After a short while is eyes were used to the never-ending darkness. He looked around trying to find anypony.. but there was no hope... He tormented himself to stand up and held back a loud scream. As he stood up he heard a rattling noise coming from beneath him.. he looks at his hooves only to see they were chained up and so were his wings. "Hello?!... Anypony out there?.." He yelled into the dark nothingness before hearing a muffled clanking noise. The noise became louder and louder.. only to stop for a moment and making way for a loud grinding noise of an old wooden door. The opening of the door frame revealed a little light source, enough to discover being locked up in a dungeon-like cell. A deep, rough voice sent shivers down Lucky's spine "Ah... I see our Doctor woke up..." "Y-your... Doctor?!..." He asked before shaking the metal bars he was locked behind. "Yes... Our new Doctor.. or Surgeon if you want to be called that.. either way, you belong to us now." Lucky crawls back into a corner in fear as the clanking noise returns. The Pony walked up to the bars and stomps on the ground with one hoof, shortly after that the lights turned on and I covered my face with my wings while letting out a short hiss trying to escape the light. "Hehe... It seems you aren't the best friend of the day..." The Pony chuckled and knocked on one of the bars trying to get my attention. "What do you want from me?!.. and who are you?!" I yelled and ripped my wings off my face just to see Rainbow Dash in front of me. "N-no... this can't be... D-dash?..." She took off a strange looking mask before answering me again. "yes it's me and you are chosen to work here now, Lucky." I stared at Rainbow Dash believing this was all a sick joke of her. "now stand up! we already have a 'patient' for you.." My front hooves began to shake and burn as I slowly stood up before walking towards the bars and trying to break through. "Haha nice try.. but not even you could break through.." My hope was lost from one moment to the other and I sank to the ground again. I stared at my hooves and I thought about giving up. A few seconds later I mumbled to Dash. "Ok... I have no choice but follow your commands... Miss Dash.." Rainbow Dash chuckled and smiled after hearing my reply. She stomped with her hoof twice and two suited Ponies walked in and grabbed me. They dragged me into a room with a big surgery table in the middle and some tables with medical instruments. "Wh-what is this?.. what do you want from me?!" I yelled after they took off the chains from my hooves and wings before leaving the room again and locking the only door out. I looked around and there was only one reason why I'm still alive... my Medical and Surgeon training. A few moments later Rainbow's voice echoed through speakers. "Now.. Lucky your job is simple.. due to your Medical knowledge you are our new surgeon.. you are going to 'carefully' cut of the Wings of some Pegasi who aren't co-operating." I was disgusted by every word she said. But I had no choice... I had to follow her commands and do everything they said. I just nodded in the hope I could get out of this.. but I was mistaking. To be continued... Chapter 2: A different OperationA half year passed and I saw so much pain already... The Ponies I had to hurt... The innocent souls I hear screaming every single day... It's driving me crazy knowing how much pain this place brings. But today... today happened something completely different. After I cleaned my scalpels and the other stuff I heard an Emergency calling through the speakers. "Lucky! prepare the surgery we have a wounded fella coming in!" Her voice was filled with fear.. probably because a wounded Pegasus was found outside of the Factory which didn't belong to us as a worker. A bit later two Ponies pushed a table into the room with a white Pegasus laying on it.. unconscious and heavily bleeding. I ordered the two to place him on the cleaned table and to get my tools. "Ok, I need a Sitrep!" "broken and burned wings.. multiple broken bones.. and he's unconscious!" "Ok, that's all I need to know for now... Morphine and narcosis I need to operate and get me the Metal Wings!" One of the Ponies left the room to bring me a pair of Metal wings to transplant as the Nurse grabbed two syringes. The Nurse injected both into the body of the Pony before I slowly moved a scalpel towards his body. shortly before I cut in, the Pony gasped and rapidly opened his eyes. "Whoa! calm down you'll be Ok!" "Hello, where exactly am I and what happened?" I stared at the Stallion surprised about his calm reply... He had wounds all over him but still talked as calm as nothing happened. "Trust me you don't want to know... And I'm sorry to do this but I'll save your life through this... now lay back down please." The Stallion looked at me and through the room before replying. "What do you mean?..." I look at the Nurse and then at the two syringes. "Why doesn't it work?... did you give him the full dose?" She looked at the Stallion surprised and couldn't believe he's conscious again when he wasn't meant to. "Y-yes I did! but how is he awake now?!" I gently pushed the Stallion down and ordered the Nurse to give him another dose which -what a surprise- didn't work either. "I'm so sorry but this will hurt now... you were meant to be in narcosis but that somehow doesn't work." The Shadow Pony bashed into the room again and placed the Metal wings on a table next to me. I placed a small mask over my mouth and slowly cut off the burned and broken wings. The Stallion screamed and wiggled trying to escape. I stopped for a moment to wipe away my sweat. "Shall we fix him onto the table?" "......Yes, there is no other way..." The Nurse strapped two thick leather belts across the Stallion before I continued cutting of the wings. He started to scream again what filled the whole room. I pressed my ears against my head trying to ignore the screams of pain and concentrating on my work. Two Hours passed and I finally finished transplanting the Metal wings onto his body. I took off the mask and placed the scalpel back on the tools table before taking a deep breath. "There... W-we're done... Now I just have to.." I pushed a button on each wing which activated an electrical impulse to connect to the nerve system. The Stallion held back two screams and stood up again before being restrained by the Shadow Pony. I looked at the Shadow Pony and shake my head. The Shadow Pony quickly frees Him and I signalize both to leave the room. After they left I had some time to talk to the Stallion. "Well... What is your name by the way?" I asked while cleaning my instruments. He looked back at his new Mechanical Wings and sighed. "Junkie... Junkie Play... and what's your name?" "Lucky L. Flame... but just call me Flame for now." I said before moving the tables away and walking up to Junkie. "I'm sorry you landed in here... but I give you one advice... Don't. Question. Her. Orders." I walk past him and out of the door before hearing Miss Dash calling for me. I sigh and take off leaving Junkie behind. He was brought to the 'Hammer' as I call it where he had to work for the rest of his life. To be continued... Chapter 3: The RescueTwo years passed since I saw Junkie and I already thought he didn't make it far. I just finished another tragic surgery when Miss Dash contacted me through the speakers again. "Lucky prepare the surgery room again.. we have another traitor." I sighed and prepared the table once more and pulled the little tablet with my instruments out again. I waited a couple of minutes and then they brought in another Pony... A Pony I thought I would never see again... It was Junkie, he had a bump on his head but was still able to talk properly. "By Luna No... Not you again..." "Oh Luna No I didn't mean to! please let me free!" I sadly looked over to Junkie and sighed before ordering the Ponies to leave. After they both left I talked to Junkie. "For the love of Luna what did you do to land in here again?" He wiggled in the hope I'd free him but I knew that would be my certain doom. Instead I place a knife besides him and yelled at him. "Answer me!" He stopped wiggling and stare at me before replying nervous. "I... I manipulated the thing I had to work on and they found out... There's just so much pain inside this building... I want it to be shut down forever!" I let my head drop and sighed in relief. I took away the knife and take off the belts to free Junkie. "Go ahead... there's a hatch at the top of the room... it will lead to freedom... when you're out immediately call the Royal Guards." Junkie looked at me confused and asked after tilting his head a bit. "If there is a hatch to get out of here in this room... why are you still here?" I sighed and looked at my wings which were still tied against my Body. "I can't... they tied me up to ensure I won't run away.... Now Hurry they won't be away for ever!" "O-ok! b-but won't they kill you because you freed me?" I looked at my right wing and pulled out a sword under it. I could feel the blade grinding against my wing and I pinched my eyes trying to ignore the pain. "they won't even know I freed you..." I threw the sword away from us and lay down on the floor. "you somehow freed yourself and knocked me out." Junkie nodded and flew up to the hatch leaving me behind to find help. Meanwhile a few seconds after he left Miss Dash broke into the room and saw me laying on the ground. She rushed to me and made sure I was still alive. "Lucky! Wake up! what happened?!" I slowly stood up again and walked to my sword to pick it up before answering. "He... He broke out... I tried my best..." She looked at me angry but soon she calmed down. She looked around and saw the mess we created in our 'fight'. Then she looked back to me. "Well... at least our Doc is still alive." They left again soon and I had my peace for about 32 minutes before hearing an alarm. I rushed out of my operating room only to discover several Solar and Lunar Guards arresting everypony in sight. I smiled in relief as I saw a Lunar Guard flying over to me. I lifted my front hooves smiling. The Guard looked at me confused but just shrugged it off and took me outside. After every worker was arrested and Dash was captured A Guard walked up to me once more. "Flame?" It was the Leader of the team and so I replied with respect in my voice. "Yes Sir!" He looked back and waved over Junkie. I smiled and chuckled. "I'm so glad to see you again." "Well if I wouldn't