The sunrise let up Metropolis like a warm flame at a campfire and Twilight woke up to Rainbow sitting by her beside until she began to awaken.
"Morning sleepyhead" Dash said smiling.
Twilight smiled, sitting up on her bed with messy hair but didn't really care too much. "Hey Dash how are you?" she asked.
"Oh doing ok. I just finished coming back from New Orleans and met with Luna and Moondancer in an old abandoned mental facility" Dash explained.
"That's odd, I never expected to see Moondancer there" Twilight said getting out of bed.
Dash stood up so her friend could go downstairs and eat breakfast where her other friends were present. Pinkie at cereal while watching cartoons, AJ and Spike did some weapon testing, Rarity could be heard singing in the shower 2 rooms down, and Fluttershy fed some birds on the balcony. Seeing all these people getting along put a smile that spread across Twilight's face.
She sat down next to Pinkie who greeted her with a smile of her own.
"Good morning Twilight! How are you feeling?" Pinkie asked in her normal happy nature.
"Morning Pinkie" Twilight said getting up and making herself a toasted omelette sandwich with pickles, lettuce, and diced tomatoes.
Spike was looking through security cameras to check for any suspicious activity. One particular street corner showed a young beautiful woman approaching Puppet Master and engaging in a make out session. Spike enhanced the image to show Queen Chrysalis and Puppet Master kissing until a man with black reddish hair with a spiked collar choker necklace. He was wearing a t - shirt, a leather jacket, skinny jeans, and boots walked over to them and Spike activated the sound so he could listen in to their conversation.
"So Kate has explained to you about the plan?" he asked them.
Both Puppet and Chrysalis shook their heads yes.
"Good, then we shall proceed with this little project we're going to cook up very soon. We can eliminate those damn heroes from this world if all goes well" he explained further.
"We will not let you down" Chrysalis promised.
The man turned to walk away but looked back up at them. "Don't make promises you can't keep" he quoted as he walked away.
The video ended right there and Spike was awestruck by how this was portrayed.
"You find anything?" Rarity asked walking over with a hot cup of coffee in one hand.
"Well I may have found a person of interest as to who Kate's master is" Spike replied.
"Ooh do tell" Rarity said intrigued, sitting next to Spike as he showed her the video he just finished watching.
Rarity watched it with intent of figuring out who Kate talks to while things happen for some reason.
"Do you known who he is?" Rarity asked.
Spike shook his head no. "Not yet but I'm going to look more into it" he said.
Rarity nodded smiling and let Spike do his work undisturbed.
Meanwhile at the Alaskan mansion somewhere far off from any sign of civilization at all. Inside, Kate was writing down some notes until she walked up to see Kassidy had made herself in.
"Sorry to bother you at this moment but I kinda wanted to ask about when we'll be heading to Metropolis so we can eliminate those losers" Kassidy wondered.
"Patience Miss Black, our time is growing near" Kate replied placing a gentle hand on her cheek.
Kassidy purred then kissed it. Kate smiled at the feeling she was receiving.
Once I send out my team I myself will go after Princess Celestia Kate planned out.
"By the way Kate I made those sticky bombs you asked for" Kassidy said revealing a pack of bombs placed in a sealed container.
"Excellent" Kate said pleased.
Kassidy kissed her hand again then walked away from her with a devious smirk.
The jet whizzed past buildings specially marked with sensors for testing the new wing Spike implemented after what transpired between then and maniac concerning those hair strands grabbing at everything.
"So far so good" Twilight said over the radio.
Spike made a sharp right turn, damaging it slightly but not enough to knock it out of the sky and kept going with the flow.
"The traction needs a little work but other than that come back to base" Twilight said.
"Ok heading back to base" Spike said obediently.
He was about to return back to HQ until a strange reading starting beeping and showing up on the jet's radar screen.
"What the? Twilight I think you need to go check that out" Spike said sending the reading to her.
