The story of my life Written by CrazyCherry //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 When I think back to all that's happened, I always remember certain points in my life. Those points that are hard to forget, like the birth of my foal and the day I met my husband. I've always been a bit sentimental, so I try my best to remeber the good things, but not the bad. Why? I don't know, but I think it's for the best. Anyways, my story starts from Appleloosa. I was born to a family that mostly grew cherries on their farm, hince my cover name; Cherry Blossom. My father, Nightlight Blossom, was, and still is, the greatest swordspony ever to live. My mother, Harmony Dayspawn, was a caring, nurturing and all and all a mother everypony should have. We would go on trips to the town and she would always buy us a pie to eat once we got home. She always smiled, and always knew the right words to say. My father, on the other hoof, was almost never home. Even then when he came home, he was never there. I knew he had an important mission in Canterlot, but I didn't get why he hated me so much. Around when I was four, my parents took me to town. It was meant to be a normal trip to sell and buy some stuff. When we arrived in Appleloosa, there was a war going on, though it was a pie war, it still scared me and my parents. The way the tribe could've just destroyed the town made my father gringe. After the fight we had gotten our stuff and went back to our farm. That was the first flavor of war I got. About on my 7th summer, my mother said she was going to send to the nearest trainstation to Cloudsdale, Ponyville she said the name of the place to be. She said she was going to come with me there, to make sure I get there safely. We bought the train tickets and I went in. I looked back to see my mother smiling to me, looking a bit sad. She was about to climb on the train, but my father ran to her. They seemed to be arguing about something and didn't have the time to realise the train was moving. The conductor had came and closed the door shut, making me unable to jump off. My mother was the first one to notice the train had left with me inside it. She ran beside the carriage, striking her hoof against the door. We tried to open it, but in vain. I was left alone, travelling to a strange place. I cried the whole way to Ponyville and I imagine that's what my mother did. I was dried up like a sponge that was left out to dry in 30 degrees celsius in the sun. I was alone in the wagon, so nopony heard me cry, except the conductor, but he just ignored it and kept on walking. I sighed deeply and rested my head on the window board. I heard the bells ring and knew that I had to leave. In Ponyville, the first face that I saw was Pinkamena Diane Pie's, or as everypony likes to call her, Pinkie Pie. She looked at my sniffing face and immediately came to cheer me up. I couldn't speak a word, I was so depressed, but she still got a smile on my face. She took me to eat cupcakes with her and have some fun, pranking other ponies. Slowly we became the best of friends. I got to sleep the first few months in her room, on the floor of course, but with a mattress. After those I was without a home for the summer. She couldn't keep a foal in her home she said, frowning. She didn't explain why and I didn't ask. I didn't want to make her more sad. I had to spend the summer on the streets, because nopony wanted to take me in their homes. I don't blame them. I was a smelly, bad maned, dirty pony. I myself wouldn't have taken me in. I lived of the food everypony threw away, especially the Apple family. My favorite food at that happened to be apples, not so crusted with dirt, etc. I was starving every single day and my ribs were showing. Every time somepony saw me I would run. I didn't want to be seen by anypony in the condition I was in. Eventually I survived the summer and then came the Halloween season, although I did have to wait another one and a half month for it. I dressed as a ghost, a blanket being the only thing I could get my hooves on. I went around gathering candy and trying to spook ponies off. Eventually came the time for Princess Luna to arrive in Ponyville. Pinkie, dressed as a goat, told me she came to Ponyville every single year. Everypony wanted to speak to her and I decided to not even try to speak to her and try to get her to deliver me back to my mom. The night went on and everypony was having a good time, except me. I had eaten all my candy into my sorrow and hunger. I saw Luna playing games in the middle of everything and sighed. I was ready to give up all of my  hope and started walking to my sleeping box, if it hadn't been stolen again. I felt a light tap on my shoulder and turned around, giving a tired stance. Then I realized who I was ready to fight with. Luna was standing in front of me, looking at me sadly. "Isn't this a night when everypony is supposed to have fun?" she asked me, smiling softly. "Come, my dear. Have fun with us." she said and picked me up. I didn't mind, I actually liked it. It'd been a while since somepony held me like that. I played all the games available in Ponyville. We laughed and ate and won many prices, one of which I still have today. When Luna declared she had to go and do her royal business I sighed and began walking away. She followed me to my regular sleeping spot and startled me by asking; "Don't you want to come with me, dear?". I nodded and smiled carefully, my insides filling with joy. She carried me to her transportation and we left Ponyville. I looked at all the landscape, just whizzing by us. I didn't notice it, but halfway on the journey I fell asleep. I felt like the happiest pony alive. End chapter