have known your name they would not have believe me." I carefully cut free my wings and spread them revealing the clean cut I inflicted myself earlier. "The important thing is you called the right Ponies..." I said before starting to hover in the air. "I'm sorry but I have to go now... I have to find out where my family lives..." The Guard interrupted us and talked to me. "Sir! your Home is in Cloudsdale, Hero Drive 4219" "thanks Captain!" I quickly answered before taking off towards Cloudsdale... where I hopefully find my family... To be continued... Chapter 4: The Old LifeIt took me some time to finally find Cloudsdale and landing near a massive Cloud House. The only thing I was able to remember was that I had a Family before... but there was no other memory of how they looked like, so I searched for the address that was given to me and landed in front of the house. Well there was I... standing in front of a wooden door... unsure if I should really knock or just fly away abandoning my old life... I took a deep breath before knocking on the door. I waited for about a minute before a Pegasus Mare with dark Violet fur opened the door. "Yes? Can I..." She wanted to ask something but quickly noticed who was standing in front of her. I tilted my head while she teared up. "Excuse me, I'm searching the 'Flame' Family. Do you know where I can find them?" I asked ignoring the tears, what I now regret. The Pegasus wiped away her tears and suddenly hugged me. "You just found them..." She lost her control and began to cry. I gently pushed her back to take a closer look. "M-mom?... Is that you?..." My memory slowly returned as I teared up as well. She turned around before calling somepony. "Darian! You won't believe who came home!" I heard a Foal trotting through the halls before standing shocked in front of me. I was surprised as well because I didn't expect a Unicorn in Cloudsdale, or in my Family to be more exact. "Uhm... Hello?" I tilted my head and stared at the little Unicorn. The little Colt jumped excited at me and hugged my front hooves. "Lucky! I missed you so much!" I looked at Viollette confused. She frowned and wiped away some tears again. "Is there something wrong Lucky? aren't you happy to be back?" She asked me with a small frown on her face. I sighed and looked down at Darian before answering with a trembling voice. "I can't remember anything anymore... It's... It faded all away..." I looked at the Mare and sighed. I somehow regret that I couldn't remember anything, even though it wasn't my fault. "And I'm afraid your name is gone as well... I only remember that you're my Mom..." She smiled kindly. It looked like she wasn't mad but I felt so bad inside. "It's Viollette Sweety." My head sunk down and even before I could ask she answered my question. "And that's Darian, your little brother... and yes he's a Unicorn instead of a Pegasus" Viollette waved me in and dragged Darian away from me with a smile. I sat down on a sofa and looked around. "I don't remember anything..." I mumbled and tried to resurrect my memories. Viollette walked up to me and dragged me out of my thoughts. "Do you want something to drink?" My eyes focused on her and I smiled a bit, after all those years I was able to smile again. "Uhm... s-sure I'd just like a cider" Viollette nodded and walked to the kitchen after sending Darian upstairs. After a while she came out with a mug of cider for me and a tea for her. She gave me the cider and sat down on the sofa. She talked with me about all the things I've done while living here, filling my memories again. She let me sleep in my old room and I was very thankful for that. To be continued... Chapter 5: A New HomeIt's been a few days since I escape the Factory and started to live my old life again but... I feel like it's not safe yet. I can't endanger my Family like this... if something would happen I would drown in regret. Today I'll have to search for a new, hopefully a safe, own Home. I already talked to my Mother about my plans and she started to cry, as I expected, and tried to convince me that we'll be alright. But my choice had been made... I made myself some breakfast before searching the newspapers for Homes. I picked out a few. The first I visited was in Canterlot, A pretty big house with many corners, It looked amazing from the outside but on the inside it was a mess, the walls collapsed, the electricity was damaged and worst of all the roof caved in. My hopes were crushed since I hoped I could live here safely since the Castle isn't far away. I moved on to the next which took me a long flight. The second House I went to was in Manehatten. As I landed I already gave up hope. The front looked disgusting it had graffiti and something else, which I don't want to explain, all over it. I immediately took off again and wanted to go to the next, which sadly was already sold, so I flew to the last one... Ponyville. I never heard of it but my hopes were big. I was kind of surprised as I discovered the house. It was a Cloud Home floating above a small and quiet town. I didn't think much of it and looked inside of it since I had the permission of the current owner, he wasn't there yet so I took the chance to take a quick peek inside. My heart pounded against my chest as I walked in and I was quickly relieved. It was amazing, everything was in good condition. I waited for the owner to come over so I could sign the contract, it took about half an hour until a yellow coated Pegasus Mare landed on the front porch. She was pretty shy at first, she just gave me the contract with shaking hooves after I told her I'd take it. I quickly signed it and smiled kindly, which was a bad idea, I was confused as she took off rapidly and flew home again but a few moments later I realized... my fangs! I wasn't thinking of my fangs! After I successfully scared the current Owner away I took the keys she dropped and walked inside. On the first Night I slept on the couch which was left in there and waited until tomorrow to get my stuff in here. The Night passed and I woke up to the sound of knocking. It took me a while to realize it was somepony knocking on the door. I jump off the couch and walked to the door with a annoyed sigh, I mean it was about 7 o'clock in the morning who wakes somepony up at this time?. I opened the door a bit to peek through a small crack. Before I could even ask anything a hyperactive Pink Pony charged through the door and knocked me over. I immediately jump up again and was about to pull my sword out of it's shaft as I realized she was smiling at me with the brightest smile I've ever saw. I calmed down again and pushed the sword back into the shaft. "Who in 'tarnation are you?! And what do you want? You better have a good reason to bash into my home like this at this time!" I asked annoyed and hid my sword since she hasn't seen it yet while walking back inside. She bounced on the spot which almost drove me crazy as I realized that she was an Earth Pony! How is she even up here?!. "Heya! I'm Pinkie Pie I noticed that you moved in and I wanted to welcome you with my friends but they're sadly busy but I think you already met Fluttershy I know she can be very quiet but if you know her better you could become best friends who knows you might be best friends with me too!" My ears almost started to bleed as the high pitched voice echoed inside them. I rubbed my left ear while answering her. "Pinkie Pie... I'll better not forget your name... how in the name of Luna are you even standing here?! on a Cloud?! you're an Earth Pony!" I was unable to understand how an Earth Pony was able to get up here and stand on a cloud. And how did she even find out that I moved here?... maybe that Pegasus, I mean Fluttershy, talked to her afterwards... "Well easy to explain these Clouds are reinforced with a light metal One of my friends used to live up here before she got arrested for something really mean..." Her voice got sadder at the end of her explanation and I gulped after hearing it. I looked through the House nervously before asking her who this friend was. "Why Rainbow Dash of course!" She replied a bit happier this time. But my happiness dropped at once, just like my heart skipped some beats at this point, and my fear was clearly noticeable. She tilted her head in confusion as I started to sweat and breathe heavier. "A-are you alright?..." She starred at me completely confused. I never researched about any of those homes! how could I have been so naive and just sign the contract without knowing the actual owner?! "Y-you mean... THE Rainbow Dash?..." My voice trembled in fear as I spelled that awful name once more. "Yes... Rainbow Dash one of my best friends... she used to life in here a few years ago..." She answered me with confusion. I immediately sent her out and I lay down on the couch to cower in fear. Chapter 6: A Helping HoofI spent the rest of the day laying on the couch cowering myself in a ball of fear and disgust. Somehow I fell asleep because the next thing I can remember was hearing a echoed laugh through the House. I jumped off the couch and ripped out the sword while looking around rapidly. I walked through the rooms and halls with shaking hooves to search the source of the laughing. After I entered the master bedroom I heard somepony or something breathing very loudly behind me, as I turned around a voice in my mind got louder and louder. My heart stopped as I stared at what was behind me. I dropped onto the ground and started to cry as I stared at the corpse of my Father laying there... he still had some life in him left but it was too late... Suddenly I found my self jumping off the couch with a loud gasp again. I breathed heavier than ever and sweating in fear. Was it all a dream?... or was it my sick mind trying to warn me? A few moments later I grab my saddlebags and take off towards Cloudsdale. Luckily the movement Ponies were already waiting so I just had to tell them where to go and flew back to Ponyville again. It didn't took long to move all my old stuff inside my new home so I decided to fly down to Ponyville and take a look around. I went to take a look at the Market, the Library and the local Farm. I was really happy with this small and quiet town... I even found two new friends. I couldn't think of anything better. I was about to fly back but something caught my attention... I saw a little filly getting pushed around and I immediately changed direction and landed behind the three ponies, two really