Chapters Celestia walked through the Canterlot Royal Gardens in the early morning hours, the sun barely above the horizon. Many of the residents of her world weren't even up yet. It wouldn't be until another three hours had passed until the royal guards opened the gate to let the ponies in. She sighed while they frolicked, skipped, played, and picnicked, she would be in meetings with stuck up aristocrats or trying to communicate and deal with foreign dignitaries. It wouldn't be until she had to lower the sun and raise the moon that she could escape such "important tasks".
She had never gotten use to raising and lower the moon, it taxed her every morning and every evening. The duty was meant to be shared, as it once was with her and her sister working in harmony to manage the to celestial bodies in the sky to insure balance, order, and harmony. How woefully unprepared they failed. Her sister for trying to plunge the world into eternal night, and her for letting it get to the point where banishment was the only solution. She did not dwell on it. In only ten moons her sister would return to her, and she with the help of her student Sunset Shimmer and her pupils future friends, could help her and her sister be reconciled.
Thoughts of Sunset came to the for front of her mind. She was not the student that Celestia thought she would be training for such an important mission. For starters she thought that her successor would be marked by the mark on the tree of harmony, but it would seem that providence, had other ideas. Sunset was good with magic, no that wasn't the problem the problem was that the more Celestia taught her the worse her chances of making friends became.
"How am I to fix this mistake of mine?" She asked herself as she walked through the statue garden. "The more lessons I give her the less she cares for friends the more free time I give her the more time she spends by herself alone. How have I failed this time?" She felt the ancient magic starting to move. Her horn glowed. There was a strange disembodied chuckling. "And do I fix it?" The strange magic pulled back as her thoughts once again returned to how to obtain harmony.
The school bell sounded finally 4:10 time to go home. No more school, sure Zyon had homework but who could expect any student to actually do their homework over the weekend. He hurried to his locker and pulling all his books out of his bag shoved them into the small grey rectangle. He swung his back pack by one strap over his shoulder, and put the other arm in through the other strap. He was out of here, and on his way home. Supper was doubtlessly being prepared for him. His mom would probably have the ground beef thawing in the sink even as he thought about it. Home made hamburgers with salad. It made the school week worth it.
Zyon had started home. Walking as he normally did on the small trail that snaked it's way around the large green belt. He'd follow the trail about half an hour longer than he needed before crossing the street. He always did this every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, being so close to pure, raw, untouched nature was amazing. It was clean and dirty, gentle and destructive. Nature for everything was always doing something, and no matter how advanced people became nature always had the upper hand. Something caught his eye.
It was a flash of light, which resonated deep in the woods. It was weird he walked down the small slope to the tree line to see if it would happen again. In less then ten seconds another flash of soft light. This time followed up by a someone chuckling. "Didn't your mother ever tell you it was rude to stare." A figure said, as he walked casually out of the woods, to stand in front of Zyon. He so loved playing dress up with the monkeys they were always so fun, and they came in such a unique color variety too. Millions of these hairless monkeys shared the exact same color and yet they were about as harmonious as he himself was. What with all their languages, wars, opinions of right and wrong, and traditions. They weren't made in his image, but as they were now they were as fractured as he was.
"Wh-who are you?" Zyon asked nearly petrified by the two yellow eyes that looked deep into his own.
"Well I'm not the Devil, and I'm certainly not God," the strange man with black hair with two streaks on of blue and the other of white began. "more of a gray man in the middle. Get it because I'm gray huh, huh. Hm tuff crowd." Zyon took a step back. "No don't run away!" He froze again. "I'm just here to offer you a chance to live in a world of peace and harmony, and to be special, to have powers beyond your wildest dreams. To live in a world were pollution isn't even a thing. So," The man held up his hand, his figures thin and pointed like a bird's talons. "Do you want to come with me to a world like that. I ask nothing in return of course. Just a free gift."
