The Case of the Catastrophic Cutie Mark

Chapter 1: Bubblegum Baggs

Bubblegum Baggs was a earth-pony who lived in Ponyville all her life. She had short, creamcolored

hair and her silky dark-brown mane flowed down past her throat latch. She was a beautiful

pony, but behind those deep chestnut eyes was a fiery intellect.

She lived on the outskirts of town but kept her office near the main square, near the hustle and

bustle of travelers and townsfolk coming in and out of shops. She worked as a private detective,

solving problems for anyone willing to pay a few bits. This time, a young mare was in her office; Dew

Blossom.

Dew Blossom had succumbed to a terrible fate! Yesterday, she was one of the most talented

florists in town. Her bouquets were even delivered to the castle regularly. Her Cutie Mark was of two

thorn-less roses intertwined. But today, it had changed! Her rump now showed a purple star surrounded

by sparkles, a Cutie Mark she hadn't seen before! What's more, the talent she had once had with flowers

was gone. Her prized orchids were dying, and for some reason Dew Blossom couldn't fix it. Clearly

something was wrong, but how? Baggs decided to investigate. But it was hard for even a focused mind

like hers to not see how beautiful of a pony Dew Blossom was. Her quivering lips made Baggs want to

hold her close in comfort, and her supple haunches were just begging to be admired... closely.

Baggs approached Blossom slowly, and Blossom could see the intensity in her eyes, and feel the

warmth coming off of her body. She was in such distress but maybe a distraction is exactly what she

needed? She was ready to give in to her desires.