snooty fillies were bullying a little Pegasus. I stomped my hoof at the ground and yelled at them. "Hey! who do you think you are?! get lost, both of you!" They both giggled as they trotted away happily. After they left I walked over to the Pegasus and sat down besides her. "Hey kid... what was that all about?..." I asked while giving her a kind smile. She sobbed and hugged me, as thank I suppose, before explaining her situation. "those two are always making fun of me and my friends because we don't have our cutiemarks yet... and for me it's worse since they mock me because I can't fly as well..." I looked into the direction those two went before looking back to her. I wrapped my wing around the filly. "listen kid... I know exactly how you feel... I was bullied before too..." She wiped away some tears and looked at me with new hope. "y-you were?..." I chuckle and look up into the sky. "yep... Cloudsdale Flight Academy... I wasn't the most popular back then... they always made fun of me... but I focused on what was important... and I reached my goal..." I slowly puzzled my memories back together as I talked to the filly. I was lost in thoughts but was ripped out of them from another question. "what was your goal?..." The filly asked with a tilted head. It seemed that she was more interested in my past than I was. I opened my saddlebag to take out a Wonderbolt Badge and showed it to her. "To join the Elite..." The filly gasped and stared at me for a few moments before jumping up in excitement. "You are a Wonderbolt?!" Her voice was filled with interest and excitement. I nodded and stood up. "Not just any Bolt... I'm the drill instructor of the RES" I answered proudly as I spread my wings wide open and look down at the filly once more. At this point I should probably explain what the RES is and what it stands for. The RES is a group of Wonderbolts and Royal Guards which took the oath of protecting Equestria and the Princesses from their enemies. The RES or Royal Equestrian Army is highly trained and always ready for battle. The filly stared at me in awe and was simply speechless. "You ok kid?..." I asked a bit confused and waved a hoof in front of her to get attention. Luckily she came back to reality, but for my surprise she rushed away, I stood there confused and alone. After she was out of sight I flew back home since there was nothing left for me to do. I placed my furniture where I wanted it to be and decorated the house a bit to feel more homely. After I was done I realized it's already dark outside so I decided to go to sleep. Chapter 7: A Thanking GiftThe next day I woke up to the sound of loud knocking on my front door. I forced myself out of bed and trotted to the door. I was very surprised after I opened the door and saw a very familiar face. The little kid from yesterday somehow found out where I live and decided to visit me. "H-hey... c-can I come in?..." The filly asked with a trembling voice. I took a step to the side allowing her to enter my house. Shortly before I wanted to close the door another Pony walked past me. I quickly noticed that the second Pony was a grown up Pegasus, exhausted and heavy breathing. I offered her a glass of water which she rejected thankfully. Instead she just sat down on my sofa. "Could you do me a favor? you're obviously stronger than me, there are two more fillies down there, they're here friends and also want to talk to you." She explained after catching some breath. I nodded at her before heading out and flying downwards to pick up the two fillies. Each one of them grabbed one of my front hooves and I flew back up. I carefully placed them on the front porch and took care they wouldn't fall of since they weren't Pegasi, instead a white coated Unicorn and a yellow-orange coated Earth Pony. I took them both inside and they sat down on my sofa as well. I grabbed a few packages of fruit juice out of my fridge and gave one to each of them. "So, I heard you three want to talk to me?" I said while climbing onto the last available spot of the sofa. The Pegasus stopped sipping on her juice for a moment and firstly introduced herself and her friends. "Oh right, I'm Wingdaloo... but please call me Scotaloo, I burried that name a while ago... and these are my friends. Sweetiebelle, Rarity's little Sister. And Applebloom, Applejack's little Sister. We wanted to thank you fo-" I interrupted her to ask her a question, which I now regret. "And who's Sister are you?" I saw her happiness blast off immediately after I finished my sentence. Her head dropped as Sweetiebelle looked at me with a frown in her face. "You're new so you possibly can't know... she doesn't like to talk about it either so I won't start with it too, just to let you know... please don't ask about her family again." I nodded and excused myself at once. I gave her a sign that she could continue to explain. "We... we wanted to thank you for what you did yesterday... Nopony ever talked to those two like you did... And we're very thankful for that." She explained again before giving the word to Applebloom, she had a very strong country accent which I didn't mind though. "ya know... those two are the horror at our school. They don't care about anypony but theirselfs. And nopony 'round here is brave 'nough to stand up against them." The filly said with a serious voice. I was pretty confused why I was the first Pony to speak against those two. So I asked them, but the answer was worse than I expected. "Their Parents are the most rich Ponies in Ponyville... and they've got the best lawyers too. So nopony dares to revolt against them." I started to chuckle, and shortly broke into laughter. They all stared at me confused, the fillies as well as the Pegasus Mare. "They should try to incite one of their little lawyers against me! I'll be waiting for 'em!" I replied within my laughing. I eventually calmed down and assured them I'll be alright. Since they had nothing else to say they finished their juice before I brought them to the ground again. A few hours later I noticed I still needed some new supplies since the home was abandoned for a long time and I had to throw all the food away. I grabbed my saddlebags and my purse before leaving my house and flying to Ponyville. A few Minutes later I landed at the market and walked around looking for some food and drinks. Sadly no merchant had what I wanted, but one of them a friendly looking Pink Earth Pony walked up to me. I was confused at first but kept listening to her. "Hey, I saw you wandering around a bit clueless here. What are you looking for?" She asked me with a kind smile. I was focused on her unique Rainbow strife in her mane, which you don't see often where I came from, but luckily I heard her question. "I-i'm searching for supplies. Eh... Food and Drink to be exact." I replied to her after ripping myself into reality again. She smiled and pointed to a path which leads outside of town. "Then you should definitely check out Sweet Apple Acres. They've got the best Cider, delicious Hay and juicy Apples. The number one spot for hungry and thirsty Ponies like you" I smiled and thanked her before following the path which lead me to a big Farm. I looked around for a while until another Earth Pony, Applejack as she introduced herself, walked up to me. "How may Ah help ya?" Just like Applebloom she had a strong country accent. No wonder they're sisters... "I want to order some supplies if you got some?" I asked, friendly as I always do, and waited for her response. "Al'ight. What do ya need? We got The best Cider, delicious Hay and j-" I interrupted her because I already knew what she was about to say next. "I'll take a crate of apples and a barrel of Cider, that should be all" She nodded and entered the barn. A few minutes later she came out towards me again with a crate of Apples on her back. Right behind her was A red furred Stallion with the Cider barrel on his back. I pulled out my purse and was about to pay but she stopped me beforehand. "This time it's free for ya. My sister told me what you've done for her friend. How do ya wanna get it to yer home by the way?" She asked me with a curious tone. I haven't even thought about it but I was sure I'd be able to put the apples into my saddlebags and attach a hook to me to lift the barrel. Said and Done, I managed to carry the heavy barrel and all the apples to my home. I stored everything in a small chamber besides my kitchen. After I was finished I felt very exhausted so I went to bed right afterwards. Chapter 8: Rising StormThe next day started off with a small problem and ended with a tragedy. I woke up and ate something before noticing a envelope laying on my table. I was very confused how it got there since nopony could acces my home besides me yet. It had the wax emblem of Canterlot on it so I was very worried already. I opened it and read through it. Dear Mr. Flame, On behalf of a recent complaint about your actions in Ponyville the Princesses have no choice but to send you into unpaid holidays for a while. Your Armor and Weaponry can be picked up at this Sunday noon. Sincerly, Shining Armor. I was shocked. A complaint about me?! I was mad and threw the letter straight into the paper bin. But I already had a slight clue who could've reported that... That two snooty fillies. I swung my Saddlebags onto my back and hid my Sword, which I always have close, under it. I left my house and locked the door before flying to the ground and walking around. I searched for the two and I didn't had to search for long. I quickly approached them as they teared apart a market booth. "Hey! You two! Stop your actions right this instant!" They both rapidly turned around. They giggled for a moment but continued to bully the merchant. I pulled them back quickly and asked the merchant to call the Police. Luckily two Officers arrived quickly and I explained them the situation. The two fillies were hoofcuffed pretty fast and I followed the Officers to both of their homes. As one of the Officers knocked on the first door I posed myself like in my duties, to act much more respectable. A grey furred Mare opened the door after a short while. "Yes, How can I help you?" She noticed the two Officers and the Guard Patch on my Saddlebags and suddenly went from friendly to angry. Not towards us but towards her Daughter. "Silver Spoon! What have you done this time!?" I could tell she was dissapointed in her Daugther and herself. I stepped forward and introduced myself before explaining. "Your