Princess Scarlet meets Adz

Adz was alone at home, curled up on his couch, watching some TV. His expression was one of boredom, as he sat once again in the same spot, staring at the screen. All his friends were out, and his YouTube video making was complete, so for now there was nothing he could do. A glance at the clock showed it was still only 6:45, a long time until he would be able to fall asleep.

Adz sighs, and lowers his head, resting his chin on his fore hooves curled up in front of him. But suddenly, a strange breeze blew though his only slightly opened window, creating a low whirring sound. Adz's mane started to wave from the wind, increasing in intensity. The window behind him rattled, as did the table. Adz stood up quickly, now scared of any threat that may come his way.

There was a sudden burst of light from the middle of his living room; a large ball of white light blinding him. Adz shields his eyes with his hoof, as the entire room envelops in an almost hurricane like wind. Pieces of paper fly everywhere, and an old vase on a shelf falls over, shattering on impact with the ground. A large blast knocks AdzAdz7 back, the explosion of light covering the entire room. Adz hid behind the couch, shivering in fear.

But then, all the noise and wind stops, and in its place, silence. Adz musters up his courage to look over the back of the couch into the living room for the source of the mayhem.

There, standing in the middle of a dark circle on his floor was a mare. Adz could see she was an alicorn with white fur, like him, but had a pink, and cream coloured mane and tail. She wore a pink skirt, trimmed with black, and black boots on her hind legs, pink on her forelegs. As she turned to glance back at Adz with her yellow eyes, Adz notices her green dagger-like weapon on her belt, and the golden necklace. Adz sudden realizes that he was staring, and jumps as he makes eye contact with the mare.

"Uh... h-hello?" Adz nervously says, stepping forwards from the couch.

"Who the buck are you?" the mare suddenly shouts, frowning at Adz.

"Uh, excuse me?" Adz replies, a little shocked from her sudden hostility.

The mare growls, and pushes past Adz, "Ugh, I haven't got time for this."

"Why are you in my house?" Adz says, turning around, still in confusion.

The mare turns back and gives Adz an unamused look.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for interrupting your evening." she says in a clearly sarcastic voice, "But I gotta get outta here, or I'm in some serious horse apples."

Adz sighs from this mare's casual use of foul language, and tries to take on a stern look.

"Okay, who are you, and where did you come from." Adz demands, stomping his hoof down on the ground.

The mare turns back with a shocked expression, her mouth open in disgust for his tone.

"Uh, excuuuse me! I am Princess¬ Scarlet." she says, opening her wings to show her authority, "Princess. I can do whatever the buck I want. Come and go from the multiverse however I please."

"Multiverse?" AdzAdz7 repeats questioningly.

"Yeah." Scarlet replies bluntly, clearly unamused, "I'm able to jump between parallel universes."

Princess Scarlet turns, and glances around at Adz's living room, before spotting the kitchen. She smiles softly, and trots forwards to raid his fridge.

"Well... Why did you come here?" Adz asks again, following the mare quickly, "Like, my house."

Scarlet flings open the fridge, and instantly grabs a banana, peeling it with her magic, and eating it without asking. Looking back at Adz, she quickly swallows.

"Well, I gotta eat." she replies with a smirk.

Adz stares at the mare again, running his eyes up and down her beautiful figure. She had amazing calves, and cute little ears, and not to mention her small, yet strong wings. Adz steps into the kitchen, moving behind Scarlet, only to be startled back as she spins around from the fridge, almost finished the banana she had stolen.

"You know..." Adz says, staring her straight in the eyes, "You really are... very beautiful."

Adz lifts up his hoof to touch her cheek, but is suddenly shot down by hers, pushing the stallion away.

"Woah man, I'm gay." Scarlet says bluntly, "So, just back the buck off."

Throwing the peel in the bin, and pushing Adz out of the way, Scarlet steps back into the living room, before pulling out a small, futuristic looking pocket watch.

Adz frowns, and wearily follows behind the mare, trying to peek over her shoulder.

"Uh, where are you going now?" he asks timidly.

Princess Scarlet lets out a large sigh, before turning around to Adz, pouting her lips in thought.

"Uh, I dunno. Thought I might head over to the human dimension, just for kicks." Glancing back down at Adz, who was still just staring at her with a fragile frown, she sighs.

"Do you wanna..." she starts to say, turning her head away to cringe, "Come with me?"

Adz suddenly perks up, his ears shooting up with his wings in excitement.

"Oh yeah! That sounds awesome!" he shouts, doing a small jump for joy.

"Yeah yeah, don't give yourself an erection, it's just a parallel universe." Scarlet says lewdly, waving her hood to try and calm the over-excitable pony down.

Adz jumps over to the Princess' side, wrapping his wing around her back. Scarlet gives him an exaggerated groan, before pulling her wing down too, holding him tight. She was never one to take anypony else with her across the multiverse, but this stallion was the type that would make her feel guilty if she didn't. Like a little dog you don't give your dinner to. With a small scowl, Scarlet lights up her horn, filling the room with wind once more, before flashing them both away, leaving the universe.

Adz feels his body stretch and grow faint as the two are violently ripped from Equestria, and flung though the multiverse. A quick glance at Princess Scarlet shows that she was calm and in control, as she would from doing this so many times before.

Everything suddenly comes to a stop, however, when the light around them vanishes, and the wind dissipates. Adz realizes that they were now outside of what appeared to be a modernized Ponyville. But as he regains his strength and steps forwards, he could see the humans Twilight had been talking about from her journey to this world. There were mares and stallions all over the place, walking on two legs. Adz had learned what he could from Twilight about humans before, since it fascinated him, but actually being there was something different all together.

