Rising of a new age

                                             CHAPTER 1

It was mid-afternoon on a hot summers day in equestria and most of the residents of the 2 story house were up, except for me. I was just wasting the day away while everyone else was having the time of their life, or at least that’s what I had thought. The news had spread faster than a wildfire, “A change in government may result in a nationwide revolution!” is what ran across the TV screen, “We will be covering this event all the way through.” yeah sure they will...ya know, I never thought that I would live to see a “nationwide revolution” and I probably won’t live to see it if it does happen. But that comes later for now let’s just cover what happened a few moments earlier. “Yo T.R. what are you doing man? Get your lazy butt up and come outside! A little fun won’t kill ya will it?”

“Yes, yes it will Lightning...leave me alone.” I couldn’t believe Lightning Flames’ persistence just to get me outside. He started banging on the door,

“Seriously man if you don’t get out here now i’m gonna bust the door down and MAKE you come out!” He actually sounded kind of menacing.

“Sure you will...just try it, I dares ya.”  I heard nothing for about  5 seconds then I heard the sound of running, then wings flapping, and then...WHAM!!! He went right through the door!

“For gods sake Lightning are you mad!?!?”

“Maybe I am thunder...maybe I am...” I was quite annoyed at this point.

“Dude get out! Don’t you know you could’ve just asked politely!?” When I look back at saying this, it probably wasn’t the best idea.

“I tried asking nicely, you just told me to leave, I warned you you still didn’t listen. If anything I did something good for you!”

“Yeah if your definition of good means busting down MY door to MY room then yeah! You did do something good!” We were having a screaming match at that point, and no one could really blame us, he did break down my door after all and I did tell him to leave me alone, so yeah we had our reasons to be mad.
