“Hmmm…”
She hated this job, so much. It was tedious, boring and the small grey unicorn thought ‘A total waste of her time.’ But it had to be done, Mags wasn’t well known for being the tidiest pony. Her little room in the house she shared with her parents was small sure, but she could fit everything she wanted in there with some overspill out into the barn.
Bed a total mess? Check. Random doohickeys strewn about all over the place? Check. She sighed, her horn glowing slightly as she noticed something tucked under the foot of her bed that she yanked out and brought up to her muzzle to inspect. Metal, round…hole in the middle. Plunger housing? Some sort of part she had pulled from somewhere and clearly forgotten about. It hit the ground with a satisfying thunk as she callously ceased her levitation spell and kicked it back under the bed with her hoof.
Everything was going to be such a chore to deal with, like it always was. What to deal with first? The bed? All the random rubbish all over the place? She figured if she was going to start anywhere it might as well be with the biggest and most obvious thing right in front of her, leaning up against the wall like a large wooden monolith. The giant bookcase obviously needed sorting first, It was a job she had been putting off since the last time she had bothered to tidy anything up.
“Okay, what have we got?” What had she got? A lot of rubbish is what she had got. Years of collecting random books had clearly gotten out of hand, the poor bookcase was heavily weighted down with all those heavy manuals and reference guides she had kept a hold of. Being the town fixer meant she had to know most things offhoof, and if she didn’t at least she could fall back on her books to look something up if she needed. She gingerly extended a hoof on the bottom left of the lowest shelf and gently worked a few books out to glance at their titles. Things like Hob Repair 101: How To Keep Your Oven Perfect and A Pony’s Guide To Carriage Repair met her eyes. She sighed slightly looking over them, she knew she had to start somewhere but she couldn’t lose these, they always came in handy, ponies stoves were always breaking and carriages were just so much a part of life she was always fixing them. She gently pushed them back into place and continued down the row, her head leaned low so her eyes were level to inspect the spines.
All of them useful! ‘Dammit! I need to get rid of something!’ She was getting more and more peeved as she worked her way along the shelf. Some of the book had to go, there was no getting out of it this time, she had an order of new books for even more repair reference guides coming soon, the space was desperately needed. Finally she got to the end, and pulled out what was a very thick book, a little flutter of hope made her heart jump as she finally got to one she could get rid of!
For some reason the grey unicorn couldn’t place this one, it was very old. Almost more like a tome than a book, heavily bound and very weighty. She had a little trouble keeping it steady as she pulled it from its shelf, with a thick layer of dust coming after it making her cough and splutter as she finally managed to free it from the shelf.
Mags sat on her bed and opened the cover, noticing a small slip fall as she did from a front compartment. Ah…
It was a library book, clearly well overdue its return. She chucked to herself, thinking how astute the princess was with her loans, she must have been so busy with her new duties that she was forgetting to chase up her books. Mags often borrowed a book or two from the Ponyville library, Twilight had a lot more room for books than she did, and often she had guides for things where Mags only had to fix a one-off problem, so keeping the book permanently wasn’t required. Usually though if she was so much as a day late there was a rapping at her door, usually followed by “Uh, somepony else might need it you know!” as Twilight would take the book back and huff away for the umpteenth time carrying the book back to its home.
Not this one though, it had clearly been forgotten, Mags guessed because nopony else needed it, not even the princess. Why did she even have it anyway? She turned a few more pages with her hooves. Incantations, spells and even a hex or two appeared on each page as she leafed through. It was all fairly tame stuff however, and then one spell caught her eye.

That, that was why she had the book. Even though the Apple family were still big fans of traditional carts with wooden wheels they had branched out and gotten a few farming implements that had big rubber wheels instead of the old heavy wooden ones. Of course one day Big Mac had gotten slightly overzealous with his yolk and pulled one over a particularly pointy rock which followed a loud BANG and a very flat tyre. With her standard “I’m not sure, but I’ll look into it.” Mags had gone straight to the library, and the princess had within minutes whizzed the book out for her, suggesting the spell. Once the air had gone back in and the tyre patched up all was well…and Mags had gone straight home, dumped the book in her bookshelf and forgot all about it! Typical!
