"i cant believe her slacking off again!" Pinkie's dad scoffed. "cant you just let her be? i mean at least shes happy." Granny pie said sadly looking over at Pinkie pie sitting on a large rock, a small smile playing on her face. she was off in her own world again probably at another pony pet play date, with gummy. as a rock hit the back of her head she snapped out of her trance, hair now straitened, the small smile that once appeared on Pinkie pie's face vanished. "whats wrong Pinkie your little friends didn't protect you from the rock?" Pinkie pie's sister Inky mocked. Pinkie just stayed quiet and started to push some rocks into place with her snout. "hmph" Inky huffed and walked away. "Pinkie pie come here" her father said loudly gesturing with his hoof for her to come closer. "yes?" Pinkie mumbled when she got close, "you need to stop day dreaming we haven't got time for that silly stuff, you were born to farm rocks noting more, you ain't some hero or what ever it is you think about your just not!" her father said sternly.

"But Granny pie said that i can be any-" Pinkie started to say until she was cut off by her father. "now you don't go listening to her, all shes doing is filling your head with dreams, dreams that will never come true!" Pinkie's dad said slightly yelling this time. Pinkie pie's eyes started to water a bit as she ran off. she had didn't wish to hear anymore of this, her dreams would come true one day... wont they? Pinkie pie dried her eyes and looked up at the sky as she did before and started to drift off into her world.

"What are you all doing out here?"  rainbow dash asked looking around at her friends and there pets. " Why, we always round up our critters for a regular ol' Pony Pet Play date in this park." apple jack said in her normal accent. " Uh, you do?" Rainbow dash asked unknowingly. "Same time every week." Apple jack informed her. "I thought you knew. You didn't know? She didn't know?" Flutter shy said playing with the dirt by her hoof. "Well we had initially planned on inviting Rainbow, of course, except–" Twilight sparkle was about to explain when a rather hyper Pinkie pie jumped in "We were totally gonna invite you, Rainbow, then Twilight remembered that you don't even have a pet, and Rarity remembered that you really like to take naps in the afternoon, so Applejack figured you wouldn't be missing out on anything anyway, and Flutter shy and I nodded our heads in agreement like this." she finish as she was bobbing her head along with Flutter shy's up and down. "Oh, please don't be mad at -"

at that moment Pinkie pie was welcomed back to reality by her body slamming into the floor, she had been pushed down by Blinky who promptly ran off laughing. Pinkie pie got up and shook herself off.
