Author's Note
Welp, pt.2
Hopefully it goes well.
Justice Must Be Served.
To all live angles, this is Justice. I am calling on all of you for assistance, and for intelligence. Half of Heaven is destroyed due to the fall of the Limbo plain and the misbalance of the Afterlife realm. Life also has died during the siege of Limbo, and the taking of the castle Death once had. She was ambushed by an unknown character with the looks of disorder and grotesqueness. Although he has disappeared recently with his corrupted army. No human souls have entered Heaven, but neither Hell, and we believe Satan is becoming restless. He and Heaven has had this alliance for 3 million years. We do not want Armageddon to happen a third time. Please, any angles that are still alive, and willing to talk, come back to Heaven.
Astraea sat in her seat as she finished her letter. And with a snap of her fingers, she sent the letter to all the angles she knows. She sighed and pinched her nose under her hood.
"Dam angles...why did you leave in the first place?"
Does it have to do with the alliance? Or maybe the fall of Remorel? No wait, he was banished wasn't he? Then why did they all leave...
Astraea raised her arms and stretched, sighed when she popped her back. Her angelic wings furled in delight as they too popped the stress out.
Dam, I really need a massage or something...
She got up from her seat and exited her room.
She looked outside to the ruined halls of The High Devine Castle, half of it was gone entirely.
Although she was used to the sight now, it still creeped her out with how desolate it was. There used to be so many angles...
Now its all in ruin, destroyed by the unholy Undead that plagued the Heavens.
She remembers crying, for the sake of her fallen kin, now she just stares into the empty homes of those angles she once knew.
Humans seemed to know death better than any creature, how they understood it and accepted its inevitable grip astounded her.
She hummed a tune that humans usually recited for their fallen comrades. Although this particular poem was during one of the great World Wars.
"Lay me dun in the caul caul groon
Whaur afor monie mair huv gaun
When they come a wull staun ma groon. Staun my groon, al nae be afraid
Thoughts awe hame tak awa ma fear. Sweat and bluid hide ma veil awe tears
Ains a year say a prayer faur me. Close yir een an remember me

As she hummed, she could hear the slight flapping of wings in the distance.
She has visitors.
Astraea turned around to see her last two kin still in Heaven, Utzul (Willpower), and Chetzumie (Wisdom). They landed only a few feet away from her.
"Utzul? I thought you were looking for Death?" Astraea asked in a voice that defined emptiness.
"We did, and we have located him. But Chetzumie said it was unwise to attack him. Saying it would do more harm than good." Utzul said as he handed her a scroll.
Chetzumie nodded wordlessly.
Astraea looked at Chetzumie angrily "I was never one to question your wisdom, Cheeto, but have you not seen what he did to Earth? What he did to Selina? How he let that reached Undead army march on Heaven!?"
Chetzumie just frowned, he looked at Utzul for help.
"You do realize that Selina also made some bad calls to right? She was the one who blamed Remorel-"
"Death, we do not mention his name here."
"He was once an Angel, and I would rather call him by his name rather than his title Astraea."
"HE DESTROYED HEAVEN! HOW CAN YOU EVEN STILL RESPECT SUCH A BEING!?"
"Because he never lied, and he wasn't the one who destroyed Heaven."
Astraea stood in silence.
Utzul walked closer to Astraea and put a hand on her shoulder "See? And it's true. He wouldn't attack his home, and he even had a truce with Heaven before Selina went on a manhunt for him."
Astraea looked up at Utzul "But then why did Selina wanted him dead?"
"Because she never believed him. That 'More-Souls-Are-Entering-Hell' scandal is what made Selina want to kill Remorel."
That made Astraea furious.
"Believed? You wanted her to believe that monster? He was sending more innocent souls to Hell than any other deity! And it's fact! We have the numbers!"
"But I just said-"
Before Utzul finished, Astraea opened and looked through the scroll once, then burned it.
"I'm going to finish what Selina started."
And at that, she flew away from Utzul and Chetzumie, leaving them alone amidst the ruins.
Utzul sighed "She's a hothead, a lot like Selina eh Cheeto? Siblings are alot alike in every realm, no matter how holy or unholy."
Chetzumie only grunted in approval.
"Alright old man, lets go find some more Angels. We need to clean this place up."
Astraea walked along the celestial plane of earth, or what's left of it. As she gazed up at the stars looking for the location the scroll specified.
Her search lasted almost 7 hours human time, until she finally saw the dimension that would lead her to Death.
She got up from her position and said two words in her own magical language. "Frela Astrodoth."
She vanished in a swirl of blue stardust, only to reappear in water.
It was calm, and it looked so much better than Earths water, almost comparable to Heaven.
Did I miss something? Did I even leave Heaven? She thought.
But once she rose from the water and broke the surface, she realized she was far from home.
The sky was clear, it felt nice, and the magic here was giving her a full charge of energy. It was like magic here was a common matter in this world.
Guess I should start looking for Death, his stench will be easy to find...
She looked around for the nearest beach, and started to swim to it. Once on land, she shook the water off, and took out her sword.
A sleek, one-handed longsword.
Scanning the area, she saw a forest that had trees with dark leaves, but other than that, she deemed it clear for flight. And not detecting anything dangerous other than an occasional wolf.
She pumped her wings and sprang into the air, quickly zooming past the treetops.
As she flew, she realized how bright this world was. The color was almost pastel, and cartoonish. But she shook it off as her mind playing tricks after her spell. It was a relatively new spell she created.
In the distance, Astraea saw what looked like a village. So she stopped mid-flight and stealthily landed on the ground. Quickly regaining her footing and sprinting through the woods with ease.
