A day in Ponyville
An end of a normal day
Previous ChapterIt was much later in the day when the three ponies left the apple orchard with the two stallions very pleased with themselves and the mare mighty conflicted by what had happened. Not from the Wonderbolt training, that was amazing to see and both non-pegasi had to admit that their friend had really improved since the last time they had seen Blitz train. His turns were sharper, he managed to pull out of dives smoother, and while his stunts seemed flashier, he’d kept in total control as he flew. It really showed how seriously Rainbow Blitz was taking his place as a Wonderbolt and the grin on his face showed how happy he was when he was showing off.
What was bothering Applejack was the whole other business, where she’d gotten off watching her two friends go at it like rabbits in heat. Sure, it was a major turn on for the pony but they were both stallions, not mares! It was something that she’d need to think over later on tonight and hope that Zicoro got back soon so she could be a stallion again.
“So,” she said after Elusive had done his little spell that made them appear nice and clean again to be safe. “Are you two going to stay for supper or do you plan to continue your date at each others’ homes?”
“This isn’t a date!” Blitz snapped, looking guilty at Elusive who simply sighed.
“It’s a bit complicated, Applejack,” Elusive said. “And we don’t have any plans made…”
“As much as I would like to stay and eat either your or AJ’s grub, I’ve got to go home and take care of a few things,” Blitz said, scratching the back of his head. “Need to clean up, make sure Armor is okay and do a run over of my house for any leaks.”
“And I should go home for a quick bite so I can make a dent into my orders and start a few new designs I have in mind.” Elusive replied. “Also, I need to see if I can get some new fabric after being inspired so recently.” He smirked up at Blitz for this one, causing the pegasus to blush with Applejack being unfortunately able to connect the dots.
“And I gotta bring these apples in,” Applejack said. “See you guys later?”
“Yup; bye,” Blitz said to her before flying down to nuzzle the unicorn. “See you later, El.” He then took off with a bang, the rainbow trail faint in the air. Elusive simply laughed, shaking his head before walking off leaving Applejack alone.
“Wonder how long it’ll take for them to tie the knot,” she muttered to herself as she gathered all the apples to bring home.
Starbeam Glow flicked his eyes as Dusk and Flare came down the staircase for dinner with the two giddy and smirking.
“Oh hello Starbeam,” Dusk answered, looking a bit sheepish. “I forgot we had some lessons planned for today. I was busy showing Flare some of my plans for reforming the educational systems that we lost track of time.”
“And I suppose you two expanding your friendship played some part as well?” Starbeam said, with the prince blushing at the accusation. Flare, on the other hoof, seemed nonplussed by the entire thing.
“And how, pray tell, do you know that?” she asked, raising an eyebrow as she helped set the table.
“Things echo here,” Starbeam said with Dusk blushing even harder and Flare coughing and somewhat embarrassed now.
“Well, first things first, we need to work on a silence spell so we do not interrupt any other pony with our personal lives,” Dusk said as he continued to help finish setting the table with the guard. “Secondly, I promise not to let my relationship with Flare interfere with my lessons with you, my student.”
“That’s good,” Starbeam smiled as he served the food he had made. “ I hope you enjoy it; I know it’s not as good as Barbs’ but I did my best.”
“I am sure it is just fine,” Dusk said as he sat down, looking at Flare. “Barb is coming back soon; how do you propose we explain things to her?”
“Concerning what exactly, your highness?” Flare asked with a clipped tone, her eyes narrowing.
Dusk met the look and confidently said, “Namely with you living here as the captain of my guard as well as my marefriend. I do not want to hurt her and I have very little experience in this matter so I am asking for advice to make sure everypony is happy.”
“Well, it would be best if we told her the truth; no reason to lie and it would just cause problems if we did,” Flare said. “And you of all ponies should know better…” She gave Dusk a meaningful look.
“I said I was sorry about that,” Dusk sighed. “Personally, I’m more worried about how she’ll react when she finds out about Blitz and Elusive.”
“Oh?” Flare Warden raised an eyebrow. “Something else I should know about?”
Dusk sighed again. “Bubble Berry’s going to give me Tartarus about telling you this… but Barb has had a huge crush on Elusive ever since they met, and she’s never quite given up hope that El might return those feelings. Even if Elusive and Blitz are just friends with benefits and not a full couple, finding out is probably going to really upset her.”
“I see.” Flare lowered her head. “I can understand why she might be upset.”
“I’m just hoping that I can help her get over it,” Dusk with Flare wincing. “What, what did I say wrong?”
“Nothing per say but this requires a mare’s touch,” Flare said, patting his arm. “I will handle it.”
“Okay…” he trailed off, a bit confused but clearly trusting her judgment in this. “Thank you Flare.”
“It’s no problem,” she smiled back at him and Starbeam rolled his eyes at the young couple.
“If you two are done, can we start to eat?” Starbeam asked, causing them to blush and nod their heads.
Moon Dancer fixed her telescope’s sight again, keeping her attention on the cloud house and the multi-tiered carousel-like boutique that Elusive called home with both stallions clearly visible to her.
She was so focused that she didn't even hear the pony approach from behind her. “So, Moon Dancer, keeping to your task?” the pony asked softly behind her, causing her to flinch and turn around to see Prince Artemis.
“Yes sir,” she replied in the same low tone as to not alert anypony that she was there. “I’m sorry again for reporting late but as I said, there were some air disturbances that delayed me.”
“I remember,” the night alicorn said before leaning down with a grin on his face. “Hence why you are still spying on them?”
“Of course no-”
“Did Blitz just step out of the shower?”
“Dammit, don’t tell me I missed i-” she whipped her telescope around only to pause and blush as she was caught. “Um…”
“As they caused a majority of my headaches yesterday,” her prince said with a huff. “I will allow this for one night; after this, you will stop. Understood?”
“Yes si-ooo,” she cooed as Blitz walked out of the shower with his cock erect and Elusive using his magic to test some restraints on himself that gave her a perfect view of absolutely everything.
Artemis called over his shoulder as he flew off to Canterlot, with Moon Dancer already remembering all the fun she’d had with them last night and this morning as well as imagining the things that they could do. “Have a good night in ponyville.”
