Arrival in a New Town
Just here to tell you I do NOT own any Characters or places mentioned, just the idea.
"Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who ruled together and created harmony for all the land. To do this, the eldest used her unicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn; the younger brought out the moon to begin the night..." Shining Armor read aloud.
'Why am I reading this again. Didn't I have to do something else..., Oh..... I HAVE TO GET BACK TO THE LIBRARY!' With that Shining promptly shot to his hooves and began galloping as fast as he could. He passed a few ponies on his way back, But he didn't have time for trivial matters, he NEEDED to get back to the Library.Upon arrival, he stomped up the stairs only to startle poor Spike as he was coming down the later.
"SPIKE!" Shining shouted.
"WwAAAAAHHhHHh. Eugh. You didn't have to shout. What is it?" Spike questioned.
"Can you take a letter to Princess Celestia and ask her what my task was during this Summer Sun Celebration, I keep forgetting,"
"Alright." As requested Spike wrote down the letter and promptly sent it to the Princess. Moments later Spike belched up the reply. Shining swiftly picked up the letter with his magic and read
<Dear Shining Armor,
I am sending you to Ponyville to oversee preparations on the Summer Sun Celebration. More importantly I am sending you there so you can do more with your life than goof around in the library; make some friends!
"Pfft," Shining scoffed, "Who needs friends when I got a bro like you, Spike."
"Apparently, you do," Spike quipped.
After a few minutes of quiet contemplation, Shining decided to go do some reading. As he was reaching for the book, there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it!" Shouted Spike
"Is this the residence of one Shining Armor and his assistant Sike?" asked An Armored Guard.
"Number One Assistant, and yes,"
"We're here to take you to Ponyville on request of the Princess."
"Alright." Spike turned, "Hey Shining, some guards are here to take us to Ponyville!"
"I heard," Shining responded. Today was gonna be a Long day.

Upon arrival, Spike and Shining armor were greeted by the site of ponies working hard to get ready for The celebration. Spike unrolled the checklist he had made to keep track of what they were doing.
