonata. "But where are we?" she asked, confused.
"It seems we landed in a forest," Adagio replied.
"Girls?" called Sunset.
"What's wrong?" said Adagio.
Sunset responded by pointing to the front, the plane had lost half of the machinery.
"We were very lucky in surviving," said Aria.
"What do we do now?" asked Sonata.
"I think the right thing to do would be to prepare to go out, find out if there is any food. We should also collect supplies, take whatever is useful," said Sunset.
The four girls walked on the plane, collecting all kinds of objects.
They found many useful things, bottles of alcohol, sodas, medicines, pieces of cloth, and a little food.
Aria had found the list of passengers and decided to take her, just in case.
"How will we handle all this?" Aria asked.
"Maybe our backpacks are here," said Adagio.
They checked the luggage, and luckily, they found their backpacks on the plane.
"We are very lucky today," said Sonata.
"The bad thing is that we lost our other suitcases," said Adagio.
"What do we do now?" asked Aria.
"We have to go out and explore," said Sunset, with her backpack on her back. "And find out where we are," she said.
"Girls?" called Sonata.
"What's wrong?" said Sunset.
Sonata did not answer, her friends approached and discovered what she saw. It was the body of a woman, the stewardess, dead with the fire ax buried in her body.
"You have to be kidding," said Adagio.
"This will be worse than that madhouse," said Aria.
Suddenly, Sunset remembered something, went back, and checked all the luggage and everything else.
"Sunset? What's wrong? "Adagio asked, confused.
"I cannot find Onix!" Sunset said desperately.
"What?!" Sonata said, worried.
"I cannot find his cage, it's not there!" said Sunset.
"Sunset, honey, calm down," said Adagio. "We'll find it.”
"Yes, maybe it's over there," Aria said. "Or maybe he’s-"
"Do not say it!" said Sunset, annoyed. "He's fine. I know he is.”
"She's right," Sonata said, in the same way.
"You have to get out," said Sunset, walking.
"But Sunset, we do not know what's out there," Sonata said.
"I think I know," said Sunset.
"What are you talking about?" Asked Aria.
"After the accident, I saw something, or someone. He was a man, and he was painted red from head to toe. He was half naked, he is surely a native. I thought it was a dream, but I think I'm wrong," explained Sunset.
"Maybe they'll help us?" Sonata said.
"I do not think so, Sonata. I also saw that he took a person in his arms, a child. I do not think the natives here are friendly," said Sunset.
"Do you think they are... cannibals?" Aria asked.
"It's a possibility," said Sunset.
"We must be careful when leaving," said Adagio.
"But we do not have anything to defend ourselves," said Sonata.
"In the survival book it says how to create weapons," said Aria.
"Really?" said Sunset.
"Yes, like a stone ax, a spear, a bow, arrows, and homemade bombs," said Aria.
"Perfect. What do we need?" asked Adagio.
"The basics, sticks and stones," said Aria.
"All right. Time to leave," said Sunset.
She approached the body of the stewardess and withdrew the ax, going outside, followed by her friends. The forest did not seem so bad, it looked nice, and there were some suitcases around.
"Now what do we do?" asked Sonata.
"Let's pack our bags, to have more supplies," said Sunset.
"But they do not belong to us," Sonata said.
"It does not matter, anyway the owners are dead," said Aria.
"We do not know that, but we do not have a choice," said Adagio.
Then, they started to open suitcases. They found some interesting things such as alcohol bottles, sodas, candy bars, tennis balls, pieces of cloth, pills, wristwatches, money, and batteries.
"I cannot fit any more in my backpack," Sonata said.
"Me neither," said Adagio.
"What do we do now?" asked Aria.
"Well, I'll go find Onix," said Sunset.
"But Sunset, we do not know how big this place is, you could get lost," said Aria.
"I don’t care, I will not leave Onix alone," said Sunset.
"Sunset wait!" said Adagio, stopping her girlfriend.
"What's wrong?" said Sunset.
"Look, I know you're worried about Onix, but let's not make the same mistake as in the insane asylum. We do not have to separate," said Adagio.
"I know, but, he has never been abroad," said Sunset. "I know he may seem like only a pet, but not to me, he's my friend."
"I love Onix too, we all love him," said Adagio. "Do not worry, we'll find him," she said, kissing her girlfriend.
"It's okay, I just hope it's okay," said Sunset.
"He'll be fine, he's as strong as his mistress," Adagio said, smiling.
"Okay," said Sunset, laughing. "Then we should look for a place to create a shelter."
"How about the beach?" suggested Aria, pointing to the sound of the sea.
"It's not a bad idea, come on," said Adagio.
They left the forest and found the beach. There were a few more suitcases, there were also the dead bodies of sharks, and in the sea, a few meters away, there was a yacht.
"Is it a ship?" Sonata asked.
"A yacht, actually," said Adagio.
"Do you think there are people inside?" asked Aria.
"I do not think so, it seems very old, we should go check," said Sunset.
"But the shelter..." Sonata said.
"We will do it here," said Aria.
"Thinking better, maybe it's not a good idea," said Sunset.
"Why do you say that?" Adagio asked.
"The cannibals can come at night, and we would not have anything to protect us," said Sunset.
"Cannibals do not approach the water, a place near the sea would be perfect," said Aria.
"How do you know all that?" asked Adagio.
"It says in the survival book," said Aria.
"Very well, then what is the plan?" Sonata asked.
"Sonata and Adagio, you collect materials to make a shelter, Aria and I will go to the boat," said Sunset.
"And how will you get there?" asked Adagio.
"Swimming," Aria replied.
"Are you crazy?! There are sharks!" said Adagio.
"Do not worry, we'll be fine," said Sunset.
"Plus, if you do not see any shark nearby, these were the only ones," said Aria, pointing to the bodies of the dead sharks.
"All right. But come back quickly," said Adagio.
Sunset and Aria began to swim to the yacht, being very careful not to run into a shark, while Sonata and Adagio collected materials for shelter. Luckily, Sunset and Aria reached the boat unscathed, prepared their weapon, just in case, and climbed on. Immediately, Sunset found a yacht magazine.
"1984, I told you it was an old ship," said Sunset.
"Let's go in," said Aria.
Once inside, they examined the place, it seemed empty.
"Aria?" called Sunset.
"It’s clear here," Aria said.
"Here too, almost," said Sunset.
"Almost?" Aria asked.
Sunset pointed to the captain's cabin, there was a body of a dead and mummified man.
"We better keep investigating," said Aria.
"Yes, let's check if there are useful things," said Sunset.
Indeed, there were useful things on the yacht. They found 2 tapes, 4 pieces of cloth, 3 candy bars, 1 soda, 1 skull, 3 ropes, and alcohol drinks. Even found strange things: Sunset found multiple drawings of a strange device on the table of the yacht. She decided to take one of the papers, just out of curiosity. On the other hand, Aria found a milk carton with the face of a missing child.
"Aria, look, I found 2 air tanks," said Sunset.
"Is there a diving team here?" Aria asked, surprised.
"Don’t know. I just found this, maybe somewhere on the island," replied Sunset.
"Maybe, I found a cassette player and a cassette," said Aria.
Sunset checked the kitchen and found something unusual, a very bizarre photograph.
"Aria, look at this," she said, showing the image.
It was a creature, which looked like it was made up of two bodies (possibly three) that were struggling and writhing against each other. It had 6 legs, claw feet, had breasts, and 6 malformed arms (four of which seem to have been split in half). It did not have any facial features.
"What is that?" Aria asked in disgust.
"I do not know, here says Virginia, maybe it's the name," said Sunset.
"But where did they get that picture? From the forest?" asked Aria.
"Maybe the owners of the yacht knew what they were getting into before they got to the island, that would explain the photo and these strange drawings," said Sunset.
"So, there are not only cannibals, there are also mutants here," says Aria.
"Yes, but we have already gone through these types of situations," said Sunset.
"Sure, but these are cannibals, and brainless mutants," said Aria.
"I've already faced a cannibal before, and I beat him," said Sunset. "This will not be the same as at Mount Massive, now we can defend ourselves.”
"Well, whatever you say," Aria said.
"Let's go back to the others," said Sunset.
But before that, they discovered something else, something different, a locked door, that could only be entered with an electronic card. They did not see any use in that, so they decided to leave.
Both girls left the yacht, making sure that there were no sharks nearby, and entered the sea, swimming to the shore.
When they arrived, they saw that Sonata and Adagio had built two temporary shelters and a campfire.
"Wow! Awesome," said Sunset.
"Thanks, the guide is very useful," said Sonata.
"Did you find anything?" Adagio asked.
"We found two tanks of oxygen for a diver, and a little food too," said Sunset, sitting next to her girlfriend.
"I found an old cassette player and a cassette," said Aria, sitting next to Sonata.
"And also, we found this," said Sunset, showing the photograph of the mutant.
"God... what's that?" asked Adagio, disgusted.
"It's a monster... like the others," Sonata said, a little scared.
"Easy Sonata," said Aria. "Apparently cannibals are not our only concern."
"It seems that there are mutants here too," said Sunset.
"Why would there be mutants on an island?" Adagio asked confused.
"I do not know, this place hides many things, like in the asylum," said Sunset.
"I do not want to think about that anymore, I just want to sleep," said Sonata.
"First we have to eat," said Aria.
"You're right, but we did not bring food. And we only found sodas and candy bars," said Sunset.
"Actually, I found this on the plane," Adagio said, reaching into her backpack.
In it, there were four cans of tomato soup.
"It's not much, but it will be enough for tonight," said Adagio.
They placed the cans in the fire, with great caution, and while they waited for the food to be ready, they kept alert in case some cannibal or monster appeared, but nobody came near, that was a relief.
"Then... what will we do tomorrow?" Sonata asked.
"Well, we have to explore the island, get food and supplies," said Sunset.
"She's right, but now it's too late, it's about to get dark," Aria said.
When the meal was ready, the girls ate while they talked about their plans for tomorrow, once they finished their dinner, they prepared to sleep. Aria and Sonata slept together in one temporary shelter, and Sunset and Adagio in the other, but the former unicorn could not sleep.
"Sunsy? What's wrong?" Adagio asked.
"I cannot sleep, I cannot stop thinking about Onix," said Sunset, worried.
"Do not worry about him, we'll find him," said Adagio.
"I hope so, I do not want to think he could be... you know," said Sunset.
"I know, but do not think about that," said Adagio. "Also, Onix has been left alone before."
"Yes, it's true, but not for so long," said Sunset. "And if he is hurt? Or he’s hungry?" she said, anguished.
"Calm down, if you get scared you will not help him, we'll find him Sunset, I promise," Adagio said, hugging her girlfriend.
"Thanks Adagio," said Sunset.
"You are welcome. But we will not find him if we are tired, let us go to sleep and we can look for him in the morning, okay?" said Adagio.
"Okay, good night Dagi," said Sunset.
"Good night, Sunsy," said Adagio.
After a few minutes, Adagio was deeply asleep, but Sunset was still awake, trying not to think of Onix, but it was impossible. The little ferret was not just a pet, it was her best friend, her partner, he was always with her when she felt scared or distressed.
"Do not worry, Onix... I'll find you... even if it's the last thing I do," thought Sunset.
She was relieved to hear the sound of the waves hitting the shore of the beach, and the sound of burning wood.
"Good night friend," said Sunset, before falling asleep.

The next morning, the first of the group to wake up was Sunset, hugging her girlfriend.
"We've been very lucky, but it will not last long" said Sunset.
She realized she was the only one with a weapon, the plane axe. It was not very good, but at least she had something. Her friends had nothing.
And finally, Adagio. Sunset reviewed the guide and found the perfect weapon. Bow and arrows. And a quiver. First, she started with the bow, which needed a stick, a piece of cloth, and a rope. Then continuing with the arrows, Sunset scavanged some feathers that fell off seagulls. With two sticks and ten feathers, she made ten arrows.
"What are you doing?" Aria asked, half asleep.
"Hi, good morning" said Sunset. "Since today we have to explore the island, we need to protect ourselves, so I made this for you" she said, showing off the stone axe.
"Wow, thanks" Aria said, a little surprised. "And, what do you need now?" she asked.
"Three rabbit skins" Sunset replied.
"Okay" Aria said, getting up. She took her new axe and entered the forest.
"Wait, where are you going?" asked Sunset.
"I'll go get your rabbits. I'll even bring something to eat" said Aria, pocketing her own guidebook.
"You know I don't eat meat" said Sunset.
"Well you should consider it, since we have found no fruits or vegetarian things you can eat" said Aria, walking into the woods.
Sunset thought about what Aria said and it was true. How she would survive if she didn't eat meat?
"I think she's right, I have no choice" said Sunset. "I'll have to eat... meat" She shivered a little.
Then, she looked at the ocean and came up with an idea.

"Good morning, Ari" Sonata said. "Did you find any food?"
"I... yes, and I found something else" said Aria.
"What thing?" asked Sonata.
"A cannibal camp, close to a lake" Aria said.
"T-they see you?" Sonata asked nervously.
"No, I don't think so" said Aria. "But this place is no longer safe, we need to find another place"
"But where?" Sonata said.
"I think I know where we can camp" said Sunset, returning to the shore.
"Where?" said Aria.
"Over there" Sunset said, pointing to her right.
In the distance was a cliff with a large tree almost on the edge.
"You said yesterday that the cannibals didn't make it to the cliffs, if that's true, we'll be safe up there" said Sunset.
"That's a great idea, Sunset!" Sonata said happily.
"Yes, I hope so" said Aria. "And what do we do now?"
"First, let's have breakfast, then we'll go upstairs, set up a shelter, and finally, we'll explore the island" Sunset replied.
"Sounds like a good plan to me" said a voice.
"Dagi! You're up!" Sonata said, smiling.
"Yes, I'm sorry I didn't come with you before, there's no alarm clock here" Adagio said.
"No problem, let's have breakfast" said Sunset.
"And what are you going to eat?" Aria asked.
"Well, I have no choice, I have to eat meat" said Sunset.
"But Sunset, you're a vegetarian" Sonata said worriedly.
"I know, but I have no choice" said Sunset.
"So... you want rabbit?" Aria asked, showing a piece of meat.
"No thanks" said Sunset, disgusted.
"But you just said you would eat meat" said Adagio.
"Yes, but not red meat" said Sunset. "I'll eat fish"
"That's fine then" Adagio said.
"I'll cook!" Sonata shouted happily.
A few minutes later, Sonata finished cooking the rabbits and the fish for Sunset. It was difficult for Sunset. The taste of the fish was not so bad, but even so, she didn't like the idea of eating meat. It would only be for this time, she couldn't stand another day eating meat, she had to find another way to survive. After the food, they cleaned everything.
"Well, now I'm going to take a bath" Adagio said, getting up.
"Where? In the sea?" Sunset asked.
"Where else could I?" said Adagio.
"Well, I don't know, in a lake" said Sunset.
"There was a cannibal camp nearby and they were near a lake" Aria said.
"Exactly. I will not expose my body to a bunch of filthy natives" Adagio said, approaching her girlfriend. "Only to you~" in a sensual whisper, arms around Sunset's neck.
"Really? Are you going to start with your flirtations? Now?" said Aria.
"And what? Do you think being on an island in the middle of nowhere prevents me from being with my girlfriend?" Adagio asked, a little annoyed.
"She's right" Sonata said.
"Anyway, but it's no time for those things, right? Sunset?" Aria said, looking at the girl.
"I-I'm, yeah. S-she's right" said Sunset, regaining her composure. "Sorry Dagi, but we can't do this now"
"Fine" said Adagio, separating. "But at least, you could help bring me clothes when I'm done?" she asked.
"Sure, no problem" Sunset said.
"Well then" said Adagio, looking in her suitcase for a towel and other things. "I'll see you later~" she said, kissing her girlfriend's cheek. Then she left.
"You're pathetic, you know that?" Aria said.
"What are you talking about?" Sunset said, surprised. "You do things like this with Sonata"
"Yes, but we don't expose ourselves like you two" Aria said.
"Look, I'm not in the mood to fight" said Sunset, checking Adagio's backpack. "We need to be together in this place, not bickering" she said, taking a set of clothes. "I'm going back now" she said, retreating.
When they were alone, Sonata looked angrily at Aria.
"What?" asked Aria.
"Why did you do that?" Sonata said, annoyed.
"Because I like to annoy them" said Aria.
"That's not right Aria!" screamed Sonata in annoyance.
"Don't scream" said Aria. "If I apologize, will you stop being angry?"
"No! I'll stop being annoyed when you stop disturbing others" Sonata said angrily.
Aria was very surprised. She had never seen Sonata so upset; she was always happy or sometimes even scared, but never angry.
"Fine... fine. I'll stop doing those things" said Aria. "Just... stop being mad at me"
"Okay, I forgive you" Sonata said, sighing. "As soon as Sunset and Adagio return, you'll excuse yourself, okay?"
"Yes, sure, whatever you say" said Aria.
Sonata smiled and kissed her girlfriend on the cheek.
"That's the way I like it!" Sonata said happily.
"Yeah, me too, you know, seeing you happy" said Aria, a little flushed.
"Awww, I love you too Ari" Sonata said.
After those romantic moments, everyone prepared to go out into the woods. They changed into more comfortable clothes.
Sonata wore a blue jacket with her cutie mark, gray pants, and sky-blue shoes. Aria wore navy blue pants, a black T-shirt with a big green star, sports shoes in the color purple, and fingerless gloves; she also changed her hairstyle, now she wearing a ponytail. Adagio wored black shorts, a sleeveless purple blouse, pink sport shoes, a music-symbol belt, two wristbands, and due to humidity, her hair shrunk a little bit. Finally, Sunset wore blue pants, a white T-shirt, black jacket, and black shoes.
They prepared their weapons as they had been chosen. Adagio took the bow and the arrows that Sunset made for her, Aria the stone axe, Sonata the spear, and Sunset the plane axe.
"Okay, are you ready?" Sunset asked, taking her backpack.
"We're ready, Sunsy" Adagio said.
"Where will we go?" Sonata asked.
"We will explore the forest, find supplies and food, then return here before we go to the cliff that has that big tree by the edge" said Sunset.
"Are you sure it's a good idea to be so close to a cliff?" Adagio asked.
"The cannibals will not approach the cliffs, we'll be fine" Aria replied.
"Exactly, there will be no problem" said Sunset. "Let's hurry before nightfall"
They took their things and entered the forest, and as Aria said, there was a lake and a cannibal camp.
"What do we do now?" whispered Sonata.
"I say we go in, they must have many useful things" whispered Aria.
"Need I remind you that we are not very well armed?" Adagio said.
"She's right, but we need supplies" Sunset said. "If something goes wrong, we go back to camp"
Although some did not want to, they entered the camp. It was not a nice place. Luckily, there was no sign of anyone. There were four small woven huts made of straw, they seemed like they would house many cannibals, although it did not necessarily seem a home. In silence, they explored the camp.
Surprisingly, they found a large quantity and variety of items, including dynamite, flares, pieces of cloth, ropes, soda, snacks, money and coins. They even had several suitcases scattered, providing more supplies for the girls, such as wristwatches and batteries.
Sunset pulled a notebook and a pencil from her bag, she wanted to record as much as possible on the natives of the island. But she had an alternative motive: to find any clues to the whereabouts of Onix.
"I think we're done here" Adagio said.
"All right. Can we go back?" asked Sonata.
"Not yet" replied Sunset.
"What?" Aria said, surprised.
"I want to explore a little more" said Sunset.
"But Sunset, it's dangerous" Sonata said.
"I know Sonata, but we still need to find food, and we'll need more if we face the cannibals" Sunset said.
"She's right" said Aria.
"But Sunset, we don't have a map, we don't know how big this island is" Adagio said.
"I know, but I was thinking of leaving pieces of cloth in the trees, so we could go back without any problems" she said.
"It could work" Aria said.
"Okay, but if we don't find anything, we'll turn back, okay?" Adagio said.
"Well, let's go" said Sunset.
Then they walked a little further, and to their bad luck, they found the dead bodies of crucified men. There were three that could be seen. In the background, there was a strange formation of rocks, they advanced a little, and they found another cannibal site as bats flew out from behind the stones.
"Damn sons of batman!" Aria said angrily.
"Where did they come from?" said Adagio, fixing her hair.
"Girls, look!" said Sonata, pointing.
"It looks like a cave" said Sunset.
"What do we do?" asked Sonata.
"We'll go in" said Sunset, taking her axe. "Ready?"
Adagio prepared her bow, Aria her stone axe, and Sonata her spear. Armed, they entered the cave.

