Chapter One
*BRING*
The loud, ringing noise cut through the air, awakening a cream unicorn. She opened her golden eyes, looking over at her alarm clock. She shut it off, then got out of bed, trudging sleepily to the bathroom. The mare sighed, running a brush through her wavy two-toned dark blue mane.
After a couple minutes, she walked out of the bathroom, mane untangled and coat brushed. She grabbed her saddlebags and trotted out the door, eating an apple. She walked out of her yard, closing the gate behind her.
"Star Shower!!" A voice called. She turned her head, looking for the source of the voice.
"Hey Dew Drop!" She replied, waiting for her friend to catch up. "How are you?"
"I'm good." The light grey unicorn replied, smiling. "I'm glad school is starting again. I can't wait to see everypony!"
Star nodded. "Yeah, I'm glad too." She said as she made her way to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns.
"Let's see..." Dew Drop said, brushing her two-tone dark grey mane out of her eyes. "I have Ms. Violet for homeroom. So do you."
The mares continued to compare schedules until the warning bell rang. "There's the bell. We'd better get to class." Star said, and the two mares hurried off.