"Totally." Zyon grabbed the man's hand, before pausing. "Wait can I bring my mom."
"Thing about that is." The streaks in his hair became horns as his face elongated. "You already said yes," he whispered into the brown monkey's ear as his grip tightened around the boys hand. With a scream of fear and pain, and a flash of light the two were gone with nothing, but a lone backpack left where they had been.
Sunset walked with one of the guards into the statue garden. Apparently the incompetent idiot was going to go and bother Celestia about some random little wild animal that had wondered it's way into the statue garden. Upon his insistence that Celestia needed to know about this Sunset finally convinced the moron that she being Celestia's assistant was more qualified to make that call and would check it out. The two of them made their way toward the Discord statue.
The two of them arrived at the statue to find a little hairless monkey crying at the base. "Your joking you were going to waste Celestia's time with this. It's just a baby monkey that probably wondered out here. Just no, in ten minutes Celestia will lower the sun and this thing will make it's way back into the forest." She glared at the guard. "You should be glad that I caught you if you had wasted her time with this you'd be joining the mare on the moon." With that said and the guard adequately admonished she turned and left returning to her studies leavening the babbling creature there at the statue with the baby monkey.
Celestia walked through the statue garden under the cool light of the moon and stars. A sound had caught her attention as she had been lowering the sun and raising the moon. The sound had only gotten louder as she made her way through the garden. It wasn't long for her to guess where it was coming from, and sure enough as she approached the statue of Discord from the back it only got louder. She turned the corner and froze. It was a baby. A baby was crying here in the garden. A baby human was crying here in the garden, she picked up the infant and brought him up close to her in her wings.
"Shh, it's okay," she said. The guards were going to have to explain why they hadn't come to her with this. "It's okay little one." Her eyes met the baby's. They were so big and round and adorable. Something else was there to, but weather it was with the baby or her she couldn't tell. After a moment it started crying again.
"No, no, no. None of that." She started to rock the baby in her wings. "hush now quiet now it's time for you to rest your head ," she began to sing. "Hush now quiet now it's time for you to go to bed ." As she rocked the baby to sleep she made up her mind this would baby would be hers. She was now a mommy, let the aristocrats argue if they dared.
"I think I'll call you Zyon."
Sunset Shimmer groaned as she and Zyon walked down the halls. Why Celestia had stuck her on monkey duty today was beyond her. She had done nothing to deserve this level of punishment. "Hey Sunset, Sunset?" She glared at Celestia's son of three moons; he was beckoning her over to his side near one of the windows over looking the one of the palace gardens. She kept the glare on him as she walked over. Zyon didn't mind to him that was how she always looked.
"What?" she demanded as she looked out at the garden filled with rich aristaponies and families. There were even a few of the poor schools that were having their annual field trip into the gardens. "It's just another basic day in the gardens."
"True but do you see that mare over there the one next to Fancy Pants?" He asked pointing one of his fingers at the white unicorn mare that was standing next to the aristapony. "Fleur. Fancy Pant's arrogant sister." He stuck his tongue out at her. "She's a big fat stupid meanie head. She made fun of me last week and you yesterday, and now I shall have revenge."
"And how are you going to get your revenge?" She made fun of me. Sunset would be sure to have a word with the stuck up little horn head.
"With my magic of course." Zyon answered Sunset showed great restraint not face hoofing. She moved talking to Fluer down on her list and talking to Celestia about indulging the monkey's belief that he could use magic to an ASAP assignment. It would have to wait until after she got back from her trip to her school though. "Oh and what are you going to do?" Sunset asked with a smirk.
"I'm going to turn her cutie mark in to a big ugly dumb fat head." Sunset rolled her eyes. "Right about now." He snapped his fingers. Sunset gasped in shock as Fancy Pants started to panic in the garden Fluer so joined him. Magic like that was impossible not even Celestia could change a pony's cutie mark.