Once they recovered from the clash, the four girls of equestria are organizing to look for materials, and to be able to face the cannibals and other dangers of the island.
Now they have entered a strange cave.
They will only know if still follow the story.

Upon entering the cave, they could not see anything. At the back of the cave, a light could be discerned, but it was very small. Sunset made few torches with a stick, a piece of cloth, and a bottle of alcohol. Aria used a lighter to light one, but it did not illuminate much. Sonata and Adagio kept their weapons ready for any approaching threat.
"Don't separate, we have to be together" said Sunset.
"I think this was a bad idea" Sonata said.
They went through the tunnel to the origin of that light, a lamp made of a skull and sticks. Next to it was a wooden wall with another cannibal banner, a human head and a chamber inside the mouth.
"Every time I am surprised at what they are capable of" said Adagio.
"Shall we continue, Sunset?" Aria asked.
"Yes, help me break through this" said Sunset.
Together, they used their axes to break the wall of boards. Once destroyed, they continued on.
The girls took their weapons and attacked. Sunset dropped her torch and got one of them with her plane axe, although it hurt him, it was not that strong, and her arms tired quickly. Aria did the same with other cannibals, but her axe was very heavy, and it was difficult to wield. Sonata watched everything, her hands trembled so that even the spear trembled as well. A cannibal approached her, and Sonata tried to attack him with her spear, but failed in all her attempts. The cannibal was about to attack her, until an arrow pierced the native's head, killing him. It was Adagio, who did the same to help Sunset and Aria.
"That was... close" Aria said wearily.
"Yes, I hope there are no more cannibals nearby" said Sunset, catching her breath.
Adagio approached her sister, who was still in shock.
"Sonata, are you okay?" she asked, worried.
"I... don't... know..." she breathed.
"Sonata?" Aria said, approaching.
"I... I couldn't do anything... I... just-" Sonata said.
"Don't worry Sonata, we were taken by surprise" said Sunset.
"Do you want to go back?" Adagio asked.
"No, I'm fine" Sonata said.
"Sure?" Aria asked.
"Yes, no problem" Sonata said, smiling. "Now where are we going?"
"We have two ways, the question is where to go" said Sunset, re-lighting her torch.
"Let's go to the right, that dead body hanging from the left does not make me want to go that way" said Aria, lighting her torch.
"Then on the right, let's go" said Sunset, advancing.
They advanced, walking by a kind of hollow without problems. A big puddle, they jumped it. They continued normally, the road was a very narrow one, but nothing complicated.
"Let's go straight" said Sunset.
They continued all the way straight, there were many small stones all over the floor. They reached an area with a huge pool of water, in the distance there was another crucified corpse.
"Wait, look at the ceiling" she whispered.
It was dark, but the girls were able to distinguish strange formations of rocks on the ceiling.
"What's wrong?" asked Adagio.
"There's something strange about the ceiling. Those things... they don't look like rocks" Aria whispered.
"So what are they?" asked Sunset.
"C-Cannibals" whispered Sonata.
"Sonata, are you sure?" Adagio asked.
"Yeah, look. It looks like they're resting" Sonata whispered.
"Or camouflaged, good eye Sonata" Sunset whispered. "Now we have to figure out how we will pass without being surprised."
"First you have to know how many they are, maybe they outnumber us" said Aria.
"They look like four, maybe five, that's all I can see" Sunset whispered.
"Maybe Dagi..." Sonata whispered. "With her arrows-"
"Could kill them right away!" Sunset whispered. "Good thinking Sonata!"
"T-Thank you" Sonata whispered, smiling a little.
"Do you think you can take them, Adagio?" Aria asked.
"I hope so" Adagio whispered, preparing her bow.
"Wait" said Sunset, taking a piece of cloth and moistening it with a bottle of alcohol. "Light it before you shoot it"
"Arrows of fire? Honey, you shouldn't have~" Adagio said, smiling.
"I know, good luck" said Sunset, smiling.
Once lit, Adagio prepared the bow, pointed at the cannibal she could see the most. Loosed the arrow, and indeed the first cannibal fell. And two others jumped.
"Adagio, stay here and try to shoot down the others. Girls, come with me" Sunset said, rushing to action.
Aria and Sonata followed, Sunset attacking those who were on fire with Aria's help. Sonata only hurt some cannibals, but managed to get one to hit another in flames and both cannibals were burned. Finally, Adagio shot two arrows at the last cannibal, who fell while her friends finished off the rest of them.
"This was harder than last time" Aria said wearily.
"Yes, that's true, but we're getting better" said Sunset, catching her breath.
"What do we do now?" asked Sonata.
"Let's move" said Sunset.
They walked until they reached the crucified corpse. The man was half-naked, he had suitcases all around, the only thing in them were pieces of cloth.
"Why do they do this to people?" asked Sonata.
"I don't know, it must be their way of punishing them, I guess" Aria said.
Sunset looked around and saw some boards on the floor, and there were more after those. They formed a path.
"Girls, this way" said Sunset.
They followed with the help of some oil lanterns helping them to see the road. They continued for a long time, until they reached a room full of loot and food. They found a man, probably from Asia, with a severed arm. Two other dead in painful positions, and a head on a wooden table.
"I think I'm going to vomit" said Sonata disgustedly.
"Try not to Sonata, please" said Adagio, equally disgusted.
"Look at all this, I think coming to this cave was not a bad idea" said Aria, looking at the booty.
"I feel bad about taking these things from these people," Sunset said.
"They're plane passengers" Aria said.
"How do you know?" Adagio asked.
"We took the passenger list from the plane. These guys were businessmen; look, they have cards with their names" said Aria.
"Poor people" Sonata said.
"There's nothing we can do for them, we better take what we can and get out of here" Adagio said.
Sunset looked at the Asian man with the severed arm. He had some laptops, and something else on his knees. A katana!
"Wow! Cool weapon Sunset!" Sonata said, surprised.
"Thanks, this will definitely be helpful" said Sunset, admiring her new weapon.
In addition to the katana, the room also contained a suitcase full of cash, various laptops, medical kits, wristwatches, and food trays. In the same area, Sonata found a flashlight behind some wooden boards.
"Okay, now that we found some good stuff, can we leave?" asked Adagio.
"Yes, let's go back the same way" said Sunset.
And they did, but they found some new areas to explore. Sonata found another cassette and Aria found a strange paper.
"I thought we would never get out of there" Adagio said.
"Hehe! Sorry Dagi, but look! I have another cassette to listen to" Sonata said.
"Good for you, Sonata" said Aria. "The only thing I found was this stupid paper"
"Can I see it?" Sunset asked.
"Hold on" Aria said, handing the paper over.
Sunset looked at the paper, and was surprised to see it. It was written in Latin and presented a gray image of a kind of hole. It seems to refer to the Virginia mutant babies. Also, it had the image of Christ. Apparently they were not the only ones on this island. Maybe a group of priests came here and tried to use their crosses on the mutants, perhaps even traps, with no result. Or maybe it belongs to Christian missionaries. Thousands of theories flooded her head.
"This is interesting" said Sunset. "This can help me to know more about the island"
After a few hours they returned by the same road before returning to the cannibal camp by the lake. Suddenly they heard noises from the natives.
"God damn! Now what?" asked Adagio, preparing her bow.
In the distance, Aria found an entrance to another cave.
"Follow me!" she said, running to the cave.
"But we just came out of a cave!" said Sonata.
"There is no choice, come on!" said Sunset.
They went into another cave. This one was different from the previous one. There was no light, Aria prepared a torch, Sonata used the flashlight, and Sunset and Adagio prepared their weapons.
"That weapon is very useful" Sonata said.
"Yes, it's very efficient" said Sunset. "And what do you want to do? Shall we return or explore?"
"I want to go back" said Adagio.
"Me too," Sonata said.
"I want to explore, I want to find a weapon like you" Aria said, walking.
"We just left another cave Aria, we must return before it is night" said Adagio.
"You guys go back if you want, I'll explore this cave" said Aria. "Are you coming Sunset?"
"Well, in this cave there might be information about the island... okay, I'll follow you" Sunset said.
"Sunset, are you serious?" said Adagio.
"Please Adagio, we will only explore this cave and we will return" said Sunset. "We'll be safer in numbers"
"Besides, Sunset is the only one who knows the way back" said Sonata.
"True. Okay, let's get this over with" said Adagio.
They continued on their way, finding some interesting things, like ropes and pieces of cloth. As they did so, Aria found a winding road to a very hidden entrance.
"Let's go this way" Aria said.
Without objection, they walked down the road, until they came to a climbing rope hanging down. A skull lamp hung there and illuminated the area.
"After you" said Adagio to Aria.
Aria was the first, followed by the others. They went down the rope, took a little time but they arrived. There was a small puddle of water with pieces of flesh floating, and a mummified body. They walked to the bottom and found a pile of boxes, some suitcases and most importantly, a good stash of loot.
"You see? I told them it was a good idea to come in" said Aria.
"Okay, I'll admit it, you were right" Adagio said.
There were medicines, cloths, dynamite, sodas, and many interesting things. Aria found something very valuable in the background, beside an oil lamp there was an axe! It was not a stone axe, it was much better, very modern one.
"You're not the only one who will have all the fun, Sunset" Aria said with her new axe.
"I'm not looking for fun, but if you want to tear up cannibals, go ahead" Sunset said.
As they searched, Sunset found a strange paper next to a bucket of red paint. It was a kind of report, talking about a victim dying from vertical lacerations along the spine. She did not know it was exactly, but it seemed important.
"Videos recorded on this island?" Sunset asked, to herself.
"What?" said Adagio in surprise.
"These are videos that were recorded here!" Sunset said, taking one of the many videos.
"On this island?" Sonata asked.
"Girls, we're not stranded on an island, we're on a peninsula!" said Sunset.
"And that's worse?" said Aria.
"No, well, I don't know" Sunset said, looking through the videos. "An island is completely surrounded by water. But a peninsula is much larger, it is an extension of land stuck to another country."
"You mean there's a way to escape?" asked Sonata in surprise.
"I don't know Sonata, this island has many secrets" said Sunset. "Like in the asylum"
"Well, until we find a way off this peninsula, we must survive as long as possible" Adagio said.
"And we should found Onix too" said Aria.
"Yeah, you right" Sunset said, smiling. "Let's continue exploring this cave"
"Before we leave here, I want to say something" said Sonata.
"What's wrong?" asked Sunset.
"I found something, it could be useful" Sonata said.
They went up to Sonata and she showed a couple of boxes, full of cans. Cans of food, to be specific.
"Oh yeah! It's perfect!" Sunset said happily, checking the cans. "They're still good, we can eat them!"
"Good work, Sona" Adagio said, ruffling her hair.
"Yes, today you had good ideas, the arrows, and now this" said Aria, smiling.
"Thank you girls, it was nothing" said Sonata, blushing.
"There are like 10 boxes, take as much as we can, and at another time we can return for the others" said Sunset.
"Good plan" Adagio said.
They managed to raise up to five boxes, as they continued to explore the cave. There were not many surprises, a few cannibals, but nothing serious.
"Okay, can we go back?" Adagio asked.
"Yeah, let's go back" Sunset said.
"Girls?" called Aria.
"What's up, Ari?" Sonata asked.
"There's a cannibal camp outside, and it's big" Aria said.
"Well, we have dynamite and new weapons" Sunset said, smiling. "Let us show these natives what we are capable."
Taking their weapons, they left the cave.

The sun was about to set in the distance, the day was leaving to give way to the night. After five hours of confronting the cannibals, the girls made it to the cliff. The fight against so many cannibals had stained their clothes with blood and dirt. They looked like feral warriors. When they neared the giant tree, they found a kind of effigy. Two wooden circles placed vertically around a woman's head, which was attached to her by her hair tied like cobwebs.
"What a day!" Adagio said wearily.
"And what will we do tomorrow?" Aria asked.
"I think for now, it was enough exploration" said Sunset. "Tomorrow we will only concentrate on building a shelter"
"I like that idea" Sonata said.
"Well, I don't know about you but I'll go take a bath" Adagio said, getting up. "Coming Sunset~?"
"You know what? I don't care about anything anymore, come on" said Sunset, walking beside her girlfriend, towards the sea.
"You didn't say anything, I'm proud of you Aria!" said Sonata.
"Yes, I thought that after what you'd been through today, you deserved it" said Aria.
"Thank you, but the truth, I was very scared" Sonata said.
"But it's made you look brave" Aria said, smiling. "And you need something stronger than that weak spear" she said, handing over the stone axe.
"Are you sure?" Sonata said, surprised.
"Yes, take it" said Aria.
Sonata accepted the weapon, with gladly and a smile. "Thank you. Now what do we do?" she asked.
"Let's go to the beach to clean up" Aria said, standing up.
"R-Really?" Sonata said, blushing.
"Yes, let's go" said Aria, offering her hand, which her lady accepted.
Holding hands, the girls went to the other side of the beach, smiling all the while.

