Author's Note

WARNING: This is suppose to be a fun, family like chapter. It's not suppose to contain any drama of the sort, it's just showing that even drama in a family will not honestly affect some sort of bond and care they have for eachother. Once again, this is a fun chapter, just taking a break from the yelling, conflict, and drama. I feel like this is a break from that. You have been warned.

Luna's Family (Side Story) Part 1

Maybe, my sister isn't the only one with a family..

Luna silently sat in her room, listening to Celestia and Discord talk on and on about their past, angers, and many other things Luna would roll her eye's at, though she does understand.. But do they really need to yell at each other right near her door? "Discord I'm serious! My children need to stay here, in the castle!" Celestia yelled as Luna put a silence bubble on her room as they spoke.

"Who knew.." Luna slightly mumbled as she finally lifted onto her hooves, finding where the game controller went. "Supernova! Thee must wake up, you need to get Nidra so I can give her some 'lessons'" Luna spoke a bit as she pulled out two gaming controllers. Supernova softly smiled before swiftly heading off to Nidra's room. He had to walk past the creature and the princess of the sun blabbing on about what the meaning of their relationship was.

"Look you two, Luna and I are a happy couple, but I understand Luna always has duties to attend to. When your wife is the side-ruler of Equestria you can't expect her to always have room in her schedule. BUT, she never ignores Nidra and I, she doesn't favorite her younger son, or stick her muzzle in papers. Look, Celestia since your my sister in law I don't mind giving advice, now won't you two just shut up? You do see my son sleeps in the day and his room is right there." Supernova walked away not even waiting for a reply. Discord just gave that look like 'Did he really just do that?' while Celestia stared up at Discord. "Nidra! Wake up sleepy head, I know you had a long night yesterday, BUT mommy wants to see you for her daily 'lessons'." Nidra stormed up with a large grin before flapping to find her mother's bedroom. Then again passing the arguing ex-couple.

"Mother you needed me?" Nidra slowly padded in before giving her mother a strange look as Luna was playing games. "M-mother, you're over 1,000 years old, don't you think you're getting to old for this?" Nidra gave her mother a off look as Luna paused the game. "And I've never took a good glance at your bedroom.." Luna silently pushed her daughter out giving a nervous look.

"Dearest, one is never to olad to do the thing they love.. And I love gaming, Tia said the same thing. But look, now she even likes gaming. Discord plays every once in a while, Cadence I play games with every Saturday. Honestly, even though where all royalty fun doesn't hurt. Even Twilight tried, and failed.." Luna giggled at the end while Nidra arched a brow. And gave a look that said 'Then let me in..' Luna sighed and opened the door.

"G-gamer Luna? You got a computer, what do you play?" Nidra pulled up the browser and took a look at the tabs. "Whats Fimfiction?.. Devianart?.. Equestria Daily?.. What are you reading mother.. Clo-" Luna shut the laptop with a blushing like look on her face. Silently pushing her daughter outside of the room.

"T-tonight there is going to be a family gathering, it's usually just Celestia, Starburst, Cadence, Shining Armor, Twilight and I. But Supernova is finally getting a day off from his guard duties! So my niece and her brothers are coming, you should as well! Discord hasn't came in a hundred years, but I suppose he will be tonight, bye darling!" Before Nidra could reply the door slammed.

What was she reading?

• That night
  "Hey Discord, are you coming to the 'family' gathering?" Luna arched a brow as Discord rolled his eye's. He was about to speak but there came a hoof to his mouth. "Yes, Tia is coming. Shes my sister, whether you like it or not you're dealing with her. Either be alone while all of us have fun, or join us." Discord sighed as he nodded before following Luna to the throne room. "Discord, if you don't remember, each of us get to do our favorite thing with our family for two ours each. Every year I do gaming, so everyone brings their controllers. Cadence, usually giving love advice. Twilight, usually reading us her favorite stories. Shining Armor? It's different every year.. Starburst? Flying, since we all have wings, except shining armor so he just runs trying to keep up with four alicorns, the pony who got flying lessons from RainbowDash, and Twilight? Shes pretty decent with her wing's, and Celestia?.. She well cooks us all a huge cake to eat, while she talks about politics, what about you?" Luna spoke with a strong tone.

"Oh! I got it, how about we all take a break from this boring stuff, and we can all visit a alternate universe! Oh I got it, how about a universe where there's realistic creatures with five fingers, flesh, and grown men who play with ponies.. Not that there is anything wrong with that.. And no, not Equestria girls if that's what your thinking.." Discord giggled as Luna looked so confused, it was a family night so it would be wrong to deny anything, so she just walked off. Luna stared as Cadence and Shining Armor finally arrived. "Oh... Hello every pony! So whose first, oh how about Lu-lu?"
