Weeks after the battle of Hoth the Rebel Alliance now gathers what little forces they have and goes into hiding in the Outer Rim, waiting for their time to strike. Meanwhile the Sith lord Darth Vader has sent in Star Destroyers to find the Rebels hidden fleet and destroy them once and all.

During the hunt for the Rebel ships, a MC80 Star Cruiser has gone on a recon mission to find a missing Rebel CR90 corvette that carried valuable data that my ad the Alliance. On board the Star Cruiser, the astromech R2-D2 and protocol droid C-3PO have been assign to captain Areatha Strand to assist her on retrieving the lost information.