For her first days on a deserted peninsula, with native cannibals, these four girls, will not have as many problems as they thought.
And especially with these new weapons , But they have not yet faced the most dangerous of this island.

Four days since Sunset and the Dazzlings entered the caves, they decided to stop their exploration of the peninsula and concentrate on building a refuge. First, they started building their main house, and after reviewing the survival guide, they found the materials to build. They found something called a wall of rocks: a defensive structure made with only rocks, so they decided to build the walls of the house with rocks. There were many rocks on the beaches and in the forest, they built some items to help them transport rocks. To make a rock bag, capable of storing 10 rocks, they needed 3 rabbit skins, 1 piece of cloth, and 3 ropes, so only Adagio and Sonata had these bags.
-2 bonfires (to light up the night, get warm from the cold, and to burn the bodies of cannibals, but that was something that only Aria did)
Aria and Sunset returned to the shelter, with transporters full of logs. Adagio built something she found very useful for her: a wooden target, an element where you can practice the skill of the bow. It is useful to practice aiming with the bow, and the arrows can be collected from the surface of the target after they have been used. It can be constructed with 4 sticks, 1 trunk, and 1 blue paint (for that you need 2 blueberries and 1 tree sap).
"More logs?" Adagio asked, seeing Sunset and Aria.
"Yes, Sunset wants to build something else," said Aria, dragging the log transporter.
"Again?" Adagio said, surprised. "We have just finished this stone house. What do you want to build Sunset?" she asked, looking at her girlfriend.
"I found something very interesting, and very useful," said Sunset, reviewing her guide.
"What is it?" Sonata asked.
"Defensive walls. It is a structure to protect us from cannibals. We will have to build a door that will allow us to enter and leave the place, without fear of losing our things," explained Sunset.
"But the cannibals do not come up to the cliffs," Sonata said, confused.
"Yes, but I do not want to take risks, besides, it will also protect us from mutants," said Sunset.
"That's true" said Aria.
"But Sunset, we just finished the shelter," said Adagio, tired.
"We cannot lower our guard, Adagio," said Sunset. "Those monsters can attack us at any time, we need to be ready."
"And while you make that wall, I want to make traps," said Aria, reviewing the guide.
"I'll help you!" Sonata said, next to her.
"Well, in that case, I'll help you, Sunsy," said Adagio.
"Excellent!" said Sunset. "Help me build the reinforcement defensive barriers, that will increase the strength of the wall."
"Okay? ... and what do you need?" Adagio asked.
"We need a lot of sticks and stones," said Sunset.
"Yay! Another day of construction!" said Sonata, happy.

And so they were, they spent the rest of the day building. Sunset and Adagio had built most of the defensive walls and barriers already. A few meters ahead, Aria and Sonata built some traps, one in particular: the Happy Birthday trap, a trap that springs from the ground and slams in the face of the cannibals, as normal class cannibals and even leaders die instantly in this trap. It takes 4 logs, 10 sticks, and 6 rocks for its construction. Once fired, the trap can be reset with only 1 stick.
"I want to rest!" said Sonata, tired.
"Yes, let's rest," said Adagio, equally tired.
"Well, it's almost time for dinner, come on," said Sunset.
"Cool! What will we eat?" said Adagio.
"Sonata? Are you too tired to cook?" Sunset asked.
"Food!" Sonata said, running to the shelter.
"That's a no," Aria said, following her girlfriend.
They went back inside to prepare for lunch. Next to the house, there was a bonfire and two wooden benches, where they could eat quietly in the open air.
"Thanks for lending me this, Aria," she said, handing over the object.
"You're welcome," said Aria.
"What is that?" asked Adagio.
"It's a hammer I built, it's good for repairs," said Aria. "Just need 1 rock, 2 sticks, 2 cloths, and 10 tree saps."
"Yes, it helped me a lot when building the defensive walls," said Sunset.
"And what other things do you have?" Adagio asked.
"I also have bombs, the survival guide said how to make them. Just need 1 bottle of alcohol, 5 coins, 1 circuit board, and 1 watch," said Aria.
"That will be very useful against the cannibals, or for the mutants," said Sunset. "Anything else?"
"Well, I can make a head bomb with them. I only need 1 cannibal head, and 1 homemade bomb," said Aria.
"That will be a surprise for the cannibals. Anything else?" said Sunset.
"I also have sticky bombs. They are like normal ones, but they have tree saps. When you throw one the enemy, they will not be able to escape from it," said Aria.
"It's good that you're well prepared Aria, that will help when we go out and explore," said Sunset.
"Very well! The food is ready!" said Sonata, happy. "Lizard meat for Ari," said Sonata, delivering the dish.
"Veggie soup, for Sunsy~" said Adagio, delivering the food.
"A grilled fish for me!" Sonata said.
"And a can of meatballs for me," Adagio said.
All together they sat down to eat.
"So, what will we do next?" Sonata asked.
"I want to go explore," said Aria, eating.
"I think we've had enough rest, it would be a good idea," said Sunset.
"But Sunset, we went exploring a few days ago," said Adagio.
"I know, but we cannot stay in one place forever, we must expand, learn more about this peninsula," said Sunset.
"But I do not want to explore, I want to build," said Sonata, tired.
"Easy, Sonata, we will not be out for long," said Sunset.
"So, after lunch are we going?" asked Aria.
"I do not want to go," said Adagio, annoyed.
"Me neither," said Sonata, tired.
"Okay, look, what do you think if we go out tomorrow?" asked Sunset. "Today we can finish what we still need to build, and tomorrow, we go out and explore a bit, ok?"
"Well, I think that sounds good," Sonata said, smiling a little.
"Yeah, I guess it's okay," said Adagio.
"Very well," said Sunset. "As soon as we finish eating, we will rest a little, and we will continue to build what we lack, ok?"
"Yes, good plan," said Aria, eating.
And so it was, after eating and resting, they continued with their constructions, but not like before, nothing big or complicated. They would only do the things that the house would need. Inside, it was wider than it looked on the outside, they built two bedrooms and a living room.
They made 6 skull lamps, very useful to illuminate the night. It needs 3 sticks, 1 skull, and 5 tree saps to make one. They also made 1 candelabra of skulls: a big ceiling lamp that illuminates the whole room, it is mostly for decoration, bones, sticks, and skulls are needed.
"It's time to sleep," said Sunset, stretching.
"Yes, I'm going to take a shower," Adagio said, taking some clothes.
"Do not use all the water, ok?" said Sunset.
"Yes ma'am~" said Adagio, going out of the shelter, to the shower that was in the tree.
Since they settled in that area, they could not continue bathing in the sea, so Sunset made a portable shower, something VERY necessary, with some of the things that they had brought from home: scissors, pliers, camping shovel, 1 black polyethylene, 4 brooches, 1 mesh bag of 25 kg, 1 Nylon braided at 8 mm, 1 tether, 1 polypropylene at 3 mm, 4 zinc stakes, 1 gravel sack 40 kg, 1 multipurpose cloth tape, and 2 branches or sticks
"Hi girls," said Sunset. "What are you doing?"
"I'm making a bone basket, it's good for storing extra bones. It will fit up to 86 bones, only need 21 sticks to build, that's what the guide said," Sonata explained.
"Interesting," said Sunset. "Are they for the bones of the cannibals you were cooking in the fire yesterday?" she asked Aria.
"What else?" Aria said, sarcastic. "But yes, I need them to make an armor of bones. 6 bones and 3 pieces of cloth to create a piece of armor," said Aria. "Also, with the bones I'm also making this spear for Sonata."
"It looks better than the previous one," said Sunset.
"Yes, I just need Sonata's weak spear, 3 bones, and 2 pieces of cloth. And with a molotov, it becomes an incendiary spear," said Aria.
"It's a good weapon, very useful," said Sunset. "By the way, Adagio is about to get out of the shower."
"Well, my turn," Sonata said, taking some clothes.
"Do you want to go next, Aria?" asked Sunset.
"Yes, sure," said Aria, as she finished the spear.
Sunset left, entered the room she shared with Adagio, and like Sonata, decided to create a basket, but it would store arrows, it would be very good to store extra arrows for Adagio. The night came, and after everyone went to take a shower, Sunset and the Dazzlings went to sleep after another day of work.

The next morning, the four girls prepared to leave with everything they would need: weapons, bombs, food, drinks, medicines, etc. This time, they would travel longer, maybe for two days.
"All right. Are you ready to go?" asked Sunset.
"Yes, let's go," said Aria.
They left the shelter, and closed the place, securing their things. Once done, they began to walk.

After much exploring, and fighting with some cannibals and some mutants, the four girls were coming out of another cave. The first to leave was Aria, in her exploration she had found a chainsaw.
"Oh yeah! That’s what I’m talking about," said Aria smiling.
"Calm down Aria," said Adagio. "Stop showing off your new weapon."
"At least she found a way to use it," said Sonata, carrying gas tanks.
"The interesting thing was that this cave was connected to the second cave we explored," said Sunset, writing in her diary.
"Do you think there are more caves connected?" Adagio asked.
"It's a possibility," said Sunset, closing the diary. "The bad thing was that we lost bombs when we faced that mutant."
"I was afraid of those babies," Sonata said, trembling.
"Yes, I did not see it coming," Aria said.
"They were disgusting," said Adagio.
Suddenly, Aria found a well with a rope. An entrance to another cave. "Let's go in here," she said.
"We already explored this cave, Aria," said Sunset. "It was the first one we entered."
"How do you know? We did not enter by rope the first time," Sonata asked.
"In the second cave that we explored, I found a part of the map of the island, luckily, I know exactly where we are," said Sunset. "This is another entrance to cave 1."
"Yes, but if what you said is true, it may be connected to another cave," said Aria.
"Or we could end up lost," Adagio said. "Or maybe end up in another part of the island, or in a cannibal camp."
"Your negativity sucks, did you know that?" Aria said, annoyed.
"Well, it's a big risk, Aria," said Sunset. Adagio smiled. "But, in any case, it's possible that it's connected to another cave, maybe we'll find useful things, or provisions."
"What?!" Adagio said, surprised.
"It is already decided! Let's go!" Aria said, starting to enter.
"Sorry, Dagi," said Sonata, following after Aria.
"Adagio, it will be quick, I promise," said Sunset.
"Yes, that's what you always say," said Adagio.
With some protests, they entered all inside the cave, an area that had not been explored yet. As they went along they found the usual things, some rags, boxes of soft drinks, candy bars, etc. To Aria's bad luck, there was nothing better, or so she thought when she found an object that she recognized, she hid it from her friends in her backpack, after going through the cave completely, they went elsewhere, through rocks, they ended up in another part of the peninsula.
"Well, that was a waste of time," Adagio said.
"At least I found another cassette," said Sonata, happy.
"Yes, I'm sorry Aria," said Sunset.
"I would not say that," Aria said, serious. "I found this."
She showed the object she had hidden, and her friends were surprised, especially Sunset.
"We have to go back," said Sunset, returning to the cave, but was stopped.
"We went through the whole cave, the only place where we could not go was in places with water, and he will not be there," said Aria, standing in front of her.
"So where is he?" said Sunset, upset.
"Sunset?" called Sonata, softly.
Sunset looked in her direction.
"You're not the only one who misses him," said Sonata, trembling.
Sunset looked at her friend for a moment, then took a deep breath, and lowered her head.
"I... I just want to find him" she said, her voice almost broken.
"We all want to" said Adagio, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Maybe he's in this area"
"This could have fallen off the plane, it does not mean he is here," said Aria, then looked at Sunset. "I'm sorry, but you have to be realistic."
"Yes, I know," said Sunset
"What do we do now?" asked Sonata.
"Well, it's still daylight, let's walk a little more, please," said Sunset.
Without protest, they followed Sunset. With the map and the compass, they went to the road near the river. They continued until they reached an elevation of land, and in the distance there was a small cannibal camp on the other side.
"We’re going in" said Sunset seriously, preparing her weapons, followed by her friends.

They crossed the river and went to the camp, there were not many cannibals and they didn't have many things either, it was another simple camp. Suddenly Sonata found a rare object in a cannibal hut... something she recognized.
“Girls? You better see this, ”said Sonata, taking the object.
Her friends went to her, and they saw what Sonata had: it was a tennis ball, red with yellow lines, it wasn't just any ball, it was from Onix!
"It's Onix's ball," said Sunset, surprised.
"How can you be so sure?" Aria asked.
"Look! It has my initials,” said Sunset, showing the recorded letters.
"Well, it's the same one as Onix's," Adagio said.
"That means Onix must be close," said Sunset, taking the ball.
"I don't want to bust your bubble, but that could have fallen from the plane, some bags flew out," said Aria.
"I know, I know," said Sunset. "But it means maybe, maybe, he was here."
"Maybe," said Aria. "Do you want to stay here and look?" she asked.
"Let's go explore the caves as we planned, maybe we'll find more clues," said Sunset.
"Let's get out of here," Adagio said, walking.

