The Twilight Experiment

Ripples appeared on the magic mirror, revealing that something was about to exit from the other end. One moment later, Princess Twilight jumped through, landing perfectly on her hooves and took a glance at herself, seeing that she was back to her original alicorn self.

After she appeared, Twilight came through, falling flat on her face, a thud and a grunt heard. "Ow..." she muttered, her chin resting on the clear floor.

Helping her doppelganger up by holding a hoof, Princess Twilight couldn't help but admire her counterpart's appearance. She looked just like her, minus the alicorn wings. Her hair was in a bun and her glasses made her stand out more, and the alicorn couldn't help but look in awe at the former human.

"I'm sorry," the alicorn muttered, reeling her mind back, "I forgot you weren't used to this."

Twilight blinked, slowly getting on all fours, "I...I'm not sure how you Equines walk like this." she muttered, holding the princess' hoof as tight as she could for leverage.

"It comes naturally to us Equestrians, but since you're a human, I didn't think that part through." the alicorn admitted sheepishly and a little embarassment.

Twilight cleared her throat, "No, it's alright. I just need time to... adjust is all." she assured with a wave of a hoof, accidentally making herself fall again, not used to her new situation.

"So... Do you live here by yourself?" the girl asked.

Princess Twilight looked at her doppelganger, "No, Spike and my student Starlight Glimmer do as well. But they're in the Crystal Empire visiting Sunburst and Thorax. It gave me the time to visit once Sunset wrote to me to see you for... well..."

The former human was surprised by the major differences in this world. She was a princess, had a student, and there were other kingdoms. At least she still had Spike no matter what. It seemed to her that certain things remain constant, which relieved her a little.

"Follow me. I'll give you a quick tour of the castle." Princess Twilight insisted.

Twilight nodded, took a step forward and then fell again. "Oops." the princess frowned, reaching a hoof out for her now equine counterpart to hold on to again.

"Thank you..." the former human groaned, "I just need time is all."

"Alright."

It took some time, and a lot of walking, but it seemed Twilight got to see the whole castle, from the many guest rooms, library, lab, closets and even bathrooms. That sounded strange when referring to herself, but the former human knew that her counterpart was meant for something like this. Twilight smiled, holding onto her counterpart's hoof. The princess said there was one last spot to go to before... the second phase of the project.

And Twilight was even beginning to learn to walk as a pony. It honestly took a bit, and she was still stumbling a little, but adjustments were made in how she moved, and it worked better in the advice of her Equestrian self.

The alicorn lit up her horn and opened up a pair of doors that were in front of them. Inside was a giant bed and a door that led to a large balcony. "...And here is my bedroom."

Twilight blinked, "...Is this where...?"

Princess Twilight slowly nodded, knowing what her doppelganger was going to say, "...Yes." she admitted, her face turning red. She put a hoof to her forehead, "...My mind got a little curious is all. I'm sorry if all this is making you uncomfortable."

Twilight frowned, shaking her head, "N-No, I'm not uncomfortable at all. We planned this out t-together. I remember that much of the plan. It's just... It's quite a change for the both of us. Well, mostly for me."

"I understand." the princess mumbled, "We can wait until your more comfortable in this form if you wish." she suggested.

Twilight replied, "No... I'm ready. We can conduct the next phase."

Silently nodding, Princess Twilight stepped backwards near the bed. Her doppelganger followed her trail and watched as the alicorn wrapped her hooves on her shoulders, prompting the two of them to stand on their hindlegs as Twilight placed her forehooves to the alicorn's sides. Their muzzles began to flush red and grow warm around their cheeks. Princess Twilight was clearly not used to such intimacy with another pony, and it kind of made her excited, knowing she'd get to do this with herself.

For Twilight, it was yet another foreign experience. Here she was, a unicorn, and now being held in the hooves of herself. She gave her alicorn self a soft smile, feeling rather safe in her grasp. If there was anyone at this point she could feel content with doing such activities, it was herself now.

The two gazed into each other's eyes lovingly, wondering who was going to make the first move in this mutual experiment. Princess Twilight put a hoof to the unicorn's cheek and smiled, sitting on the side edge of the bed now.

At last, she moved forward, closing the gap between the two of them until their lips met.

Twilight's eyes snapped open. Her doppelganger's lips felt different this time, almost a little fuzzy on her own. But this did not deter her from deepening the action, and tilted her head, closing her eyelids. It felt almost exotic for the former girl, but that was the reason she was enjoying it.

Princess Twilight stroked a hoof onto the unicorn's mane lovingly and pulled her back once her hoof reached her barrel, lying on the bed now. Her doppelganger yelped in surprise at the sudden yank, but this did not stop her from deepening the kiss.

The two rolled around, never breaking the kiss as they moved about on the bed. Now, Twilight lay underneath her alicorn counterpart, her head cushioned on a pillow. Princess Twilight placed a hoof on her doppelganger's chest, tilting her head as she deepened the kiss a little more.

A smack was heard and the two distanced each other's muzzles. Twilight's mouth was agape, "W-Wow..." she whispered, putting a hoof to her tingling mouth.

Princess Twilight raised a brow and frowned, "Did you l-like it?" she asked.

Twilight gave her alicorn counterpart a quick peck on the lips to answer her question, parting a moment later. "...Yes."

The princess giggled, "Alright. S-So, shall we...?" she trailed off, wondering if her counterpart was having the same train of thought.

The unicorn wrapped her hooves around Princess Twilight's neck and pulled her in for another smooch, this time opening her mouth and pushing her tongue onto her doppelganger's own. The Equestrian moaned and opened her mouth in kind, stroking her hooves down the unicorn's chest, leaning further into the kiss.

Alas, they separated and the princess cleared her throat awkwardly, "S-Shall I... Do what do you did...?" she asked slowly, moving her gaze downward. Twilight swiftly nodded upon hearing her words and insisted she did.

Princess Twilight squeaked upon feeling her flank get squeezed. Twilight smiled sheepishly, hoping that her actions were right.

The Princess, despite the sudden movement, gave her counterpart a lustful stare. "How... To test her theory, she rolled her counterpart on the bed, earning a squeak and mirroring the former human's actions, reaching her hooves to the cutie mark and lightly squeezing it.

Twilight yelped, not used to this. "I-I see..." she saw Twilight's alicorn wings and wished to continue this pony experimentation. The unicorn lightly stroked a hoof on the alicorn's spine while lightly kissing her neck. This suddenly caused the princess' wings to unfurl upon instinct.

"T-The wings..." Princess Twilight moaned.

Twilight didn't hear what she said and moved her muzzle to the feathery wings. Princess Twilight recognized this action as preening. She had no idea it could feel so... erotic. With a relieved smile, the unicorn muttered, "Good." Twilight shuffled the two of them on the pillow. Princess Twilight rested her head ln the unicorn's chest again while Twilight gently stroked a hoof on her Equestrian counterpart's back. The princess giggled and kissed Twilight's cheek.

"Do you wish to enact the final experiment once we're ready?" the princess asked tnrough a hushed whisper.

Twilight slowly nodded, "Yes." she cooed, nuzzling her doppelganger's mane, "With some adjustments to the portal it could be done." she planted her lips on Princess Twilight's forehead.

The princess agreed and closed her eyes. Two experiments in a day and the Sun still wasn't down. Twilight held her alicorn self lovingly and looked out the window, hoping that the third and final part goes as smoothly as before.
