It's been some time since the Battle of the Bands competition within Canterlot Highschool. The Dazzling's fled the school, never to return within it's very walls. In order to get by however, they decided to perform at various locations throughout the city. Going from one establishment to the other.

It was when they visited their latest venue, that they met a kind and loving young man by the name of Silent Mic. He offered them accommodation and allowed them to perform at his very business, trying to help them get back up on their feet and offer them a chance to change their ways.

As they spent more and more time together, it was then that Sonata Dusk and Silent Mic knew there was a special bond between them.