They advanced through the forest for a few more hours, not losing their way with the help of the map and the compass. They recognized some parts of the road, even in the distance they could see the beach that was near their house.
"Do we go back home?" Sonata asked.
"No, I just want to survey an area near here," said Sunset.
Suddenly, they found some cannibal effiges, like those they found in some caves, and interestingly, they found an entrance to a cave.
"Well, we should explore," Sunset said, putting away the map.
They entered and prepared the lantern and some torches, and instantly saw some corpses hanging on the ceiling, some cannibals, not many, only three, and a rope that faced the surface, but they would not need it now. Later, they found some unfortunate passengers from the plane, many were dead in their seats, and there were suitcases around. There wasn't much to see, just ropes and rags, and another thing they found, was a wooden wall, with some crucifixes. Aria took her ax and broke the wall.
They walked a little more, going deeper into the place and trying to find new things. Adagio found another flashlight and it seemed to be the only good thing about the place. Another wooden wall was in their way, and again, they broke through it. There were some human hearts on the floor, a very unpleasant sight to see.
After reviewing the new area, their only way was to go down a rope. One after another, they slid down the rope. They found another one, and they went down it as well, when they reached the ground. As they came to the new area, Sunset found a crucifix on the ground, and kept it, maybe it was nothing relevant, but she still wanted to keep it. They continued until they reached a small lake, and on its left, there was equipment for two diving teams.
"Well, how convenient," Adagio said.
"But there are only two sets, and we are four people," said Sonata.
"We can share them," Sunset said, putting away the map.
"It's the only option," said Aria, removing the diving equipment from the corpse.
Sunset and Aria equipped the diver's equipment, and entered the water, followed by Adagio and Sonata. While they were swimming, they shared the oxygen, they removed the hose from their mouths and shared it so as not to choke and run out of air. When they reached the other side. they came out of the water and found more oxygen tanks, in the distance they could see a strange wall made of metal, they advanced to it and looked at it.
"But what is this?" Aria asked.
"I don't know, but I don't think the cannibals did this," said Sunset.
"They look like the gates of hell," said Aria.
"How do we get in?" Adagio asked.
“Hey, girls! What is this for?” said Sonata.
In front of the door was a strange pressure mechanism.
"Maybe if we put something on it, the doors will open," Sunset suggested.
They laid some stones, and indeed, the doors opened, as soon as they entered, the doors closed.
"I think we can't go back where we came from," said Aria.
“We have to find another way out, no worries,” said Sunset.
On the other side, there were mummified corpses, praying to a crucifix with some bibles on the ground, and on the other hand, some field houses. They explored and found some useful things, and other important objects, inside a booth Sonata found another part of the map.
“Sunset! I found a part of the map,” said Sonata, handing it to her.
"Thanks Sonata," Sunset said, smiling.
Aria found a couple of magazines, they seemed important, Adagio found a bible. And Sunset found a sketch, picking it up, she examined it, a drawing of the mutant Virginia, and it seems to have been drawn with graphite pencil on plain paper. It probably belongs to the Christian missionaries, as it also seems to have been the Latin graphite paper in a similar role, in addition to the white tents and the bibles and crosses, they are commonly associated with the Christian missionaries, and right next to the drawing, there was a rustic ax! It wasn't as good as Aria's, but it would be very useful.
"Mine is better," said Aria, with her ax on her shoulder.
"Well, what do we do now?" Adagio asked.
"I'm hungry," said Sonata.
"Let's rest for a while, eat something, and then get out of here," Sunset said.
They sat on the floor and made a fire, pulled out some pieces of meat, a fish, and a can of lentils for Sunset. They cooked food, rested for a moment.
"And what will we do after leaving this cave?" Aria asked, eating her piece of meat.
"Well, we can find another new area to explore, or we can go home," said Sunset.
"I want to explore," Aria said, eating.
"First let's get out of this cave, okay?" Adagio said.
After eating something, and waiting a while before swimming, Aria and Sunset put on the diving equipment, and entered the water followed by Adagio and Sonata. They swam for a very long time before they reached a rope, came out of the water, and climbed the rope. When they reached the top, they set a fire to warm up, then returned to the water.
While they swam and shared the oxygen, they reached the end, going up to the outside. They ended up in a lake with several geese around, got out of the water, and walked a little more, noticed that the sun was setting in the distance.
"Soon it's going to get dark, we should go home," Adagio said.
"Yes, I think it's the best," said Sunset.
They continued until they reached a beach, but there were huge containers, curiously, they advanced to investigate them, but there was nothing important in them. They were all empty, they didn't have important things, but they had words written on them.
"Sahara?" Sunset said, confused.
“Hey! Look at this!” called Aria.
Aria was further away, and showed her friends the entrance to another cave.
"Here we go again," Adagio said, taking her flashlight.
Again, they entered the other cave, prepared torches and lanterns since the cave was very dark. They found some candy bars and bottles of alcohol on the ground. Aria found a briefcase with some papers and a VHS tape.
"Is that a cassette?" Sonata asked.
"No, it's a videotape, so we can't see what's on it," said Aria.
"Let me see it," Sunset asked. Aria handed her the tape. “The arrival of Megan,” she said, reading the writing on the label.
"It doesn't help much, I'm sorry Sunset," Adagio said.
"Let's move on," said Aria, taking her ax.
They continued on a little narrow road until they reached a wider place, on the right there was a rope, but they continued straight until they reached a small path of boards on the ground, and a rope, but just below, there were about three cannibals. Aria prepared some homemade bombs and threw them, it managed to kill two of the cannibals. The last cannibal was completely still, it seemed that he was asleep. They went down in silence, and Sunset took her katana and I finished it off.
They walked until they reached a wooden wall, Aria took her ax and broke it. Further on, a path little narrower than the previous one, they reached another rope, in a common grave, and just below, there was a huge mutant with many arms, and some strange small beings around.
"Great, now what?" said Aria.
"Let's attack from a distance," said Sunset, preparing a molotov. “Once it's burning in flames, we go down, and attack it together.”
"And what about those things?" Sonata asked.
"It seems they aren't that dangerous, but better help us with them," Sunset said. "Ready?"
Once prepared, they threw the molotov and the monster caught fire, Aria jumped down the rope, followed by Sunset, and attacked the mutant with their best weapons. While fighting with the mutant, Adagio and Sonata faced the strange little monsters, the fight only lasted a few minutes.
"That was a little difficult," said Sunset, tired.
"What are these things?" Sonata asked.
"They look like babies," Adagio said.
"Mutant babies?" said Aria. "Gross."
"Let's continue," Sunset said, lighting a fire.
When they illuminated the area, there were a lot of corpses, but they were not cannibals, they were normal people.
"I don't like this place," said Sonata.
"Me neither, let's take what we can and get out," said Sunset.
Besides bodies, there were not many things, almost nothing. Adagio found an ethical science magazine.
"Wait, I've seen that thing before," Sunset said looking at the magazine. “There was a drawing of that on the yacht.”
“'The obelisk of resurrection. Can this device return the dead?' What does that mean? ”Aria asked, reading.
"I don't know, but it seems important," said Sunset. "It will be better to keep it, just in case."
They examined the area further, and Sonata found a kind of card in the hand of a corpse on the ground.
“Sunset! I found something else,” said Sonata, showing the card.
"An access card?" Adagio asked.
"Why would you need that?" said Aria.
“It has the same writing as in the containers: Sahara,” said Sunset, examining the card. “It seems that this peninsula hides many secrets. You definitely have to save this.” Suddenly, she remembered something. "Wait a minute, Aria! Do you remember the yacht? Where was that strange door?"
"What are you talking about?" Adagio asked, confused.
"It's true! On the yacht we found an electronic door or something," Aria said, remembering. "It could only be opened with an advisory card."
"And what could that help us with?" Sonata asked.
"We'll know when we get out of here," Sunset said, saving the card.
Later, Sunset found a video camera.
"Okay, this gets more and more interesting," said Sunset.
She remembered that they had found a videotape at the beginning of the cave, took the tape from her backpack, and sat on a rock, her friends next to her.
"Ready?" Sunset asked. Her friends nodded; Sunset turned on the camera, and placed the tape.
The quality was not very good, but enough to see. In the video, the sound of the rotors of a helicopter was heard, indicating that a person traveled in one to the peninsula. The image showed a snowy mountain area, with a huge construction area. The image changed, and a girl with an oxygen respirator appeared, looking and pointing at the mountains. The little girl seemed excited to get to that place, and it was over.
"That's it," Sunset said, turning off the camera.
"Who is that girl?" Sonata asked.
"I don't know, but she seemed very sick," Adagio said.
"Wait... is there a snowy area in this place?!" said Aria, surprised.
"So it seems," said Sunset. “This cave has information about the peninsula, let's continue exploring.”
And so they did. They faced some cannibals, the occasional mutant, and those strange babies too. In some areas, used the diving equipment and continued a long way, until they reached a new area. On a rock, there were two heads of some beheaded men, a drawing of a scale, and in the mouth of one of the heads, there was another tape. Aria took it, and gave it to Sunset.
"We better get out of the cave, and go home," said Sunset.
"Yes, it must be at night outside," Adagio said.
They kept walking to find a way out, there were many papers around the place, they found a rope, and they climbed. They had to climb at least two more ropes to reach the surface,
"Let's go home," said Sunset.

Guided by the compass and the map, they reached their house, luckily, they did not run into any cannibals or mutants on their way, they entered, and secured everything.
"Can we see that tape?" said Aria.
"First let's eat something, then let's take a bath, and in the end we'll see the second tape," Adagio said.
“I like the idea, could you cook Sonata?” asked Sunset.
"Always!" Sonata said happily.
"I'll go take a bath," Adagio said.
"Ari, can you help me cook?" Sonata asked.
"As you wish," said Aria, heading to stand with Sonata.
While they were going to do that, Sunset entered the shelter, and left all the things they had found. Later, after a relaxing bath, everyone was eating inside the shelter, by the fireplace, when they finished, Sunset brought the camera.
"Very well, the second tape says: Lunch with Megan," reading the label on the tape.
"The same girl we saw before?" Sonata asked.
"Yes, that girl seems to be important," said Sunset, placing the tape.
When he turned on the camera, this tape showed a cafeteria, and there were some men around, some did not want to be filmed by the camera. And there were two men next to the little girl. She was in a wheelchair, but she smiled and greeted the person who recorded her. And the tape finished.
"That's it, again," said Sunset, turning off the camera.
“But, was that filmed on this peninsula? And where is that construction?” asked Adagio.
"It's most likely in that snowy area, and it must be far away for us," said Sunset.
"We should go, I mean, you want to know more about this peninsula, or whatever," said Aria.
"Yes, it's true," said Sunset. “But there are other more important things, we must find Onix, and get out of this place."
"That's true," said Sonata.
"As you wish, I will go to sleep," Aria said, getting up, and walking to her room, followed by Sonata.
Adagio and Sunset did the same, before turning off the lights, Sunset looked at the camera for the last time, before leaving it, each went to sleep, after the long day they had.

After that long day of exploring, the girls are coming back home.
They found very interesting things, like those VHS tapes, and also another track about Onix!

The next morning, the first one to wake up was Sunset, who carefully got out of bed without waking her girlfriend. She took some clothes, but before leaving, she saw the empty box of ferret food and remembered her friend. She averted her eyes, ignoring the feeling. She left the room, and went to the shower. After a bath, she went to take a can of peaches, sat on the bench, wrote in her diary and looked at the map.
"Let's see... where we will go this time," said Sunset, eating.
While checking her map, Aria left the house and, on seeing Sunset, approached.
"What are you doing?" Aria asked, looking for something for breakfast.
"Good morning Aria, I'm looking for what area we'll explore next," said Sunset, looking at the map.
"Great," said Aria, sitting next to her.
"Sonata and Adagio have not woken up?" Sunset asked.
"No," said Aria, now with a can of fruit, and starting to eat.
"Well, taking advantage of this moment, could you help me?" Sunset asked.
"With what?" Aria asked, confused.
"I need your help to go to the yacht, I want to know if this card will work," said Sunset, with the card in hand.
"And how will we get there? There are more sharks than before," said Aria.
"No problem, I built something that would help us navigate there," said Sunset, standing up.
"If you say so, let's go then," said Aria, following her.
They left the shelter, went to the beach, reached the main rock, and Aria saw the strange construction.
"What is it?" asked Aria, curious.
"It's a small raft; it will allow us to travel through water to different places safely and out of the reach of cannibals," Sunset explained.
"How did you do it?" Aria asked, looking at the details.
"I only need 4 sticks, 4 ropes, and 7 logs," said Sunset. "Are we going?"
"Okay, lead the way," said Aria.
They boarded the raft and entered the sea. Although it was easier than diving, they were still not completely safe. They reached the yacht and entered, Sunset took the card and tried it, but it didn't work.
"I don't understand, it seemed so obvious," said Sunset, very confused.
"Maybe it has another utility, like that place on the tapes, don't be discouraged," said Aria.
"Yes, maybe," said Sunset, calming down. "Wow Aria, you never talked to me like that before," said Sunset.
"Well, since we met we treated you like crap, but I try to improve as a person," said Aria.
"Glad to hear that," Sunset said happily.
"And because I promised Sonata. And because Adagio will kill me too if she sees you sad because of me," Aria said.
"I accept that, let's go back to the girls," Sunset said, smiling.
They left the yacht, and sailed to the beach again, arrived at the shelter and there were Adagio and Sonata having breakfast.
"Where did you go?" Sonata asked.
"We went to see if the card worked on the yacht, but it didn't," said Sunset.
"So then what will we do today?" Adagio asked.
"Well, I found a new area on the map to explore," Sunset replied.
“Are you sure we should be going out again? We just got back, ”said Adagio.
"We'll be fine, we know how to fight them," said Sunset.
"Only against the cannibals, what happens when those monsters stalk us during the day?" Adagio said.
"I doubt it a lot, we haven't seen any during the day," said Aria.
"Just because we have not seen them, does not mean they are not around," said Adagio, annoyed.
"I know that! Do you think I'm stupid? ”Aria asked annoyed.
"Do I have to answer?" Adagio said, waving her hair.
"What?!" Aria shouted angrily.
"Okay, calm down, we better get ready," said Sunset nervously. “Aria, could you help
"Sure," she said, walking alongside Sonata.
"And Adagio, you could calm down a bit," said Sunset. “If there will be problems, we will solve them, as always”
"Fine, but I warned you," Adagio said.
"Come on, help me prepare stuff," Sunset said, walking to the shelter.
Later, after breakfast and a shower, they prepared everything they needed to explore: food, weapons, medicine, water, and the necessary equipment, then left the shelter and began to walk.

Their walk took them back to the containers of last time, but that area was already checked, they walked a little more, and arrived at a cannibal camp. Luckily, there were not so many cannibals, they found a tent, canvas, the entrance of a cave with a rope to go down, and, in the distance, they could see the snowy mountains.
"We should go there," said Aria.
"We will do it but not today, we don't have the necessary equipment," said Sunset. "Let's see what we will find in this cave."
One by one, they went down the rope, there was another one, once inside, they found a third rope to go down, and at the bottom of which was a very deep lake, they went down again. Aria and Sunset equipped the scuba equipment, and entered, sharing the oxygen with Adagio and Sonata.
They found a strange machine - a kind of ROV, a device used by the divers - with a flashlight pointing to an area, followed it and rose to the surface. They reached another rope, but at the bottom there were some mutant babies, they threw some dynamites, it wasn't a big problem.
"And now what?" Adagio said.
"Well, there is no way forward, let's go back and look for more places," said Sunset.

Later, after leaving that cave, they walked more, until they reached the cabin of the plane. They crossed the great river, and found another canvas tent, and another entrance to another cave.
“Interesting, it's very similar to the previous entry,” said Sunset, updating the map.
"What does it matter, let's get in," said Aria, lowering the rope.
"Aria is not very interested in history," Adagio told Sunset.
"Yes, I know, let's go," said Sunset, saving the map.
They lowered the long rope, once on the ground, found a cannibal and a couple of babies, and beat them all together, and then walked a little, but a long fall prevented them from moving forward.
"What do we do? There is no rope here,” said Sonata.
"There must be a way," said Sunset.
Adagio noticed that the wall on her side was different. "Maybe we could if we had something to climb," she said.
“Yes, but the bad thing is that we don't have any of that. I guess we could go down little by little,” said Sunset.
"You are crazy?! You will kill yourself!” Adagio said.
"I'll be fine, I won't throw myself straight in, I'll tie a rope around my waist, while you three lower me," said Sunset.
"Sounds good to me," said Aria, pulling a rope from her backpack.
Once prepared, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata, held the rope, while Sunset managed to tie the rope to her waist.
"Be careful," Adagio said.
"I will, thank you," she said, starting down.
Slowly, and with caution, Sunset reached the ground safely.
"Sonata, you're next," said Aria.
And so it was, this time it was more difficult for Adagio and Aria.
“You have to stop eating so many tacos, Sonata!” said Aria.
“You are the same with Chinese food!” said Sonata, annoyed.
Once on the ground, Adagio was next, since Aria was stronger of the two. Only Aria was left, and she had to go down little by little, without anyone's help, it was somewhat complicated by the rocks, but her friends took care of her.
"Perfect, let's go on," said Sunset.
After jumping some puddles of water, they continued straight until they reached about four cannibals, took their weapons and defeated them, with a little difficulty this time.
"Normally it doesn't take long," said Aria, tired.
"We are in their territory, it is easy for them to move around here," said Sunset.
They continued, and ran into another new area, on the roof there were some pretty lights, and another fall, but this one was a little longer. Down there were about three cannibals, and they heard sounds of mutant babies. They threw some molotovs, to burn and kill the cannibals, and the mutant babies.
"Now we can go down," said Aria.
"It's very dangerous around here," Adagio said.
"Girls, I think I found a way down," said Sonata.
They climbed some rocks and found a waterfall with a safe path to go down, they didn't find many things, until Sonata found another one of those ROV lights, pointing to the wall with a climbing ax and also found another one on the ground.
"Look what I found!" Sonata said.
“A climbing ax? How convenient,” said Sunset.
"Yes, who wants the other one?" Sonata asked.
"Me," said Aria.
"Forget this! You and Sunset have the scuba equipment,” said Adagio, annoyed.
"Aria, she's right, this time it is fair for Adagio and Sonata to have them," said Sunset.
"Well, whatever," said Aria, a little annoyed.
“Forget your super weapon? The chainsaw? ”Adagio said, taking the other climbing ax.
"I didn't bring it, it would make a lot of noise, I don't care, are we leaving?" Said Aria.
"Wait, I want to check a little more," said Sunset, walking a little.
In that same place, there was a deep fall on the way. On the edge of the walls, Sunset found a path, cut it carefully and found a small descent, where there was another ROV, pointing with the light, and what illuminated was what appeared to be another VHS tape.
“Sunset, come back! This is very dangerous,” said Adagio.
"Okay, but first, lend me your ax for a moment," said Sunset.
With Adagio's climbing ax, Sunset went down to the ROV, and took the tape.
"Opening of the Artifact," said Sunset, reading the edge of the tape. She returned to her friends and showed them the tape.
"Watch it now?" Aria asked.
"Better get out of this cave," said Sunset.