She remembered the spell vividly, it had taken her a little while to learn, and it probably helped it had been on something so small. She had another look at it, narrowing her eyes on the instructions. It could clearly be applied to just about anything that needed air in it. She remembered when she was casting it, little twinges travelling up her horn as she concentrated on that tyre and pumping it back up. It was probably the first spell in a long while that had actually felt a little nice to cast. She was totally transfixed on how quickly it had become so large…so plump…so full of air again. She had wondered at the time if she could perhaps have a little fun with it later, but had quickly forgotten about it after a day of work.
A very devious thought crossed her brain, followed by a little giggle from her lips as she suddenly had an idea. Would it work? I mean clearly the spell worked on anything that needed air in it, and she was feeling a little flat right now. Twilight was out of town on one of her many adventures again, she wouldn’t miss the book for a little while longer. Mags put the book down and rested both hooves on her chin thinking as she sat upright on the bed. Could she? Well there was only one way to find out…
Her horn started to glow a little as she recalled the spell, it was simple enough, but then the last time she used it, it was only on a little rubber wheel. She was hoping this time it could do a little more than just pump a wheel up, and how well it could be adapted to pump up a pony...
It was a little difficult at first, the spell was meant to be directed at other things, not yourself. Once Mags had shifted its direction a little she suddenly felt her body start to plump out, not a lot at first but still sitting upright she glanced down at her belly. It was obviously starting to get a bloated as the spell began to fill her insides with air, she watched as her already overly-generous gut started to push outwards from her body. She took one of her hooves and pressed against it, feeling how it was dealing with taking on all the air that was making her expand almost every second. She giggled slightly, it was like she had a huge air pump hooked directly to her mouth. She could feel herself getting fuller and fuller with air as each second passed.
The next little fun thought she had was would her growing body support her? Before it was too late she decided to shift her position a little, the small grey pony moved herself back more central to her bed and rather than sitting upright, positioned herself so she was now lying on that growing stomach that was expanding quickly under her. It was filling fast, her belly was now the size of a very over-inflated beach ball. As she lay on it she felt it again with her hooves, despite being full of nothing but air it clearly was a well-designed spell, she felt well supported by her overblown stomach that was continuing to expand beneath her. Looking down it was getting bigger and bigger by the second, the spell filling her with air as she grew larger and larger.
‘I wonder how big I can get?’ Was the next thought – the spell didn’t seem to have a limit, it would keep filling whatever it was filling until the it came to its end. She was finding that if she concentrated a little harder she felt the rush of air inside her start to get more intense, a feeling that was only making it more enjoyable as she kept on getting bigger and bigger.
The spell seemed quite flexible, a little experimentation meant that she was finding new ways to manipulate the air that was already inside her. The grey unicorn started to have a little fun pushing the air around, she wanted to get as large as she could inside the room and figured while a big belly was great, she could even it out a little and force some of that air behind her…
There was a sudden fwoomph as two huge cheeks came into view as a huge amount of air was pushed back out of her belly and into her butt. Mags squeaked slightly at the sudden sensation as all that air quickly moved to her rear. Her stomach sagged slightly as a large portion of air it had been holding left it, but quickly started to fill again as she continued to cast the spell.
The blimpy grey unicorn had very rapidly filled her little room, the edges of her belly and rear were now starting to push into the four walls that surrounded her. She knew it was time to stop but she was enjoying herself so much. She could go a little bigger right? The walls were very sturdy (or so she thought). They could take a little blimped pony pushing into them. In fact the squeezing might even be fun. Mags blushed slightly as she started to feel her body really press into those walls and the surrounding things in her room, every little object that was pressing against her massive self was starting to give intense little feelings of pleasure which was only spurring her on. She concentrated the spell harder, wanting her body to be bigger and bigger as she started to hear little creaks from her rear as it pressed against the back wall, and her belly into the bed underneath her.
It was getting hard to tell just how big she was getting, the room had started to go dark as her body had forced its way outwards and covered the only window in the room. A problem quickly solved as there was a very distinct CRACK followed by a POP as the window completely left its frame as her body searched for more space to continue its rapid growth. With the window popping out she really did think it was time to stop now, she could hear the walls creaking as they tried to contain the now huge pony within them. A struggle it was looking like they were about to lose if she got any larger than she was.
