The Universe is Big
No, like, really big. And with nowhere else to go, Nightmare Moon finds herself doing some exploring.
Nightmare Moon wasn't sealed within the moon. She was banished there, yes, but those who are banished are not chained; they are doomed to wander, exiled from the origin of their banishment.
She makes a point to return in a thousand years.
Until then, however, she will wander.
Loosely based off of a line from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by the fantastic Douglas Adams.