"I'll admit I'm a bit impressed." She looked down at Zyon, whose smile nearly took up his entire face at her praise. "What else can you do?"
"I can do anything." She raised an eyebrow. All magic had rules, and as Celestia's personal student it was her responciblity to find out what the rules were to this new magic. A magic that could be used to change even a pony's cutie mark. A magic that could finally take her up to the next level.
"Really care to test that?"
"Sure."
"Okay let's see can you take away Fluer Dit Lis's horn?" Sunset asked, Zyon smirked and not looking away from his one and only friend snapped his fingers again. The panic in the gardens increased ten fold as Fluer Dit Lis's horn vanished from the top of her head. Sunset smiled that will teach her to mock me. "Let's get a better view." Zyon smiled and snapped his fingers again and the two of them were resting on a pink cloud as they watched the show. "Uh what is this stuff?"
"Cotton Candy," Zyon said as he pulled off a small part of the cloud and popped it into his mouth. "So what should I do next?" He chewed the cotton candy for a while as he watched the panic rise in the garden.
"Hmm, I have an idea," she said as she glared down at Fancy Pants who was trying desperately to calm his sister down. "Let's see if you can turn Fancy Pants in to a mare." She waited nothing. She looked over at Zyon who sat on the cloud pensively.
"But I like Fancy Pants, he's a nice guy."
"I just need to see what this new magic can do," Sunset answered. "And turning a stallion into a mare and visa versa is one of the hardest spells to preform, besides if you can do it one way you can just undo it when we're done, right no harm no foul." Zyon bit his lower lip as he thought about it for a second. Then he nodded, pointed his second finger at Fancy Pants, and covered his eyes with his other hand.
"Boom mare now," he said with just a twinge of regret. He winced as there were shrieks and screams rising from the crowd below. "You know that was really easy," he said after a moment.
"Alright try age regression and progression." Zyon looked at her blankly for a second. "Make some of one them a foal and the other on a geezer," she answered rolling her eyes.
"Oh okay." He snapped his fingers and over three dozen ponies became foals another three dozen, and another three dozen became old.
"Zyon what do you think your doing I said turn one of them into a foal and the other into a geezer not a quarter of the ponies in the park!" Sunset screamed at him.
"Oh relax would you. You wanted to see what chaos magic could do and I'm showing you, besides no pony got hurt so no harm no foul right," Zyon answered in a voice that wasn't his own. "Now about that thing you call a sky." He looked up. "I never liked that shade of blue it was always so boring." He snapped his fingers and the sky became pink with polka dots which changed colors between bright orange, purple, and neon green. "Ahh, much better."
"Zyon are you insane what do you think you're doing? Celestia is going to be pissed. Put everything back to the way it was right now!"
"Oh please you don't think I'll actually undo all of this chaos now that I'm nearly free do you, besides you didn't even say please." Zyon laughed. It was cold, a laugh Sunset never imagined. "And don't worry about Sunny Butt, you see that?" He pointed up to the sky. "I put that bubble up as soon as I got control, No one on the outside even knows what's happening."
"What are you talking about Zyon?"
"Oh would you please stop calling me that, I am Discord Lord of Chaos, Master of entropy, and three time runner up at The Go Fish Tournament of the Cosmos." Zyon said as more cotton candy clouds appeared and started pouring out chocolate milk rain. "And you shall address me as such."
"Your not Zyon?"
"Now you're getting it, you know for Celestia's personal student you sure do learn fast."
"Get out of him right now!" Sunset's horn flared.
"Make me." She shot the spell at him blasting him away. Zyon landed on a cotton candy cloud at the other end of the garden, she teleported over, doing her best to remain standing after her teleport. "That was and ethereal rejection spell. I know Celestia would never teach anypony that kind of magic."
"You were right about one thing, Discord was it. Celestia is to slow for me, so I've started to dabble and teach myself. Now get out of my friend." Zyon started to laugh again.