‘Time to stop…’ she thought, but something wasn’t quite right – the bloated mare was trying her hardest to stop all that air filling her, but for some reason it was still rushing air into her belly and butt, growing larger as she heard the walls really starting to creak. At first there was a little panic as she tried to reverse it, no matter what she did the spell didn’t seem to want to stop itself. She had stopped casting completely now and still was growing larger, but why? She had no idea…until she remembered reading that one passage…
…Once the object has reached its optimum size, the spell will cease…
How could she have missed that? Of course she assumed stopping casting would just end it, practically every other spell worked that way. Not this one though. What was her‘optimum size’? Apparently not where she was now, or it would have stopped. She wondered just how big she was going to get before the spell finally decided she was blimpy enough and stopped filling her massive belly and rear with air.
Mags had no idea what to do, the spell just continued to work itself in expanding her to a rapidly ridiculous size. She could do little as she felt her body press harder and harder against the walls of her bedroom, every spare nook and cranny being taken up by her huge inflated body. The walls were pushing against her, trying so hard to contain all that blimpy rubbery flesh but were failing fast. There was a cracking noise as the wall that looked outside of her house started to buckle under the pressure, huge lines starting to appear around the edge as her ever expanding body continued to search for more and more space as she kept on growing larger and larger. ‘Any second now…I’ll have to explain to mum and dad later…’ She thought, pretty sure of what was going to happen next.
If anypony had been outside it would have been an incredible sight to behold. Not only did the wall come away from the house, but with so much extra room now to fill out the entire outer wall of her bedroom was nearly catapulted the full length of the garden as her body quickly and eagerly pushed out into the new space, coming to rest with a huge CRASH as a few tones of bricks and mortar came to rest on the grass. The grey unicorn breathed a huge sigh of relief as she no longer felt constrained by her prison that had been forcing her to keep to its four walls, as she felt the cool breeze outside lick the side of her body that had now managed to push itself outside the house due to the absence of the wall holding her in.
The poor unicorn was still somewhat trapped though, despite now having one side of her huge self revealed for the entire world to see. ‘I need to get free…’ The thought crossed her mind, but how? How on Equestria could she free herself? She had to do it before it was too late, she was still getting larger and larger and she knew before long she would be totally wedged again with little room to spare as one side of her would just bloat out uncontrollably from the remains of her room.
She didn’t have much in the way of movement, but she could wobble herself about and she decided that was the only way she was getting out. Slowly at first but with wiggles of her legs and a gentle rocking of her whole body she started to move out of the now destroyed room. Inch by inch she was starting to move herself outwards from the house, just a little at first but more rocks meant more motion. If she had been a big smaller it would have looked like bouncing but her size meant that she was wobbling very rapidly to free herself completely.
All her effort now going into getting out the wobbles were becoming fastest and faster as she worked her body like a jackhammer to free it from the room. At first she felt a slightly reduced press against the sides that were still trapped, her body was beginning to jiggle out. More and more she felt the cool breeze of the summer air from the outside cover more of her incredibly huge body that was still getting bigger. She had wanted to be big, but now she was probably getting near to the size of the house that had kept her contained, most of the air still rushing in to what had been freed already.
The overblown pony continued to wiggle herself free, it seemed to be working. Each little movement slowly making her move along what was left of her room. Sunlight suddenly appeared before the overblown ponies eyes as she inched her way closer and closer to freedom. She was very nearly out, and all she could do now was brace herself for the shift that she knew was coming when the rest of her finally made it out into the back yard.
Finally she was free, the last of her inflated belly and the rest of her squeaking out from the walls. It wasn’t the noise she was quite expecting though, as finally her huge body and rear was freed from the house. A WWOOORRRRBBBBBBB would probably be the best way to describe it, as her stomach and rear flexed themselves back to a more natural and no longer confined shape. The grey unicorn breathed another sigh of relief, she was finally free and no longer feeling confined by those walls that had kept her trapped, no longer worried she would demolish the entire house…just her own room…
Mags settled somewhat, content in her size. She was sure nopony else had reached anything quite like this before as she tried to survey all that grey flesh that was now taking up a large portion of the garden. Her rear had ballooned, hugely, to an amazing size as she had earlier gently nudged the spell to put most of the air there, and now her body was free it was still doing so. Her cheeks had started to rise slightly over her head, giggling to herself the huge bloaty mare engaged her horn once again – she knew it could be much bigger, and the spell didn’t seem like it was going to stop anytime soon.
