“About five days, so roughly five hours in real time. Why?” Radiant asked as he and Sean caught their breaths. Never had anyone been able to wear Radiant down to the point Sean had; it seemed that the angrier Sean got, the more his power increased, and Radiant was going to milk that flaw for all that it was worth.

“Cause I’m tired of you holding back! I wanna see what a full powered Siren can do.” Sean said as Radiant smirked and placed two of his fingers on his forehead and began to chant in what sounded like old Latin.

“Sean, I can’t do that because I would kill you.” Radiant said releasing as much power as possible. “I’ve released enough to the point where anymore and you won’t be able to track me.” He continued to say as Sean smirked and decided to turn the tables on both of them.

“Gee, with an attitude like that no wonder everyone around you dies, to scared to even handle a measly human with Equestrian magic. No wonder you couldn't save your sisters or Applejack.” Sean said as Radiant remained silent before a large explosion raged through the room surrounding Radiant and Sean in thick smoke, a gray skinned monster with horns, tail, and wings emerged from the smoke as Sean smiled brightly.

“That’s it--now the real fun can begin!!” Sean said as he and Radiant clashed throughout the room, with each hit causing a small sonic boom on impact. As the two men fought Sean's mind began to analyze the fight and everything that had happened leading up to this. Sean didn’t recognize himself as he mentally observed the fight from afar. A few days ago, Sean was a weak human on the verge of death in a mysterious new world, and now here he was matching an Ancient Siren blow for blow, Sean reveled in the thought that in no time flat he would return to Equestria and tear Chrysalis to pieces.

Sean began to spin as he delivered a sharp kick to Radiant’s gut before catching his chin in a full power punch, the inertia from the punch alone sent both men flying into the wall with a loud crash. Sean stood up and bent his leg before launching off the wall screaming Chrysalis's name and delivering a massive punch to Radiant who at the same time delivered an equally powerful blow to Sean as his fist nearly burst clean through Sean's body, the two collapsed onto the ground as their power dwindled and became dormant and their chests slowly rose and fell as they gasped for air. Sean staggered to his feet and limped and swiveled over to Radiant before putting his foot on his chest and smirking. “I...win…” he said before collapsing and passing out on top of Radiant.

“Well, looks like the kid’s got tenacity and power, but he’s still no match for Chrysalis, especially since that wasn’t even my full power.” Radiant said with a laugh before standing up and hoisting Sean over his shoulder and walking over to a room filled with two pools of water. Radiant bent down and stripped Sean down to his underwear and laid him in one of the pools. “Don’t worry, Sean...you’ve trained enough for today, so just relax, and let the healing water do its job.” Radiant said to himself as Sean’s body rested in the pool, his chest still rising and falling. Radiant soon does the same and climbs into the adjacent pool, letting out a sigh of relief. “If anyone can save Equestria it’s him.” He said before closing his eyes and falling asleep.

Meanwhile, at Canterlot High School the girls were just getting out of class as Adagio and her sisters waited outside for Twilight and the others. “So, Adagio...what's your opinion on Sean?” Aria asked as Adagio placed her arms behind her neck and braced her back against the wall. “I mean he is nowhere near Radiant in terms of power and combat prowess, but I think he has the potential.” She continued as Adagio let out a deep sigh and turned to her smiling.

“Yes, but the likelihood of him surpassing and matching our brother is unlikely; despite having Celestia’s life force inside that stone keeping him alive, he is still a human with augmented Equestrian magic whereas Radiant is a pure blooded Ancient Siren. You saw what he did to all the people that tried to kill us all those people where five times stronger than Sean, and Radiant wiped them out like they were nothing. Although I could sense something interesting inside Sean and if it is what I think it is then him and Radiant working together would be a terrifying sight. I will admit one thing though...” Adagio said with a suggestive smirk as she looked over at Twilight.

“What's that Dagi?” Sonata said hopping into the conversation almost scaring Aria half to death.

“Twilight is a lucky girl to have someone like Sean caring about her. I just hope that when the time comes he will make the right choice. I’d hate to see a cutie like him make the wrong choice.” She said giving off a small shudder from the thought of Sean staring down both Twilight's trying to choose which one to save. “It sends romantic chills down my spine.” She said as Aria and Sonata laughed.

“What's so funny?” She said slightly annoyed before narrowing her eyes at her sisters and tapping her foot against the ground.

“Sounds like Twilight isn’t the only one with feelings towards Sean.” She said nudging Adagio’s side with her elbow as Adagio twitched her eye before blushing in embarrassment.

“Y-Yes, I just got overheated from the weather.” Adagio said trying to come up with a viable excuse on the spot.

“Thanks Rarity, but no. I’m keeping it like this I’ve grown used to it and don’t wanna change it, now then shall we head home? I believe Sean and Radiant have finished training.” She said quickly walking away from the school as the others shrugged and followed her down the street to the bus stop. As they climbed on and punched their tickets they quickly made their way to their seats and sat down as the bus began to slowly crawl away from the school. As the bus traveled down the street Adagio rested her cheek in her hand as she began to stare out the window. As her thoughts began to drift she began to think back to when she first came to this world so many years ago. She remembered the battle of the bands and the crushing defeat at the hands of the girls that are now her closest friends, her mind flashed forward to the day when she and her sisters were reunited with their brother. As the bus began to travel down Pinkie’s street Adagio snapped back into reality and quickly dried her eyes and put on a happy face, the girls walked off the bus and entered the house to find Sean and Radiant sitting on the couch covered in bandages and gauze. As everyone looked astounded, the two smile and wave at the girls.

