Prolgue
In the beginning, before Humans forgot us, we were there. “We” being the gods of their world, the ones who now monitor the portals between Earth and other dimensions. If we had been wiser, more aware of how evil and good would affect affect humankind, we would have not let other worlds interact with them. We were wrong to do so, for you see, after two thousand years of contact between humans and other worlds, a war broke out. Two thousand years of evil making its way into the hearts of man, caused a group of men, women, and evil creatures to start pushing for mans right to rule over earth, then other worlds too.
Not all of these worlds understood that kind of ruling, for some worlds were very harmonious, others being unharmonious, and others being a mix of harmony and disharmony. At first it was a small group, a hundred people and creatures at first, then as time passed, more people and creatures joined in, causing havoc on their more peaceful neighbors. They would go through the portals that connected the realms to Earth and hold gatherings, trying to convince the people of each of the worlds to join them in their cause. But in every in every world, earth included, there was opposition. There were some humans and creatures that fought for every creature, human, and world to rule themselves. This went on for a few hundred years before actual fighting broke out, and a hundred years of fighting before we became aware of the issue.
It took two brace young souls, their lives torn apart by war, to bring the issue to our attention. They were a young pony Mage and a young fae drago who had a great amount of courage to make the journey to the realms we lived in…..both meeting on the journey, and falling in love. When they found us, the young pony was with foal, and she was in bad health. The journey had hit her hard after they had reach the last leg of it, and she was in the early stages of labour. Myeala, the goddess of healing got to work when she saw the state of the mare, summoning tree nymphs and water sprites to aid her. It took a few hours, but soon, two beautiful babies, a colt with draconian features and a baby dragonet with pony features were born. A orb appeared after they were cleaned up, showing their fate, and the fate of their lineage. It would not be easy for them and their descendants, but their line would be blessed for it.
As the mare rested and fed her babies, the young drake told us of the war that had broke out a few decades prior, and how earth and the realms had become segregated. How sides had been decided, and what creatures were on which side. Ponies had picked the side that wanted the good for everyone, and the dragons were neutral. Some dragons picked the good, some, the bad. Due to the war, and the conflicts leading up to it, it had apparently ecome taboo for interspecie relationships to arise, which was unheard of. We had made the worlds to inheritly be against this, even the worse worlds were against this, but alas, we did not have part in making earth, nor its inhabitants.
That was reserved for our father and lord, Yierliche. We were horrified, and did immediately took action. We went to the all the worlds and put a stop to the fight, and enacting certain magics the prevented a war like this from happening, and enacting magics evolving finding and bonding one to their true other half. This was inspired by the young couple who had warned us of the war. Sadly mare died when her babies were a few hours old, leaving them and their devastated father alone. We did what we could to comfort him, and made sure he was comfortable. He only asked that he and his children lived in earth, and earth became a haven for those who were hurting or needed time to figure their lives out. He asked that those who went to Earth could fit in to its society as well. We granted him that and promised that if he or his descendants needed anything we would help. He smiled at us gently after that and asked that when the time was right, or if there were a time the worlds were in danger again, call upon him or his blood,and they would be there.
