In the lazy days of mid-April, gentle rays of mottled sunshine filter between the parting clouds of winter; dueling with the soft, life-giving rain that seeks to keep things from warming up too quickly. In times like these, a certain tickling of the nerves between the wings of pegasi, the horns of unicorns, and the sensibilities of staunch earth ponies calls them to their season. For many it is business as usual, but some take actions they may not have otherwise dared to.

Bathed in the late afternoon hues of a vermilion and violet sky, a certain yellow pegasus waits impatiently by the mailbox, fluttering her sun-kissed wings as a cocktail of anticipation and embarrassment churns in her stomach.
