The Returned One
He was an ordinary guy, as far as depressed, unwanted people go. But he would soon find where he truly belonged in the hooves of the mother he never knew. Said hooves just so happened to belonged to the equally depressed goddess of the sun.
John was as normal as anyone else, save for the depression he faced every morning. He wanted to be cared about for so long, and unknown to him, he would finally get his wish, but at the cost of his very life. Coincidentally, that's the very reason he was imprisoned in the world of man. However the memories he would regain would lead him home to his family, and then on an adventure to save Equestria Itself.