Once she saw the first building, she took more cautious steps. But once she saw the state it was in, she quickened her pace.
What she saw, made her want to cry.
Bodies of unidentifiable creatures lay strewn out in the dirt, body parts along the buildings decaying with time, the building themselves had traces of fire on them.
Her grip around her sword tightened.
"Remorel...I will have your head..."
In the distance, in the shadows of the woods, a green orb watches the Angel from a distance.
A childish voice speaks to itself.
"Another one? Hmmm...she has a lot of anger in her...I might be able to corrupt her somehow..."
Another voice, more higher pitched, responded.
"This isn't like the last one, this one has holy power within her, like the sisters. But if we can, nothing will stop us from achieving our goal."
"Nothing..."
Both voices ceased, the orb disappears from view as Astraea walks in the ruins of Hallow Shades.
Astraea touched the blood of the creatures that lay scattered among the ground. She identified them as pony-like, almost reminding her of a little girls cartoon. But these ones had fangs, so she assumed that there are other types of pony here, she just didn't know what kind or how many there are.
But a vast majority of the ponies in the village were small, like they were hardly old enough to know what killing is. Which only made her angrier.
She looked at the sky, almost nighttime.
She took back to the skies, and looked farther in the distance with her keen vision.
Astraea saw a castle to the northwest, that glowed a small aurora of yellow, blue, and a tint of black.
She didn't know what was making the yellow and blue tint glow. But she knew all too well what the black tint was.
"Remorel..."
She flapped her wings once and quickly headed strait to the castle, but as she got closer, she realized just how massive the place was.
It was an entire city, the castle taking only 25% of the total size. And the rest was residential or business.
She landed on a roof and gawked at what she saw.
Ponies, ponies everywhere...
She had to contain her overwhelming excitement and to keep silent from saying "Awwww! How ADORABLE!"
Astraea could see many forms of these ponies.
Some with horns, Unicorns.
Some with wings, assuming Pegasus.
Some had nothing, and just looked like an ordinary pony.
She even saw some of the fanged ones roaming around.
The moon was out now.
She didn't know any cloaking magic, but she could easily blend in the shadows and move swiftly.
She could feel Remorel's magic lingering toward the castle, along with something less prevalent but still powerful.
She stealthily passed two lazy guards who were obviously half asleep, climbed up the marble steps, and waited for a pony to exit the castle doors so she could enter.
It took a half hours until she saw a pony exiting the castle, looked like a maid due to her outfit.
"Wow...kind of skimpy even if it is a pony..."
She stuck to the walls as she advanced into the castle, quickly flying up towards the beams that supported the roof high above everybody, and so she can still be out of sight.
She walked slowly towards the area with the most concentrated magic, somewhere behind the thrones in some rooms.
She checked to see if there was patrols, and surprisingly no.
Astraea glided down to the door and opened it.
She peeked in and saw two more ponies, one blue and one white.
They both had wings and a horn, and both are bigger than the ponies outside the castle.
"Something tells me these ponies are very important here.."
What caught her off guard was their manes, flowing effortlessly and with such colors.
"Dear sister, when is Remorel coming down for tea?" The blue one asked.
Astraea's eyes widened a bit.
"They know him? How and why?" Astraea thought to herself.
As if on cue, Remorel walked through the backdoor, sitting across the table from both ponies.
"Hello Celestia, Luna, how are you both this fine night?"
"The names makes sense, but why the hell are they talking to him? And why does he sound so different..?"
As she remembers, Remorel's voice was deep and monotone. But, now it was calmer and much more normalized. Almost humanlike.
"We are good thank you. We have called you down here to spend some time with us." Luna spoke with a soft blush and a smile.
"Indeed, we hardly see each other now that we have to manage the bat ponies needs. But they will be better soon, I promise." Celestia said as she took a sip of her tea.
Astraea gazed at Remorel, he was never this nice. So what makes a difference now?
"That's always good to hear. I never really did apologize to them in the first place for not protecting Hallow Shades in time before the Undead invasion..." Remorel folded his bony hands.
"Wait...that village wasn't his doing? And the Undead attacked here as well?" Astraea tried to wrap her head around this, but she couldn't believe it one bit.
"We both know you tried, Luna even saw you trying to save the little ones..." Celestia broke her mask and frowned a bit.
"I could've saved more if it wasn't for them taking half the village into that cave then slaughtering them..." Remorel looked down, not a drop of tea was out of his cup since he sat down.
"But we still saved some, that better than them wiping out an entire sub-species. Right?" Luna tried to cheer Remorel up.
"I suppose so, at least they all have families still intact. And they were willing to take any orphans." Remorel finally took the tea cup and drank some of his tea.
His eyes widened. "Where did you find this? This is Earl Gray."
Celestia chuckled "It so happens to be Luna's favorite. She decided to share some with us from her horde of drinks and treats."
"H-hey at least I don't eat it all in one go Tia!"
Celestia's eyes widened in dramatic shock "A-at least I don't have a stockpile!"
They started bickering as Remorel chuckled.
Astraea couldn't believe it, he was chuckling. He was interacting, he was not Death. And yet...
She went cold, seeing Remorel's eyes stare strait at her. He was still drinking some tea.
She froze, unsure of what to do.
He nodded to come over.
As she got up and pushed the door open, Celestia and Luna instantly hushed.
Remorel laid is cup of tea down onto the plate, got up, and looked at Astraea.
"So...if it isn't the Angel of Justice herself."
Luna and Celestia stared, while Remorel kept narrowing his eyes.
"Y-yes...I am the Angel of Justice. My name is Astraea."