"You don't have any friends little unicorn and we both know that." Zyon snapped his fingers, and Sunset was sent flying into the ground. Which yielded like a trampoline and caused her to bounce several times before coming to a stop. The cotton candy cloud carried Zyon down just a few paces from Sunset.
"Give me back my friend."
"One quit kidding yourself. Two no one likes you, you're jerk and trust me I know a lot about being a jerk, and three." Zyon counted off his fingers. "Since you're so good at being a broken record I think it was a mistake that you were born a pony, but don't worry I can fix that." He snapped his fingers. Nothing happened. "Odd." He snapped them three times in quick succession. "One moment, I'll be right back."
"Sunset make it stop!" Zyon screamed holding his hands to his head. Sunset watched in horror as he continued screaming. Then just a suddenly he stopped.
"There we go much better now, where were we." He trailed off. "You've got to be kidding me." A rainbow wall slammed in to the chaos bubble, which shattered on contact. Undoing all of the things that had happened, and continued across the sky. Leaving Zyon unconscious. Sunset caught him in her magic before he hit the ground, and using one last spell teleported them to his room.
***
"Sunset, Zyon, I am very disappointed in the both of you for this," Celestia said as she watched the two of them. "What happened in the garden is completely unacceptable, and unbecoming of my student and my son."
"I'm sorry mom it's just."
"No I'm sorry Celestia don't be mad at him." Sunset cut Zyon off causing both to look at her in confusion. "I goaded Zyon on. It's just I wanted to learn more about this new type of magic." Celestia sighed.
"Well I hope the both of you leaned that this magic is not something to be played with. I wish I could sweep this under the rug, but I can't both of you go to your rooms I need time to figure out what to do." Both nodded and left. Sunset said good night to Zyon. She was glad that her room was on the other side of the palace now. She had found a new magic and thought it best not to practice it around him.
Zyon walked behind Prof. Anthropology. The old unicorn stallion was talking about something that he really didn't care about, so his mind wandered away from the boring monotone professor. The two of them made their way to his next class room where the wrinkly old goat would continue, boring the boy until his political science teacher came. Zyon shuddered at the thought sure Prof. Anthropology could ramble on and on about boring stuff for hours, but uncle Blue Blood was down right the worst. He must have lived in a different universe from Zyon because of his constant hour long rants about how the aristocracy did everything. Bunch of stuck ups Zyon never understood why his mom never banished the lot of them to the moon. Except for Fancy Pants he was cool, for an aristocrat.
Suddenly a smile crept along his face as he looked out the window. The old stallion continued his rambling as Zyon slipped over to one of the large palace windows. He quickly took out his pencil and drew the outline of the door being sure to use only the smallest amount of his magic. Which he promised his mom he'd always do from now on, and only five times a day, and only for emergencies. This clearly counted as an emergency. He was at risk of being bored to death by the grey wrinkly stallion and his deadly waves of boredom. It was a life or death situation, after all.
Zyon opened the newly opened door of window glass and jumped behind a bush. Hidden from his rambling teacher who probably wouldn't notice he was missing until he arrived at the class room, which would take about ten more minutes. That gave him ten more minutes to think of somewhere else to be and get there.
"Where to go, where to go?" he asked himself as he tapped his forehead trying to think of the best place to go to in order to disappear. "Sunset is studying." He shuddered remembering the chewing out he got the last time he interrupted her during her study time. "Mom wouldn't be happy with me, and Fancy Pants would just drag me back to class." Zyon eyes went wide as two guards turned the corner. He jumped into the bush. They had been talking to each other and hadn't seen him. One of them sneezed as they passed by. "Gesundheit."
They turned back around and checked the bush. No one was there.
***
"I can't believe that I almost blew my entire free day because of a stupid sneeze." Zyon walked down the streets of Canterlot. "And now I've also wasted on of my magic uses for the day." Zyon shuddered. His magic wasn't like his mom's magic which brought joy and light. His was unstable and the more he used it the more he wanted to use it. It was a vicious cycle that would end in another incident. Which was the last thing that he wanted.
