I groaned as I got up slowly from my seat and putting the magazine I was reading on one of the counters.

“Come on Roxie, it’s time for us to go.” another voice called.

It was quite an amusing scene. Sure, while she may not be as well-known as Sapphire Shores or Fleur de Lis, she still has quite the fan-base but that’s a story for another day. Right now, I was enjoying the sight of the two. Though my eyes scanned to the mare my boss was currently embracing.

Even though I was tired, I got up and helped her get to the bathroom as she tripped and landed on my chest. I looked down at her with amusement and she just blushed and relaxed into me as we walked got to the bathroom door.
“Thank you.” she said softly behind me as I turned the doorknob. I looked at her giving her a quizzical look.
“For what?”
She suddenly wrapped her arms around me, her face burying into my back. Even though I can see I can’t see her face, I’m very positive that she was smiling when she said,
“For noticing me.”