Daughter and her friend took apart a marketbooth and bullied the merchant. You should really watch out who your Daughter walks around with Ma'am." She gave a short evil glare at her before looking back to me with a forced smile. "Trust me... I won't let her get away with this. Thank you for your service." I chuckled and told her there wouldn't be a need for formal answers since I'm out of duty. She pushed her Daughter inside and swung shut the door. I looked at the second filly a bit annoyed. "Officers you're dissmissed. I can handle her myself. Just tell me where her family lives." They both just shrugged it off and gave me a key for the hoofcuffs and showed me the way. I knocked hardly on the front door and waited for a family member, preferably a parent, to open up. As the door opened I gave out a annoyed sigh. "Good Day Ma'am. I found your Daughter tearing apart a marketbooth and bullying the merchant with her friend. Please take care of your Daughter and her actions." The pinkish Mare inspected me curiously before responding a bit harsh and snooty. "Aren't you the foolish Pegasus which bullied my Daughter and her friend before?" I shook my head confused. I bullied two fillies? No way! "I'll see past that obvious insult for once and ignore the fact that you just insulted an off duty Guard." She broke into laughter. After she calmed down her voice got very deep and threatening. "I will let you rot in prison... nopony bullies my Daughter without consequences" I stared at her more confused then before. She pulled her Daughter inside and shut the door right into my face. I stood there for a minute before questioning this town. I eventually flew home and laid down on my sofa to let my thoughts play. After a while I fell asleep. But A Nightmare hunted me this night and I couldn't sleep as I used to do. A while into the dream, when everything went insanely weird, Luna appeared in front of me. I immediately bowed down to pay her my respect like I do everytime I see her. "I see a Children of the Night is having Nightmares... how sad it is to see that it's the same Pony I have under my command..." I stood up again and sighed. "Yes your Highness... I had quiet a interesting morning... Somepony sent in a complaint towards Shining about me and I know I met the family which has made the complaint. They're the most snooty ponies I know." Luna's sad look turned into slight anger as she spread her wings wide open. "I already took care of that. Your lawyer is arriving shortly." Her voice echoed through the threatening world of my nightmare, giving me new hope. I forced a gentle smile onto my face. "Thank you your Highness... It was just a missunderstanding and you won't have to recieve any complaint about me anymore." I said while saluting to her proudly. She nodded and started to float above the ground. "I put great trust into you... Don't dissapoint me... Again." I set my hoof back to the ground and smiled a bit more. I haven't had the time left to answer her once more. She wrapped her wings around herself and slowly vanished into the darkness. After Luna vanished my dream became more usual and calm. Preparing me for what's coming next... Chapter 9: Wrong DeliveryAfter I've been visited by Luna, my sleep became more calm and I woke up well rested in the morning. After hopping out of my bed I took a quick shower before trotting down the stairs and into my kitchen, where I made myself a coffee and some cornflakes. I already heard the newspaper sliding through the mailslit in my door, so I quickly picked it off the soft but stable cloud and began to read it whilst eating my breakfast. I only flew over the pages, picking out the most important stuff. I haven't found anything interesting so I decided to take a closer but relaxing look at what Ponyville had to offer. As I opened my door to leave I noticed a little cardboard box sitting in front of my home. I examined it and noticed the Mails Pony confound the delivery as it was addressed to somepony else. I didn't hesitate to bring the box to the post office where, to my surprise, somepony was already arguing with the head mailmare, A grey furred Pegasi with limited eyesight stood behind the counter hiding behind her boss as the angry customer argued with the Manager of this post office. I examined the customer and made a note in my memory. Red-pinkish fur, sided mane with a braided strand, bushy tail, decorative daisy headwear, green eyes, a few freckles under the eyes and a very interesting cutiemark. After a few minutes of listening to the argument, I stepped in. I spoke just loud enough to drown the two voices in silence. "Silence! Now, would you be so kind and explain what the problem is?" I alternately looked at the Manager and the customer awaiting an explanation from either of them. The Manager approached me but quickly changed his mind as I stomped at the ground and giving him an evil glare. "You may explain. But you will not approach me." He nodded and was obviously surprised of my reaction. It took a bit for him to find his courage to speak again. "This custom-" He wasn't getting far with that sentence so I shortly interrupted him with a silent growl. "SHE probably has a name. And I'd be thankful if you could call HER by that name if that's alright." The Mare shook her head and apparently couldn't stay quiet anymore as she broke into a long explanation. "The thing is I recently ordered something on the Internet and it hasn't arrived yet. The page said it has been sen-..." She didn't came far in explaining either as I stared at her confused trying to find out what a Internet could be. "...-nd. Great... you don't understand me either. Just know this. I ordered something and it hasn't arrived yet." I was confused as I never was before. She eventually noticed the cardboard box on my back and pointed at it. "May I take a look at the receiver of that package?" I nodded and set it on the ground in front of me. She giggled victorious as she read her name on it out loud. "Gloriosa Daisy Legend Drive 1 32414, Ponyville" She smiled happily and looked over to me with a questioning look on her face. "Of course Ma'am. Twilights Castle, right?" I replied as I picked the box back up placing it on my back once again. She nodded and trotted ahead. "So..." I began with a friendly smile as I trotted behind her. "...what is your relation to Princess Twilight?" I tilted my head a bit and waited for her to answer. She sighed and turned around. "I... I'm a friend.. yes! A friend of Twilight" I noticed nervousness in her voice but I rolled with it that she's friendly with Twi. As We arrived at the Crystal Castle she took the cardboard box off my back and quickly ran in. I stayed outside confused and left after a few minutes. I flew back home and read some old box of mine to calm my thoughts and speculations. The day went by quietly and as it got darker I went to bed. But I had the constant feeling something is special about that customer I met in the post office. My thoughts eventually faded as I fell asleep. Chapter 11: The DecisionAfter about five minutes I set my front hooves back to the ground which I ripped into the air as I jumped back in surprise. A mesmerizing blue shimmer enveloped the mirror and it was a almost irresistible sight. I slowly approached the mirror again in curiosity. The mirror suddelny started glowing brightly as the Pony I met in the post offices walked out of the glowing mirror. My jaw dropped in confusion as the Pony walked past me, she probably hasn't noticed me until she reached the door. We both stared at each other for an awkardly long time before she dashed out of the room. I took a while to react and chased her down, trapping her in the living room. "Would you care to explain, why you're running away from me like that?" I said after catching some breath. The Pony looked paniced and tried to dash past me but I quickly shut the door. She sat on the floor and sighed. "Alright. You want an explanation? I'll give you one. I'm not from this world, infact I'm not even a real Pony. I am a human and that mirror I came through is the connection between Equestria and my world." She explained with a sad and scared undertone. She looked at me in fear I might laugh at her. But I replied calmly. "I understand. That.. other world... is it... safe?" I looked at her hopeful as I scraped the floor with one of my hooves. She looked at me confused. "Safe? What do you mean by that?" She asked as she scratched the back of her head. "You know... Would it be possible to track magic through that.. portal?" She thought for a while and stood up again. I looked at her very hopeful and my wings twitched happily as she answered me. "No. Not that I know of. Twilight told me you wouldn't be able to track anything once you step through the mirror." I heard enough to send a kick down to my hooves and wings and I rapidly crashed through the door behind me and back to the magical mirror. I stared at the whole machinery with new hope in my eyes as Gloriosa catched up on me. "What is wrong that you want to go off radar that desperately?" She asked after she found me. She walked up besides me and looked at me questioning. "My Father was kidnapped and possibly murdered by a sadistic cult which leans against the Equestrian law and is now on my tail." I answered with a sad voice as I looked back at her. I sighed and stomped onto the ground. "I can't endanger my friends nor my family like this. If they find me, my family's next... So that leaves me no other choice than to run... forever." I walked closer towards the mirror and softly touched it's surface, making it shimmer on my touch. "Are you sure you want to do this? Abandon your family to safe them?" She asked as I held my hoof into the mirror. I looked shocked at what I saw. "I have no other choice... if I stay... my family line will be rotten out... Yes... I am sure I want to do this." I took a step into the mirror and looked back for a while. I expanded the wing which was still outside the mirror. "How long are you going to stay here in Equestria, Gloriosa?" I asked as I looked back. She wandered in circles as she thought. "I didn't want to stay for long. Just wanted to speak to Twilight. But sadly she isn't here. So you know what? Since you want to follow me I might just give you a tour in my world." She replied as she shoved me into the mirror and followed shortly. Chapter 12: A New Home?I swung my backpack onto my back which I packed with a map, a compass and