As they walked closely to the core, there was sudden jumps and they were lucky to look of what's above them. It was none other than the Insecticon Kickback.

"It's Kickback!" Arcee shouted.

"What does he do?" asked Fluttershy.

"He is a grasshopper, which he kicks his opponents to defeat." Wheeljack explained.

"We can't let him slow us down, let's take him on!" called Sunset as they began to fight Kickback.

As they inflicted damage to Kickback to half health, he called out some backup by summoning Skrapnel and Bombshell to the field.

"Oh, great! Them again!" Rainbow Dash complained.

"You brought backup. You're not as dumb as you look." said Optimus as the team combat the three giant Insecticons.

With every move, dodge, and strike they did, the giants have been defeated, and they finally get to reach the core.

"Got to capture the core. Now! Break the crystal shielding and dislodge it."Optimus called as they charge to bust the shield.

"Admittedly, you've gotten further as I expected. But no matter, the Insecticons will feast on your electrons!" said Megatron.

As they try to crack the shield, powerful winds blew on the heroes, blowing them away.

"Winds, so powerful!" Sunset called.

"We can't give up, let's fight the wind!" said Twilight.

"Oh, do give up already!" said Megatron.

"Almost there.."said Optimus.

"The core is becoming unstable. It WILL explode. If this continues, the whole room is likely to explode shortly!" T-1 warned.

"We need to get the core out of here! That should calm the reaction. Let's break that crystal shielding now!" Optimus called as they charged at the shield.

"Insecticons, hurry up and eat him!" Megatron ordered.

As they make their final charge, the shield has been broken and the core is exposed.

"This Plasma Core is Decepticon property. I will not let you put one rusty finger on it, Optimus." said Megatron as he ejected the core out of the ship.

"There goes the core."said Sunset.

"I see, but the ship is powered down for now. But if we allow Megatron to retrieve the plasma core before we find it, our victory here will not matter. We must move quickly." said Optimus as the team went back to the surface to find the core.