When they left, they ended up in the same place as before.
"I told you they were connected," Sunset said, coming out of the hole.
"Well, I don't recognize it," said Aria. "Now will you show us your tape?"
They sat on a stone, while Sunset took the video camera out of her backpack, placed the tape and turned it on. Like the others, the quality was poor, in the video there were some men taking notes and controlling some devices, and another of them, held a small child by the hand. All were surrounded by a huge device, connected to other machines, some doors opened of the object, and inside there seemed to be different points or nails of iron, with a place with the sufficient size of a person. And that was all.
"I didn't understand anything," said Aria.
"Me either," said Sonata.
"I feel like I've seen this before, but I don't remember where," said Sunset.
"Isn't it that thing in that magazine that Aria found?" Adagio said.
“Are you talking about that ethical scientist?” asked Sunset.
"Yes, something about reviving the dead or something," Adagio replied.
"Well, the only thing that is clear is that all this must be for that girl named Megan," said Sunset.
"What do we do now?" Aria asked.
"Well, we can explore a little more," said Sunset.
"Are you sure? I know it's not night yet, but they are more and more cannibals, and also those monsters,” said Sonata
"I know, but don't worry, we'll be fine," Sunset said, smiling.
They walked until they reached the cannibal camp they saw before, around there were some tents, they could also see a part of the beach, and behind the camp, they found another rope, with another entrance to a cave.
"We're going in here, right?" Adagio said seriously.
"Yes," Aria and Sunset replied.
"I saw that coming," Adagio said, without emotion.
They went down the rope, prepared some torches and began to explore, down another rope, until they reached an abandoned tent camp, checked if there were any supplies, but there were only some medicines and candy bars.
Sunset had found a sketch, it seemed to be an elegant and modern drawing of that strange device they saw on the VHS tape, with some numbers and a formula on the bar that measures the top tip of the object.
"This object again," said Sunset, looking at the paper. "Obelisk of the resurrection," she read.
"Sunset?" Sonata called.
"What's up?" she asked.
“I'm hungry, can we rest?” said Sonata, tired.
"It's a good idea," Adagio said. "Let's eat something"
They lit a fire, and prepared their food: lizard meat for Aria, fish for Sonata, rabbit meat for Adagio, and a can of mushroom soup for Sunset.
"The only bad thing about this peninsula is not knowing the weather," said Adagio.
"Yes, our phones stopped working after the crash," said Aria.
"And the worst part is that we lost Onix," Sonata said sadly.
"He's fine, I know it, and we'll find him," said Sunset.
"Speaking of which, how long have we been on this island?" Adagio asked.
"Peninsula. I think we've been here for two weeks, or maybe three,” said Sunset.
"How can you be so sure?" Aria asked.
"I'm not, I'm really not sure," said Sunset. "I have other things on my mind."
"Like the history of this place?" Sonata asked.
"Yes, I have many questions," said Sunset. “What is the Sahara? How does that strange device work? And who is Megan? ”
"You shouldn't get too obsessed with the history of this place, Sunsy," Adagio said. "Do you remember what happened in the asylum?"
"Yes, you better forget it," said Aria, finishing her meal.
"I know, but it's inevitable, there are many of these things in the caves," Sunset said.
"I want to get out of here, and go home," said Sonata.
"We will do it Sonata, but first we will find Onix, then we will leave," said Sunset.
"Before that, let's explore this cave," said Aria.
After eating and waiting for a while, Sunset and Aria prepared the scuba equipment, and entered a deep lake. Inside the water, they found a corpse tied to a rock, it looked like suicide, they continued on their way, until they found their way to the surface, they reached another camp with few supplies.
They found a rope that went down, but could not get a good look as there was very little light, very safe, they went down the rope, they were a little scared when they saw the body of a hung climber, but when they arrived, they found a small puddle of water, with a broken wooden boat, with an oil lantern on it. Parts of bodies on the floor, and lifeguards adorning the walls, and some ropes on the floor, there were also boxes around, and a sleeping cannibal, Sunset slowly approached from behind, knocking down the native, opened some boxes, some had dynamites and other flares.
"How strange, there was only one cannibal here," said Sunset
"What are you talking about?" Aria asked.
"I mean, there are usually many in areas like that, or some mutant," Adagio said.
Suddenly, they heard the sound of footsteps, some very loud.
"What was that?" Sonata said.
"Could it be a Virginia?" Adagio asked, preparing her bow.
"Or maybe an Armsy," said Aria, with her ax in hand.
"Armsy?" Sunset said confused.
"You know, that monster with many arms," said Aria.
"Good name," said Sonata.
The steps became stronger, as if something very big were running, they used the flashlights to see, but it was too late. A huge monster ran towards them, only Adagio and Sonata luckily they managed to dodge it, but Sunset and Aria were not so lucky.
They quickly got up, and tried to attack the mutant, but it knocked them down very easily. Adagio tried to attack with all kinds of arrows, but it didn't work, it was very fast for its large size. Sonata wanted to throw her spear, but by accident, she dropped some flares, the monster was now heading towards her.
"AAAHH!" Sonata shouted, throwing the burning sparkler.
At that moment, the mutant caught fire, that gave them an opportunity to attack, they continued like this until he died burning.
"Are you girls all right?" Adagio asked.
"Yes, a little sore," said Sunset, rising.
"What the hell was that?" said Aria.
"A mutant we've never seen before," said Sunset. “Good plan Sonata”
"Thank you, but I got scared, again," Sonata said.
"Sonata it's fine, me too," Adagio said, stroking her head.
They finished investigating, and found two unusual things, a bucket of red paint, and a note, the words were in a Latin language. But just above, there were large, red letters, saying: "Don't be afraid / Just believe."
"And now what is this?" said Aria, looking at Sunset.
"Actually, I just want to go to rest," said Sunset. "Let's go back."
Without saying more, they left the cave.

Unfortunately, it was already night and they had to face many cannibals, and some mutants, they had run out of arrows and homemade bombs, but they kept coming more and more. Fortunately, they managed to reach their refuge, once inside, they locked themselves up and activated the traps, thus evading the mutants.
"Damn monsters!" said Aria, tired.
"I thought we wouldn't get out of it," said Sunset, exhausted.
"I told you!" Adagio said, tired and angry. “This is the last time we explored!” And with that, she went outside to take a shower.
"I think she's angry," said Sunset.
"She's not the only one," said Sonata, leaving the place.
"I think it will be difficult to explore now without them," said Aria.
"This is not right Aria, we need them to explore, and you know it," said Sunset. “It will be better if we don't go exploring”
"And hunting?" Aria asked.
"That would be the only thing we will do," said Sunset.
"Oh, come on! You don't want to know more about this island? ”Said Aria, crossed her arms.
“I care more about having my head on my body. and that Adagio is safe, ”said Sunset.
"You don't want to find Onix?" Aria asked.
"Yes, I want to, but it's dangerous to go out now," said Sunset.
"Then you have to convince them again," said Aria.
"That will take a while, I don't think they want to go out after this," said Sunset.
“They will come out, they will have to do it,” said Aria. "For now, I think it will be just you and me," she said placing her arm on the girl's shoulder.
"That seems... I mean, what could it go wrong?" Sunset said nervously.
After their last exploration, Adagio and Sonata did not want to explore again, despite the efforts of Aria and Sunset to convince them, so they decided to go out alone for a few days, since their girlfriends were VERY angry. It was a long trip, tiring and full of problems, but they managed to reach their destination, the snowy area.
They built a log cabin made of 82 logs, 2 water stores, 2 meat shops, 1 stick store, 1 fireplace, 1 sofa, 1 small table, plus a few skull lamps to illuminate. That was enough for both of them. Aria had decorated the walls with deer and rabbit skins, that made the place warmer and would protect them better from the cold. She also put up animal heads, like squirrel, rabbit, lizard, seagull, turtle, raccoon, wild boar, duck, deer, crocodile, and shark. And on the outside, she put the heads of an Armsy, Virginia, Cowman, and mutant baby, to scare any enemies.

They were about to return, but Adagio saw something strange in a lake puddle, looked like a trap, or metal cage.
"What's that?" Aria asked.
"I don't know, maybe a cannibal trap," said Adagio.
"Wait... it's Onix's cage!" Sonata said happily.
"Sonata, you are also going to-"
"No, it's really his, Aria," said Sonata, removing a paper from the cage, it was a picture of them four. "See, here we are, I put it for Onix."

Sunset was cleaning the shelter, until she heard her friends enter.
"Wow, they hunted many animals," Sunset said, helping them. “This will last us all next month.”
"Sunset?" Adagio called.
"Yes?" She said.
The three girls showed Onix's destroyed cage.
"Girls... that's..."
"There was only this, there was no sign of him," said Aria.
"It seems that the cage saved him from the accident," Adagio said.
"It means that he is well, lost, but well," said Sonata, optimistic.
Sunset remained silent, holding the cage in his hands, staring at the object.

She was just sitting looking at the forest, in her hand she was holding the ball they found in that cannibal camp, with which Onix played with her. Honestly, she had been losing hope of finding him, a little ferret like him could not survive so long, especially alone, but now that her friends found Onix's cage, she didn't know what to think now.
"Where are you buddy?" she asked in a nostalgic whisper.
Wiped some tears, under the tree, entered the shelter and went to bed.
After their last exploration, the girls stayed in their camp for the next few days. Each doing what she used to do: Sonata was preparing breakfast at the campfire, Adagio was practicing with her bow, Aria was watching for danger from a tree - she was also doing something with a stick, but they did not know exactly what, and Sunset was updating the map.
"There are still some areas of the map that are not yet explored," whispered Sunset.

"Are you sure? If this is a shrine of cannibals, I do not think this is a good idea," said Adagio.
"I know, but I really want to investigate this site a bit, it has information about the red man," said Sunset.

"The food is ready!" Sonata said.
The four girls sat down to enjoy their food and a well-deserved rest. But Sunset was still thinking about that note, it was obvious that it had a connection to the red man.

"Before we watch it, can we get out of here?" Adagio asked. "We already have many supplies to carry."
"Yes, there are also many mutants here, and we do not have any weapons left," Aria said.
"Yeah, let's find an alternative way out," said Sunset.
But it was not so easy, for the first time, it was hard to find a way out. In the end they ended up in a lake with mutant babies and two Virginia monsters. They evaded and entered the water, and ended up in another closed place. There was a tent with boxes and many supplies. Adagio found something very interesting, a recurve bow!
"It was my turn to find something interesting," Adagio said, admiring her new bow.

Sonata went to fill the canteens just above the waterfall, but while she was doing it, she discovered something.
"Hey girls!" called Sonata. "You have to see this!"
Adagio and Aria went with Sonata, also at that moment, Sunset heard a noise in the distance. It did not seem like a cannibalistic scream or a mutant growl. She thought it was nothing and went to follow her friends, but... She recognized that noise! She ran off in that direction.
"Sunset! Where are you going? "Adagio called, confused.
"And now that... Oh shit," said Aria, seeing what Sonata discovered.
"What's wrong?" Adagio asked, more confused.
"We have to help her! Come on! "Aria said, running.
"And now that?! Why?" Adagio said, beginning to get angry.
"It would be better if you see it," Sonata said, helping her up.
When Adagio saw what Sonata had discovered, she understood. Without saying more, she ran away, her surprised friend ran after her. While Sunset kept running trying to find that strange sound, which somehow seemed familiar. For a moment she thought... But no, that could not be... Or could it?
"Onix... no..." whispered Sunset.
At that moment, her friends arrived, and they could not avoid seeing the scene.
"Sunset, I..." Adagio said, approaching.
But a cannibalistic cry prevented her from continuing. Some cannibals invaded them, and not only that but also an Armsy mutant. They quickly took their weapons, the cannibals faced the Dazzlings, and the mutant attacked only Sunset. Her friends tried to intervene, but the cannibals got in their way. Sunset attacked it with her katana, and she managed to hit most of the time, but her luck ran out. The mutant threw a strong blow at the girl, throwing her katana away, and losing balance, she fell from the edge of the hole but managed to hold on to a rock, most of her body was out.
"SUNSET!" the others shouted.
Adagio took out the flare gun, and shot some cannibals in the head, running to her girlfriend, but the Armsy approached her first, the second blow was on the way, it would be the end of Sunset.
"NOOO!" Adagio shouted, running.
But a growl of pain came from the mutant, moving desperate and uncontrolled. When it turned, they saw what had provoked that reaction... It was Onix!
"Hold on to Sunset!" Aria said, preparing a rope.
"What about the mutant?" Sonata asked.
"It's mine..." Adagio said, her voice cold and dark.
She set three arrows o, fire, and without hesitation, loosed them all to the body of the monster. Then she loosed with three more of poison, and then another round with her modern arrows.
"If you're done with that, how about you help me save your girlfriend?" said Aria, emerging from shock.
Adagio returned immediately, and looked out to see her girlfriend, her appearance looked like a serial killer, but her face had only worry and fear.
"Sunset! We'll throw We rope!" Said Aria.
"I can't take it! I have Onix in the other arm!" Said Sunset, struggling to climb.
"We made a knot! You will put your foot in the knot and we will pull you up!" Sonata shouted.
Adagio tied the rope to a tree, threw the other end toward her friend. Sunset placed her foot first and released her hand from the rock to hold on to the rope. Between the three began to pull the rope, little by little Sunset began to climb with her friend. Upon reaching shore, Sunset lay down tiredly on the floor and the little animal jumped up at her.
"Onyx! I missed you friend" said Sunset, hugging the little one, in tears.
She was not the only one. Sonata did too and she hugged her friend and the animal. Adagio hugged Sunset, happy not only for being alive, but for the return of the little ferret. Even Aria smiled and hugged her friends. They got up and looked at the hole.
"How come we did not see this before?" said Aria.
"I think I've seen this before," said Sunset, showing a paper. "I found this document in the first cave we saw. As I understand it, the priests tried to use their crosses on the mutants, as well as the traps, without success," she explained.
"There is another small hole too, it's a new cave," said Aria.

"The only place we have not explored is that giant crater, maybe it has a connection," said Aria.

Once ready, the four girls went to the giant hole. On the way they met some cannibals, Aria takes the skin of one of them and makes a frightful armor. Sunset and the others keep their stealth, lizard, and bone armor. Since it was very dangerous to go down the canyon, they looked for another route, fortunately, one of the caves connected with the hole. They entered that cave the last time, they called it cave 7. They entered, and luckily, there were not many dangers. After a long walk, they came to a set of stone doors. "This will be useful" said Sunset, looking at her new weapon.

They prepare their positions, Sonata used her spring to get the attention of some cannibals, while Adagio pointed her arrows at their heads. "Come on, get ready" said Sunset, preparing her katana.
The rest followed her, as soon as they entered, the door closed, they advanced without fear, the site was very modern with a lot of technology; They could see a bag of tools, with a drill next to some metal plates and screws. And a rope that led up.

They entered a small room with gas tanks, crucifixes, and papers.

They found some bottles of water, bottles of alcohol, medicines, and some prepared foods, with the money they found, they used it to get drinks and food out of the dispensing machines; The doors were blocked, but a hole in the ceiling allowed them to continue carefully up the pipes and through another long narrow corridor, until they reached where they feared, a hospital room, with many beds... for children.
"Your theory was correct, if there are children here" said Aria.

They went out the door, found rooms with broken glass, and mutant babies dead on the floor.

They went to see the rest of the rooms, they all said the same thing: Observatory Room. And a different letter for each room; Suddenly they heard sounds of an Armsy.
"It's mine" said Aria, preparing a bomb.
"Once he's helpless, we'll finish him off" said Sunset, preparing her weapon.
Aria used a sticky bomb, flung it at the Armsy, as soon as it caught fire, they came out and attacked the mutant, and soon he died; they followed the corridor, through more observatory rooms, until...
"Aaahhhh!!" Sonata shouted, scared.
"Sonata! What's up?" said Sunset.
Sonata showed one of the rooms, a mutant, this one was different from the others. It was huge, it covered the entire room, it had eyes and arms coming out of it, it was a huge mass of flesh.
"What is this...?" Sonata said.
"They made the mutants here" said Aria.
"But with what?" asked Adagio.
"Girls, the road is blocked, but there's an entrance from the roof, come on" said Sunset.
They moved away from that thing, went up and down the hall, found some drawings of flowers that said: By Megan Cross

Her final destination was a room, the chairs in disarray and books and a slide screen, both showing the logo of a company.

On the big monitor they saw different slides of mutants and cannibals, with features.
“Medicine of longevity? What is that?" Aria asked.
Then the image of a mutant virginia appeared; Subject 37-B age...
"12 years?!" Sunset said surprised.
"Subject 86-6c age, 6 years," Aria said.
"Oh no ... it has to be a joke." Adagio said in shock.
"Than? What's up?”Sonata said confused.
"It can't be true, I don't think so." Sunset said.
"Well believe it, the mutants ... are children." Aria said.
"Do they experiment with children?!" Adagio said disgusted.
"So... we have... all this time we have been..." said Sunset
"Killing children." Sonata ended sadly.
"I think I'm going to throw up." Sunset said, disgusted.
"Calm, it's fine, well, it's not." Aria said. “But those things, they are no longer children, they stopped being so long ago.”
“How can you take this so lightly?! We've been killing children! ”Adagio said angrily.
"I guess I get used to seeing horrors, from the asylum." Aria said remembering.
"That's something we can't erase, Aria is right, they aren't anymore." Sunset said. “We have to focus on getting out of this place.”
"On the way out?" Sonata asked worried.

They left the place, hoping and wishing not to go back in there again. They continued until they reached some offices. They saw some cannibals, but as Sunset was in front, they jumped in front of her and praying. "It looks like the machine that appears in that ethical magazine." Sonata said.