There was a FWOOOSSSHHHHHH as a huge portion of the air was shifted yet again on a grander scale, she easily felt them expand as her stomach reduced its own size slightly. Her two huge cheeks were now at least three times as big as the rest of her, and even though there was little in the yard for her to now be brushing up against Mags giggled slightly as she felt her rear right cheek plant itself firmly on the door of the barn.
Even though her hooves were bloated and fat she could still give herself a little rub just to get a nice feeling of her size, blushing slightly as she felt around her stomach. It was an almost endless sea of grey flesh that was stretching out in front of her, and even though she could only just turn her head slightly she could see an even larger bloated rear that was now towering above her head.
Still the spell worked, it seemed to know she wasn’t anywhere near maximum capacity just yet and it was finding new ways to pump the now house-sized unicorn even larger. With a booty that seemed to be doing well taking in so much her little head was now becoming enveloped by her neck slightly, it puffing out into a ring that was surrounding her every second as the spell carried on its duty.
‘I must be at capacity now, nearly? I can’t get much bigger…I’ll end up popping!’ the thought entering her brain and somewhat worrying her, until she remembered the spell. Capacity, she knew it would stop at capacity…so she can’t be there yet. She let her head sink into her body slightly and grinned, and then a look of perplexity crossed her face. All this time one of the main things she had felt was the ground beneath her, but that feeling was quickly disappearing, no longer able to feel the soft grass against the underside of her belly. With her size it was becoming harder and harder to move her head but she could no longer see the house in front of her as well. Perplexion had turned to panic as the obvious but a thought she could quite believe entered her head. ‘Am….am I floating?’
Slowly, but gaining pace as the unicorn continued to grow she had indeed started to float. Her body was so big, so enormous and so full of air that she had gracefully lifted off the ground and was now rising up amongst the clouds. There was nothing now that could keep her size contained, nothing that would stop her from becoming the hugest, blimpiest mare that Equestria had ever seen.
She had gotten so big so fast, the whole experience had seemed like a blur for her. Spells really do work wonders, and she had been worked on by the spell so quickly. She was resembling a pony less and less and more and more one of those huge airships often seen docked in Canterlot. An endless supply of grey mare that continued to blimp up. There was one final thing she felt she had to do before giving in completely, as her mind was quickly being overtaken by her lust for her size. With her last ounce of control she performed the shift of air one more time.
There was a moan this time as she felt her huge body move and sway as her rear bloated up yet again. This one really pushed it over the edge, as she gasped and panted feeling all that air enter her rear end. The massive, monumental pony had really done it. Her imposing rear was tremendous, each cheek the size of just one of the airships that often graced the skies. Blimp wouldn’t do her justice to describe her.
The final push for the huge cheeks finally did it, feeling the air that had been entering her body for so long finally dissipate Mags breathed easy. She could see nothing but mountains before her, having risen up to a fair height but now at a stable point in the air. Every part of her had just ballooned with the spell. Her fat cheeks on her face were chubby and round, her neck had become like an overblown life saver ring that sat around her head full of air. Her belly was amazing, huge and fat like the rest of her but nothing could compare to the size of her cheeks that bobbed along in the air gracefully behind her. She wiggled her over-inflated hooves and struggled to do so, all of her so full and so big that there was little she could do, her whole body had become locked in a stretched shape that kept her afloat.
She was completely satisfied, and decided to just enjoy herself while she could. The air had stopped rushing in but little was escaping, it would be days, perhaps weeks before she was her normal self again. All that work would have to wait.
She was blushing hard, and grinning too. Her body had really become accustomed to her new huge size and was filling her to the brim with nearly endless amounts of dopamine that was causing her to feel nothing but pleasure from all over her body. ‘I love this spell…’ was one of the final thoughts that she managed before she started to drift off into an almost euphoric state of pleasure, her huge blimpy frame blissfully floating through the clouds.