He entered the small diner at on the corner of the street that he had been walking down. It was his favorite diner run by one of the neatest ponies ever, and his assistant was really cool too. She had these really funky looking eyes.
"Hey there Zyon." Bagel Muffin walked around the counter to greet the young prince. He wasn't a pony but Zyon was still technically the next in line after Celestia. "So did Professor Anthropology cut class short again?" Zyon looked around the room before giving a conspiratorial whisper.
"No, not this time. This time I'm skipping."
"Now I never expected that." The baker looked at him disapprovingly. "Why would you do such a thing to nice old Anthropology. He's such a good unicorn, and one of my regulars. Teaching you is one of his greatest honors. He told me so himself." Zyon deflated a bit.
"But he's so freaking boring." he said trying to regain the high ground and not feel bad for the old wrinkly stallion. "He just keeps rambling on and on about stuff that I really don't care about."
"All the same you shouldn't have skipped out, poor old goat's going to be rather depressed by this." He looked over his shoulder at a loud crash that came from the kitchen. "Are you alright in there."
"Uh-huh." A light grey Pegasus mare poked her head out and bobbed it up and down.
"Did you break anything?" She shook her head side to side. "Good now go and make Zyon his regular. Come here lad and listen you need to listen to all your professors, even if they're boring, and you should never skip."
"You think I should listen to Blue Blood too?" Bagel Muffin's face went sour.
"What does that stuck up, tight wade have to do with any of this? I was talking about teachers and other respectable ponies like bakers, and butlers, and trash collectors. Not Blue Blood and his assorted rabble."
"He's my political science teacher and teaches the class right after Professor Anthropology." Zyon took a step back from the fuming baker. "That's one of the reasons I skipped was because I didn't want to listen to uncle Blue Blood rant about how grateful everypony should be about the aristocracy."
"It's a good thing you left pompous tight wade only got the job because Celestia thinks he can't poison your mind with his nonsense. I don't see why we should risk it though. You should skip every class with that, low class jackass. No offence to jackasses of course they provide a very important service to our great nation." The baker looked at Zyon who was focusing on the door. "What's wrong lad."
"Nothing. Ditzy I'll be taking my usual to go, and give Professor Anthropology a bakers dozen of his favorite muffins. Charge it to my account." The grey Pegasus nodded as she put the quadruple chocolate chip mega marshmallow muffin in a small bag and tossed it to Zyon he gave Bagel Muffin a couple of gold bits and ran out the door.

Zyon walked down the streets of Canterlot avoiding all the passer-byes; he knew that he had just felt something. Something strange, something strong. Who ever it was they had some serious magical abilities going on. He turned the corner and quickly made his way down the street they were on the move. He made it just in time to see some filly walking down the street. She was the cause of the kind of magical energy. Zyon rubbed his eyes in disbelief. He snapped his fingers and transformed himself into a unicorn. That was the third time he had used his magic today, he kept count.
"Hey there." Zyon said as he walked up to the little unicorn filly. "My names Zyon, am I correct in assuming that your from Celestia's school for gifted unicorns."
"You'd be correct in that assumption my. Name is Twilight and I'm almost late for class, so if you don't mind I have to go."
"Right, okay." Zyon watched as the little purple filly ran off. "I'll have to ask mom about her, and that magic wowzers." Zyon started walking home.
***
Zyon walked along the pink cloud highway. To the strange mix matched creature that inhabited his dreams. It was a secret that they met together. The strange creature insisted that he not tell anypony about these meetings not even mom.
"Ah, my favorite little monkey. It's been awhile since we've talked."
"I haven't been using my magic recently."
"And that all changed today."
"Yeah I skipped."
"That a boy!" Discord threw his griffon talon around Zyon's shoulder. "Down with the institution. What could teachers teach anyways other than how to waste a perfectly good day, am I right."