"Well, the magazine said that the machine could revive the dead. Maybe that was what they wanted to do." said Aria.
"And they used children as test subjects." Sunset said annoyed.
"Damn sick." Adagio said disgusted.
They approached the machine and it opened, they couldn't believe there was a dead child inside.
"Oh ... shit." said Aria.
Sunset approached carefully. He was dead. She took out the skewers and carried him in arms to a bed that was in front of the place. Her friends let her pass and approached, when she laid him down. Sonata took a robot toy out of her things, her friends looked at her confused.
"I found him in all the caves, I didn't think they would work, but I wanted to gather them anyway.
"Maybe it belonged to him" Sonata said, placing it in the boy's arms.
"Is he... the same boy you saw?" Adagio asked Sunset.
"Yes, it is, if I had reacted on time I-"
"Don't blame yourself, it wasn't your fault, it was that red's fault." Aria said.
Sunset saw some connection hoses on the bed, saw the monitor, and placed one of them on his arm, the monitor showed a connected part, did the same with the rest until the device opened again.
"Wait! I know what you want to do and it's crazy! You don't know if that thing works.” Aria said.
"Here in the machine he says how to do it, he puts the dead person in this bed, they are placed in these tubes, and a live experimentation subject is introduced, so says the monitor." Sunset explained.
"And who will you put?" Adagio asked.
"To one of us?" Sonata said scared.

“After we entered the underwater cave of the hole, I found this tape next to some bones. I was going to tell you, but mutants were attacking us and I think I forgot it.” said Aria.
"Okay, it doesn't matter let's go see it." Sunset pulled out her camera.
They got together and saw the tape, poor quality, but it started with a roar of mutant. Alot of men tried to contain an Armsy, but they did not succeed and it escaped attacking everyone. They even saw Megan, the camera fell to the ground. They saw the wheelchair moving, a silence, another roar of Armsy, and with that the recording finished.
"That thoroughly explains what happened to the place, I think." Aria said.
"Yes, well, this doesn't help with the machine." Adagio said.
"Maybe if we explore the place further we will have more answers." Sunset said.
They left by the nearest door, and saw bloodstrokes, but these were small.
"Are those child's?" Sonata asked.
"Megan?" Adagio said.
"Possibly, let's follow them." Sunset moved forward.
And so they did, dodging cannibals, they went down some stairs. They came to a huge room, and in the center there was someone playing, it was a girl.
"Oh fuck..." Aria said.
They kept coming until they recognized the girl. It was Megan Cross. Sunset came closer and could see her better, her skin was pale and white, her feet and hands had blood. She turned around to see them. Her mouth was dirty with blood. This gave a chill on each of the girls' back. She continued playing with her plane, knocking it down, then she pointed at Sunset, froze, screamed, and collapsed on the floor convulsing. From her mouth came a tentacle of three fingers. These eere like three large and three short. Girls backed away and saw the mutant in a form of a spider. It was coming towards them.
"Damn!" Aria screamed.
They drew their best weapons and prepared for the fight. First Aria attacked her with sticky bombs then Sonata with the flare gun, Adagio with fire arrows with poison and Sunset with Molotov cocktails. But it didn't seem useful, they didn't do anything to her.
"She doesn't die!!" Adagio said attacking with the gun.
“You have to burn it! Then attack her together! ” Sunset said fighting with her katana.
So it was for almost an hour, only the molotov and the arrows burned it for long moments of time. Sunset approached with the sword and began to attack it with rapid movements. The creature pushed it with it's tentacles. Adagio was helping her, while Aria and Sonata, gave her the final blow.
"Shit! This girl was very tough. ” Aria said tired.
"What do we do with her?" Sonata asked.
"Well, you have to take her with the child, to revive him." Sunset said in pain and carrying Megan.
"Sunset, I don't think it will works. She's already dead." Adagio said. "It's not logical to revive one dead with another dead."
"I know, but I have to try." Sunset said. "Come on."
Then they returned again to the main room, put Megan in the machine, but it didn't work. Her body dropped by releasing an advisory card.
"I told you." Adagio said. "A living subject is required, there the machine says so."
"Yes, I know." said Sunset. "And what is this for?" she asked.
"I don't know, but there's nothing we can do." Sonata said.
"She's right, you don't have to feel obligated to do anything." Aria said.
"I know, but, let's see one last thing, let's inspect the place, there probably is a clue." Sunset said.
But they found some supplies, medicine, food bars, money and coins. Until Sonata found the red guy "sleeping".
"Girls?" she whispered out loud.
They approached and saw the guy. He was dead, with some crayons on his face and eyes. Besides him there were sketchbooks, crucifixes and papers.
"Who did it? A mutant?” Sonata asked.
"I don't think so, they are crayons that only children use, it means it was-"
"Yes, Aria, Megan has done it. He used the poor child to "revive" her daughter, but I guess she didn't go as he expected. And I don't know why she ended up killing him." Sunset said.
"There is another tape." Adagio said.
"Where?" Sunset asked.
"There, on the desk." Adagio said taking the tape.
"What does it say?" her girlfriend asked.
'Second artificial test' read the tape.
"Let's see it." Aria said.
Sunset took the tape and put it into the camera. They saw a group of scientists in a room with a huge glass, and a giant blue sphere it was very bright. Everything shook and then heard what seemed to be a laser shot which made everyone cover up. Then the recording finished.
"Okay... that was interesting." Sunset said confused. "Maybe this acess card will help us."
“Wow! Curiously there is a door here called the same as the tape.” Sonata said innocently.
"Good guess Sonata, show us that door." Adagio said.
They left the room and there was next to the door that said ‘Second artificial test’. Sunset placed the card, opening the door. They walked a long corridor until they reached an excavation of rocks, a cave in other words. They had to continue because the main door were blocked. They got a little lost, but they came back to a modern room, passed the corridor with severed heads and stopped before what appeared to be an elevator.
"Don't tell me we need another card because I swear I'm going to break everything in this place." Aria said annoyed.
"I'll try with Megan's card." Sunset said.
“If we were not in a place of experiments and sick people, this would be very beautiful to contemplate,” Adagio said.
"It is, it must be the top of the Sahara company. How haven't we saw this before?" Sunset asked.
"Well, we are on the other side of the island, and the snowy area is hard to see from there." Aria said.
They arrived at the last room, the same one on the tape to be exact it was a kind of a control command post. There was that gigantic stone, but not as on the tape it was turned off. They approached the desk where there were digital control screens showing a plane with coordinates. Specifically that there were three identified subjects, three children, three test candidates, and below all, a button that said "ACTIVATE?".
"Oh shit... now I understand everything!" Sonata said.
"Really?" Aria said surprised.
“This machine knocks down planes! That red man shot down our plane, kidnapped the boy to revive Megan, but she came out as a mutant and killed him. And we are about to do the same!" Sonta said scared.
"Sonata that's-"
"True." Sunset said. "You're absolutely right, you've discovered the mystery of the peninsula!"
“Wow! You mean that if you activate this machine, that thing will turn on like the video and take down the plane seen on the radar?”
"Yes... that will happen." Sunset replied.
"And with that not only it will kill another child to revive him, but also to condemn the other innocent passengers to death." Aria said.
"Yes, that too ... but-"
“No Susnet Shimmer! Don't feel obligated to help that child, it was never your fault that he
"It is! If I had reacted on time I he wouldn't have been taken and killed! ”Susnet said annoyed.
"But you're going to kill not only the passengers on the plane, but three innocent children." Aria said.
“They are right, you should not feel obligated, it is not your obligation, you know it.” Adagio said.
"Sunset ... please ... Don't do it, you don't have to do it.” Sonata begged.
Sunset looked at her friends, their faces showed sadness, anger, and despair. She looked at the screen and the button again raising her hand in doubt.

“Sunset... please... Don't do it, you don't have to do it.” Sonata begged.
Sunset looked at her friends, their faces showed sadness, anger, and despair. She looked at the screen and the button again and raised her hand in doubt. She had the opportunity to save not only that child, but her and her friends, but was it worth it? Kill a whole crew of innocent people, for a life? She brought her hand to the screen, but got interrupted by Onix, who jumped out from her backpack and walked away to a shore.
"Onyx? What's up, friend?” Sunset said following her pet.
Onix went to smell some glasses of coffee that were open, and licked the contents. Sunset took it and prevented him from doing so. There were also boxes, tools, folders, and a monitor with keyboard, which had an “EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN” ARE YOU SURE? Y / N ” displayed on it.
"And what is that now?" Aria asked.
Sunset knew it and answered the question by typing the ‘And’ key. A high-pitched buzzing noise was heard and the sphere that was blue turned gray and turned off. Then the doors of an elevator opened.
"Come on." Sunset said.
"But what is there?"
"Just... let's go." Sunset repeated firmer this time.
The dazzlings obeyed and entered the elevator. Sunset activated it with Megan's card and descended a few floors until they reached a cave.
"Will this peninsula ever make sense?" Aria asked.
Sunset lit a torch and went inside. Her friends were kind of surprised by her attitude but followed her with the flashlight and torches. They walked through the cave. It was a little narrow, but they managed to go down a rope and still continue the journey. In front there was a lake. They took their scuba gear and submerged. It wasn't deep, they just had to cross the other side and move on. Luckily, there was no sign of cannibals or mutants, but that no longer mattered. They stopped in front of a wall of rocks that prevented them from following.
"Adagio? Lend me your dynamite.” Sunset said seriously.
The girl obeyed without protest, her girlfriend lit it with the lighter and threw it to the wall. They covered themselves behind some boxes until it exploded. After checking that everything was fine, they continued a little longer until they reached a narrow exit. Once outside, they were in the snowy area.
They heard a noise, it was from the plane they had seen before. They saw the only chance they had to get out. Sunset took out of her things, a picture of the boy she tried to save. She recognized him because she had found him in a magazine. He was the son of a survival book writer, the same one they had. Adagio, Aria and Sonata couldn't help feeling empathy for their friend. She lit the lighter again and burned that photo letting the wind take away the remains until they disappeared from her sight.
"It would be better to leave, it will get dark soon and we are far from the cabin." said Sunset.
"Sunset..." Sonata said.
"Girls. I just want to leave this place, please.” Sunset said smiling.
"Okay," Adagio said approaching her and taking her hand. "Let's go girls."
The four walked to the cabin. No one spoke on the road, they didn't wanted to remember anything they saw there. Luckily there was no cannibals or mutants and that relieved them, after knowing the whole truth. They didn't knew if they could kill cannibals again or even mutants.
"Do you and Aria have enough supplies?" Adagio asked Sunset.
"Yes, I think so. We can hunt something if there isn't enough." said her girlfriend thoughtfully.
"I think I left some dried meat and energy bars." Aria said.
"But Sunset doesn't eat meat, and there are no plants here, you didn't think about that, huntress?" Adagio growled.
"What do you mean? I don't know how to hunt?!” Aria said annoyed.
"Calm down, I have everything I need to do a soup for Sunset." Sonata said trying to calm the situation.
"Luckily when it comes to food, Sonata does think." Adagio said taking Sunset's hand.
“Aww! Thanks Dagi.” she smiled. “HEY! What do you mean? That I don't think?!” Sonata said annoyed.
Sunset listened to her friends, stripping and arguing. The right thing would be to stop them but she decided to smile and listen to how they cared for her. They finally knew the secret of the peninsula. The Sahara company settled in this place, doing experiments, with innocent children, separating them from their families. But what were they doing it for? To control death? Or maybe, for Megan? She seemed to have a special treatment, not because she was the daughter of a scientist. It's just as if... all of this was for her. Maybe it was to cure her? That should be it! But was it necessary to sacrifice so many children? Was it worth it? One life... for many?
"Sunset?" Adagio called.
"Huh? What?” She said waking up from her thoughts.
"We arrived, come on, it's getting colder here." she said, pulling her into a hug.
"Oh! Sure, let's go." Sunset said. "Did we arrive so fast? Or was I really so lost in thinking?"
They settled in the ‘room’ and discussed a way out of the place as it was the first few days. But now they have been here for more than two months. They had to leave but they didn't had many options. The yacht was broken, and there was no construction strong enough to take them home.
"Let's finish eating and we'll go to sleep. If we'll go back to the shelter we can think better." Adagio said.
"It seems fine." Sonata said.
"Yes, because I hate the cold." Aria said, eating.
Sunset finished eating, left her weapons and went to sleep to the room.
“It affected her that she left that boy, right?” Sonata said.
“What did you expect? We left that child there, he was already dead but she still feels bad.” Aria said.
“She feels guilty, she was the only one who saw him alive, and she felt she could do something to save hik. But it wasn't like that.” said Adagio
“But it is. What can we do?" Sonata asked
"First, let's go back to the shelter then we'll talk. Let's go to sleep." Adagio said and the others obeyed her.

Days passed since that incident. They concentrated on escaping using the yacht. They built a pier that connected it to the beach. Aria was in charge of repairing it, since she was the only one with mechanical knowledge. Sonata and Adagio were continuing to maintain the shelter, hunting and weapons. Sunset was responsible for exploring and searching tools for Aria. Her friends let it go once she recovered from what happened. As she had to explore very far, possibly near the snow. Sonata made her a winter outfit with deer skins.
"She probably went with Sonata to eat, or to hunt with Adagio." Sunset said, leaving a couple of tools.
She was about to leave, but she saw that blocked by access door. Suddenly she had an idea.
"Mmm... I wonder if..." she took out the card they had won from Megan, put it on the door, and it opened. "I was afraid that will happen... I'm sorry Adagio." She said entering the room.
There wasn't much in particular. Only crucifix papers and religious objects. But there was something special on the bed. It was a small black object, similar to the Sahara artifact. Only that it was much smaller and weirdly pointed.
“Is this... another clue? But what? ”She asked confused. "It will be better to not tell the others. Or at least until I find out that it is for sure." Sunset said hiding the device. "How good that I am the one who is exploring, maybe this will help us out."

None of her friends suspected Sunset's plans they were focused on their tasks. Sunset was the one who stayed on guard. She took the advantage that everyone was asleep to sneak out, but Onix made a noise.
"Friend! You have to keep quiet, I need you to stay and take care of them. I count on you.” Sunset whispered.
She opened the door and went out in her winter suit. She digested herself to the only place where she still didn't explore, the snowy area.
"I only have to go tonight, I hope to do it." Sunset said running super fast.
At least she arrived ahead of time. She entered a cave with a very narrow entrance and as always lit a torch and explored the place with the help of ropes. She went through narrow ways and even had to face some cannibals. She continued until she reached one of those pressure platforms, but this one was different.
"Curious, I don't think that with just rocks I will open this door, maybe..." She took out the device and put it on top, where it fits very well, like a key.
The doors widened, but this time there was no darkness, there was a light inside. Sunset went deeper and saw the origin of the light. A room full of corpses, skeletons on a kind of pedestal. They were in a praying position. In the center of the pedestal there was a blue luminous ball, curiously familiar.
"It looks like the sphere that the Sahara had, but smaller." Sunset taking it in her hands, suddenly a harpoon came out of the sphere. "Except I didn't do that, if it works like the big one, I should deactivate it, but how." she said confused contemplating the object.
She decided to go out and find out later, she noticed that it was almost dawn. She had little time left. While she was running back, she noticed that the walkers and even the mutants were moving away from her. When she arrived at the shelter, she noticed that she had the sphere in her hand all the time.
"Interesting, I have to keep this for me, for now" Sunset said entering the shelter.