a few other survival stuff before leaving the wooden doors of the Camp Directors hut. I smiled as I walked through the wooden entrance gate of Camp Everfree, the place I now call my home. It has been a few weeks since Gloriosa allowed me to sleep in her House as for I haven't got an own tent yet. I enjoyed the calmness of this little relaxing Camp so far. "Good Morning, Gloriosa. Good Morning, Timber." I said with a gentle smile as I walked past the two head Directors of Camp Everfree. Everypo- excuse me, everyone has been so nice to me since I got here. It was pretty weird at first but I accustomed to it. "Good Morning, Lucky. Where are you heading?" Gloriosa asked as Timber took a sip of his tea cup. I stopped as I stood besides them both and replied with a smile. "Just heading to the town real quick. I need to buy a few clothes." I saved some money by helping Gloriosa and Timber in Camp. And I decided to spent it on buying fresh clothes, or at least let my smelly clothes get cleaned. "Alright. We'll be on the mountain path in a few hours. So if you come back early you can just prepare the food for the Campers, yes?" Timber said with a friendly smile. I nodded and set myself off heading towards the nearest town. Along the way I found some signs advertising Camp Everfree. As I followed the path alongside the street I lost myself in thoughts. "Am I, or most importantly, is my Family safe? Have I made the right decision? Will I ever return?" And the answer is yes. My Family is safe, I am safe and I will eventually return to my old life if I'm absolutely sure it's safe to go back. "But what about the Camp? I have contributed so much sweat and passion into the maintenance of everything. I'm cooking for the Campers and lead the Archery Workshop. I achieved so much in just such little time." I was torn back and forth between decisions and I knew, I had to decide for one thing very soon. I was so lost in thought that I hit a light pole which ripped me back into reality. I noticed that I arrived in town and headed straight to the nearest clothing store. It didn't took me long to buy some shirts, pants, underwear and socks so I shortly headed back. As I arrived back at the Camp I noticed Gloriosas little message to newcomers. "Touring Campers. Returning in approximately thirty minutes" I chuckled and walked towards the large wooden building. "Thirty Minutes! Yeah, right. Not even if you'd tour very enduring runners you wouldn't make it in thirty minutes through the mountain path." I placed my backpack full of clothes on my Bed before I headed into the kitchen and starting to cook some healthy but strenghtening food. I looked up from my cutting board and through the service hatch with a smile. "Camp Everfree. My new Home." I said to myself. Unaware that Gloriosa stood right behind me. "Aha. I see you're back. You seem to like it here, don't you?" I jumped aside with a surprised scream. Gloriosa giggled as I looked at her shocked. "I thought you would be wandering!?" She giggled again and shook her head. "Timber is. I decided to wait for you to come back so I could help you with the food." She replied with a sweet smile. I calmed myself down and continued cutting some vegetables. "Thanks. I could really need help preparing food for more than fifteen Campers plus us three." She took a pinny off the hook and put it on before taking her hairnet and putting it on her head. "So... you really like it here, huh?" She asked after a while. I shoved the cut vegetables into the cooking pot with the knife and sighed. "Yeah.. It just feels much more safe here than in Ponyville." I said as I took a pack of noodles and putted it into boiling water. As I looked up again I saw Timber returning with the Campers which headed straight to the dinning tent. It took a few more minutes until the food was ready and we all sat down to eat. I feel very homely here. And I will decide my future sooner than I'd think. Chapter 13: Friendship That Binds ForeverA Month has passed since I first walked through the entrance gate of Camp Everfree. Everyone here is really nice to me and each other. It's almost like this place was my home all along but I just never knew. I still love my family back in Equestria, that's the reason I'm here after all, but I feel like that reason is accompanied by something else. Something much more valuable than friendship. A while ago, I finally decided upon my future. The Day started out just like any other. Waking up at 6 o'clock and preparing coffe for Gloriosa, Timber and me, and on the other side of the big kitchen, preparing breakfast for the campers. After breakfast Gloriosa came into the kitchen to help me cleaning. As we cleaned the glasses and such I constantly thought about something... How I'd best tell her how I truly feel. "G-gloriosa?..." I started to break the silence with a little trembling in my voice. I was very nervous and took a deep breath. "What is it, Lucky?" She replied with a kind and supporting smile. I gulped as I turned towards her with a noticeable blush. "Are you okay?" She asked as I laid down the drying cloth on the counter. I took another deep breath. "Gloriosa. I know this may be very sudden but I feel like it's time for me to decide. I have decided to stay here in Camp Everfree. You all made me very happy in such a short time. Espacially you, Gloriosa. You were the one who invited me to stay, the one who gave me a home offside home." I gently took her hands at this point as I felt special in her presence. I smiled at her gently with a bright blush. "You are the one I fell in love with. Gloriosa. I love you." I was reliefed as never before as I told her those three words. Sadly, Gloriosa was a bit sceptical at first. "I... I don't know what to say, Lucky... I'm sorry if I sound mean or anything but.. I haven't had the best expierence in the past." My smile loosened a bit as I heard her reply. But it quickly grew a while later again. After she told me her past and I assured her the opposite of me she smiled a bit herself. After some more time into our conversation I heard the most beatiful words I never imagined would make me feel so happy. "I love you too, Lucky." My heart sank into my pockets and we both smiled brightly. I couldn't hold myself back but to hug Gloriosa tightly, looking into her beatiful eyes we both merged into a kiss. I was as happy as never before. "I have made my decision. I will stay in Camp Everfree, with you." I said with a lovely smile after we broke our first kiss. After we both left the kitchen, holding our hands, the other Campers quickly noticed and came to us to wish us a happy and particularly long lasting future. We sat down on a nearby bench and cuddled together. We both somewhat forgot the world around us for the rest of the day. But I can remember it was our most happiest day in our life. At least, until then. Chapter 14: Introduction to a New LifeI wake up to the sweet chirping of the birds as the sun slowly peeks through my opened window. An exciting new day begins for Camp Everfree. I rub my eyes as I yawn before noticing a cup of coffee sitting on my desk. I smile warmly as I stand up to walk up to my desk and notice a little note of Gloriosa. "Hope you had a well resting sleep!" I read with tired eyes and smiled. I took the coffee cup into my hands and warmed them with the warmth of the cup. I took a stroll outside and saw Gloriosa welcoming some new campers, so I sat down on a bench nearby and waited for her to finish while drinking my coffee. It took a while until Gloriosa noticed me and waved me into the introduction of the campers. I quickly jumped up the steps and stood besides her with a smile. "This is your contact person for anything that requires artisanal attention. Also you should respect his desicions or else you'll have a problem with both of us." Gloriosa said to the campers as I arrived. I smiled to myself as I looked over the campers with a welcoming smile. "Would you like to introduce yourself Hu- I mean.." I chuckled a bit and smiled at Gloriosa before turning back to the campers. "Good Morning, Newcomers. I am Lucky Flame and I'll be the one you will contact if you even see a piece of paper on the ground. Nature is our friend and you will all treat it as such so remember to throw your trash into the trash bins which are located outside of every tent." After a few hours we finished introducing the campers to Camp Everfree and gave them a quick tour around. I took a quick stroll around before heading back into my room in the wooden hut. I took a piece of paper and started writing a letter addressed to my Family's Home in Equestria. "Dear Family, This will probably be my last letter ever to Equestria. I want to inform you that I have found a new place I now call my home. I have met so many nice people here and I have decided to stay here. I happily bequeath all my stuff to Heather and Darian when they both are old enough. You can give personal letters to Twilight. She will hand them to me as I visit her Castle once in a while. Love, Lucky." I folded the letter into the envelope and carefully placed it in my backpack. As I walked through my door I saw Gloriosa sitting in her office. I smiled and entered the room after a short knock. "Good Morning, my love" I said to her with a lovely smile. She looked up from the papers on her desk and gave me a blushed smile. "Did you sleep well, Lucky?" She asked as she stood up to walk over to me. I hugged her and softly kissed her cheek. "Naturally. And thank you kindly for the coffee." I replied with a smile as I walked towards her desk. She sat back down on her chair and blew a strand off her face. "It was my pleasure. Now if you excuse me, Honey. I need to finish reading these. You've got a Day off." She said to me with a happy smile. I gave her a sweet kiss and headed towards the door. "I'll be in my room, reading a bit." I said before leaving her office and walking back into my room. I laid down on my bed and read some books for the rest of the day. As I read, I thought about the past Month and how happy I am to be here and most importantly; how happy I am to call Gloriosa my lovely Girlfriend. Chapter 16: Love That Binds ForeverHalf a year has passed now. I haven't had very much time to write my journal due to camp maintenance but I'm really happy to report what has happened in all these months. We start on a ordinary day. Gloriosa and me are preparing breakfast for the campers and simultaneously we're preparing lunch packets