"Pinkie and I will investigate this. In the meantime you head back ok?" Twilight commanded.
Spike nodded.
Pinkie put on her boots ready to go while Twilight suited up, putting her goggles on initializing all systems to be working properly.
"So where's the strange reading coming from?" Pinkie asked stretching herself out.
Twilight pulled out a holograph of Metropolis and saw the beeping in the heart of the city. "85th and Anna Farrel St"
With a nod, Pinkie dashed out with Twilight following above her; traveling the same speed as she was going. She darted through traffic without incident. Before they knew it, the two super heroines arrived at 85th and Anna Farrel St. All was calm and quiet at least for the moment.
"Hello Masked Matterhorn and Pinkie Flash" a crowd of people greeted them with blank stares and smiles.
Pinkie didn't know how to respond so she just stood there in a defense state in case she had to fight.
"Do not be alarmed the one named Puppet Master doesn't want to fight you he wants to warn you" one person spoke up.
Typical Puppet Master, always using innocent people as a way to get his purpose around Twilight thought.
"What does he want to warn us about?" Pinkie asked.
"Your ultimate demise of course. He wants to tell you how he'll kill you all" another spoke.
"Why doesn't he tell us himself instead of hiding behind innocent civilians?" Twilight asked getting increasingly annoyed.
The crowd started to move closer and Twilight set her repulsors to stun. "Alright Pinkie you ready?" she asked.
Pinkie nodded. She used her speed to punch 2 in the face knocking them to the ground. They went flying into concrete walls as Twilight fired stun repulsors at them, keeping them from attacking and then performed a round house kick into a powerful punch in the face.
The crowd were knocked out clod and invisible puppet strings disappeared.
"So this Puppet Master can also control people?" Pinkie asked confused at what happened to these people.
"Yea he can" Twilight replied, recalling the event when Spike was controlled by that man.
Pinkie put a reassuring hand on her friend's shoulder. Twilight looked over at the speedster and smiled.
"We'll end this I promise" Pinkie said.
"I hope so...for all our sakes" Twilight said back looking up at the ceiling.
Up on the rooftop Puppet Master tipped his hat flashing a sinister smile.
"Puppet come back to me now" Kate commanded.
"On my way Miss Taiga" Puppet replied and returned to Kate.
Sebastian, holding his staff looked at how Puppet dressed compared to him and was very impressed.
"Now all of you will be on your own because I myself will handle Princess Celestia about....urgent business. I would say good luck but I know you'll take out those morons" Kate explained.
"We will" they all said in unison.
Kate smirked and returned back to her black Cadillac, driving off to find Celestia about exposing a secret she knew about. She was determined to bring it out of darkness and into light by any means.
Applejack slid under some flames shooting above her then did a jumping superkick to a dummy, knocking it down to finally reach the finish line.
"Very well done AJ although you could've gone faster" Sebastian said faintly clapping.
The country immediately recognized him and quickly transformed into Mistress Marevelous. She attempted a punch but was stopped by his hand followed by a punch in the gut sending her flying into the glass below.
Rolling around the grass then catching herself, Applejack pulled out a horse shoe then charged at him and this time it hit with a force of a rhino. Sebastian's staff fell out of his hand as it floated up in the air slowly coming back down. Mistress used a rock formation to catapult herself up and catch the staff with a corkscrew back flip.
Sebastian looked up to see Applejack pointing his own staff in front of him.
"Bye" Applejack activated a blue powerful beam of light that vaporized Sebastian until he was nothing more than a pile of ash.
She put the staff down.

Chapter 2 Speed and Power
Pinkie sped through the city in a desperate search for her former best friend Kassidy Black. She went through all possible locations but came up short and stopped in an alleyway. A shrill scream could be heard from down the alley Pinkie was in. She dashed over to see a woman being consumed then absorbed into Kassidy's body as energy. Pinkie tried her best to not throw up after seeing that.