For three weeks, Sunset learned that the artifact ball was not like the big one in the snowy area. It was used to alter the way the cannibals work. It can be held in the hand or stuck in the ground. The blue color actually drove them away and when you turn it off, they returned to attack.
“Girls? I must tell you something.” Sunset said.
"What is it now?" Aria said eating.
“I found this a few weeks ago.” Sunset took the sphere out from her pocket.
"That's…"
"Yes Sonata, it is the sphere that knocks down planes." said Aria.
"Sunset… did you?"
"Don't! Adagio don't think badly. This isn't to take down the planes, it's actually to control the cannibals.” Sunset explained.
"Control them?" Aria asked surprised.
"Yes, look." She lit it. “This blue light keeps them away. I have placed it at the entrance of the
“Awww! You were protecting us!” Said Sonata moved.
"In a chilling way." Aria said. "And what do you plan on doing with that?"
"Well, I don't know, it has helped us a lot to protect ourselves." said Sunset.
"Turn that thing off, or destroy it." Adagio said.
"I will, but not yet. At least not before we go." said Sunset.
"That thing will kill us Sunset!" Adagio said angrily.
“This has protected us! With this I have protected you!!” Sunset said more angry.
“For how long Shimmer!! I just know that the more you use it, the more we will be here, the worse it will get! Because you wasted your time on something so stupid!!” Adagio said approaching angry.
"That's not-!"
“You couldn't control your stupid curiosity! We support you in finding answers and what do we get?!
"Ada-"
"Shut up!! Just shut up and give me that!!” she growled snatching the device and walking to the door.
"Adagio! Don't! Wait!" Sunset screamed trying to stop her.
"Adagio!” Aria said after her, next to Sonata.
Adagio came out of the shelter, walked away a little and was about to break it, but Sunset intervened.
"Adagio! You may be right, and this could cause us more problems, but you must not destroy it, not like this!” Sunset said pressuring her.
“I never wanted any of this since we got here! Why do you want to know?!”
“Because I don't want the insane asylum to happen again!! Nothing had changed! And here neither! But with that child… I could do something… and I didn't do it, I couldn't sacrifice many for one life.” Sunset said.
“Sunset, you were not to blame! Stop blaming yourself!" Adagio said.
"I CAN'T!!" She shouted pushing her, causing her to throw the sphere to the ground. It went on, but the color was not the natural blue, it was a bright red.
"And now what does that mean?" Adagio said.
"No... I don't know." Sunset said surprised.
"How not-?"
The sphere became increasingly red, and the worst part is that it had been buried in the earth. Now cannibal screams were heard. They suddenly appeared in large numbers along with mutants.
"Oh no..." Sonata said taking her spear.
"This is bad." Aria said. "You two stop fighting and you better fight with them." She pulled out her chainsaw.
"I'm afraid we have to discuss later." Sunset said taking her katana.
"Yes, I know," Adagio said taking her bow.
They faced the monsters, it was the largest group they had ever faced. Their weapons were useful but they were going to need more than that. Even the explosives weren't enough.
"This is bad." Aria said.
"Yes, there is too many of them." Sonata said breathing heavily.
"No, this is different, they are more aggressive than normal." Adagio said.
"It must be through that sphere, if the blue mode moves them away, the red one makes them more aggressive. The sphere moved away during the fight if we get to it and activating the blue mode it will make them go away." Sunset said.
"I like the plan." said Sonata.
"Adagio should go, after all it's her fault." Aria said.
"Shut up!" Adagio said annoyed.
"No. I'll go, the fault is mine, I brought that sphere, and I will take care of it.” Sunset said seriously.
"What?! You are crazy?! It's a suicide mission! ” Adagio said.
"It's my mistake Dagi, I'm sorry you saw it." Sunset looked at his girlfriend. "I'll fix the mistake." She smiled
"Sunset..."
"Come on! I will need your help to get there!" Sunset said.
"Well, let's start." Aria said turning on the chainsaw.
With explosives and their best weapons they attacked the cannibals. and with the mutants they only drove them away, Sunset took the opportunity to run to take the sphere, but a force pushed her back to the ground. It was a huge mass of meat made up of multiple (more than a dozen) smaller entities that looked like slugs with teeth at one end.
"But what is this?!" Sunset said surprised.
The strange being was first formed to a tower that hit the ground. It sent Sunset to fly, but she recovered and attacked it with her katana. Every time she did that, it broke apart and changed constantly connecting with thin but thick threads of meat joined together in different ways.
"That is taking too long!" Sunset said tired and sweating. She lit a Molotov cocktail and threw it into the mutant.
"WHAT DEVILS?!!" Sunset shouted shocked.
She was still from shock so much that it was impossible to dodge it. The beast knocked her down and she fell from the cliff. Although it wasn't very high, it hurt enough to make her scream in pain.
"SUNSET!!" the dazzlings shouted.
Aria took out all her bombs, lit them and threw the majority of the mutants. Adagio did the same with her dynamite and Sonata with the flares. As soon as the place was cleared, they went down carefully and reached their friend, her condition was terrible.
"Sunset..."
"She has a broken leg." Aria said. "And she's unconscious."
"What do we do now?!" Sonata said nervously.
Adagio moved away a little as she took Aria's ax and the log transporter. She split a log in two and threw it on the transporter and carried it back to the girls.
"Quick! Straighten the leg with the trunks and raise it here.” Adagio said.
Aira did it, since she was the only one with the will to do it, although if I regret hurting her friend, the poor woman screamed in pain and collapsed every time she did. In the end they tied her leg with the pieces of wood, put it on the log transporter and moved away from the place.
"Damn worm!" Said Aria angrily.
"All our things... at least we didn't lose you again." said Sonata, with Onix in her backpack.
"At least we have all the weapons, some food and water." Adagio said.
"What are we?" Aria asked.
"We have to treat Sunset and we have to go to the cabin. We have to avoid getting sick from the cold, take your sweaters." Adagio said, walking towards the forest.
Sonata followed her from behind, and Aria took charge of taking Sunset.

After two and a half hours, they reached the snowy area. Sunset was covered by a thick layer of clothes. They placed the cannibal effigies in front of the cabin to scare them away. They put
"What will we do? Wait until it gets better?” Sonata asked.
"We have been here for 20 days, we can't continue, especially with Sunset's condition." Adagio said.
"And what do you propose?" Aria asked.
"We will follow the plan, repair the yacht to get out of this damn place." Adagio said seriously, sitting next to her girlfriend.
"And the mutant worm?" Sonata asked.
"It's mine..." She growled in rage.

We Have to Get Out of Here
The snow fell slowly in the mountains. The Sun didn't made the environment better. There were so many things to explore and discover, but since that incident, they no longer used that word. In the center of the snow blanket, there was a cabin that once was abandoned, but now is the only refuge for the girls. It's as if they started again from scratch and they hated it. But now it was much worse. The weather didn't help in anything, food was scarce and water was hard to get, but at least Sunset was fine.
That worm had not only broken her leg but it also left her several blows. Girls were hoping they were only outside and that she haven't been injured inside. If she did, she would have already died. Sunset had been asleep for more than two days. That left the dazzlings with the escape plan. They needed to repair the yacht to leave. But due to Sunset's condition, they couldn't leave her alone so they only went out in shifts. At least Adagio or Sonata, plus Aria. Sonata was the only that was going to cook or help with Sunset's medicines and bandages.
Adagio stayed most of the time. She entered her room and saw that Sunset was still asleep with her pet on her stomach. The poor guy haven't left her side since they arrived. Siren put down the medicine and sat beside her and took the ferret carefully.
"I know, but when she'll wake up, you won't want to be there, believe me" she placed the little one on her legs.
She saw that Sunset was still asleep and thought about the fight and felt horrible. If she hasn't started it, she wouldn't have activated the sphere. They wouldn't have lost their home and above all, she almost killed her girlfriend.
"It seems that I keep making mistakes, the concert, the asylum, now here... I think I'm not like before. I always trusted my skills, my plans, and I judged things a lot... especially you." she caress the ferret.
She took a cloth put it in water, drained it and put it on her girlfriend's forehead. She stroked her hair in the hope that she would open her eyes.
“I admit when I saw you, you seemed to be like the others for me. Innocent and stupid but very pretty. And little by little I knew your way of being. Though I know that you wouldn't like to hear this, but I would like to see your evil side or know it at least.”Adagio said smiling. "I didn't feel bad when I told you those things until... I guess it was in the asylum. Nobody Has ever showed me that kindness" she smiled at the memory of asylum.
Something very strange coming from a place that was and perhaps still is a real hell. But that was where Adagio began to like Sunset, the person who took everything she loved from her. But when she healed her arm, when she held her in her arms. That time she saved her from the fall of the building and especially when she saved her from that castrating groom, she began to feel something. She didn't know what it was, but she had help with that. But when she really felt that crush was that day, one of the few after they started living with her.
"I think I should thank Aria and Sonata for accepting my feelings for you... those two are dumb." Adagio smiled.
*FLASHBACK*
The first days they lived with Sunset were difficult. Especially with Aria and Sonata more than anything else. Their fights weren't so constant, but the comfort made them very lazy. More than usual for Adagio. Now they were arguing about what to watch on television. The leader siren was tired of watching tv so she went to the kitchen for something to drink. She saw that Sunset was in the kitchen checking newspapers and accounts payable. Adagio approached her silently. She looked tired.
"What's going on Sunset?" she sat next to her.
"I'm looking for a job," she replied drinking her coffee.
"For what? You have a lot of money for a lifetime.” Adagio said.
"Yes, one life. But we're, allow me to add, four lives now. You know that the money is for mine and your studies."
“Sunset seriously, we told you we won't return to Canterlot.”
"I know and I think I respect your decision. But you can't stay here doing nothing." Sunset argumented.
"We will help you clean." the siren replied.
"That's not enough. Expenses have risen, the food ends faster than before and you lost your job. I need your help."
"You know they didn't look for a job but believe me I've been looking," Adagio said.
"In my opinion, you don't seem very interested." Sunset said.
"I'll get it, relax now, will you?"
Sunset just sighed tired and returned the notes ignoring Adagio's presence. That made the siren feel bad. She couldn't understand it because she felt bad about hurting her feelings. That wasn't normal for her. For some reason she didn't want Sunset to think badly about her. She thought it was maybe because she owed her one after saving her. It should've be that.
"Okay, I'll talk to them, don't worry." Adagio said.
"Thanks Adagio, really." Sunset smiled.
That smile again caused a peace of mind for Adagio. Also the strange feeling that she would find out later. She waited two days to talk to them and started with Sonata.
"Sonata? We need to talk"
"What's wrong Dagi?"
"It's about the situation at home. Things are a bit difficult since I lost my job and Sunset hers." the siren explained. “And while we look for a work, we will need a lot of help”
"What do you mean?" Sonata asked confused.
"I mean that you have to look for a work. You and Aria." Adagio said.
"A job? I never had one! I don't like the idea.” she said scared
"Quiet Sonata, I will help you." Adagio said.
"You? Help me?” she was surprised. "That's not something you would say."
"I... I don't know, Sunset looks desperate and-"
"So you're doing it for Sunny?" she asked curious.
“Sunset? No, no. This is because of the situation and- ”
"Dagi, do you feel anything for Sunset?" Sonata asked.
"What?! No! Of course no! We have no other home and-”
"Okay Dagi, I'll look for a job if that helps you with Sunny." Sonata smiled. "But I will need help searching."
"Do you... want help?" Adagio asked surprised.
"Okay, I'll ask Aria for help. I know she will help me." Sonata said.
“But you always argue, why would she help you?” Adagio was confused.
"We fight but I know that deep down she loves me, as I love her" the little siren smiled.
"Do you like Aria?" she asked confused.
"Does that bother you?" Sonata asked worried.
"No, it's just that it's something surprising, that's everything." said Adagio. "Well, I'm going to talk to Aria about work. Do you know where is she?"
"She must be in the garage she told Sunset she would help her." Sonata smiled.
"Thank you." she said leaving the room.
"Adagio?" Sonata called.
"What's up?" she asked.
"I like Sunset, it looks like she has good intentions." Sonata smiled.
"Okay...?" and with that she closed the door of the room.
What was that? She knew Sonata was childish and strange too, but that sounded very strange. She likes Sunset, but that wasn't like a compliment. It sounded more like an approval. Adagio decided not to think about it anymore and went to the garage. There she found Aria, he was checking the car, Sunset was also, but under the car.
"What are you doing here Dazzle?" Aria growled.
"I need to talk to you, Sunset could you give us a moment?"
Sunset got out of the car. She was wearing a blue mechanic suit.
"Sure Adagio, is everything alright?"
"I... yes, everything is fine. I just need to say something to Aria." Adagio was in shock.
"Okay, we're going to take a break from all of it. I'll go for something to drink, want something?" she asked.
"A soda," Aria replied.
"No thanks, it'll only be a second." Adagio said.
"Okay, I'll be right back." she took off her gloves and entered the house.
"Then... are you going to talk to me or you're not done looking at Sunset's ass."
"SHUT UP! I'm not looking at anything!” Adagio growled furiously.
"It's more than obvious how you eat it with your eyes, Dazzle." Aria smiled.
“I didn't came for that I want to talk to you about looking for a job. Sunset can't do it alone and needs help.”
"Yes, she said something about it. She wasn't as direct as you, but she said how the situation was."
"And what do you think?" Adagio asked.
“That although I still like Sunset, I like living here.”
“We must look for a job, all three.”
“Sonata too? How?”Aria asked surprised.
"You will help her, at least she said that."
"Well, whatever." Aria shrugged.
"Really? Won't you complain or growl, or at least insult?" she asked confused.
"I already said yes. What more do you want?"
“Calm down, it's just that your attitude surprises me, that's all. You have always been bitter and negative.”
“And your bossy and possessive. Although not with Sunset, right?” she smiled wickedly.
"What?!" Adagio blushed intensely.
“Okay, Sonata would never tell you this, but I'm not so soft. It is more than obvious that you feel something for Sunset. We have noticed it so why don't you stop trying hard and tell her?”
"I don't... feel anything for her." she blushed.
"Oh please! As soon as I saw her in the asylum you prevented me from putting a hand on her. You defended her.”
"That was just because I owed her one. She saved me several times in that place." Adagio crossed her arms.
“And why do you blush every time? Why do you smile when she sits next to you? And especially… why when you cook you feed her directly in the mouth?” she gave her another wicked smile.
"Because... because I-"
"Because you're in love with her!" she complained. “Look, I don't care who you are with but now it's different. At first I got angry when Sonata told me but now that I live with her I can see that she is not so bad. And especially she is the only one who could put you under control, I admire that.”
"Aria…"
"So tell her how you feel and stop looking like a nervous girl."
“I… I can't, at least not now. But I will look for a way to tell her if you do the same with Sonata.”
"I knew you would say that, but this is not about me. Tell Sunset that the car will take longer than normal. It will be better to continue tomorrow." she left everything and was about to leave.
"Really, think about it."
"Sure, thanks Ari." Adagio smiled.
"Whatever, and don't call me that." she growled angrily.
"Oh sure, only Sonata calls you that~." she smiled mischievously.
"Fuck you" Aria left the room.
"I love you too!" Adagio laughed.
When night fell Sonata prepared the food. They sat down to eat as usual. It was a pleasant feeling especially for Sunset. Aria and Sonata went to sleep while Sunset finished cleaning with Adagio's help. They finally sat together on the couch.
"Sunset?"
"Yes?"
"I talked to Sonata and Aria. They told me they're going to look for work, so it's just a matter of time."
"Really? That's great! With your support we can keep up very well. I will still be using part of Waylon's money but I don't want you to get used to it ”
“I know. Now you feel less stressed?” she asked with hope that what she did will help her.
"Yes. I still am but it took off a heavy weight of me." she smiled at her siren friend. "Thank you Adagio."
"Y-You're welcome. I still owe you one for saving me from so many times in the insane asylum." she hid her blush.
"I know, but still thanks." she smiled. "Now I hope you also keep your promise you made to me."
“I know we promised you we will go back to the school, but not to Canterlot high. I think I was very clear in that part.”
"And I told you that I respect your decision, so you won't go to Canterlot, but I have a better idea."
"What idea do you have Shimmer~?" she smiled.
"I'll tell you tomorrow, now." she took siren's hand. "Thanks for what you did, it means a lot." she smiled. "We will be better now."
"Yes, we will" Adagio smiled broadly at her beloved secret.
*END OF FLASH BACK*
She got lost in the memory and didn't realize that Sunset began to complain, and little by little she opened her eyes.
"Hey." Adagio whispered happily.
"A-Adagio? What happened...? Where-...?"
"We are in the cabin, on the snowy mountain." she explained.
"How... did we... arrived?"
"We took you with the log transporter. That mutant worm threw you off the cliff. The sand eased your fall but still your leg broke"
"My leg? I hardly remember anything..." she tried to sit down.
"Calm down, take it easy, let me help you." Adagio said carefully.
“What happened to the sphere? Our home?” Sunset asked desperately.
"It's destroyed, the mutants destroyed it. And I think the sphere is still there but the beach is now a dangerous place." Adagio explained.
"And the yacht?" she asked.
“We have been fixing it. We went in pairs while one stayed to take care of you. We have done well these two days.”
"Two days?! I've been unconscious for two days?! ”Sunset yelped surprised.
"Yes, you really worried us." she took her hand. "Sunset... what I told you-"
"No, you were right. I should have thought about things better, but as always, my desire to explore and know everything won over me again. I thought I protected you, but I made it worse. We are even worse than when we arrived, this time if-" she was silenced by a kiss.
"It's not your fault." Adagio said. “I was, I am, tired of all this. I want to go home, I want all of this to end. I want to have you again... with me ”
"Yes, being here was a hell. Even though I'm not only sorry for lying, but also for being a burden to you." she stroked her girlfriend's hand.
"But now we'll leave with the yacht. Aria will finish repairing it and we will leave." Adagio smiled. "So... are we alright?" she asked.
"Yes, although I wanted to compensate you for all the stupidities I did." Sunset smiled.
"Really? How will you do that?" she asked curious.
Sunset took her girlfriend's face and approached closer.
"I have something in mind~."
"Oh~ continue~." siren smiled mischievously.
Sunset bowed and kissed her girlfriend intensely. They haven't had such a moment in many days. Adagio sat on the bed to be more comfortable. While they were in their romantic moments, Aria and Sonata sailed from the shore of the ocean on a large raft with a large wooden base and with stairs to a small upper base. In that boat, they carried logs, food, metal parts of the plane, etc. Things that would help them repair the yacht. They looked at the beach and they saw cannibals, and where their home used to be, many mutants.
"I don't see the mutant worm," said Sonata.
"I think it's better, we are not here to fight, we're here to fix the yacht." Aria stopped the raft next to the yacht and below some other things. "Take care of me, ok?"
"Always." the little siren smiled.
That made her smile at her girlfriend too, she entered to start working. For while Sonata took care of any attack. Although it was absurd that she could go so far, but in reality, she was more concerned about the sharks. Since Adagio had her new bow, she used the wooden one she had used before. She was so focused on cannibals that she didn't see a shark getting very close to the raft. She reacted late because he got very close. But when another arrow hit his eye it made him swim away.
"That crossbow is more useful than my rotting bow." Sonata laughed.
"Remember that you have never used one, Adagio taught you the basics, but you lack the reflexes." said Aria. "I'm almost done, just fine-tune some details and we can start the escape."
“Are you sure we can? I mean, I don't doubt you it's just that-”
"I know Nata, but if something is easy to repair it's the engines. What worries me most is Sunset. She will not be able to travel in her state."
"What will we do now?" she asked.
“We have to finish here. Use the rope to tie the raft to the yacht, I need your help to finish.”
"Of course, Ari!" The little siren smiled.
"Come on." Aria smiled entering the yacht.

