Celestia woke up , next to her little sister, Luna, who was gently snoring away. Luna's night blue mane was shining in the moonlight and her dark blue coat was ruffled by the wind coming from the window. Celestia wanted to let her sleep after a long night of dream-walking, but she needed to lower the moon, on second thought Celestia had been lowering and rising the moon for 1000 years so why not another night. She got up trying her best not to wake Luna up, which wasn't difficult as she was out cold. Celstia got up from her bed and walked out onto the balcony which she and her sister use to lower and rise the moon and the sun. Celestia's horn glowed a deep golden colour and then the moon slowly started to fall. The sun was coming up from the other side as well. Normally, after Nightmare Moon's defeat, they would do this together, even after 1000 years of rising both moon and sun it was still difficult. She gazed up at the sun shining brightly, happy with her work.
Celestia, panting from the effort, looked at her sister. Luna was a beautiful mare, and anyone who didn't think so should not have the right to stay in Equestria. A sudden pang of guilt overtook her body. She shouldn't have ignored her sisters pain over the years. It was her fault that she had isolated her sister on the moon for so long. It wasn't right. Celestia's mind had never been at rest since the fateful day she sent Nightmare Moon to the moon. She stared at the slow rising and falling of her sister’s coat. She seems so peaceful. Celestia walked away from the balcony and stepped into the massive bathroom and the bath that covered one side of the bathroom. Her eyes welled up at the sight of the spacious, elegant tub in which her sister and her used to splash about 1000 years ago. The weight of guilt finally took her body down and she fell on the ground, sobbing.

Luna stood in the middle of a clearing, the grass was luscious and green and the trees whispered to each other in the breeze. A few flowers were blooming in the middle and the sky had a pinkish hue in the deep blue. Luna turned her head towards a particular tree. The leaves on the tree were glistening with morning dew. the trunk of the tree was a shade lighter than the rest. She walked slowly to it staring at the familiar tree. This was where her sister and she used to play when they had no responsibilities, when they were young, when their parents hadn't abandoned them. She took in a deep breath letting the strong smell of nature take her into a trance. Luna hadn't realised it, but the clearing grew dark as clouds started to cover the shining sun. its rays weren't strong enough to penetrate through the foggy thick mist that hung in the air.
Luna looked around her as everything she had known slipped from her sight, she was smothered in darkness. the nightmare she feared the most came again. she was standing in front of her sister, but not in her own body, but in Nightmare Moon. She couldn't do anything as her body did what it had done 1000 years ago. The sisterly bond with her sister was gone and she lunged towards her sister. Luna closed her eyes hoping she was back in reality. Her eyes opened, Celestia was crying,' I am so sorry, but i have to do this!' Luna stared at her sister as she lifted the elements of Harmony and used them. A white flash confused her, she was back on the moon. The dark spirit that consumed her left, it shouted some incoherent words and drifted away in the midnight breeze. Celestia's sobbing could still be heard from where she was standing, her eyes watered. Her sisters grief made he upset. The dream slowly faded away, yet the sobbing became clearer Luna blinked open her eyes, the sound was coming from the bathroom. The bed creaked as she got off it and walked towards the sound. Luna, being a nice pony, knock. 'Celestia... are you alright?' her words echoed around the bathroom and fell on deaf ears as the sobbing didn't show any signs of stopping. She knocked again and harder, she realised the door was unlocked.
Luna saw her big sister sprawled on the floor as the door creaked open. The sobbing subsided as Celestia knew that she was being watched. Luna walked towards her sister and sat down so that their eyes were level. Celestia's deep pink eyes were red from the crying and looked sore. She had never seen her sister cry this much before. Luna shifted closer until their coats brushed each other. 'Celestia... can i call you Tia again?' her sister's nickname had never escaped her mouth after her banish to the moon. Without waiting for an answer she spoke again, 'Tia, you do realise how much I love you?'
Celestia gave a slight nod of the head.
'There is no need to be sad anymore,' Luna continued, 'I forgive you, you did the right thing for our people, I had no right to think the way I was thinking, it was wrong of me and-'
'Enough,' Celestia's voice was stern, yet not cross, 'I do not want you to think it is your fault it was mine, I should have paid attention to your feelings and not be so selfish.'
'Tia... Do you know how silly it sounds? I do not care whose fault it was or anything, I am just happy that we are together again. Forget about the past.' Luna lifted her gaze towards the massive bath. 'I have something in mind,'
Her sister's gaze followed hers as both landed on the bathtub. 'I know we may be too old for baths together, but we need to catch up with each other.' Luna started pleading for one more time in the bath together.
Celestia smiled weakly, 'sure why not, I need to get cleaned up anyways.'