for later. We have planned that Gloriosa will hike through the woods with a group of campers while I, as I told her, teach them a little bit on the topic of Fire Hazards. But instead... I planned something way bigger. "Alright, everyone. I'd like you to help me with something VERY special." I began after Gloriosa left with her group of campers. I was noticeably nervous and took a deep breath. I assigned groups of three campers and gave them a task. "Group One; you're going to attach this banner to the camp entrance, so when Gloriosa comes back she can see it perfectly. Group Two; your task is to arrange a short flower path parallel to the entrance gate. And I will help you organize and arrange the rest. Thank you all in advance." I handed a big banner to the first group and took the second group to a smal van of a friend in camp with which we brought the various flowers and with them, a Bouquet of Gloriosa Flowers. We created a little path towards the camp's wooden entrance gate and properly set them into the ground to let them regenerate a bit. After that I quickly went inside to put on a smoking, brushed my teeth and combed my hair before taking a little box with chocolates and the Bouquet of Flowers. I waited behind a big plain cover strapped into the wooden gate and we waited for Gloriosa to come back. After a few minutes the look-out which I placed some distance away signalized us to get ready. Gloriosa was, obviously, confused as for what occasion this arrangement would be but yet curious about it. She stepped closer and closer until the campers were informed by my group whats going on and distracted her for a second. Long enough for me to stepped through the cover. "Gloriosa?" I said with a bright but nervous smile to get her attention. She turned around in confusion and looked at me questioning. "Lucky? What is going on here?" She asked a little curious. I stepped closer and looked into her beatiful eyes. "Sweety, you are the woman which brought me here and I don't regret one second here. You made me so happy in such a short time. I'm utterly thankful for every single moment with you. And I think it's about time to take a step further." I kneeled down in front of Gloriosa and took a little box out of my pocket to open it and reveal a ring with a small diamond on it as I saw her tearing up in happiness. "Gloriosa Daisy, do you want to merry me?" I said and at the same moment the banner dropped and showed the six most important words I know. It took a while but it felt like an etternity. In the end, it was totally worth it. "YES!" She yelled under tears and pulled me up into a passionate kiss. After that I put the ring on her finger and smiled brightly. I was as happy as never before. To be continued... Chapter 17: A Truly Unforgettable DayI can not describe how happy I am to write this down. My hand softly trembles out of joy as I write these words. If I would have to describe this day I could only find one word: Unforgettable! The 29nth of August. Oh I won't ever forget this. But let me start from the beginning. I woke up well rested and with a soft smile towards the other side of our bed where Gloriosa slept peacefully. I carefully stood up and walked into the bathroom to do my morning routine. After that I made some breakfast and brought it to Gloriosa as she woke up. "Good Morning, Sweetheart" I said with a very lovely smile as I presented the plate of breakfast. She yawned as she opened her eyes and gently smiled back. "Good Morning, my Love" She then replied before noticing the plate I held towards her. "Aww that's so sweet of you, Sweetie" I placed the plate on her lap and gave her a sweet kiss. I sat down at the edge of the bed as she started to eat. It took a few minutes until she finished her breakfast and got out of bed. I went out to prepare the breakfast for the campers. On the way to the kitchen I came across Joshua, one of our fellow campers. I was surprised to see him awake already so I approached him. "Morning, Josh. What keeps you awake?" I asked with a curious undertone as I sat down next to him on the bench. "Oh you know, just wanted to enjoy the view of the rising sun." He replied as he stared towards the horizon. I followed his point of view and saw the beautiful sun rising behind a row of trees. "It sure is nice and relaxing out here, eh?" I said as we both watched the rising sun. I sighed relaxed as the sunrise calmed me down and I took a deep breath of the fresh air. "This is just wonderful... Watching the early sun rising over the camp, watching us throughout the day... Ahh, it's beautiful living here." My view wandered towards the dock where Gloriosa and I already prepared our wedding altar. "Hey, Josh?..." I asked a little nervous as I looked over to him. "...do you think you could take the part of the priest this evening, since you know.." before I could finish my sentence Joshua interupted me. "Oh, of course I can. I'd be honoured to." He said with a gentle smile. I sighed relieved and smiled as well, knowing that it wouldn't take very long anymore. "Well. I should get going now. Your breakfast won't make itself." I said with a friendly chuckle before continuing towards the kitchen, where I made the breakfast. The rest of the day was pretty quiet. We took a quick hike through the forest's path to collect trash and take notes on various things. I was nervous again as I stood at the altar with my smoking on, waiting for the organist to announce Gloriosa's arrival. Seconds felt like minutes, minutes felt like hours and hours felt like an eternity. I was very nervous and happy to stand where I did. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and counted to three to calm myself down as the organist began playing the wedding march. I smiled happily as I saw Gloriosa walking up to the altar in her very beautiful wedding dress and stopped besides me. "Ladies and Gentlemen! We are gathered here this evening to witness the marriage of Gloriosa Daisy and Lucky Flame." Joshua started his speech. "In front of God's gaze I ask you, Lucky Flame, do you want to love and honor Gloriosa Daisy through good and bad times, through rain and storms?" I nodded nervously but happy and answered proudly. "I do." He turned towards Gloriosa and smiled at her as well. "And I also ask you, Gloriosa Dasiy, do you want to love and honor Lucky Flame through good and bad times, through rain and storms?" Gloriosa nodded as well and answered happily. "I do" Joshua turned around to pick up the soft little pillow with our rings on it. We both took each other's ring and slided it onto our fingers. "I hereby pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may kiss the Bride now." I smiled brightly as I pulled Gloriosa close to kiss her passionately. After a while we softly broke the kiss and turned towards the crowd before walking out under loud bells. We celebrated the whole night and it was simply amazing. Chapter 18: Family VisitThere I am. Sitting under a tree on a warm summer morning. Watching the gorgeous Moon vanish behind a mountain, giving space for the Sun's glorious daylight. I sort of grew into this whole day and night thing after a while here. It's still both beautiful and heartbreaking to see either Sun or Moon slowly sink away into the next era, but it's comforting me with every new day. And as I watch the Moon give its way for the Sun I fondle with a letter I'm holding, grinning in excitement. The reason is simple and fills me with glee. It's a letter I picked up a few days ago from Twilight at the Portal and foretells the arrival of my Family back in Equestria for a visit here. "Today's the day" I sighed happily as I looked down at the paper once more. "I'm finally seeing my family after all this time again. Although... I did find my place here with my own little family, I still miss my Mother and my Siblings..." I mumbled to myself as I stood up and put the letter into my backpack before heading towards the camp's kitchen, where I prepared some toast, cereals, hot cocoa and coffee for me and Gloriosa. "Good Morning, Campers! Today's a brand new day to enjoy the beauty of nature and partake in our various activities!." I yelled over the sleeping tents after waking up Gloriosa, giving her a cup of coffee, and ringing a small but fairly loud bell. My waking call retrieved mixed feedback but I'm used to the morning muffles by now. As always I led them to the dining area where I placed the food. A while later I cleaned everything up and returned to Gloriosa. "Goodmorning, Beautiful." I said after walking through her office door with a friendly smile. "How was your sleep?" I asked as I closed the door again and walked towards her desk. "Slept pretty well and had a very nice dream as well." Gloriosa answered me as she took a pleasurable sip of her coffee. "I cleaned everything up so you won't have to worry about the dishes anymore. And I also wanted to remind you of my Families visit today." I replied as I looked through the paperwork we still had to do. "Shall I check on Dahlia quick?" I asked with a friendly tone, expecting her to agree with my offer I walked over to the office door. "Thank you very much, Sweetie." She said with a very thankful smile at me. "I'm currently drowning in all this paperwork and I'll have to get it done. At least partly." Gloriosa added as I nodded and held the doorknob in my hand. "I'll help you as soon as I can. My Mother shouldn't arrive until Noon." I told her before leaving the office and walking over to our Daughter's room, where I watched her for a while and changed her diapers and such. After that, I carefully carried her back to Gloriosa. "Look who decided to visit her Mother at work." I said with a sweet chuckle as I entered the office once more, with Dahlia in my arms. Gloriosa smiled and put down her pen, stood up and walked over to me, to sweetly caress Dahlia's head with a relaxing sigh. "She's such an adorable little flower." She replied with a lovely smile. I carefully gave Dahlia to her and smiled back. "It calms me down just seeing our little flower and holding her in my arms." A few hours later, after we finished eating our meal together, I noticed Twilight waving at me from afar. My smile grew as I saw my Mother, my little Brother and my little Sister behind her. I quickly walked over to them and gave all three of them a group hug. "I'm so happy to see you again. It's been too long since I left." I said with a bright, happy smile. I shortly noticed that Gloriosa