Watching The Sky Together
Rarity was in Sugarcube Corner as she stood in line to order a sweet. She didn't mind waiting in line sometimes but she did get annoyed when it took a while to get to the front. When she got to the front she smiled at Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie smiled back and Rarity gave Pinkie Pie her order and Pinkie Pie took Rarity's order. While she took Rarity's order Rarity asked her a question.
"Do you want to go out somewhere tonight? If not then can we do it another night that you would have time off?" Rarity asked. Pinkie Pie shrugged and nodded. Rarity smiled and got her order while leaving. She went back to her place and prepared for wherever she and Pinkie Pie were going to go. When she got ready she relaxed a bit and then headed out to meet Pinkie Pie.
When she got to Sugarcube Corner Pinkie Pie walked with her to a park. They didn't care if it was at nighttime as it was warm and there were lights surrounding the place so that they could see each other. As they sat on the bench they looked at the stars. Rarity didn't mind being outside at night but she was still afraid of getting her mane dirty if it got hit by any trees.
Neither Pinkie Pie and Rarity were tired or ready to go to sleep as they sat in the park while they watched the sky silently as they were really overjoyed just to spend time together. They really didn't know what they were thinking about looking at the stars at night but they did admit that it was nice. Rarity was glad that she wasn't tired right then as this seemed fun.
"Thanks Rarity I'm glad you took time out of your day just to take me somewhere nice. I hope that I'm not wasting your time. If I am you can take me back home I won't mind." Pinkie Pie told Rarity. Rarity shook her head as she smiled. She turned to look at Pinkie Pie and responded to Pinkie Pie's baseless worry.
"Pinkie Pie your not wasting my time. Why would you think that anyway? That's silly to think. Your my best friend so I really don't mind where we go together. I don't mind taking my friends anywhere with me as I enjoy anything that I did with my friends. It doesn't have to be about me all the time either. They have ideas about what they wanted to do as well. So don't say that Pinkie Pie." Rarity said smiling.
"Thanks Rarity. I'm glad you explained that with such passion. I understand what you are saying to me. I truly love what your doing for me I absolutely love it as a friend of yours. I will remember this night for a long time. Nopony has ever been this nice to me. And so I want to say thanks Rarity." Pinkie Pie said.
"Aw! Your welcome Pinkie Pie." Rarity said as tears started to fill her eyes. Rarity wiped her eyes and then they hugged. After hugging they continued to watch the night sky with eachother. Pinkie Pie squealed with excitement from time to time while Rarity smiled at the sight of the beautiful stars. She wished all nights were like this.
While they watched the sky they saw shooting stars. They also noticed constellations. Rarity was having more fun than she would like to admit to herself or to her friends but she was allowed to have fun every once and a while with some of her best friends and with herself as she needed to have some fun once in a while.
Rarity smiled at Pinkie Pie and admitted to herself that it was really nice to be beside her best friend as they saw constellations and shooting stars late at night. They both knew that they were doing it on work nights but they didn't care as they couldn't be to late from work tomorrow. They both knew that they could still get to sleep after being up for a few hours.
Rarity didn't even worry about sleeping in. In fact she could close Carousal Boutique for the day and just sleep in while not even worrying about her business for a day. She needed time off from work anyway as she was tired from doing her job earlier that day. She wanted time off and this was a perfect time.
While they both watched the sky they both started to snuggle together. Pinkie Pie and Rarity watched the sky for a few more minutes and then got up and then went back home. When they got back home Rarity said by to Pinkie Pie and then she went home to her place.
When she got home to her place she got in bed and went to sleep as she was tired from the eventful day. She knew that she was going to have pleasant dreams of being by her friends and watching stars with them as they sat together as they enjoyed each other's company. She couldn't wait to do that with her other friends.
Rarity closed her eyes and braced herself for her dreams. It usually took her a few minutes to fall asleep but she hoped to fall asleep very quickly. Soon her eyes beamed droopy. She wondered if she ever snored but she couldn't think of it now as she was going to sleep.
She went sleep with a smile on her face as it was a very good day for her and Pinkie Pie. She was glad that she got to spend time with one of her best friends. She hoped that she could do it again. She couldn't wait to have dreams about he great time she had that night.