Luna was excited they hadn't done this for ages and immediately started to run for the door, to give the orders to her maids. 'Wait,' she stopped herself in the doorway and walked to her sister. 'I'll help you to get up.' Luna stretched out her hoof, looking a bit embarrassed. Celestia took the hoof, 'thank you, my little Lulu.'
Luna stared at her sister 'Lulu...?' Luna's face started turning a shade deeper.
'Aw... can't I say your nickname? It's only fair that both of us use each others nicknames. Don't you think?' Celestia's eyes were once gleeful like they had been 1000 years ago.
Luna smiled, 'Okay,' her happy eyes betrayed some mischief as she lunged for Celestia and tugged her tail, 'You're it!'
'Oh, it's on,' Celestia chased after her, as Luna's agility gave her the advantage, Celestia had the brains. Luna ran towards the wardrobe, yet Celestia teleported in front of her.
'Hey! That's cheating! No magic,'
'Ah, I found a loophole you never said any rules before we started.' Celestia nipped her tail and called over her shoulder, 'you're it!'
Luna stood where she was, she hadn't seen Celestia act like this since she came back from the moon. However Celestia was getting away, a sudden idea came across Luna's head. poof. Luna ran behind her sister, invisible. she nipped her sister's silky hue-coloured tail. 'You're no match for me!' as her deep coat turned darker and darker until she was visible. 'I caught you.'

Celestia and Luna stopped where they were as a knock came from the door. She looked at her white pelt it was ruffled and her mane was full of tangles, both her and her sister looked the same. she levitated two brushes from the corner of the room and with super-fast speed cleared their coats and manes of knots and tangles. The knock was heard again. Celestia opened the door, it was the royal guard.
'Your Majesty, you are needed in the throne room, there is an unexpected visitor here.'
'Say, I will come in a few minutes,'
'Yes, your Majesty.'
She nuzzled her sister, 'I am sorry, my dear sister, another time?' Celestia left in a few minutes wearing her crown, necklace and royal horse-shoes. 'See you later, dear sister.' she closed the door behind her and left the slightly disappointed Luna. She walked into the throne room, the curtains were closed and there was no one in sight. That was when she was suddenly pulled back by a vice like grip. She tried using her magic, but something was blocking her power. She was tied and blindfolded and taken to a room. Silence, took over everything. Celestia opened her mouth to scream, but a hoof stopped her. It felt familiar, too familiar, yet she couldn't put her mind around it.
TO BE CONTINUED...
Luna was left in the room as her sister bolted out to see this unexpected guest. Shrugging the disappointment off her shoulders, she went into the bathroom and took the shampoo and conditioner from the cupboard. Luna Had invented them herself, it included Lavender and Blueberries. She also had her own personalised towel, It was navy blue, the same colour as her coat and it had teal, the same as her eyes, lettering with a black outline, It spelt, 'Luna'. She had got this towel as a gift from Celestia, before the event in which she was exiled. Her sister had kept her things the exact same way, and asked the servants to dust and clean her room everyday. She put the towel on a small towel-rack near the bath, her horn glowed deep blue as it levitated the shower essentials on a nearby ledge. Even though being a princess and all, she still liked doing somethings herself. She turned on the hot water and sat beside the tub, swirling her hoof in circles, creating small ripples in the water. After a few long minutes of doing absolutely nothing, the water temperature was just right.
She plopped in a Lavender and Blueberry scented bath-bomb, she, then slowly lowered her body into the bath and sighed as the water soaked her through.
Luna thought about the Lavender and Blueberry perfume she had created, and how Rarity overused it and everyone had 'one smelly evening'. Luna, still tired from dream-walking fell slowly in a deep sleep.
her sleep didn't last long as the water became cold and it was hard for anyone to sleep in. She dried herself with the towel and left the bathroom, she called for a few servants to drain out the bath and put her towel in the wash. Luna then brushed her hair with carefulness. She walked to the balcony in which Celestia and her would rise and set the moon and the sun. It was a large balcony, It could have been called a patio it was that big.. She ruffled her glorious Wings and took flight. She held her face high enjoying the lovely morning breeze ruffle her coat. She glided down towards the town of ponyville. She was greeted by the town and was suddenly surrounded by ponies. She thought at how scary they had thought her, now it was different. Her starry mane shook in the breeze as many ponies started leaving the huddle.
After a while the market seemed deserted as only a few fillies were surrounding her. Now, that she could see more clearly she absorbed her surroundings. She was in the middle of Ponyville, a nice, different scenery than Canterlot. Many ponies were hustling about buying whatever they wanted. Luna looked To her right as a recognizable voice rung in her ears.