“Radiant, what happened to you?” Adagio and Sunset said at the same time prompting him to stand up and smile.

“Believe it or not, Sean actually beat me when I was near my full power.” Radiant said as everyone's jaws dropped and their eyes shifted to Sean who smiled and waved.

“What? You mean Sean beat you...easily?” Adagio said as Sean and Radiant looked at each other and laughed at the statement.

“No, Adagio your brother did as much damage to me as I did to him, I’m just a little worse for the wear than he is.” Sean said as Radiant nodded patting Sean’s shoulder.

“We kept trading blows every time we fought, the boy's tenacity is unbridled and honestly the most impressive I’ve seen in a while.” Radiant said as he went to the kitchen and pulled out pots and pans. “Now, just get comfortable while I make us a special dinner.” Radiant said as everyone nodded and sat down in the living room. Pinkie skipped over and sat next to Sean as Twilight joined them.

“I’ll be right back.” Adagio said quickly rushing upstairs into the bathroom quickly closing the door and locking it. “Holy shit, I can’t believe I was wrong! No one has ever been able to match Radiant, yet a human with augmented Equestrian magic succeeded. Sean, what the hell are you, & more importantly what did Celestia do to you?” She asked herself before slowly stripping nude and turning on the shower, after a few minutes steam filled the bathroom as Adagio stepped into the shower she sighed at the feeling of the warm water hitting her skin and washing away the sweat and grime of the school day. If you challenge her now and defeat her you would die from surpassing your limits, how do you think Twilight and Celestia would feel knowing the lost the last bastion that would ensure Equestrias survival.” Radiant said as Sean looked down at his plate angry that Radiant wanted to keep the stasis pool a secret from Sean along with the fact that he only fought him at half power out of fear of him becoming enraged and putting himself in grave danger.

“Still, could’m still not strong enough despite how could you made think I was doing, then next time we fight I won’t be fighting Chrysalis I’ll be fighting you Radiant and next time I’ll win the fight then it’s off to Equestria to save my friends.” Sean said standing up and storming out of the house leaving his plate behind.

“Should I go talk to him?’ Sunset asked sweetly watching him pace in the yard before walking down the street.

“Now, lets let me work it out the boy has a lot riding on him and he just wants to save his friends and fulfill his promise to Celestia, I would be frustrated to if I were in his shoes which is why I’m gonna train him as hard as I can.” Radiant said as he took Sean's plate and wrapped it in tin foil.

“Radiant if it is so important to him why don't you go to Equestria with him and help him?” Rainbow asked as Radiant close the refrigerator.

“Because by now Chrysalis has the Elements of Harmony in her possession meaning she is far stronger than me, you forget the Elements of Harmony are my major weakness.” Radiant said sitting down as everyone looked at him puzzled.

“How are they your weakness? I thought you achieved immortality?” Adagio asked as this new information was a shock to her.

“I’m not immortal girls I was never I’m just immune to Aging, Disease, and human weapons. Magic is still a real threat to me even magic enhanced weapons can kill me. Sean has an Element of Harmony inside him meaning he is the one Element Chrysalis doesn’t have, once Sean has reached his potential then both of us will go to Equestria and defeat Chrysalis but as of now without Sean at his peak we would be killed within seconds.” Radiant said as the mood in the room became sad. “We all remembered what happened the first time I died I know the pain you girls went through and I refuse to put you girls through that again I also wouldn’t want Sean’s friends to feel that pain either. Now lets drop the subject and go watch a movie while we wait for him to return.” Radiant said leaving the kitchen as rarity and Applejack began the dishes and the others browsed Netflix looking for something to watch. Meanwhile, Pinkie was fixing four big bowls of popcorn for everyone along with soda and hard cider.

Meanwhile, Sean began to walk through a nearby park as Radiant’s words rang true in his mind, annoyed he decided to start his training now to get a head start on Radiant’s training lessons. Sean dropped to the ground and began to do push up after push up ignoring what was going on around him and focusing on becoming stronger. He let out controlled breaths as his body rose and fell on the ground. Thunder began to boom and lightning flashed as rain began to pour down outside as Sean worked harder before alternating between push ups, crunches, and pull ups. Sean knew these workouts wouldn’t increase the power of his magic but Twilight always used to say that magic became easier the more stamina and strength one had and Sean was gonna make sure he pushed his body as far as it would go. After several hours of continuous work Sean felt his body strain and his muscles burn but chose to ignore it and work through it, not long after the third set of one thousand push ups Sean collapsed into the mud as his body had no more energy to lit me up let alone allow him to walk home.

I know you’re feeling lost and angry but you must be patient or else you could get hurt and like Radiant said you dying is burden you don’t want on your friends. Know that even though I may have passed on my spirit still lives on in that stone in your chest and the smiling faces of the ponies of Ponyville, so take that knowledge and fight on and don’t give up no matter what.” She said before slowly fading into the sky and becoming one with the rain. Sean blinked for a few seconds contemplating the advice before rising to his feet and running home anxious to continue his new life in the quest to save the world.