Four hours later, they left the yacht. They moored the raft and went to the beach where a lot of cannibals were waiting for them.
"Don't be afraid Sonata, you can do it." Aria took out the lighter.
"No... I'm not afraid... anymore." Sonata took out a can of hairspray.

Aria lit a torch and Sonata used the lighter, creating a powerful flame together, which was very effective, eliminating a lot of the cannibals. They ran into the forest away from the beach until they reached a lake.
"Wait, we need more food if we're going to go." said Sonata, pulling out a bag full of spears. "Help me."
Together they hunted a lot of fish, unfortunately they couldn't continue because they heard roars of mutants. They ran away further and further, until they reached the snowy area. They took out their winter clothes and ran until they reached the cabin. They left their heavy things and entered. Aria lit the fireplace and sat on the couch, while Sonata prepared some fish and began cooking.
"I think we're ready for tomorrow. Aria could you tell Adagio to come to eat?"
"Okay." Aria got up from the sofa and went to the room. She was about to knock, but she heard some noise. She slowly opened the door, closed it after a second and returned to the living room.
"What happened? And where's Adagio?”
"She... is with Sunset… who is awake."
"Awake?! Can we see her?" she smiled happily.
"No! She and Sunset are busy. They will be for a few hours. ”
“Huh? What are you talking about?" Sonata asked innocently.
“Sonata… do you remember Christmas? Or the new year?”
"Oh ... that." the poor siren blushed.
"Yes, I think it will only be you and me." she sighed.
“A date together! We haven't had one for a long time.” she said clinging to her girlfriend's arm.
"Yes, it's been a while." Aria said blushing.
They sat together on the couch and enjoyed their meal. Although it was not a very elegant dinner, just roasted fish and two sodas, but they enjoyed their moment of peace. There was just the sound of the campfire and the snow falling outside. When they finished their dinner they relaxed in silence.
"Aria?"
"Yes?"
"I want to go home," he curled up in his arm.
“We will leave here, and we will never go camping again, I promise"
“Awww! But I like camping, without cannibals, and without monsters, ”Sonata complained.
"If you want, but it will be difficult to go back to a forest, at least for me"
"Would you go alone with me?" Sonata asked.
"B-Well, if you put it that way, I would go alone with you" she blushed.
"And can we do those same things that Sunset and Adagio do?"
"WHAT??" she yelled surprised, almost jumping. “You just asked me about sex? This is the most awkward conversation we've ever had.”
"I'm sorry, but I always hear how Adagio proposes it to Sunset every time." young siren said.
“Because Adagio is a damn sexual maniac! And Sunset is very submissive to her."
"I'm sorry... it's just that I've asked myself many times, if you and I…"
"Sonata." Aria took her hand. "If I want to, but only if it seems good to you." she blushed intensely.
"I... I want." she gave her a broad smile.
"Well ... we could, but I feel weird doing it here with Adagio and Sunset in the other room." she muttered.
"Then... maybe, when we get out of here?" Sonata asked hopefully.
"I would like that." Aria smiled.
"But, can I still lie on your lap?"
"You have done a great job and you deserve it" she layed on the couch. "so it's okay"
Sonata squeaked with happiness and laid her body on her beloved one's. They curled up on the wooden sofa and animal skins, enjoying each other's company. Soon fell asleep together in their favorite position.
In the other room, Adagio covered her girlfriend and herself in an animal skin mantle, enjoying one of many passionate moments that they hadn't had in a long time.
"Oh my~ I needed this." Adagio said snuggling into Sunset.
"Yes... but you stink" other girl smiled.
"Of course no!" she whined.
"You are, but I don't dislike it, after all, it was my fault that we lost our home, and your beloved shower system"
"Sunset, I already told you and I showed you~ that we are fine." the siren smiled. “The important thing is to leave this place."
"You're right. Also I think Aria and Sonata have already returned."
"I don't know, I could only hear you~~" she whispered kissing her again.
"Yes~ I know you want more but, I would like to eat something."
"Oh! It's true you haven't eaten anything.” she got up and put on her clothes. "I'll prepare your favorite stew, don't go back to sleep~" she leaned in, stroked Sunset's face and kissed her lips.
"Sure, don't worry." Sunset laughed.
Adagio smiled for the last time and left the room. She came to the main room and saw her friends in a tender hug. It would be a good opportunity to annoy Aria, but she decided to leave it and heat the stew. Luckily Sonata always thinks about having food. Although she didn't want to make noise, Aria woke up.
"Hey, you didn't have enough from eating Sunset~?" she smiled wickedly.
"Shut up." Adagio yawned. "Did you repair the boat?"
"Yes, it's ready." she got up carefully without waking Sonata.
"The problem is Sunset. The trip will be long, how will it take?"
"Mmm…"
"Maybe Sunset knows." Sonata woke up. “She is better at giving ideas, no offence Dagi”
"How can I be offended, if you compare me with my wife?" the siren smiled.
"Anyway, can we figure out how to plan the escape?" Aria asked.
"Sunset just woke up, let her eat first." Adagio served some stew in a wooden bowl.
"That she didn't have enough of you~?" Aria winked.
"Jealous~?" the older siren teased.
"Of you? Not even in dreams! ”Aria shouted. "Calm down, don't fight." Sonata said calming the situation. "Can I see Sunset when she's done eating?"
"Yes Sonata." Adagio said. "If we are really going to plan the escape, it will be better to pack everything." she walked out of the room, while Aria and Sonata obeyed the indication.
After two hours, everything was ready. Food, weapons, water, and medicine. They used boxes and suitcases to storage it and to carry everything they used a log conveyor. They went to Sunset's room where she was playing with Onix and Adagio was sitting next to her.
"Everything is ready," said Aria.
"Well, that's it, let's review the plan." said Sunset. “Aria will take care of you, Adagio will carry the things and I will be protecting you with the spear or spring. Until we'll leave the snowy area.” Sonata explained.
"And when we'll enter the forest" continued Aria. "We will change. Adagio will take Sunset, Sonata the things and I will be defending against the cannibals with the crossbow or chainsaw."
"This is how we will get to the beach." Adagio continued. "Sonata will take you to the yacht while Aria and I will protect you from the mutants and cannibals. Then Sonata will return to replace Aria, so she can carry all the provisions."
“And finally, once we arrive we will activate the bombs that connect the beach to the yacht to make sure that monsters don't follow us. Even if you will help me get to the boat, I'm going to support you and help to defend.” Sunset said. "Now, no matter what happens I want you to know that despite everything we've lived through here, I'm glad it was you three who were on my side." she smiled.
“Awww! Sunny.” Sonata smiled.
"You are part of us now." Adagio took his hand. "We will always be grateful for everything since the asylum until now."
"Yes, despite the differences you ended up liking us." Aria smiled.
"Thank you girls," the pony girl almost cried.
"Let's get out of here."
With their winter suits,the transporters with the things supported with ropes and Sunset with some things they were ready.
"Ready?" Sonata asked.
“Ready!” Sunset said with Onix in her backpack.
"Okay, let's go." the youngest siren prepared her weapon.
As the plan said, they ran outside the snowy area, and as expected there were several cannibals. Only a few that Sonata could control. She attacked them with the spring, but it wasn't enough so she continued with the bow. She finally chased them away with the flare gun. She continued running with the spear in hand. They stopped in the forest and changed positions. The things became more difficult. There were not only cannibals, but also some mutants, a virginia and an armsy. Aria's chainsaw was good against the cannibals. She used the crossbow with poisoned or fire arrows. Sunset, even though she couldn't walk or move very much, helped Aria with some Molotov cocktails, giving her enough time to activate the hidden traps in the trees. Two Rope Swing Traps destroyed them all at the same time. Once safe, they ran towards the beach.
"We're almost there." Aria gasped.
"This is where the real action begins, get ready." Sunset said.
It was true. Their old house was full of mutants, and in the center of the beach were many cannibals. As planned they ran to the pier. Sonata took the things to the yacht while Adagio and Aria protected Sunset. It wasn't the same as the other times. There were more cannibals than they have ever faced. Even though they were able to defeat them, it wasn't the end. The mutants came too. Sonata returned for Sunset, but she barely got to the middle of the dock, when she saw Aria and Adagio having problems with the mutants.
"Go help them!"
"But Sunset, that's not part of the plan." Sonata was surprised.
"I know! But they need you, go! ”Sunset shouted.
"But you-"
"I'll be fine Sonata!"
Sonata ran to their aid and attacked some cannibals. Sunset saw in the distance mutants that were on their way. She took some projectiles and threw them at them. She obviously couldn't kill them, but she left them weak enough for her friends to give them the final blow. But then came the mutant worm. She didn't know what to do, until she saw Onix trying to get the attention of the mutant. That made her react, besides worrying her ferret helped her to have the time. Sunset prepared herself with some fire arrows and passed them to her friends. She prepared some Molotov cocktail and got ready. As soon as her friends shot the arrows, the monster changed shape and dissolved into parts again. But Sunset was ready. She threw the Molotov cocktails into the air and the dazzlings fired again. It worked. The flames burned every piece of the mutant, who screamed in pain.
“Now girls! Let's go!” Sunset shouted.
The dazzlings obeyed running to the yacht. The first to arrive was Sonata who hurried to put all things, Aria took Onix on her back and followed her to turn on the yacht and Adagio took her girlfriend. Sonata returned to help her. Once in the boat, they watched as the cannibals and mutants advanced. They attacked back with their last arrows and they fired at the hidden bombs. Some cannibals and mutants flew into the air, even pieces of meat fell on the yacht. Some mutants roared for not being able to follow them and cannibals drowned in salt water. Soon that peninsula where they have lived for a month and a half, was lost In the distance.
"We've... escaped..." Sunset whispered.
"Yes, we did it." Adagio said smiling.
“WE DID IT!!!” Sonata shouted happily hugging Aria.
"And all thanks to you little friend" Sunset stroked her ferret.
"And Adagio, if Onix hadn't distracted her, I don't know if the escape had worked"
“HURRAY FOR ONIX!!” Sonata charged the happy animal.
"True… But where are we going now?” Aria ask confused.
"Don't worry Aria, luckily we have the map we packed before and we have the compass."
“I hope so Sunset, we are in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean."
"It's more like the Pacific." Adagio said.
"Are you going to start again?!"
"Enough of it you two. Let's focus on sailing north. If you remember well it's where we left from the airport." Sunset explained.
"I just want to rest." said Sonata.
"You're right, especially you." Adagio took Sunset up. "You still haven't fully recovered"
"I think it's one of the few things that I agree with you Dazzle. Sonata, do you want to help?"
"Okay!" she smiled helping her friend. “I will go to the kitchen to prepare something later”
"That sounds good. Something tells me that we will be in the sea for some time." Adagio said entering the interior of the boat.
"I hope it won't be as much as on the island." Aria said.
Things didn't turn out as bad as they thought they will. A week passed since they escaped. Aria was the only one who could operate the yacht, so she had to spend some sleepless nights. Sunset used to go out a little to help Aria. Adagio didn't want her to do it and that made her argue with Aria. Luckily Sonata was always there with her food to calm the atmosphere.
Even though they were no longer on the peninsula, they were still "surviving". The food was not only a problem, but the fuel was. They had enough, but they had no idea how long they would be at sea. Their routine was Aria conducting the ship with Sonata keeping her company. She also fished to have even more food. Adagio took care of Sunset since she couldn't move much. They were always stopping the yacht to eat and sleep at night. A few more days went by like that. It's been something about two more weeks, until... they saw land in the distance.
"Hey! Girls come here!” Aria shouted.
"What's up?" Sonata replied.
"Is there something in the distance? Like a land?"
"Are you sure Aria?" Adagio tried to see the horizon.
"I just hope it's not another desert island. It will be better to go find out."
"Okay Sunset, here we go." Aria said accelerating.
Once they arrived on the land they hid the yacht, kept their weapons and went out to investigate. For their luck it wasn't a desert island, there was civilization and a very heavenly one.
"Where are we?" Sonata asked.
"I don't know but I like it. Finally a decent place." Adagio smiled. "Luckily I kept my bag. I can use my card to get some money, rent a hotel and we'll investigate in the morning, ok?"
"Sounds good, I miss sleeping in a decent bed." Aria sighed.
“Yes, everything is very rustic here.” Sonata admired.
"Oh no! I will not sleep in a hut again.” Adagio complained. “Wait… Oh! Sunsy~!"
Two hours later the girls were on the roof of a hotel, wearing swimsuits. Aria and Sonata were in the pool, Adagio was sunbathing, and Sunset rested under an umbrella with Onix in her lap drinking refreshing drinks.
"Adagio, this looks very expensive." Sunset complained.
"Oh come on Sunsy, we were on a peninsula for almost two months. We deserve this don't you think?"
"Maybe, but was it necessary to ask for a room with a pool?"
"Okay, but don't you think we deserve it?" she repeated approaching her girlfriend. “We've been through a lot, and I'm not only talking about the island, but also about the asylum. Anyway, I have something to tell you.”
"What's going on?"
"Well, did you talk to your friends?"
"Yes, I sent them a message they haven't answered me yet. I hope they are ok."
"Hopefully, but do you remember what we talked about meeting them?"
"Yes?"
"Well, I talked to Aria and Sonata and... we agreed for you to tell them about us."
"Really?" Sunset was surprised.
"Yes. It wasn't fair for us to deny you and make you choose us over your friends."
“I respected your decision and I understand it very well. You don't have to do this.”
“I know, but I want to do it. We are ready I just hope they'll take it well.” Adagio gave her a warm smile.
"I think so, but as you said, we deserve this." Sunset returned the smile for her beloved.
"Well, I'm sorry you can't enjoy this much because of your cast." she hugged her carefully to not disturb Onix.
"It's okay, I like to watch." Sunset smiled, stroking her hair.
After a few days Sunset and the Dazzlings returned home. Of course they kept the yacht.
Sonata was with Adagio planning next Christmas, because they will have more guests. Aria went to look for Sunset in her room where she was playing with Onix.
"Hey Sunset." she entered the room.
"Hi Aria, what's up?"
"Don't tell Adagio, but I recovered this." she showed her the sphere of the resurrection artifact.
"But how-"
"While we were fighting I saw that Adagio and Sonata handled the situation alone, so I took the opportunity to see if it was there, I thought you would like to get it." she handed it to her.
"Wow, thanks Aria, seriously."
"Just don't turn it on, ok?"
"Haha, don't worry, I'll make sure to keep it very well."
"Okay, whatever." walking to the door. "Sonata is making her plans, are you coming?"
"In a second."
"Okay, see ya." Aria closed the door after she walked out.
Sunset smiled at her friend until she left the room. She took her crutches and went to her closet. On one of the walls she had a hidden place that she didn't tell the dazzlings about. Not even Twilight and the others. She contemplate the interior because of its valuable objects. A paper with a drawing of a very tall being without a face with the word "FOLLOWS", another was a wave receiver with compass installed, with a radio, a white hokey mask with dried blood, and of course, the camera with which she was recording in the asylum. She placed the next to it.
"Another piece to the collection." she patted Onix who was on her shoulder. "And another one that we managed to escape with life friend."
The ferret seemed happy, but worried at the same time.
“Don't worry, I also hope it's the last one. Now.” she took out her phone. “It's amazing that they noticed my absence after a week… I was gone for almost two months.”
She waited with the ring tone, until she heard the response.
"Hey Twilight? Could you gather the girls as soon as they come back… I have to talk to you.”