'Princess, how do you keep your hair so soft and fluffy?' A familiar purple maned mare asked.
'Why, Rarity what a pleasure to meet you.' Luna tried to remember herself after the rude invasion of personal space. 'He-he, Ah! My dear Rarity, I presume you had fun with yourself and my perfume, I created shampoo as part of the Lavender and Blueberry fragrance line'
'Oh! Luna, please don't remind me of that... '
'It's OK Rarity we all have embarrassing moments.' Luna chuckled.
'Any reason you stopped by? I don't think the girls are doing much this Saturday afternoon' She flicked a curl of purple mane out of her eyes,' would you like to come?'
'I would love to however, I can only stay for a short while as I have an important meeting with my sister.'
'Fine, darling, I will meet up with you guys after my Saturday shopping, oh! Darling I forgot to tell you that they are in Twilight's castle'
Luna smiled, she loved meeting Twilight and her friends, they were so entertaining. 'Ok, Rarity I will meet you there shortly'
When Luna arrived the castle was quiet, it seemed empty no one seemed to be here. The glass walls reflected the Princess of the night. She walked silently through the castle with an occasional 'Hello?' There was no sound. She heard a few scratches above her head. When she looked up there was nothing except for a shiny blue ceiling. She realised that even though she had been living in a castle most of her life, she still found it creepy, The way that some corridors lead to empty dark rooms and how there could be some secret doors and passageways. After a few minutes of aimless walking she found a large door with the symbol of Magic on it. 'This must be the main throne room of Friendship...' she thought to herself. She knocked on the door, the sound echoed through the castle. 'Hello?' Luna spoke, 'Anyone there? Rarity told me you guys would be here.' She heard loud shuffling and then the door creaked open.
'Hello, Princess...' An awkward silence followed as the lilac-coloured pony looked around nervously. After Twilight collected her thought antd regained her manners she spoke,' Sorry, for my weird greetings Luna, but I have been stressed lately. The girls are in the next room over I was just preparing some lovely Games and Snacks that we could do. Would you like to join our slumber party?'
'Ah, no my dear Twilight Another time would be best.' She sighed,' I have some important business with Celestia'
At the word 'Celestia' Twilight started hyperventilating.
'A-are you ok?' Luna tilted her head in confusion.
'Y-yes, I-its just that I haven't... um... done something f-for her?'
Luna, unconvinced asked,' What did you not do, I am sure I can convince my sister not to be angry.'
'I-its okay yo-you don't have to get i-involved. I will sort it out myself'
Luna was still unconvinced, but let Twilight go. She went outside the room and heard a faint sigh. Something was up, but she didn't want to get into it right now. Luna walked into the room opposite and knocked.
She heard a murmur of voices come from the door. Pinkie pies shrill voice rung above the rest. 'I hope Twilight is back with lots of fun games.'
That was when Luna walked into the room. It wasn't a big room, but merely the size of a normal living room of a normal citizen. Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Fluttershy were sitting on the sofa, while Rainbow Dash was floating near the top of the ceiling.
'Why innit lovely to see ya'' Applejack's voice welcomed the Princess'
All the others followed.
'Welcome didn't expect you to come'
'Um... Hi'
'Came for some fun?'
Luna laughed, 'Hello, everypony, I just came to meet you all for there is nothing for me to do and I haven't seen you for a long time.'
'Ain't it sweet of you to come, sugarcube,' She lay back on the sofa, 'There's plenty of space for you here, I suspect Twilight told you we were going to have a slumber part?'
'How-How did you know?' Luna's confused face made everypony to chuckle.
'The walls here aren't soundproof here' Pinkie said, between giggles.
'So... Did you accept it or no?' The cyan coloured pony asked.
'I thought you said it wasn't soundproof so you know what I said, right?'
'Nu-uh, Your voice was so quiet, surprising isn't it because just a few years ago you came back with the..' Pinkie prepared herself ,'ROYAL CANTER LOT VOICE!'
everypony nearby covered their ears.
'Pinkie, did you really have to do that?' A corn coloured Pegasus, whimpered. She was now in the corner, whimpering
'Poor Fluttershy' Luna thought.
Luna looked at the time it was half-an-hour before Celestia's meeting was over. Luna thinking of a quick good bye left the ponies.
When Luna arrived she hadn't noticed until now that Pinkie had quickly strapped a saddlebag on her and filled it with cookies.
'How in Equestria does she do that?' Luna shrugged it off, 'Just classic Pinkie Pie
When she reached the balcony thre was utter complete chaos. A guard was running around aimlessly shouting, 'Celestia is gone?!'
Luna sighed, 'Now what?'