"I guess."
"What more could I ask for."
"Something else seems to be troubling you though. What is it you can tell your old uncle Discord."
"Well there was this filly."
"Isn't there always."
"Her magic was insane stronger than mom's." Discord raised an eyebrow. "She goes to mom's school and her name is Twilight."
"Really now that's interesting." Discord smiled. "Oh my look at the time well I've got to go. And remember never use your magic more than ten times a day. And never tell anypony about these dreams. I assure you these are perfectly normal for monkeys like yourself. Okay." Zyon nodded and Discord disappeared.
Author's Note
It was done on a whim no planning needed. I'm so freaking tired, hahaha uh.
Zyon Walked next to his mother as they strolled down the streets of Canterlot at a leisurely pace. They were escorted personally by four members of the royal guard. Captain Pure Heart's best. Zyon was surprised that Pure Heart himself wasn't going to be leading the escort. Not because the royal guard was necessary, but because when ever the two of them went out it was normal that the head of the royal guard go with them. He like the old white unicorn. He'd miss him when he retired in seven five years.
"Hey mom where are we going?" Zyon asked as the two of them made their way down the street. The only time they left the palace together during the day was normally for the Summer Sun Celebration. Mostly because Zyon Couldn't stand the stares that all of the other ponies gave him.
"Well Zyon, I have a very gifted pony at my school that I would like you to meet, and would like to meet you," Celestia answered as the two of them turned around the corner. "I was hoping to introduce the two of you earlier, but unfortunately things came up with your uncle, and with Sunset."
"What happened with Sunset?" Celestia lost her step at her adopted son's question. "Are you alright mom?"
"Yes, yes I'm fine." Celestia started to search for the words to answer her son's question. "Sunset and I, well we've been have some disagreements over the direction of her studies." Celestia sighed. "I'm also bringing on a new student soon so it's been rather stressful trying to keep Sunset on course and getting my new students study plans ready."
"You're getting a new student?" Zyon looked up at his mother in surprise. "When did that happen?"
"A while actually." Celestia looked down at Zyon. "It happened during the sonic rainboom. Her name is Twilight Sparkle."
"Oh I've met her, she's got crazy magical potential."
"When did you meet her."
"Huh the day I played hooky, but she didn't see me like this."
"Oh how did she see you?"
"Like this." Zyon snapped his fingers and transformed into a black unicorn with a blue mane and tail.
"Zyon. Didn't I tell you never to use that magic." Celestia glared at the young boy.
"I-I can control it, so long as it's less than ten times a day. I've been practicing. Honest." Celestia sighed.
"Very well, but from now on you don't get to practice unless I am around, am I understood?" Zyon nodded, and the two continued to Celestia's school. "Also you're grounded."
"What??"
"Skipping class is one thing, practicing forbidden magic behind my back is quite another. You aren't allowed and desert for the next week, and you must attend three extra approved lectures from your uncle."
***
Celestia and Zyon waited patently in a large and grand white marble training room. Zyon still had on his disguise. He was quickly getting tired of waiting. "So how long until Twilight gets her?"
"She'll be here in a moment." Celestia answered. Not long after that the doors too the grand hall opened and a purple unicorn walked up to Celestia and bowed. "Twilight there's no need for that."
"I'm so so so sorry that I'm late Princess Celestia, I was trying to feed Spike but he's being really difficult and won't eat anything except for sapphires right now. I know I'm two minutes and thirty seconds late, and I'll understand if you don't want me as your student anymore."
"Wow, she's really up tight and serious." Twilight's ears dropped, when she saw Zyon.
"I see that you've already found my replacement."
"Me, mom's student. No I prefer my tutors, no offence mom, but skipping a class that you teach would be kinda impossible, and I'd never get to visit Derpy and Comrade Bagel Muffin again."
"Mom?"
