A year after the end of the Canto-Enclave War, the nascent Northern Guard has settled into a peacekeeping role. They would’ve likely remained silent guardians if not for the machinations of Constellation, who has successfully thrust the entire organization to the front lines of another crusade. The reformed tyrant Sombra has enlisted the aid of the Northern Guard in his mission to reconstitute Princess Amore, the long lost former leader of the Crystal Empire. But when in appears that one of the parties to the war may have a vested interest in the fragments of the princess, the ponies of the Northern Guard are pointed towards the vast unknown of space...
