Injured

Twilight was outside walking to her home. While she was outside she tripped and fell over a cart and slid against some mud which caused her to sprain her legs and hit her body against a platform. She screamed as she hurt herself. Some of her friends saw her and came rushing over her for air. She cried in pain as she looked back and saw that she has tripped over a cart.

"The Princess has hurt herself!" A royal guard shouted. The guards rushed over to help. She tried to wave them off as it wasn't necessary and tried to pick herself back up again. She screamed. She looked back at her legs and they all hurt as she fell on top of them. The guards rushed over to try and help her.

"No you don't have to help me! I'm fine!" Twilight told them. Twilight felt embarrassment felt to grow as ponies started to crowd around her and asked her if she was alright. She didn't need any of the attention as she could help herself up.

"Give the princess some room!" Mayor Mare shouted. The guards moved the ponies back away from Twilight. They were all talking about what had happened. Twilight waved a Royal Guard over to her. She wrote a letter about what had happened to the princess Celestia and handed it to the guard as she winced in pain.

"Send that to Princess Celestia!" Twilight said. The guard nodded and ran off to the princess. Twilight's friends soon arrived. They rushed over to her as they felt scared for her. Rarity looked on with concern. She became sad at what happened to her friend as she, her friends and the citizens felt bad for Twilight.

"Twilight are you okay!? When will they be able to bring you to the hospital!?" Rarity said as she panicked. Twilight looked at her condition and almost laughed at Rarity's statement. She looked back up at Rarity.

"What does it look like?" Twilight said as she chuckled. Rarity bent down by her to comfort her. Twilight continued.

"I wrote a letter to Princess Celestia and the Royal monarchy of Canterlot. I'm waiting to hear back." Twilight said. They all waited for the guard to come back with the response from Celestia. Twilight assured her worrying friends that she was going to be taken care of.

They continued to talk for a few minutes and then a guard came running back with a statement from. Canterlot. The guard gave her the letter and stood by. The letter said that their were no available means to remove Twilight from the street until further notice. Twilight felt sickened by Canterlot not even caring about her.

"Well...Canterlot just told me that they can't send anything to help as they are out of means to get me. They pretty much just told me to go screw myself." Twilight said flinging the letter away. Twilights friends were outraged. They started to badmouth Celestia as they believed that Celestia made the decision.

Twilight shook her head as she laid on the ground and looked up at the sky. News ponies took pictures of Twilights state for the newspapers and other reports as well. Twilights friends were upset at what was happening. Twilight however came to terms with what has happened as it was her fault for not looking where she was going.

"That's disgusting that they won't send you any help! Why can't Nurse Redheart help!?" Rarity ranted. Twilight shrugged as she laid there in the dirt. She became hungry so her friends bought her food to eat. She decided that if she was going to lay there in her own blood she might as well fix herself up and get settled in. She tried to flap her wings but those were extremely damaged as well due to her accidentally falling on them when she tripped.

It was an a absolute nightmare for her but she didn't complain while her friends ranted about it. Meanwhile as she laid there there was absolute chaos in that area. News ponies reported about her condition while other ponies went to Canterlot and demand that Twilight be helped. Canterlot officials said that they were aware of the situation and they were doing all their best to report it to the princess and get Twilight treatment.

It began to spiral out of control in Ponyville as they're were news ponies that set up camps around the area of where Twilight was laying by. There were guards who were trying to stop this but Twilight ordered the guards that they could ease up as the news ponies were just doing their jobs on reporting about Twilights condition. Twilight did order restrictions on the citizens from invading her privacy.

They had doctors check her legs but they couldn't do anything else as they were all out of supplies. This enraged the citizens as Twilight was being treated badly. Every nation of Equestria heard about Twilight's condition after a few hours. Media ponies took pictures of her.

Twilights friends were to upset over the entire situation but they stood by Twilight anyway. Twilight continued to lay there. They had no other equipment to get Twilight to a hospital and treat her as the hospitals didn't have any sufficient means to save Twilight. The Royal guards weren't strong enough and they had no wagons.

This left Twilight where she was. She tried to ignore this by reading a few books. Things started to go down even farther. Their were protests that broke out over what was happening to Twilight as ponies demanded Twilight be rescued. The monarchy did as best they could to shut down the protests.

Canterlot castle was defaced with paint as protests broke out. Their were violent uprisings against Canterlot. The media went absolutely haywire over the entire situation. Media coverage focused solely on Twilight for days. It continued to spiral into chaos. Canterlot officially stopped talking to Equestria and was temporally shut down.

Twilight spent the days eating to keep herself well fed and reading to keep herself occupied as much as she could. Twilight and her friends watched the chaos unfold around her. It turned into a complete mess.

Cantelot shut down was ended after a few days of the chaos and officially sent resources to pick up Twilight. The protestors celebrated. They immediately treated Twilight and offered her an apology and an explanation for their uselessness. The reasons were was that they did not have enough resources but once they got some they saved Twilight.

Twilight had an infection removed from her hurt leg and the leg was treated and Twilight was released after a week. She wrote a memoir of the incident and investigations were launched into the complete idiocy of Canterlot. Officials were fired and Twilight was promised that Canterlot would never act like that again.

Celestia felt bad for Twilight as well but Twilight assured her that it wasn't her fault as it was her monarchy's fault. Canterlot made sure that if it happened again then they would never act ignorant and slow like how they did ever again.
