Before This Event
Blake's household was quiet as usual as he sat in his room working on his homework, his mother was somewhere else at 'work' she didn't that i knew, yet I did as she was bad at lying, absolutely terrible. I basically was the keeper of this household as I had to clean, cook, and take care of my mothers needs. I'm pretty sure I attracted OCD during those times.
She and I weren't close at all. Even through we had lived in close proximity to each other When we talked to each other the conversations mostly consists of good morning or good night. My father, I had never met him and I don't plan too. My mother... My mother was a mess, the lady working the corner, the 'hoe' as she was called by her customer's. I never liked hearing that word but I had to deal with it as it came with lots of money but not enough
She had barely provided for me. I had to steal, beat, and lie for the things I have, and I feel sorry for doing so. I didn't want to do that but I had to, to live but In the middle of all that my mother developed addiction for drugs. After that we had a steady decline of funds and I was more desperate for my mother to stop and start getting a new job as she could barely pay the bills cause of her addiction. As she used the money to injects more of her healing 'doses'.
She brought some of her customers home some became her boyfriend who regularly beat me and abused me as I was a toy for them to mess with then they would leave. I always called for my mother as this happened but she never help as she was too afraid of them. I didn't hate her for it but I still wish she helped I had to explain bruises and gashes pall over me.
After a while around when i was 14 was the time I found out my mother couldn't afford to take care of me. So I was transferred to an orphanage. I was angry, happy, mad, and felt sympathy towards my mother. She just kicked me aside as I wasn't in her life like I was a mistake. But I understood at the same time as she was in no condition to help me as she couldn't help herself. I didn't want to blame her but at the same time I need someone to blame it on. So I blamed on my self.
A year after and I developed depression. It was small it would come for a few seconds then leave. But as I got older it would stay longer and have more of a mental effect on me. I became distant from the other kids of the orphanage but when I was forced to interact with them I his behind a mask of a fake mask that seem impenetrable.
The orphanage has a park nearby and on couple of occasions we could play at the park. But some kids came there daily and practiced 'Parkour' I thought it look cool and I tried it out for myself and failed most of the time by after months of trying I sorta perfected their moves and techniques. It helped me get around obstacles faster and gracefully. But I had no teacher on how to parkour, so I self taught myself and I became decent at it.
And I was 15 and after that most kids had left and I was still there as I was the oldest kid, nobody wanted an older kid. So they had gotten the younger ones. The care takers always assured me I will be able to find a home soon. And soon my birthday was coming up and my wish came true.
I was adopted... finally. But my home faired no better than my old one. I still thought about my mother but I had forgotten her face... How could've I forgotten her face. The house I now live in was closer to the city with the big buildings and expensive apartments. We live in one of those we watched many movies my new fathers name was Oscar and my new mothers Riley. I thought they were good people but instead were abusive as my mothers boyfriends times 2 as they both had done it.
When I was a little sloppy with the dishes they will fill it up and force my head into it until I couldn't breath. When I was disrespecting them they would hold me by the ledge of the fire escape. When I didn't clean my room they'd put a coin in a sock and beat me with it