"Ah~ Oh hello Pinkie I almost thought your not going to face me" Kassidy said after absorbing that woman.
"This ends now" Pinkie proclaimed.
Kassidy smirked, bringing out a blade out of her hand. "I couldn't agree more Pinkie" she said turning into her symbiote form.
Letting out a roar, Kassidy made a mad dash but Pinkie moved out of the way quickly and punched her in the face, stomach, even grabbing her arm to perform body kicks. She used her vibrating hand to do a palm strike that sent her flying into a brick wall cracking it.
"Nice moves Pinkie I'm impressed but now it's my turn" Kassidy got up and dusted off potential damage.
Pinkie got in a fighting stance but wasn't ready for those sharp claws that scratched part of her outfit then pinning her to a wall hard licking her neck.
"I am going to enjoy consuming you" Kassidy said.
Symbiotic tentacles pulled Pinkie's leg closer to Scream but a loud noise interrupted the process and Kassidy screamed in pain while covering her ears.
Pinkie got up and began to circle her, charging herself for an attack.
"You fool!" Kassidy yelled out.
For a split second Pinkie came rushing at her full speed for a super speed induced punch knocking Scream into a wall that she went through and hitting a sewer grate. Kassidy didn't have time to recover as Pinkie dashed after her, hitting the symbiote with quick attacks, she performed a jumping round house kick disorienting Kassidy for a brief second then doing another round house.
Kassidy stumbled backwards but landed on all fours revealing her face.
"You damn speedster! I never liked the fact you had super powers because once you find out who you really are, all doubt will go out the window" Kassidy explained clearly pissed off.
"Until that day comes I will NEVER stop!" Pinkie retorted putting one hand over her heart.
Kassidy changed back to her symbiote form grinning madly.
You can do this Pinkie she told herself.
Kassidy came running at her full speed hoping this time she could consume her, Pinkie thrust kicked her while Kassidy was airborne only knocking her down.
She sweeped her and tried to stab the speedster but Pinkie moved quickly to notice Kassidy hitting a rock, resulting in head trauma and possible a concussion.
"I'm sorry Kassidy but I can't have that monster making every decision for you" Pinkie said, opening a vial that sucked the symbiote out and sealed it shut.
When that was done, she picked up her best friend and walked out from the sewers into city streets. Applejack just so happened to notice Pinkie having Kassidy on her shoulder and a vial of Scream symbiote sealed in one hand.
"You ok?" Applejack asked.
Pinkie only nodded and cuffed Kassidy as she noticed Sebastian's ash pile on the street as well.
"So I see you took out Julianna's husband?" Pinkie assumed.
"Mhm and now I need to find that slippery rat" Applejack said making a fist and gritting her teeth.
The last time Julianna tried to fight AJ she was almost her servant if Dash didn't stop her but this time was different.
A shadow warrior appeared with several others right behind it as they surrounded the two heroines.
"So the great Mistress Marevelous is in my grasp and you also brought your speedster friend" Julianna said stepping out from a cloud of smoke.
"Should've known you would hide like a coward!" Applejack shouted.
Julianna smirked. The warriors went to attack them but Pinkie rushed them, beating them up with no regrets at all which was odd for AJ but she got a running start, using a wall for support and superman punched Julianna knocking her on the ground.
Pinkie joined her friend's side as she saw Julianna slowly get to her feet.
"This is...." Julianna got cut off by a horseshoe to the face that put her to sleep.
"Now you and Sebastian can be together" Applejack said putting the horseshoe away.
That made Pinkie giggle.

Puppet Master wrapped some strings around Twilight's neck and flinged her into a open window, crashing into a nearby wall back first.
"Seems like your not good at this are you Matterhorn?" Puppet said taking off his hat showing off his slicked back short black hair.