"Oh right that's a little secret known only by the elite and a few common ponies." Zyon rubbed his mane. "But yeah I'm mom's adopted son." Twilight looked from Zyon to Celestia, who nodded, but continued to remain quite, and let the two of them choose how they'd like to meet each other. "Wow." Zyon trotted up to Twilight. "How'd you get so much magical energy into that little horn?"
"My horn is not little. It's completely average for my age!" Twilight protested. Zyon licked her horn. "What the hey!"
"Huh, and your magic taste like grape pudding. Neat."
"Zyon, honey, why don't you take off that disguise, and show my new student the real you?" Celestia smiled. Zyon nodded and tapped his hoof on the floor three times. In a blaze of blue light he flashed back to his regular human body. Twilight gapped in amazement. "Twilight I'd like to introduce you to prince Zyon, prince Zyon this is my student Twilight."
"Cool so which room will she be staying at in the castle?" Celestia coughed and looked away.
"Actually she'll be receiving lessons here at the school. This is also where she'll be staying." I wanted the two of you to meet because starting today I'll be teaching the two of you magic." Her eyes shifted to her adopted son. "And how to control said magic." She looked back to Twilight. "Something both of you need to learn. As I'm sure you're aware having an extensive magical ability is one thing. Getting it to do what you want is quite another. Now Zyon, go to that end of the room Twilight go to the other your both going to begin with a simple task that will hone your control focus on this ball I want you both to push the ball toward the other but it isn't allowed to float away form the center of the room. Begin."

Sunset Shimmer walked down the halls of the castle. Her sleep spell had done its job and everypony in Canterlot was asleep. Not even her former teacher and mentor Celestia was strong enough to resist. She was done with this Celstia's nonsense was holding her back from reaching her true potential, but that was about to be solved. She had discovered a mirror to another world and there she'd be seen for the wonder that she was. Instead of being treated like a filly by a long since out of her prime princess. Still though she couldn't bring herself to leave without saying good-bye to her one and only friend. The little monkey creature that lived in a room across the castle. This was the last time she'd see him. It was time to say good-bye. She opened the door to his room and stepped in. He was asleep on his bed wrapped in blankets head resting softly on a pillow. "Good-bye Zyon, you were the only reason I stayed this long. You were my only friend." She turned around to leave
"I thought I already told you little unicorn you don't have any friends." Her body froze. She turned around, and there he was Zyon sitting up in his bed. His eyes red dots in a sea of yellow. "Did Celestia really think I'd show up in the middle of practice oh she really is out of touch isn't she. Though lets face it she's handling senility pretty well, huh." Sunset's horn lit up.
"Discord."
"The one and only." Discord snapped Zyon's fingers and her horn vanished from her head. "Fool me once shame on me fool you twice shame on me, so tell me little sunset what are you doing up this late?"
"I'm leaving Celestia's held me back for to long."
"I agree completely." Sunset looked at him quizzically. "Oh please I the spirit of chaos not deception it isn't in my nature to lie." Discord crossed his heart. "But where in Equestria could you go that Celestia wouldn't know about?"
"I'm not staying in Equestria. I'm going to another world."
"Ah you're using that. Oh I knew you were smart but that is pure genius." Discord gave a light applause. "Celestia would never think to look there. Also the world on the other side is full of magics you haven't even conceived of. Trust me I've been there. Do promise me something."
"I don't owe you anything."
"Oh I think you'll like this Queen Sunset Shimmer. Please once you've reached your true potential come back and give Celestia a good talking to. For me, for you. Anyways nighty night." Discord lay back down with a grin on his face.
"Discord!" Nothing Zyon remained sleeping in his bed softly snoring. "Never mind I'll come back, and when I do I'll do more than talk to Celestia and you'll get some too." She turned her back and headed to the mirror to the other world. "Queen Sunset hmm. It has a nice ring to it doesn't it?" Discord smiled as he heard her.