came over as well and smiled at her as well. Hunny, may I introduce you to my family?" I said to her with a friendly chuckle and looked at my Mother. "Gloriosa. This is Viollette, my beautiful Mother. And the most friendly Ma- Women I know." Gloriosa attempted to shake my Mothers hand but was pulled into a friendly hug instead. "It's nice to meet you, my Dear." My Mother replied with a smile. I proceeded to my little Brother. "And this is Darian, my little Bro." I said and fondled his hair with a familiar smile towards him. I waited for a few seconds before picking up my little Sister. "And last but not least. Heather, my sweet little Sis." After introducing everyone, we sat down on a bench and talked a while. "This sure is a lovely place, Gloriosa." My Mother started. "I can understand why my son settled in here after he had to leave." Her smile slowly faded a bit and she fondled with a little necklace locket my Father made for her years ago. "But.. it was the right thing to do. I knew this day may come someday but I didn't expect him to be so far away." Viollette continued as she looked over to me, playing with Darian and Heather in the grass. "You don't have to be worried about your son, Miss Flame. He's such a great father and helps me out as much as he can. I couldn't have asked for anybody but him." Gloriosa replied and smiled friendly. "Please. Call me Viollette, Dearie." My Mother said as her smile grew again. "It's so lovely to see him and his siblings together again. They missed him so much. Just as he did miss us." Hours have passed and we experienced much fun reunited and I was extremely happy they visited. But slightly heartbroken as they had to leave again. I already look ahead to their next visit. Until then. I'll watch out and protect my own, new family. Author's Note I experimented with a new writing style which will stay for now. I hope you'll like it as much as I do and stay tuned for the next chapter. Flame, Over and Out. Chapter 19: Dying Over Broken DreamsPonyville... Oh, how I missed its glory. It was months ago since I last set my hooves onto the floor of Twilight's Crystal Castle. I must admit, it felt strange. Strange to feel the cold crystal floor under my hooves again. But perhaps I should explain why I'm wandering here again. It's basically pretty simple but yet so hard to explain... It started out as a pretty ordinary day at Camp Everfree. But I soon realized something different about Gloriosa. She acted quite strange and unsure in my presence. I was worried, I must admit. But every time I asked her, what may be wrong, she answered with "No, everything's fine." and put on a fake smile. The day passed and it was in the afternoon as Gloriosa walked past me with another Camper behind her. I looked at them both confused. I could hear them talking about someone lying and losing trust. "Hello" I said with a friendly smile at Gloriosa. Little did I know what may happen next... "Oh? Hello..." Gloriosa started as she turned towards me. I saw in her expression that something was very wrong. "So, how was it, Lucky?" She asked with a little disgust and anger in her voice as well as her expression. At this point, I was already staring at them with utter confusion. "I beg your pardon?" I answered, obviously confused and irritated. I tilted my head a bit as she didn't answer me, instead, the other camper stepped forward. "Don't lie to her! You know very well what she meant!" She said in a slightly threatening voice. "Someone, who wants to stay anonymous, told me 'something" Gloriosa added as her expression got angrier but slightly sad as well. It hit me like a bullet. I immediately knew what she meant and I couldn't believe, what I just heard. "W-wha-?..." I was so shocked, that I wasn't able to bring out one word. "I would never cheat on you! And I didn't! Why should I even think about that?!" I said in a panic as my hands started to tremble. But the answer I hoped for was far away from reaching me. "I.. don't know... but so many others told me that you were completely different behind my back... and now this?... I just lost the trust to you... this happened to me too many times now..." Gloriosa answered as she started to tear up. My jaw dropped open in disbelief. "Gloriosa... Hunny... Please, that's not true!" I replied as my voice trembled now. "No... I can't go through this again... It's over, Lucky... Goodbye..." . . . Those are the last words I heard from her... I stared after her and the other camper for a while before dropping to the ground... I was mentally broken... Who would've said something like that?!... What have I done wrong?... So many thoughts flashed through my head as I kneeled there, trying to handle what just happened. Alone once more... With nothing to lose, I jumped up, pulled my wedding ring off my finger and threw it away. I stomped into Gloriosa's Camp Hut to get all my stuff and stuffing it into my backpack. I was so frustrated and filled with anger that I ripped out my entire keychain of the camp's doors and threw it onto Gloriosa's bed before sprinting out and shortly stopping under the entrance gate of Camp Everfree. "Goodbye indeed... forever..." I mumbled to myself as I pinned a short note at one of the wooden pillars before continuing my way into the city. I sighed deeply as I stood in front of the statue, which holds the passage between Equestria and this world. I stepped through it without thinking about it twice... Author's Note Well... it took quite some time to bring myself to write this but... yeah... this is my life in a nutshell... losing everything I would dream for... Chapter 20: Home Sweet HomeThe cold, crystal, floor softly crackles as I land on it after exiting the portal. My wings stretch as I bow towards the ground in acclimatization to my old, yet new, Pegasus body. After floating above the ground, to evaluate my weight again, I wander through the empty Castle Hallways. My ears gently twitched and turned, slowly picking up more and more voices. I eventually found the exit to this maze of halls and stepped out into the beautiful sight of Ponyville's dirt roads. As I took a deep breath of the fresh air, smelling all the nostalgic scents, I notice a very familiar scent under the various Ponies. It slowly approached as I saw Darian running towards me, his face covered with an excited smile. The force of his charge pinned me to the ground as he tackled me. I laughed in happiness and my wings buzzed silently. "Hey, there lil' one." I said as I cuddled my little Brother happily. His excitement was pleasing to watch as he leaned his head against my chest. It was such a long time since I felt his warmth leaning against me. A pleasing moment passed as I gently brushed his hair. "I missed you so much, Darian." I added as I rested my chin on his head. A few moments passed before my Mother turned a corner in search of Darian. I warmly greeted her with a bright smile. Her eyes widen as she saw me before trotting over to Darian and me. Tears flowing down her cheeks as she approached me for a tight hug. "You finally came back! I was so worried about you, Sweety!" A smile covered my face as I softly rub Viollette's back, Darian clinging to my hooves. A while afterward, we separated with a large smile. "I'm so happy to finally be back here... Things didn't quite work out..." My view wandered toward the ground in regret followed by a soft sigh. My Mother gently lifted my head with her hoof, a reassuring smile brightening the situation. "Don't worry or fret, Sweety. Whatever may have happened, we're here for you. Just remember what your Father told you so often, yes?" Her kind words cheered me up, making my wings buzz softly. "Thanks, Mom... It's so nice to be back. I missed Ponyville and most importantly. You." With a gleeful smile, my Mother kissed my cheek before spreading her wings, one's top feather touching the ground allowing Darian to climb onto her back. "We should head home. It's getting colder every day and it'd be a shame if you or Darian would get sick." I nodded in agreement before spreading my wings. They grew noticeably larger over time of being gone from Equestria, allowing me to take off without any problem. It felt somewhat strange, yet very familiar, feeling the fresh breeze brushing through my soft fur as I flew in the open sky. A deep breath filled my lungs with air and I began to forget about the past months, leaving me with old but happy memories of living in Equestria. Life continues... It never stops creating beautiful days like this. Chapter 23: Mental ExtinctionA new, horrible chapter begins. A chapter, with the pain of losing someone completely. A lot happened since my last entry in this dusty diary. Hearthswarming Eve, my return and much more. Today, however, I'm here to let you know I gave up. No more entries. No more new adventures. I lost every last motivation. I do think you deserve to know why though. First off: The loss of a great friend. I met him about one and a half year ago. A Pegasi, I saved from certain death. We both helped each other to put an end to the known and feared Factory. We went through a lot together, helped each other in difficult situations and he was one of the best guys I've met. Unfortunately, everything changed after I moved to Camp Everfree, to live with a Mare I thought I could trust and love. We slowly parted from another, fighting over stupid things. I went against the guy I trusted, which helped me through so much pain in a blind rage of fake love. I regret every word I threw into his face... Farewell, my old friend. May you find a better path than I did. Now: A horrifying mistake. Camp Everfree. I thought I could escape my destiny and begin a new life with the Camp's Owner. I was wrong. She fooled me, making me turn against the friend I once trusted and played with my love to simply drop me for someone else one day. I can't say much about her but, I hate her. I never thought hate could be that strong. Farewell, I hope your heart gets crushed like you crushed mine. Farewell, everyone. Chapter 10: Family Reunion or A New Beginning?Darkness... nothing but darkness and suffering. I once again can't forget that horrible place I was held in as I sat upright in my bed, sweating in fear. I rapidly turned my head towards the window which leads outside as I heard a clanking noise downstairs. I somehow wasn't able to move at all and started to panic a bit. After a few minutes I saw my Mother walking up the stairs and into my room. I sighed