Twilight used most of her strength to help her stand upright and fired a energy repulsor blast but Puppet dodged it and performed a quick palm strike attack backing Twilight a bit before punching her in the face resulting in having a black eye and broken goggles. Another punch was coming and this time Twilight grabbed his hand and twisted it then kicked him in the stomach 3 times. Puppet got down on one knee to witness a repulsor blast hit him, sending him flying through 4 office buildings and on to city streets.
Getting up quickly Pinkie circled him with her speed and Puppet didn't know what to do. As he was being distracted by the speedster, Applejack hurled a horseshoe at him, hitting his face sending him barreling backwards then back on the pavement knocked out cold.
Twilight flew down taking off her broken goggles and dropping them on the ground next to Puppet. "Good job you guys I don't think he'll ever wake up" Twilight said spitting out a bit of blood from her mouth.
"No problem Twilight we're your teammates" Pinkie said smiling.
"I'll cuff em. Y'all go see if Rarity needs some additional back up" Applejack commanded.
Pinkie and Twilight nodded then sped off to find Radiance aka Rarity.
Starlight fired a magical beam at Rarity who used a reflective shield to protect from the blast. She increased the tempo and Rarity could see cracks starting to form, a certain speedster scooped her up before Starlight could end her life.
"Pinkie! Thank you for the assistance darling" Rarity said as her friend stopped to let her down.
"Rarity how do you suppose we take her down?" Twilight asked, being open to any suggestions.
"I was hoping that Pinkie could rush her while I prepare for a new set of moves, once we have her dizzy Twilight will administer the final blow" Rarity explained.
"That could work" Pinkie said.
"Let's do it" Twilight proclaimed activating her stun repulsors.
Meanwhile, a guard went through a door as Kate walked in looking around to see where Celestia could be. Using her eyes she spotted Tia with her long sword with a sun design on it.
"And so we meet Princess Celestia" Kate began to say bringing out her twin daggers laced with fresh blood from the guards that tried to stop her.
Celestia said nothing just had a pissed off face giving a signal to Kate that the time for talking was over. Kate rushed her, engaging in a dagger/sword clash and flip kicked Tia into the air then kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying into the foyer as she skid on tile and granite as guards tried fighting off Kate but using her eyes caused a massive shockwave blowing them out of existence. The mere power Kate had in her eyes terrified Tia but she knew that she had to defend Metropolis with her life if need be.
"Hrrah!" Tia yelled slashing her sword at Kate but was blocked by her daggers.
She chanted a spell in Latin that unleashed a demon uppercutting Celestia through the rooftop then having her plummet 85ft down, creating a small earthquake that could be heard for miles. Kate walked out the castle home to the source of the explosion and grabbed Celestia by the collar.
"I expected more from you Tia...seems that I was wrong. No matter, you'll still be of use to me in the long run" Kate said teleporting herself and Celestia out of Metropolis.
Twilight froze Starlight's hands so she couldn't perform anymore magical blasts and Rarity did a thrust kick knocking Glimmer out cold.
"Woohoo! We did it!" Pinkie said excited and jumping up and down.
Twilight and Rarity laughed. But soon stopped as they looked out to see a growing thunderstorm.
I hope Dash doesn't let her anger take control and actually kill Gilda Rarity hoped for.

Thunder clouds rolled in as Dash hit a lightning punch to Gilda's face as she began to fall down, not before she dragged Dash with her causing a crater to form near the highway having both girls on the ground struggling to stand.
"Had enough Dashie?" Gilda asked breathing heavily.
"I'm just getting started" Dash said, rushing her into a body kick then a shot in the kidneys.
Gilda coughed up blood after that shot and feel to her knees twitching then looking up to see Dash knee her in the face knocking Gilda out cold.
"Dash do you need any-oh I see you already had it handled" Applejack said running over to her.
Rainbow was grateful. "Did Rarity take care of Starlight?" she asked.
"Yea she did" Applejack responded.
"Good cause we need to find Chrysalis and hopefully Celestia in that regard" Dash said.
A radio feedback came from Pinkie's transmission that Twilight transferred to hers to listen.