Princess Scarlet steps up behind Adz, giving his flank a hard smack, before chuckling.

"So, how's it feel to be a whole universe away from home?" she asks him with a smirk, gazing out over the town herself.

"So this is the human world..." Adz marvels, mostly to himself, "Hey, so Twi said that there were alternate versions of all her friends here. Does that mean there's another me, and you?"

"Yeah, now come on, you don't want to be seen." Scarlet replies quickly, yanking Adz back towards some trees.

Adz struggles for a moment, before pulling free, and jumping back out onto the road.

"Wow really?! Can I meet him? I mean, me?" he asks, a wide smile on his face.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Scarlet hisses, "Get back here you bucking idiot, the humans here aren't used to seeing a bucking talking horse!"

Adz just turns back to stare at Scarlet's angry face for a moment, before smiling.

"You swear a lot. I'll see ya later, byyye!"

And with that, he trots off happily down the road.

Princess Scarlet growls angrily, not just at the stallion's stupidity, but at her own.

"Why did I bring that stupid stallion here?!" she scolds herself, "I gotta stop him before he screws this place up."

Moving quickly, Princess Scarlet travels along the backs of the houses in town, teleporting between building's, and hiding behind any trees or bushes she could find. It wasn't usual for her to move around this place in such a risky manner, but Adz had just waltzed into town, and she had to stop him.

Adz, meanwhile, was happily trotting along down the sidewalk, sticking close to the walls of the building's in hopes of not attracting too much attention. He heard Scarlet's warnings about getting caught, but he just couldn't not check this place out.

His efforts were useless anyways. A horse roaming the streets of town had attracted a few onlookers, taking pictures, and laughing at his admittedly noticeable cuteness. After only a little more walking, Adz found the entrance to a high school, with many humans that looked like the ponies back home flooding out. Over near the door, he could see, was Twilight, and her other friends, all talking and laughing, and other ponies he knew all around. But Adz still could not find himself. He was starting to wonder if he even was in this world as a human.

Adz frowns, and spins around, but not before smacking right into a human walking right up to him. They both fall to the ground, before Adz jumps back up frantically.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" he quickly shouts, looking down at who he had hit.

There, laying before him, was a male human with white skin, and red and grey stripped hair like his, wearing a pair of jeans, and a plaid shirt. The two made eye contact, and the human Adz stared back at pony Adz in shock. He quickly gets to his feet, his eyes still locked on his feral look-alike.

"Are you... a talking horse...?" the human Adz asks, his voice quivering in fear.

By now, many other people had gathered around, watching the two, unable to look away.

"Uh... y-yeah." pony Adz replies awkwardly.

"Are you me?" human Adz asks, noting the similar hair style and body colours they shared.

"I... think so." pony Adz replies, smiling softly.

Human Adz nervously raises his hand, extending it down to his equine doppelganger. He raises his index finger, and lowers it down towards the horse's face. Pony Adz sees what he was doing, and lifts his own hoof slowly, reaching up to the human's face. The Adz's hand and hoof both touch onto each other's noses, as they speak at the same time.

"Boop."

Human Adz jumps back, for some reason blushing softly. Pony Adz stares too, breaking out into a silly grin. But before they could talk anymore, Princess Scarlet suddenly appears next to Adz.

"There you are!" she shouts, not even bothering about being discreet anymore. "What the hell were you thinking! Now everypony has seen you!"

Adz gives Scarlet a guilty look, before pointing to human Adz, shaking his hoof in the air.

"But... it's me!" he whines.

"It's not him I'm worried about." Scarlet replies, nervously looking around.

"Hey!" a voice suddenly shouts from behind them, "It's that magic horse again!"

Adz and Scarlet whip around to see the human versions of Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon standing there, pointing with angry looks.

"Oh horse apples." Scarlet sighs.

"What?!" Adz shouts.

"We gotta get outta here. These guys hate me." Scarlet says quickly, wrapping her wing around Adz and lighting her horn. The girls charge towards the two, but just manage to miss them as Scarlet and Adz teleport away.

The blinding light and whirring winds return as Scarlet rips herself and Adz from the human world, and hurls them back into the pony one. They land with another thud, Scarlet landing safely on the ground, but Adz for some reason appearing in a tree, having been knocked off course from the surprise of the teleportation. He tries to jump off and fly back down, but quickly slips from his branch, and falls down the trunk of the tree, hitting almost every branch on the way down. He finally lands with a thud on the ground in front of Scarlet, his flank in the air, and his chin flat on the ground. He glances up at the mare with a huff, letting his limbs flop to the sides in exhaustion.

Scarlet looks down at the mess of the stallion, and cracks a small smile at the adorableness he showed, his tail swishing around over his flank. She leans down, and pulls Adz back to his hooves, punching his shoulder.

"Alright, safe and sound, more or less." she says, now smirking at Adz's weary face, instead of scowling at it.

"Thanks." Adz replies, smiling softly too.

"Well, I'll be heading off now. The duty of a Princess is never finished."

"Alright." Adz sighs, starting to head back towards his home.

Scarlet turns away from Adz, but steals one last glance at the stallion as he walks away, down the hill. He was an idiot, that's for sure... But, a cute idiot.

Scarlet chuckles softly, before lighting her horn one last time, and teleporting away.