relieved and calmed down as my Mom smilled at me. "Good Morning!" I threw back my blanket and smiled back at her. I sniffed around a bit and joyfully licked my lips. "Pancakes and Hay?" I asked with a happy smile. I trotted towards the door and hugged the violette Pegasus Mare. "You guessed it! We haven't heard from you for a while so we thought we'd visit you." She replied with a really sweet smile. I smiled even brighter and look at her questioning. "Mhm! They're both downstairs." I ran past the Mare as she giggled and jumped down the stairs, slowly hovering to the ground, before bashing into the living room where they both sat on the sofa. I jumped over the sofa and tightly hugged my little brother Darian and little sister Heather. I could tell they were as excited to see me as I was myself. "Oh I'm so happy to see you two again!" I said while hugging them both with a very bright smile. I eventually let go of them and sat down on the ground. "We wouldn't miss the opportunity to visit our Big Brother!" They both replied at the same time. I chuckled andstood back up as Viollette brought a few plates to us and placed them on the table. I almost drooled at the sight of my Mothers amazing Pancakes topped off with a few slices of crispy Hay. "It looks as delicous as I remember it, Mom" She smiled happily and sat down on the opposite side of the table. I didn't hesitate to take a small bite. "And it tastes just as good!" She giggled happily. I smiled at her as I saw a very glimmer in her eyes. "I'm very glad you still enjoy my breakfast, Lucky. I haven't made it as often as I used to since..." I swallowed what I had left in my mouth and trotted over to hug Viollette. "Shh~ Please don't cry, Mom. I know it's hard but let's focus on the happiness we still have, yes?" She nodded as she wiped away a few tears. I gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead what gave her a new smile. We continued to eat until a new question broke the silence. "How are the Ponies here? Have you found new friends yet?" My Mother asked with a curious look. I sighed and looked back at her. "Mom... I didn't move here to find new friends... I moved here to ensure your safety..." Silence joined the conversation again. I stood up and looked down at my brother and sister. "I think it would be better if you'd leave now... It's not safe here..." My mother stood up and hugged me tight. I wrapped one of my hooves around her neck. "I'm sorry, Mom..." I said as they walked out the door and flew away with Darian on Viollettes back, Heather flying besides her. For the next hour I was busy cleaning the plates and my kitchen from the mess my siblings made. As I cleaned everything up I remembered the Pony I met in the Post office. "If she's a friend of Twilight... why haven't she introduce us yet?..." I said to myself. It didn't take long for me to stand inside Twilight's Crystal Castle. I spend about an hour and a half to search for Twilight or Spike but the only thing I found was a weird looking mirror. I carefully approached it and jumped back as the weird device around the mirror started making noises. I stood there, staring at the mirror and didn't move for a while. To be continued... Chapter 15: Settling InSeveral Months have passed now since I moved to Camp Everfree and since a Month I'm happily together with Gloriosa, the head Camp-Director. There hasn't been much happening besides that Gloriosa and I are planning to marry soon after I proposed to her. We both already know it's going to be a very exciting day for the both of us. Another Morning I woke up to smell buttered toast and roasted vegetables. As I opened my eyes I saw a small plate with said toast and vegetables and Gloriosa sitting on the edge of our bed, smiling at me, before her sweet voice softly broke the silence. "Good Morning, Honey. I made some breakfast for you. I hope you like it" I supported myself on my arms and gave her a gentle but sweet kiss. I felt so overwhelmed with joy as I took a bite from the toast after putting some roasted vegetables on it. "It's delicious, Hun." We both smile at each other after I finished to eat my breakfast. I put the plate aside and stood up to walk over to the closet to put on a shirt and pants. Some time later we both prepared the breakfast for the other campers. We both recieved very positive feedback on the food we cook and thanked everyone. In the afternoon I was honored to lead the Archery Workshop and was happy to see many faces which were interested in Archery. I firstly gave everyone a safety instruction and then proceeded with basic knowledge. "Before I start, are there any questions so far?" I looked through the group for a while before continueing. "Didn't think so. Okay, the most important thing is that you hold the bow and arrow in a ninety degree angle and hold your breath to focus on your target." I demonstrated every step as I explained it and hit the bullseye perfectly. "Follow these simple steps and you should be just fine. Just.. don't be like an old colleague and let go of the grip. It'll end badly." I carefully watched the campers as they missed shot after shot. After a while Gloriosa came over and stood besides me with a happy smile. "Everything going well?" She asked as we both watched the campers. I nodded smiling. "Yep. They're doing pretty well for their age. But they still need to learn alot. But I'm very confident of them." After about an hour I told the campers to store the bows and arrows back in the hunters cabin. We ended the day with an evening campfire, where we roasted marshmallows and made stick bread. All in all it was a nice and mostly relaxing day. As the time went by and it got close to midnight we all headed back into our tents, Gloriosa and me into the Directors cabin, and let the night pull us into our dreams. Chapter 21: Everlasting CareCold, refreshing and most importantly... free. The feeling of flying high up in the sky is calming and sweet. I wouldn't ever exchange it for anything in Equestria again. I playfully tricked around in the air, flying backward, loops and such as my Mother lead the way with a smile. My thoughts soared freely as all my doubts and sorrows vanished in calm breaths. "Oh, how I missed this feeling... It's been far too long..." I mumbled to myself as my Mother landed on the front porch of her Home. A few cloudy trees, bushes, and soft cloud grass surrounded a noticeable walkway towards the door of a big house. This is where it all began... My birthplace. A soft sigh escaped my lips while my hooves gently touched the soft ground as I landed carefully. "Welcome Home, Sweetie. I hope you're still familiar with your old home after all this time. Yours is currently under construction after a... accident by a clumsy Pegasus." My Mother explained as she unlocked the door with a digital code, as well as disabling the security lock and alarm. I stepped closer to the house with a soft smile as I remembered all the great times I had here. My heartbeat raised with excitement and nostalgia as we all walked inside. Holding back tears of joy, I walked through the building and shortly found my room. It was still as I left it. Nothing moved, nothing changed. Although my Mother cleaned it multiple times she still put everything back in its place. "Mom, I... I'm so happy to be back home." I told her as I heard her hoofsteps approach from behind me. My smile brightened as I let myself fall into the soft bed, another sigh escaping my lips, I lay on my back and staring at the ceiling with my memories soaring through my mind. Viollette sat down beside the bed with a happy smile toward me, a single tear of happiness flowing down her cheek. After a while, she gave me a gentle but loving kiss on the forehead before heading back out of the room. It didn't take me long to relax, sending me into my dreams and forgetting about what happened. My life continues. No matter what or who tries to break me. I won't give up. I won't lose hopes and most importantly, I won't ever lose the support I'm given by family and friends. Libertatis amor honoris genus. Chapter 22: A Festival to RememberAfter a good night's rest, I woke up to my Mother dart past my room, dragging something after her. I saw a beautiful green Christmas tree float by. I rubbed my eyes and yawned after hopping out of my bed. I followed Viollette calmly, smiling at the thought of being back, back with my family and friends. "Good Morning, Mom. Ya slept well?" I yelled after her before continuing downstairs into our living room. I chuckled a few times as I saw Darian hopping onto her back. I helped her carrying the tree onto our small table where we put it into its stand. "Thank you, Sweetie. Even with magic that thing's heavy as an Ursa." Viollette replied afterward with a relieved sigh and a smile. I could, however, esteem her stress showing in her eyes. I gave her a short hug, to calm her mind. "I'll help you with the Decorations. More hooves are always better." I told her with a smile as I walked over to our sofa. I rummaged through the boxes and separated the decorations between exterior, interior and tree decorating. "I'll take the outside. I'll be back afterward to decorate the tree together." I said before walking outside with a box of decorations on my back. I stepped out to see beautifully decorated houses and snow-covered clouds. A truly amazing and beautiful sight. I hung a fir ring upon our door as well as placing a wooden Snowman next to the door. I walked further out, onto our front lawn, to place a little Sleigh in the snow. After decorating the ground I flew around the house, hanging up Christmas lights. After half an hour, I finished the exterior decorations and headed back inside. I opened the door to see Darian running around in a reindeer costume. I chuckled as I caught him, carrying him on my back. After a while of waiting for Viollette to come back into the living room, we all decorated the big Christmas tree together. "Alright, Darian. Like every year, the top star is your special part." I told him as I gave him the Christmas star and lifting him up. We all smiled as we finished the decorations. Viollette prepared some hot chocolate and mulled wine for us. We happily sang Christmas carols together and celebrated Christmas as its known. Spending a beautiful time with your family. Merry Christmas everypony!
Chapter 1: The AwakeningLucky slowly opened his eyes as he heard screams of pain while laying in a dark room without any sight of light.