"Power Heroes it is I Kate Taiga we may have met before and I just wanted to tell you that Tia is under my care, I wish you all the best" Kate said.
Everyone was either stunned or pissed off which was Applejack, Twilight, and Rainbow Dash.
"That bitch is going down!" Dash said getting angry.
All agreed.
Nightshade avoided another punch from Fluttershy but another one hit home as she slammed into a wall breaking her spine in 4 places, paralyzing her. She let out a blood curdling scream before Shy adding one last punch that shut her up. Twilight and the others waked up and saw what happened and Shy smiled nervously messing with her index fingers while also looking down in shame.
"Look on the bright side at least we don't have to deal with her anymore" Dash said.
"Anyway Shy did Chrysalis happen to pass by?" Applejack asked.
"Yea I did but she's not going anywhere" Shy said pointing to an already knocked out Chrysalis courtesy of Fluttershy.
"Good job Shy...again" Dash said cuffing Chrysalis.
Once the police left with the so called 'Dangerous Six' came out his jet to pick up the heroes before flying away on their way back to HQ. All exchanged smiles and high fives except Twilight who just stared outside looking at the city she and her friends must be protect with their lives. After hearing what Kate said, she felt like even though they won the battle, in the back of her mind war was coming fast.
Princess Celestia wherever you are please let us know that your safe and sound Twilight placed her hand on the glass closing her eyes.
"Unf!" Celestia fell to the hard concrete floor she was bind by chains around her wrists and ankles.
Kate circled Tia as a way to intimidate her but so far it wasn't working. She gave her one hand punch that resulting in broken jaw born and 4 loose teeth dropping on the ground.
"If your trying to force me to be a part of your sick little game then I'm sorry to disappoint you" Celestia said standing up a bit.
Kate said nothing and slammed her face into pavement. "I don't care I just need you to tell the truth and maybe you'll walk out alive"
"I do believe that Solar Flare is a part of me but getting her to come out is a tall order" Tia expressed.
That was something Kate didn't want to hear. She didn't care how bad this was, all she wanted was for Celestia to tell her how to awaken Solar Flare so she can destroy Metropolis and those heroes in the process.
"Awakening something like this can help me take out those misfits you have playing heroes" Kate said.
Celestia's mouth was bloody but it turned into a broken smile as blood dripped down. "They are the strongest set of heroes this world has ever known" she proclaimed.
A kick across the face sent Celestia's face to have a bad bruise and fall over to the side, looking up as Kate pressed her foot on Tia's larynx and started to crush her out of anger. The phone rang that took Kate's attention away so she could answer it.
"Yes master?" Kate asked holding her phone close to her left ear.
"I do hope that you breaking Celestia is going rather smoothly" he said.
"Almost master she proves to be more difficult than originally anticipated" Kate said disappointed that she wasn't finding the results her master was looking for.
"No matter, keep up with your research and keep me posted about any findings" her master said sternly and hanging up the phone.
Kate put the phone down then turned to a battered bruised Celestia who was laying on her side panting from being in so much pain courtesy of Kate.
Kate walked over to her and grabbed her by the neck almost breaking the larynx. "I'm going to ask you again Celestia: How do I bring Solar Flare and do not lie to me because then I'll force you by breaking more of your bones" she threatened.
"Ok the way to bring out Solar Flare is by finding the dark spell book then reading an incantation labeled Beast Darkness once that has been used you'd have Solar Flare to do your sinister dirty work" Celestia explained gritting her teeth.
"And where do I find this dark spell book?" Kate questioned.
"It's deep within a museum in Washington D.C. but you'll never get past security" Celestia continued to say, doubting Kate's chances of getting that book.
She loved a challenge if the person who challenges her doubts Taiga at the same time. Kate smirked, leaving the basement with Celestia still on the ground.
That book will be mine and no one is going to stop me Kate got in her car then drove away on a mission for that spell book.
